Kobe Anpanman Children’s Museum & Mall

Tourist attraction Theme park Indoor playground Childrens museum

😐 The place in general is very nice for kids who love Anpanman. There are quite a few shops places to eat and so on. Now the museum part is kind of a scam. To put things into perspective, the Louvre museum, probably the best actual museum I've seen, is cheapest than this. And this is just one floor... People often mention kids, museum, Anpanman, floor, show, great, places, characters,

The place in general is very nice for kids who love Anpanman. There are quite a few shops places to eat and so on. Now the museum part is kind of a scam. To put things into perspective, the Louvre museum, probably the best actual museum I've seen, is cheapest than this. And this is just one floor with a few slides and themed places to play, I can't state how small it is. In short, go to the mall to have some fun and buy some merchandising but ignore the museum, just out of principle, 2000/2200 yen is silly.

For 2,000 yen per person over 1, I was really expecting a better experience. For the most part this is basically a glorified indoor playground. It does have a few cool things like a meet and greet with Anpanman and a quick 10 minute show, but overall quite disappointing.

The place is awesome and suitable for young kids who love Anpaman. Entry ticket cost 2000 yen but they do have some discounts for kids and the ones who are vaccinated. My kids who are 12 and 14, didn’t want to enter as they found the place boring, however, we managed to have some anpaman breads with characters and different flavors. Kids enjoyed it. The place has some other entertainment varieties and connected to Mosaic mall with lots of eateries and stores around. Ferry wheels is good but it’s only a short ride. Wish if it were longer. Located next to the harbour, you can enjoy the sea and ships views with beautiful mountains backdrops.

I did not enter the museum but the statues and decorations of Anpanman outside the museum makes me feel this is a nice place for kids to visit. Also, they make Anpanman breads which looks very cute.

My 2 year old loved it and still talks about it months later. She loves seeing photos from the day too. The museum is ideal for those with kids who are already into Anpanman. They can do the kid version of nerding out on all the characters etc. I even want to say it’s a must-see for kids who are into it. It might not be so much fun if you don’t know the characters well. The live show was great and so was the restaurant and shop area. Lots of other little features and places enjoyed by my daughter. All in all a great day out but not cheap at all! Best to take the whole day and make the most of it.

My daughter had lots of fun. It's just a little expensive for what you get. There was a good show and you could meet the characters.

This area is better aimed at toddlers than children. In our opinion, the entrance fee (2,200¥) is quite expensive for the playground and facilities available. My 5 year old child enjoyed the facilities outside the paid area more.

The kids adore Anpanman, so what I can say? It’s a colorful and enjoyable place although small one. There are frequent shows and performance where kids could dance and sing with the character. Closest station is JR Kobe. Get off there and walk about 10 minutes following the sign to Harborland. Please buy the ticket online to make sure yo get one before entrance!

This may be my favourite place for children in Japan🇯🇵. There was also a cast who could speak English. The bread looked delicious and the child was eating it. I got melon panna, Anpanman and curry panman bread. It's a very good place.

Good place for young children (maybe under 6). The ticket price is a bit high. It's small but nice and colorful museum. You need to book a ticket online. The museum does not have its own parking lot. You must park in the nearby parking lots.

Different experiences compare to Anpanman' Kochi. Many playground and fans greeting are the plus value.

The big wheel ride was great! Slow ans easy moving, great for kids or someone scared. Was there on a really windy day and felt secure and safe inside the bubble.

A great time! We actually didn’t even go to the museum on the second floor. The first floor is full of shops and places to take pictures for free. As far as my daughter is concerned that WAS the museum, and she loved it.

Anpanman is the icon cartoon for Japanese. Must visit , with restaurants nearby, kobe harbor view, kobe Tower, ferrie wheel all in vicinity

The first floor is just little shops. The museum sells out of tickets quickly. On holidays it’s very crowded, and there isn’t all that much to do.

This place was great for small children or any Anpanman fans! That said I would rate this place a 3.5 stars if I had the option. The ticket price for the size of the museum and the amount of things to do seems excessively expensive (2500 ¥ in 2022). The whole bottom floor is also just shops that cost money, which I expected but was still a little disappointed. Even though the size is small the stuff they do offer is great. The Anpanman live show was very fun and interactive for kids and all of the staff was super friendly. The designs were neat as well, especially all of the little scenes hidden in the floor. Worth it for the price, but just barely!

A lot of things to see in the museum. Very clean well maintained. Great spot for kids to see all the characters. The live shows were a lot of fun! My daughter was very excited to see Anpanman and sing along with the show. It was crowded, even with timed enterences. You really need to book a time in advance!

Super super cute place with many stores of Japanese famous characters. It is a must-go place in Kobe. There are also many beautiful places to take photos around there.

There’s anpanman EVERYWHERE! a must stop if u are a fan. There food to eat (nearby too) and cloth for the kids to buy at the ground floor. It is near the harbour park, and the tower. Nice night view if u are there, walk along the harbour too.

Its a good place for kids! Dont forget to buy the bread from the bread shop on the 1st floor..

Smaller than expected, being a “museum” and all, way too many shops and not so many “attractions” for kids, but my kid was just 2 years old when we went, I want to believe when he gets a bit older he’ll enjoy it more. We were able to watch a show, luckily thought it was Anpanman, Baikinman and Dokin-chan, best show for our boy. The SLman ride was short but for jigs who love trains it’s enough.

What can I say...our kid enjoyed it a lot! Recreation of all Anpanman series is super accurate. They also have a mini theater where Anpanman will show up for a few mins. Missing more playgrounds and food, merchandaising is overpriced as it happens in similar places like this
