Nice location. Appartments are OK if you just stay a day or two. No early breakfast. Breakfast can be had in the cafe below as of 09:00 am. If you are expecting a hotel, go somewhere else. Otherwise it is good value for money.

The building is nicely located on the market. We rented 2 rooms for 3 nights to experience the Christmas Market. The entrance into the hotel is through the cafe. When we arrived at 14:15, I approached the cashier to verify we had the correct location. The lady barked back indicating ’yes’ and check-in is at 15:00. I never said I wanted to check-in, only wanting to verify. It is clearly written on the reservation that check-in is at 15:00. Once arriving at our rooms after climbing two flights of stairs (no elevator), the rooms are very clean. However the room size was tight. The bathroom was also clean. We want to warn that taking a shower instead of a bath is a little dangerous. The shower is at the base of the bathtub which is okay. The problem is the bottom of the bathtub is curved. You have no footing especially when there is soap on the tub. We always took baths to avoid the danger of slipping. In the morning, we found a very nice bakery, Bäckerei Hoefer, serving breakfast. The bakery opened at 7:00 which is 2 hours earlier than the hotel. The bakery is located at Entenpfuhl 19, a short 5 minute walk. All interactions with the hotel is through the cashier of the cafe.

Good location and great atmosphere.

Pollo pano ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - a light yellow curry, was delicious Black coffee ⭐⭐⭐ - exactly what you'd expect! Super fast service. Spoke English.

I did not stay here as we were passing through, but we probably will in the future. Beautiful hotel and lovely cafe, perfect spot.

The room was good but really warm. And this was only in early june so I dont want to imagine how hot it gets in summer. The cafe closes at 17h so i dont know how the check in goes after that? Because there is no reception. So inform yourself when you would arrive late.
