It was second time I have stayed in Cosmic Guest House. I have same feeling about this place: it is cheap, it is small, it has very good location. Room was very small, it hardly fit a bed. Walls are all covered with bathroom tiles, which makes all the moisture to stay on all other materials. In the morning, windows are all covered with fog ;) Rooms are not perfectly cleaned, and my wife did not feel comfortable in bed sheets. There are two separate lifts to 12 Floor , and if you prefer stairs, they are also available ;) I give 3 stars becuse of location, if it was in different place, I would give 1 maybe 2 stars.

This is Hong Kong. Where hotel rooms are the size of your own bathroom at home. It is how it is. But what more do you need then a bed and a toilet, right? But this guesthouse did exceed our expectations. We booked the double bed ensuite, but got the deluxe. The room was extreme efficient. Two small beds, but high. So your backpacks can be put under the beds. There's a flatscreen tv and a little night stand in the middle. The bathroom is small, but also efficient and has everything you need. The room was spot on and everything looked new. In the hallway you can get free hot water to make a cup of tea. Staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Location is convenient too. You can get here easy from the airport by public transport. We took City bus A21 from the airport to get there. And from this hotel it's easy access to other points of interests. WARNING: Ignore the men trying to sell stuff or offering 'to guide' you to the guesthouse though. It might look a bit tricky to find the guesthouse in those enormous buildings. Read the directions carefully on the website. They warn you about not following anyone who claims to be from the hotel. We found the entrance with no problem at all, as mentioned on the site. But a Finish girl before us did listen to those people outside and they just bring you to a different hotel they get commission for. So, we were told later. So, you'll be fine if you just take a second to read the directions :)

Unsanitary. That is the one word to describe their shoe box room. The sheets were never replaced, the room and the bathroom was not cleaned for ages and the owners were rude and are racists.

Rowena is a fine manager, speaks good english too! Very helpful with an eye to make sure that the rooms are spotless clean. The building and entrance to the guesthouse can be challenging but rooms are quiet and clean. The location beats everything!

Where do I begin. The good, okay, and the ugly. The good, it was one of cheapest places I could find for a single room with bathroom during CNY. It was like US$30. It was very conveniently located, MTR station, shopping, restaurants, etc. The okay, the room size. Many people will complain about the room size but it didn’t bother me. I am used to Korean and Japanese business hotels where you don’t have space to open up your suitcase. So if you need space to move around this place isn’t for you. The bathroom is size of a closet. The bad, there were couple of things that bothered me. I had to put a $200 deposit for the room key, so I had to make an extra trip to the ATM and now I have extra HKD which I have no use for. The room was never cleaned except for the trash was taken out everyday. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly. I had to flush the toilet 4x or more. There were roaches crawling in the room, so if that bothers you don’t stay here. I did get some kind of bed bug bites on the bottom of both of my feet in two places. I always had my shoe on my entire trip except in the room. I had the room next to the receptionist so it was noisy until about midnight when most people checked in. There was no towel for taking a shower. If you are guest a friend’s house I would assume they will give you a towel to use. The room definitely needed some work done. PS. One tip is that everyone queues for the main elevator and it has a line of people waiting at night. There is two other elevators for 12/F in different parts of building so use those instead.

Smelt like garlic farts & stinky tofu in the morning; so much that my pores were oily & full of the smell (I don't have oily skin). Bathroom was hard to even get into let alone shower. Dirty shower screen. Bed was okay. Wifi didn't work in the room had to sit in the hall. Would never stay again. Can't remember what room but it was down the hall and in a gated set of rooms. Second last room.

Got the single room,Bathroom was shared but the room used to be a bathroom that they subdivided to make rooms. Room walls were dirty, linens though clean and they provided toiletries and towels which was the only good part. But for the Price I paid there are way better rooms at Mirador Mansion than this. The Lady at front desk was such a sweetheart and so nice the room was dreadful.

Excellent!!! Recommended for travelers who's waiting for another flight or tourists with small budget. All staffs are friendly and helpful. I'll come back and stay here again next time I fly to Hong Kong. Keep your excellent job! I've missed you already. 😊🤗😍

You get what you pay for the price. Close to all tourists spots. Room is tiny but clean. Only good for sleeping and shower. A place to stay if you just need a place to crash and shower.

We booked 1 room with 3 beds for 3 adults and the space is cramped by the beds. Bathroom is also only a small place where the toilet, sink, and shower are installed. Its okay and a pretty cheap rate of a place to leave luggages while roaming and exploring HK. Strong wifi signal and good airconditioning too

Ok... I am giving this place 5 stars... why? It is because it is cheap, clean, close to public transport, has free wifi, the staff are friendly and the aircon works! Yes, the rooms are tiny and it has an aged feel and sometimes you cannot fit in the toilet, but... I mean, you are in Hong Kong people, why do you need a large room - you should never be inside! The building this is situated is old school Hong Kong... stay, enjoy and spend your money on food and beer!

It's in the heart of the city. Very nice place to stay while traveling in Hong Kong. It's near the train station. Walking distance from the ferry station. There are a lot of restaurants and food shops in the area plus a lot of convenience stores as well. There are also a lot of money changers in the area so you won't have a problem if you are already short of your HKDs. Plus you can choose from a wide variety of souvenirs sold just below the building if you don't have the time to go to Mong Kok. Their units though are very compact and just have enough space for sleeping and for you to walk on. Oh well, but you'll just use the units to sleep and not to live there so it doesn't really matter. After all, convenience for traveling is the key. Their elevators are also so small and cannot accommodate so much that's why usually it takes time to wait. If you're not that really picky with your place to sleep then this one is highly recommended.

😠 Completely false advertising. Stayed in a double room that I could lie horizontally across and have my feet and head touching walls. Couldn't even sit on the toilet the bathroom was so small. Can't stand in the shower because the sink is in the way. The bed sheets were covered in stains. The TV does...
