If you think this place is cheap because it is located in the night market, well it is not. I paid HKD300 only for these. It’s actually quite expensive. The taste of their food is just okay, nothing really special.

We went at night, it was busy but still room. English menu and pictures everywhere. The menu is vast. The mantis shrimp is the specialty. It was ok. There wasn't much flavor. The clams and razor clams were very good. It's a nice place to people watch.

Good restaurant serving a more traditional HK style food with beer. The menu selection is very large, in both English and Chinese. Specialties are mostly the seafood, well worth a try. Service is very good, and being at a tourist location, the staff attitude is good and caters for visitors. Pricing is a bit more expensive than other similar traditional restaurants like this, but good food overall!

Good place to grab a beer. However I would recommend to eat somewhere else as the price is way too high for the quality of food and facilities they offer. Big plus for the friendly staff.

Order the oyster omelette! So generous with the oyster and fresh and it’s the highlight and start of our dinner here! I can eat that all day long. And even my husband who’s not a huge fan of oyster loved it- it’s says a lot about this dish. Came here as my local friends took us and the dishes are super authentic Cantonese and some touch with chao Zhou infusion. mantis shrimps, salty egg yolk fried shrimp, garlic and vermicelli noodle steam scallops were also great! The fried pigeon was decent but not as crispy as what I’d like it to be. The clay pot rice either, just lack of that little bit to earn that wow moment. Over all highly recommend to check it out if you happen to be around temple night market.

Great place to experience Hong Kong street food. I liked the Japanese clams. Wife liked the mantis shrimps. Both liked the kick of the bamboo infused spirit, Chu Yeh Ching Chiew (竹叢青酒).

The menu was in english and the staff spike better english too, which made it a much easier experience. The food was good and the service very helpful. 🫀 This was my usual place to get pineapple bun with butter and Hong Kong style milk tea. With the pandemic, this was the first time I returned to Hong Kong after 4 years. The pineapple bun and milk tea are good, but I found several other restaurants (Sun Wah, Gold Garden) in Cheung Sha Wan that offer...
