Grouchy take out service but decent place to sit and well foamed cappuccino. They are unprepared at opening / if you come before 8:30, be prepared for people to be cleaning and vacuuming around you

Mango cream cake is fabulous. The self serve area do get full from time to time. But nonetheless a great place to grab a coffee and cake at tea time

Baristas at Cova were attentive and the environment was also good. Unfortunately, some guests at the cafe (self-service) area always left their rubbish behind; other guests therefore had to clear the table if there were no alternatives. Staff at Cova sometimes were busy with their work so no one cleared the tables at all. ☹️☹️☹️☹️

Atmosphere: We sat in the “self-serve seating” area which meant that it was basically Starbucks-type seating and you could buy the takeaway food and drinks and eat them there. It did smell like someone was smoking even though the mall is a no smoking area. Food: The raspberry cake was bitter (like a raspberry would be), and the mango cake was amazingly sweet. The chocolate logo pieces were slightly bitter, but not a lot. Drinks: The orange juice was ok, it was just normal orange juice which was completely fine. The hot chocolate was delicious, was already almost sweet enough for me and so I only needed 1 packet of sugar as opposed to most other stores where I would need 2 or more. Though the hot chocolate isn’t very hot; it was almost lukewarm in 5 minutes.

Good quality in every aspect of dining. The only problem is that there are too few tables in the house. Always fully booked even called days ahead. This time we could walk-in just because we had an early lunch and promised to return table before a quarter to one.

I had semi buffet in there. Delicious main dish and excellent quality of salad bar. Lobster spaghetti is highly recommended.

We go on 25 /12 Xmas day to buy a cake at festival walk shop around 11:30 am . Lazy staff at cake shop . Bad attitude not willing to serve customers. Even the manager is the same attitude. Very bad experience ☹️😡👎

This Cova branch is located on the LG level of Festival Walk and includes their pasticceria for take-away retail purchases as well as a caffe for seated meal, dessert and coffee service. The pasticceria is open from 11am to 8pm daily while the caffe is open from 8.30am to 10pm daily and includes a fair sized interior seating area as well as some open seating in a sectioned off part of the mall just outside the caffe take-away order station. From the caffe take-away counter you order coffee and gelato which you can enjoy while browsing the mall. I like Cova's coffee. 15 years ago, it was the place to go for proper black coffee in Hong Kong. Now with the Third Wave, HK has many independent coffee roasters and artisanal coffee shops around the city so Cova isn't a critical go-to place. However, they still do good, nicely flavoured Italian roast coffee here. I also like their gelato, which you can get at this branch (HK$46 - small, HK$62 - regular & HK$72 - large) served in cone or cup. My favourite is their pistachio, which has creamy, buttery in texture and with a very nutty flavour. It is really good for a mid day treat, particularly on hot summer days.

Decent Italian lunch. But i prefer the buffet style antipasti more than the current arrangement. Average quality with corresponding price tag. Coffee has room for improvement. But if you want a quite place for chatting in festival walk, it's better than most other Western restaurant here in festival walk, as others are mostly rather noisy.
