Bike friendly hotel with recently refurbished rooms, very reasonable for the price, nesspresso machine in the room was a nice touch. Large locked storeroom for bikes was a big help

Second time staying here. As of today, buffet breakfast is open. Let them know of dietary restriction (gluten free) and they ordered GF bread for us. Hotel and restaurant staff very welcoming. Hotel was clean. Our stay was great!

Fantastic, family hotel near the train station and an easy walk into the old town. Horst and his team made us feel like family. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable with fantastic showers. We both had great sleeps and enjoyed a great breakfast and wonderful dinner (excellent Weiner Schnitzel!!) there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again when we go to Koblenz. Highly recommend! 5 stars from us!

Great place to stay in Koblenze. Short walk from the main station. Modern room style. With all ammenties. Extremly helpful staff. Great food kn hotels own restuarant Modrian, well recommended.

Quite impressed with this place. Staff were friendly and helpful allowing us to stow bags before our check in. Our room was very roomy..the shower was huge and the water pressure was great. Rooms were tidy and not rundown. I would go back.

Hotel Hohenstaufen Koblenz is definitely one of my favourite hotels in Germany. Location is perfect near the main train station and an easy 200m walk to Rhine River. The town centre is also only 5min walk. Rooms and bathrooms are fantastic and recently renovated. Breakfast buffet was included and had a very good selection. Check-in is easy and rooms are very reasonably priced. We will always stay here when we next visit Koblenz.

I was there on the night of May 26th 2023. First things first: the reception process was an exercise in perfection: the wonderful woman at the reception was super friendly AND kind. After asking for my ID (German law) she looked at me, at the photo on the ID (ID cards don’t have a gender marker in Germany) and very warmly asked me: “What salutation should I write on the invoice? Miss?” - my heart melted away; I completely melted away… 🥹🥹🥹 When I said “none please*, if possible” - she apologetically said: “thank you, of course” and added “nowadays you should ask, you see, you can’t just assume.” I was already smiling but my smile became a happy grin - as wide as I could - and replied: “This is really kind and so welcoming. You just made my day, thank you!” and adddd, jokingly (still with a huge grin): “and of course, this WILL result in five stars …” Thank you you wonderful lady - you won the heart of this person forever. The room was clean, very nice, very tasteful. The only I wish was for more/larger vegetarian options for breakfast. *: I am a non-binary person.
