Enjoyed 4 years of my life. Very good experience. Education quality is moderate overall but in a few departments like Chemistry, Food Science and some departments related to medical, educational quality is great. Main campus does not have that beautiful buildings. But the new campus surely has very beautiful buildings and departments. Overall, the institute is very good. The location of the main campus is awsome too. We can almost buy all the things at 10 mints walking distance from the campus. I like gcuf very much!

I had to visit the Government College university today for collecting my degree of MSC Zoology and I gotta say it this was the worst experience of my life. Everything here sucks! The behaviour of clerks or whoever is sitting on those seats for management is so rude, they guys treat the students and anybody else there just like some rich brats used to treat poor people in medieval ages. Firstly they do not bother if sombody is there and never listen and if they eventually listen to you after ages talk to you in extremely odd way. They people drag you so much, you literally have to waste a great amount of your time in their offices but all in vain. They always extend the time and I had to visit the university for like a zillion times. They take a lot of time for degree processing and verification. They are the worst!!! If I talk about other thing such as the environment it is like walking in the hallways of a abandoned and destructed place, very untidy and ill lit places. Even you dont get cellular network signals. Theres an extreme need to talk some serioay manners into the workers.

I am a student of Government college university Faisalabad. It is indeed a good institute. It offers a good deal of disciplines and courses. It has indeed a neat and clean environment. It also contains a mosque in it in which we can prayer our prayers regularly. I often prayer my Jummah Prayer there in GCUF's mosque. The mosque is filled during Friday prayer. It consists of a spacious and good cafe in which students can eat easily. There is a lot of edible stuff is being provided here in GCUF's cafe. You can enjoy Biryani, aluu wala paratha, sandwiches, burgers, finger fries, a lot of cold drinks and snacks, samosas, cream chat, fresh juices and other lot edible stuff. It as both in and out seating settings. It has spacious parking for both students and teachers separately. Many large parks and many libraries. It also has BOP branch in it where students submit there fees.

So, I'm studying here and it's a good place of this kind I mean if you really want to study here and choose a good degree i.e International Relationships, Physics, Mathematics or any of like these you'd never be disappointed by the behavior of teachers and specially the clerical staff. A very wide area for parking.

If you are here to learn, its a good place having good professors. If you are here just 4 degree, you can easily get. But this institute lack in extra circular activities. And mainly its not a good place for girls. Very difficult for them to survive.

Such a stupid university and have stupid department name public administration. CURRENT HOD of public administrative very rude doesnt know how to talk with student and how to support them. HE is showing like god on earth. Doesnt have any rule and regulation. Every department has his own rule and law. No body is supportive

I didn't visit this university personally. Here, many students from all parts of the country study. I cannot say anything about its cleanliness or management. But this university is famous for passing out students without any proper assessment. They just distribute the degrees. Moreover, they are fond of holidays. I think it would be very suffocated from inside. The area covered by it is very small.

I remained a student of F Sc (Premedical) in Govt College Faisalabad from 1990-1992...We studied chemistry from Dr Mahfooz Sb, I also studied chemistry from Sir Tahir Sb (who later on joined GC Faisalabad), I studied Physics from Zahoor Sb...I was student of B Section of FSc-Premedical...Atif Zia was also in B Section...other students of FSc Premdical were Abdul Ghagffar, Muhammad Shahid, Anwar Ahmad, Rashid Mehmood Khan, Muhammad Arif, Muhammad Adress, Asim Shoukat...Bilal Saleem was student of Section H of Pre-Engineering...In the college Canteen we often saw Amir Sher Ali s/o Shair Ali MNA...GC Faisalabad was top in merit after GC Lahore.....Most of the position holders in Faisalabad Board were from GC Faisalabad...Library of GC was state of the art, I studied many books from this library including Science ka irtqa and of Dr Hassan Askari...GC Hockey team won the Hockey match from college team of Sargodha....I am happy on upgradation of my college as GC University Faisalabad....Dr TAHIR AHMAD KHAN Senior Medical Officet DHQ Hospital Faisalabad....

Best place to be educated in FAISALABAD. A great number of students in GCUF complete their education. GCUF is as in FAISALABAD as PU in Punjab.

I thought as it's a reputed university and I have seen good response I would get my sister an admission to this university, but I can't believe that I'll be so disappointed with the way the teachers are with the students, she had a language issue as she doesn't understand Urdu well and had asked special permission for the exam paper to be written in English in advance, but that did not happen and she ended up with a rude response from the teacher and was recommended to drop the course (2 weeks before the final exam) the reason being that " they only listen to teachers and not students" I am astonished by the way the management has handled this situation, this is the service we get when we pay full fees and on time.

Aww its really difficult to explain 6 year of experience at GCUF for studying so for but its really nice place for adventuring your bachelor level and friends hangout a perfect place for remembering in future

It's one of the biggest Universities in Faisalabad. Well Faisalabad don't have much Public Universities. Agriculture and Gcuf are the only big famous universities here. But GC has this edge that it offers a lot of programs while agriculture is limited to only few programs. You can find Almost every program in GC for bachelor's and masters. Moreover unlike agriculture university there is no entry test except for few engineering degrees and Lat for llb. You can get admission here on the basis of your Matric and Intermediate results.
