Booked all the rooms of the hotel for accommodating my groom's family and team. Such a comfortable stay they had that they have been raving about the hospitality. The management led by a very lovely,smart and jolly lady who happens to be the owner takes care of the guests personally even at odd hours. One can trust her like trusting a family member. Would love to book again and would recommend this place highly. 5 star to cleanliness, staff behavior.

A hotel that lives upto its reputation by actually providing its customers joy. Hotel The City of Joy gets 5 stars from all sides, whether it be the prompt service, the hotel's own food, comfort within rooms or the staff's politeness. I stayed here with my family which consists of 3 people and needless to say, I was very satisfied. The owner herself is an amazing person and so is the staff. It is also quite a budget friendly place and practically a hidden gem. Would totally visit again.

"Excellent hotel. Great service The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious and every morning there’s a different healthy and delicious breakfast ready before I had to leave for work. The people in the reception were very helpful, not just on checkin But throughout the day helping with services and taking care of every single thing. The owner of the hotel is very helpful and friendly.. The way she meets and her behaviour is just amazing towards her guest. She welcomes every person with a very great heart. Thankyou soo much for such a comfortable stay and such a wonderful experience…! ❤️

I had a very nice stay here. I stayed longer than intended as it was the best hotel in Kolkata, in my opinion. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff are courteous and friendly. Breakfast varied every day. They were very accommodating. They allow guests without any issue. The owners were very friendly and helped me so much. Allowed me to stay extra days. I'm a foreigner, and sometimes I have issues with hotels. They made the process so easy for me. My friend was allowed to stay a night with no extra cost. Overall, this hotel is perfect. Hard to find perfect hotels in India, but this was one of them. Had a lovely time. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Kolkata.

Stayed for a week here and staffs are very polite. The property is well maintained and value for money. As a solo lady traveller, this place was safe and enjoyed my staying here. Any time I visit here, I am going to stay here. 😊
