Location is the only saving grace for this hotel. The rest are questionable. Disliked · Firstly, One of the staff in this hotel is extremely nosey(unnecessary involves in conversation). she tries to give us life advice when we don't need one. The rooms were extremely small and definitely not worthy as well. Booking.com rates it higher when it shouldn't be.

Rooms are small but with a balcony and view of the River Rhine makes for a nice stay. According to the hotel description, there is an elevator. Which is correct, but it stops between floors. So you always have 1/2 flight of stairs. Top for people with difficulty taking stairs, select the floor above the one you need. It's always easier to go down a few stairs than up.

The one star is just for the view from the hotel not the hotel or its staff. The view from the hotel balcony is fortress and the beautiful Rhine river. The double room in hotel is extremely small to accommodate two people. The bathroom is too small that it is very difficult even for one person to take shower. During our check-in in the hotel, there was a staff who was very annoying. She asked too many questions and gave negative comments about it. First of all, commenting on the guests are not right at all. I can't imagine how they can comment on us so negatively. She even gave free advises which is not at all required. There was another staff who was very humble and helpful. I hope they keep more staff like the later.

Our bedroom had a lovely river view with a private balcony, but the room was a little on the small size. Breakfast was extensive and delicious but had to pay an extra €15 per person per night. Most other hotels we have been to offer complimentary breakfast for guests. Even tea & coffee making facilities was an extra €8.50 per stay. I recommend this hotel because of it’s central location and beautiful views of the river.

Room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Electric kettle was not included, but there was an option to obtain it together with some teas and coffees. Nevertheless, they provided free hot drinking water to us when we I asked from them. They only provides very few parking place. We were lucky and we were managed to park at their last parking place. Location wise is very good, just next to the Rhine river. Basically we just parked our car at the hotel and then we can walk around from there.

Rooms clean and comfy, breakfast has a good choice.

Probably the best place to stay in Koblenz. If you get a river-view room you have a fantastic balcony upon which to view the fortress and Rhein river. It’s a one minute walk from the cable car and three minute walk from the old town. If you get here early enough there’s parking. The breakfast is fantastic and the rooms are exactly as advertised: spacious, clean and welcoming.

We arrived just after noon and there where 2 parking places left from the around 15 that the hotel had. So we could park our car for free besides the hotel. The reception lady was very kind and provided the keys to the room. The room was not yet ready (not expected as well) so we left for the city center. That is all close by, as the hotel location is near perfect. Near the Deutsche Ecke, at the Rhine, some nice restaurants and terraces (incl beergarden) within 1-5 mins walking distance. In the afternoon we collected our stuff from the car and went up to our split-2-room room (family of 4). I always like if this is possible, much more cozy with all together but still 2 rooms with a connecting door.The room was clean, looked good, good beds, a bit outdated bathroom but it was sufficient. The rooms where just quite hot but it was 25 degrees and we had the top floor room. No airco but 2 vents in the room helped. We had a good stay, recommended.

Nice Hotel with friendly personnel and great location. Since I travel mostly with my car a parking area is a must have - which because of the location there is only limited space and no reservation is possible. The late check in (after 15:00) might be problematic if you arrive early. The rooms are clean and nice. There is an elevator - however within the same floor there are some stair which may be challenging. There is a TV, small fridge and a safe in the rooms. You can have for few euros a coffee/tea plate for your stay which includes varieties of packed tea, coffee and a small boiler. The whole Hotel is clean and is kept clean. After the breakfast they desinfect the tables properly.

The hotel itself was lovely, in a prime location for the fortress, the old city, and the monument at the point. The view from the hotel was also very nice, positioned right next to the Rhine river. The hotel is very convenient for going up the cable car to the fortress as tickets can be bought at the hotel reception. The rooms were well decorated, spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The room was a little bit hot, however there was a fan. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was a decent temperature. The overall space was incredibly clean. Food was delicious at all meal times. Parking is at a premium, however the owners were more than willing to move their own cars in order for us to park. Overall, and incredible stay

Clean comfy and fantastic location on the river and walk to everything. My life partner Julie and I also thought the breakfast was great, 13€ included water, coffee etc.

A true gem in Koblenz with one of the best views on the Rhein River and 'Festung Ehrenbreiystein", rooms are clean, well designed and offer a free bottle of water. Shower pressure and temperature are perfect. Breakfast offers plenty of healthy choices i.e. jogurts, cereals, nuts, along with traditional cold cuts, cheeses, fresh juices and bottomless coffee and tea choices. New wine bar will offer a new wine tasting experience from initially local wines but not limited to French wines in future selections. Ask the front desk for self guiding wine walking tours through historic Koblenz, or if biking is your thing, from traditional to electric it's all an option. Well insulated windows protect from noise and outside temperatures, aircondition are not offered. Friendly service is their hallmark.
