3
months
for
the
simple
repair
of
a
diamond
ring
=
far
too
long.
Communication
=
a
disaster.
It
was
repaired
without
authorization
-
contrary
to
the
agreement.
The
maximum
cost
amount
was
also
not
met,
i.e.
more
than
agreed
was
settled.
That
is
truly
unreasonable!
Due
to
the
apology
and
new
production
just
2
stars.
IN
DETAIL:
One
of
the
diamonds
surrounding
the
high-quality
ring
had
fallen
out
and
was
originally
intended
to
be
reinstalled
by
the
manufacturer.
We
had
agreed
that.
The
on-site
consultant
initially
assured
the
high
quality
of
the
ring
and
said
that
the
manufacturer
was
even
very
accommodating,
and
they
might
even
repair
the
ring
for
free.
Satisfied,
I
surrendered
the
ring
and
let
myself
into
the
corona-related,
excessive
"expected
6
weeks
processing
time"
(of
course
in
the
hope
that
it
would
go
faster,
since
we
finally
had
the
beginning
of
May
2020
and
at
that
time
there
were
easing
everywhere).
The
friendly
man
said
that
there
would
be
a
maximum
of
100
euros
for
this
repair.
If
the
amount
is
insufficient,
I
will
be
contacted.
So
far
so
good..
And
in
fact
I
was
contacted
after
4
weeks
with
a
pick-up
notification.
I
went
there
with
joy.
Then
everything
became
dubious
and
even
dubious!
The
saleswoman
beamed
and
said
we
have
good
news
for
you!
The
repair
costs
you
only
75
euros
-
we
have
repaired
the
ring
on
site.
I
was
stunned
and
said
okay
and
looked
at
the
ring.
A
shock
-
the
ring
was
completely
disfigured!
The
new
stone
was
crooked
in
the
setting
and
it
was
darker
in
color,
which
you
could
see
from
the
side.
When
asked
about
this,
the
saleswoman
initially
defended
the
botch.
She
said
that
repaired
the
certified
jeweler.
The
stones
would
"sit
perfectly".
I
replied
that
even
as
a
layperson,
I
recognize
this
cheap
repair
and
will
certainly
not
accept
it.
And
besides,
the
agreement
had
clearly
not
been
kept
that
the
ring
would
be
sent
to
the
manufacturer.
So
I
refused
to
accept
it
and
left
the
ring
behind.
At
home
I
wrote
a
complaint
and
initially
positive
and
understanding
feedback
came
from
the
manager
of
the
repair
shops.
This
wanted
to
get
to
the
bottom
of
the
matter.
The
jeweler
then
called
me
personally
a
few
days
later.
She
also
defended
her
"excellent
work",
telling
me
in
a
determined
and
slightly
aggressive
manner
about
her
certificates
and
the
like,
which,
frankly,
was
of
little
interest
to
me
because
of
the
poor
work
result.
In
the
end
I
was
only
able
to
convince
with
perseverance
that
the
ring
had
to
go
back
to
the
manufacturer.
Radio
silence.
Days
and
weeks
pass
again.
I
keep
calling
and
am
sometimes
aggressively
rejected.
The
jeweler
says,
obviously
annoyed,
that
the
ring
should
now
be
manufactured
again.
The
whole
thing
could
take
weeks.
I
suppose.
My
patience
ended
two
weeks
ago,
I
called
again
and
wanted
to
speak
to
the
initially
nice
manager
of
repair
shops.
But
this
only
let
me
know
that
I
should
contact
the
manager
of
the
Frankfurt
branch.
I
did
this
and
at
least
made
a
very
friendly
phone
call
to
the
lady.
She
apologized
for
all
the
circumstances
and
also
promised
me
a
more
specific
pickup
date
for
later
this
week.
And
lo
and
behold!
I
was
allowed
to
pick
up
the
ring
today.
But
now
the
bitter
END:
The
cost
of
the
"repair"
suddenly
came
to
185
euros
instead
of
the
expected
100!
I
heard
this
amount
for
the
first
time
today.
There
was
never
any
more
talk
of
85.
You
can
also
listen
to
the
many
conversations,
I
always
consented
to
the
voice
recording.
Since
I
really
just
didn't
have
the
nerve
for
another
round
and
the
ring
was
finally
made
again,
I
paid
the
amount
and
left
the
branch,
probably
goodbye
...
A
lot
of
trouble,
a
shame.

~3
Monate
für
die
einfache
Reparatur
eines
Diamantringes
=
viel
zu
lange.
Die
Kommunikation
=
ein
Desaster.
Es
wurde
eigenmächtig
repariert
-
entgegen
der
Vereinbarung.
Der
maximale
Kostenbetrag
wurde
auch
nicht
eingehalten,
d.h.
es
wurde
mehr
als
vereinbart
abgerechnet.
Das
ist
wahrlich
unzumutbar!
Aufgrund
der
Entschuldigung
und
Neuanfertigung
gerade
noch
2
Sterne.
IM
EINZELNEN:
Einer
der
umrundenden
Brillanten
des
hochwertigen
Rings
war
herausgefallen
und
sollte
ursprünglich
beim
Hersteller
wiedereingesetzt
werden.
Das
hatten
wir
so
vereinbart.
