Very unsatisfied Mutton biryani is not recommended. Taste isn't good. Only five small mutton pieces.... not offered egg for portion Not worthy for the money you spend Chicken noodle is useless. . Not tasty.... This was the first and last time 🤮🤮🤮

Ample dining space even during busy times. The service was okay and without doubt the food was delicious. Tried the mutton and chicken biriyanis and they were amazing but the meat content was not satisfactory for the price paid.

I visited here with lots of expectations hoping to have a good time with my loved one. But, the menu was overpriced and was not affordable. The service staff at this place were dumb. Looks like they had recruited some indians. They did not understand Sinhalese or English. They behaved with no common sense.However , the interior and seating facilities are commendable.

I have tried non veg thali from the Thalappakatti Wattala branch. Enough seating capacity for dine in. Ground floor arround 45-50 capacity and there are two more floor also. Very famous for Biriyani and Indian food, I tried Thali and Price also reasonable. it cost Rs 900.00 + 10% service charge (Sep 2023). They will offer you unlimited white rice for lunch thali. Not veg thali consist with chicken, fish and mutton. Very nice and tasty. They took 10 min to prepared our order. Payasam will be the sweet dish. Thay have branches in Sri Lanka (Wattala, Mt lavaniya, Rajagiriya, Kandy). This Indian restaurant having restaurant in India and soon they will open new restaurants UAE and Europe also. Recommended 👍

Located at Wattala (Puttalam Colombo Road). Many Indian dishes are available here. A great place for all those who are looking for Indian food. We had mutton parota kottu, paneer fried rice, paneer tikka masala, gunshot chicken and fruit drinks to drink. There are also types of lassi and milkshakes. Let's have carrot halwa for dessert. Ice cream and gulabjamun are also available for dessert. Prices are also reasonable.

**Disappointing Dining Experience at Wathala, Sri Lanka** I recently visited Dindigul Thalapakatti and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I ordered the signature Thalapakatti biryani and mutton parata kottu, along with lime mint cooler and South Indian buttermilk shake. The biryani portion was insufficient for a child under 12, and to my surprise, the chicken biryani lacked any chicken. Despite bringing this to the staff's attention, they insisted on an excuse rather than acknowledging the mistake. The raita was very bitter instead of creamy and sour. The mutton parata kottu was overwhelming with black pepper, and the portion was insufficient for an average person. The lime mint cooler was overly sweet and lacked any lime flavor. I strongly advise against it. To add to the disappointment, the buttermilk had traces of mint from the same blender used for the lime mint cooler. Furthermore, the service was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. The staff showed a clear lack of customer care and respect, with no one extending a courteous welcome. Despite the poor quality of food, inadequate portions, and hygiene issues, the prices were unreasonably high. Overall, my dining experience was very disappointing + zero customer satisfaction and I strongly not recommend this location.

You can have tamil flavored foods here. We ordered egg rice and chicken rice. One portion is enough for one and served banana leaves with plates to eat. Tasty is good enough and didn't provide spoons I believe it is bcz tamil culture. A plastic flavor was come out of provided soft drink cups. 🥲 The only complain is that the waiters line up infont of front tables. It may happen to find out customer needs easily. But it feels uncomfortable as customers. Next time I went to back tables and felt comfortable. Food experience was great.

Best place for indian foods in Sri Lanka. Limited parking space available, maximum 6-7 vehicles can be parked at once. Good customer service. Delicious foods. There's no wheelchair accessibility.

Food is delicious, we order biriyani mutton and chicken both however the chicken you cannot see any chicken other than a bone and for mutton we only had 4-6 pieces of it and it cost 1790 per person. Although the food was tasty it’s not worthy for a price with no meat when it’s ordered. Plus the food was cold except for the side dishes we ordered. If anyone enjoy the food taste this is a good place. But not worth as they don’t give the expected meal.
