幸田町にある通称『三河のあじさい寺』と呼ばれている本光寺さんへ時期本番の紫陽花を見に行きました。平日の9時頃にお伺いしたので来訪者はまだまばらでしたが10時を過ぎる頃にはお年寄り方が結構いらっしゃいました。
又、駐車場から本堂までは少しアップダウンの坂になっているので足腰に不安のある方には少し危ないかもしれません。
参道の両脇には、紫陽花が良い間隔で植わっておりしたから見上げる山門は風情があり歴史を感じざるを得ない所が素敵でした。
又、ここは深溝松平家の菩提寺と云う事もあり歴代の当主のお墓も在りました。
拝観料は100円でしたが立派なお墓がいくつも祀られておりそこは時代が止まったかのような所でした。