Der
Berater
vor
Ort
beteuerte
zunächst
die
hohe
Qualität
des
Ringes
und
sagte,
dass
der
Hersteller
sogar
sehr
kulant
sei,
eventuell
würden
sie
den
Ring
sogar
kostenlos
in
Stand
setzen.
Zufrieden
gab
ich
den
Ring
ab
und
ließ
mich
auf
die
Corona
bedingten,
überzogenen
"voraussichtlichen
6
Wochen
Bearbeitungszeit"
ein
(natürlich
in
der
Hoffnung,
es
würde
schneller
gehen,
da
wir
schließlich
Anfang
Mai
2020
hatten
und
zu
dieser
Zeit
überall
Lockerungen
herrschten).
Der
freundliche
Mann
erklärte,
es
würden
maximal
100
Euro
anfallen
für
diese
Reparatur.
Soweit
der
Betrag
nicht
ausreiche,
werde
man
mich
kontaktieren.
Soweit
so
gut..
Und
tatsächlich
kontaktierte
man
mich
bereits
nach
4
Wochen
mit
einer
Abholbenachrichtigung.
Voller
Freude
fuhr
ich
hin.
Dann
wurde
alles
dubios
und
gar
unseriös!
Die
Verkäuferin
strahlte
und
sagte,
wir
haben
gute
Nachrichten
für
Sie!
Die
Reparatur
kostet
Sie
nur
75
Euro
-
wir
haben
den
Ring
nämlich
vor
Ort
repariert.
Verdutzt
sagte
ich
okay
und
sah
mir
den
Ring
an.
Ein
Schock
-
der
Ring
war
komplett
entstellt!
Der
neue
Stein
saß
schief
in
der
Fassung
und
er
hatte
eine
dunklere
Farbe,
was
man
von
der
Seite
aus
sah.
Darauf
angesprochen,
verteidigte
die
Verkäuferin
sogar
zunächst
den
Pfusch.
Sie
sagte,
das
habe
die
zertifizierte
Juwelierin
repariert.
Die
Steine
"säßen
perfekt".
Ich
entgegnete,
dass
selbst
ich
als
Laie
diese
Billigreparatur
erkenne
und
so
sicher
nicht
annehmen
werde.
Und
außerdem
hatte
man
sich
klar
nicht
an
die
Abmachung
gehalten,
dass
der
Ring
zum
Hersteller
versandt
wird.
Ich
verweigerte
also
die
Annahme
und
ließ
den
Ring
zurück.
Zu
Hause
schrieb
ich
eine
Beschwerde
und
es
kam
eine
zunächst
positive
und
verständnisvolle
Rückmeldung
vom
Leiter
der
Reparaturwerkstätten.
Dieser
wollte
der
Sache
auf
den
Grund
gehen.
Daraufhin
rief
mich
einige
Tage
später
die
Juwelierin
höchstpersönlich
an.
Sie
verteidigte
ebenfalls
ihre
"exzellente
Arbeit",
erzählte
mir
bestimmt
und
leicht
aggressiv
von
ihren
Zertifikaten
und
dergleichen,
was
mich
ob
des
schlechten
Arbeitsergebnisses
-
offen
gestanden
-
herzlich
wenig
interessierte.
Schlussendlich
konnte
ich
nur
mit
Beharrlichkeit
überzeugen,
dass
der
Ring
wieder
zum
Hersteller
muss.
Funkstille.
Es
vergehen
wieder
Tage,
Wochen.
Ich
rufe
immer
wieder
an
und
werde
zum
Teil
aggressiv
zurückgewiesen.
Die
Juwelierin
sagt,
offenkundig
verärgert,
dass
der
Ring
nunmehr
neu
hergestellt
werden
müsste.
Das
Ganze
könnte
sich
wiederum
um
Wochen
ziehen.
Ich
nehme
an.
Vor
2
Wochen
endete
meine
Geduld,
ich
rief
wiederum
an
und
wollte
mit
dem
anfangs
netten
Leiter
Reparaturwerkstätten
sprechen.
Dieser
ließ
mir
aber
nur
ausrichten,
dass
ich
mich
bitte
mit
der
Leiterin
der
Frankfurter
Filiale
in
Verbindung
setzen
solle.
Dies
tat
ich
und
führte
zumindest
ein
sehr
freundliches
Telefonat
mit
der
Dame.
Sie
entschuldigte
sich
für
all
die
Umstände
und
sagte
mir
auch
ein
konkreteres
voraussichtliches
Abholdatum
für
Ende
dieser
Woche
zu.
Und
siehe
da!
Ich
durfte
den
Ring
schon
heute
abholen.
Doch
nun
das
bittere
ENDE:
Die
Kosten
für
die
"Reparatur"
beliefen
sich
anstatt
der
erwarteten
100
plötzlich
auf
185
Euro!
Diesen
Betrag
hörte
ich
heute
erstmals.
Es
war
nie
die
Rede
von
85
mehr.
Die
vielen
Gespräche
kann
man
sich
gerne
auch
abhören,
ich
hatte
immer
eingewilligt
zur
Sprachaufzeichnung.
Da
ich
wirklich
einfach
keinen
Nerv
mehr
hatte
auf
eine
weitere
Runde
und
der
Ring
schließlich
neu
hergestellt
wurde,
zahlte
ich
den
Betrag
und
verließ
die
Filiale,
wohl
auf
nimmer
Wiedersehen...
Sehr
viel
Ärger,
sehr
schade.
