We have eaten 4 times in the last 5 days here. All the food was very good, but pineapple fried rice sea food and the curries (green, yellow, red) really stand out as delicious, especially together. The sea food in the curries was just right, and not chewy like in other places we've taken soup. The people at the place are really attentive and nice, even if they serve customers non-stop. Totally worth a visit or 2.

Amazing authentic Thai food. Believe the reviews. Very popular so was a bit loud and busy. Staff worked their butts off trying to satisfy everyone. High recommended. Great value. Tamarind Tiger Prawns. Grilled Squid and Seafood red curry were all excellent.

Fantastic traditional Thai venue off the main road. Packed with locals and tourists. The service and atmosphere here is what you want when it comes to having an authentic experience. Staff were warm and welcoming. The seafood was fresh and delightful. Oh and there’s also some sweet restaurant cats just chilling on the floor, weaving in between the tables. Don’t worry they have their own food bowls around the corner so they’re not after your food. Just saying hello.

Best thai seafood ever. I have learned in thailand that these fancy restaurants on main street aren't the best ones. You want experience? Turn in to the small streets and you will be surprised. We were planning to go somewhere else but a friendly guy stopped us and showed us the menu and we decided to give it a try. And didn't disappoint at all. If you are in Ao Nang I suggest to go and try this restaurant.

A gem! Amazing Tom Yum, Lemon fish, and fried rice. Lovely service, and their staff are so kind while their shop is busy and bustling! The free watermelon while you wait for your food is a sweet touch. Don’t miss this place! I’ll be back!

Saw good reviews about this restaurant and made it our first lunch stop after we checked in at our hotel. It wasn’t crowded when we went at around 2pm. Place is small and clean. Ordered pad see ewe (stir fry rice noodles with soy sauce), basil beef rice (we realised pork is not available at this place, probably because it is Muslim friendly) and morning glory. Food was served fast and hot. Taste is decent and price reasonable! Complimentary watermelon slices were served as an appetiser too! Service staff was friendly; English menu is available. Recommended!

Very local authentic Thai cuisine. Lady boss is very friendly and attentive. Very delicious and reasonable price. Dinner time might need to wait to get a table.

Best place to visit in Krabi 👌👌👌. Amazing food, freshly prepared, great service, ambience is great and worth the money. It’s reasonably priced and every portion of food tastes awesome. This is a truly family run business and they look after really well. Go for it and don’t miss this place at all. Highly recommend trying the starters fried squid, prawns, green curry is very tasty, papaya salad 🥗 . Fish cakes are delicious too. Try any dish and you will love it. Highly recommend a visit and try to get there early before 7pm as it gets very crowded after that.

The best masaman curry I ever had in my life. The fish in lemon juice is also very good, but huge. Amazing sticky rice. The portions are so big we had to ask for a takeaway to finish eating later. Amazing papaya salad and really gos prices comparing to the size of dishes.

Must visit! We did a fishing charter in the morning and afternoon and the charter guide recommended we bring the fish we caught here to have it cooked up. It was amazing! All of the fish was cooked in different ways and they were all delicious!

Good place with really good and authentic food! The deep fried chicken is THE BEST 😩 We came here almost every evening during our stay! The owner and staff are also really, really nice. The even gave us mango everyday and a small present before we left, too. So cute! (Also plus points for the cute cats there 🐈)

Summary: Good value and delicious seafood. Secluded area away from crowd. Comfortable beer bottle holders. Friendly and funny waitress. Although it’s located off the main streets, visiting the reataurant was definitely worth it. It was a quieter evening when we visited and we appreciated having a space away from the crowd. The food at Family Seafood was fantastic! We enjoyed the hospitality of the staff, and the shrimp was so humongous and really easy to peel. The food was also very flavourful, and the oyster sauce rice and fried cashew rice balanced it off by providing a lighter touch. The basil leaves duck was something we weren’t too used to. But overall, would love to come back.

I’ve eaten here every day for the last 3 days, I’ve had no reason to visit another restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff friendly. On the first night I ordered a Pad See Ew and Crab Fried Rice. The second night I had a Tom Yum steamboat with mixed seafood. And the third night I had mussels with a Thai and chili sauce. All varied and all delicious!

Very good seafood restaurant. Big portions and fresh products. We took the fish with garlic and squids with curry powder, both delicious. The owner invited us to shots after the dinner. It was crowded so it is better to go with enough time or go for late dinner after 21

Delicious and authentic Thai food. I loved the focus on food from Krabi — the best Thai food in my opinion. Service was great and everyone seemed to work as a team, the place was PACKED. Many people have been recommended this great spot. It was also the only place we’ve been in Thailand where we actually were served spicy food!

Worth the wait! We arrived at around 730 and it was already slammed with a lot of people waiting to be seated. It goes rather fast though and we were seated within 30 minutes. Good menu with an extensive variety of Thai dishes - but you come here for the seafood! The black pepper crab was incredible! So much flavour- hard to eat like most crab dishes but worth getting dirty for! The calamari was excellent too! The fried white snapper was great - pictured is the medium so portions are generous! The only let down was the horse shoe crab salad that just tasted like a papaya salad, couldn’t find much meat in it.

Visited only once but experience in amazing! The food is very good quality, we tried mussels, crabs, prawns and fish. The staff is friendly and helpful, they constantly were asking if we like everything, cleaning full plates and bringing food. Highly recommended.

This was the best food I've had during my two week stay in Southern Thailand. I've returned 3 times to this restaurant because of the excellent food and great service. The prices are affordable and the quality is very high. The seafood is also super fresh. I really recommend to try their slow cooked curries. The lady who works there was also very kind. Next time I would definitely return to this place!

This place offers good food but lacks something special. It probably gained its popularity because the area is filled with typical tourist spots, yet compared to other Thai family restaurants, it doesn't stand out in any particular way. It serves decent dishes. The queue moves fairly quickly, but would I come back again? Probably not.

Ordered pad Thai, pineapple fried rice and chilli basil chicken. The pad Thai was TINY! I know Asian portions tend to be smaller than western sizes but this was just barely a starter size even! Taste wise not bad, but i don’t understand the lengthy queues and busyness when one of the most popular Thai dishes was lacking. The other two dishes were a bit bigger portioned and tasty but not sure if I’d be rushing back.

Great food - super fresh. The staff were all interacting super positively and it really elevated the ambiance of the restaurant. Fresh coconut is one of the best I’ve had in Thailand so far. Curry and grilled squid were great! Mango sticky rice was also good but would recommend asking for less sweetness if you’re not a sweet tooth.

The food here was so great we came for lunch three days in a row! The menu is extensive, the staff are super friendly, and there is a really nice relaxed vibe to the place. There was no one soliciting us to go in, unlike the restaurants in the main strip. The food came out fresh, hot, and tasty. The prices are also very reasonable and the portion sizes are filling. Each table had fans directed at them so it was nice reprieve from the heat. There are also some cute friendly cats! We recommend the stir fried morning glory and the squid with salted egg sauce. Both were so good, we got them all three times we went!

Fresh and tasty seafood were available here at a reasonable price. This place offered great ambiance. We enjoyed nice views and gentle breeze. All seafood dishes were perfectly cooked especially salted egg yolk squid. I had tried this menu from several restaurants, but this squid dish here was by far the best. I will definitely come back here again. Highly recommended.

Amazing Thai food, all freshly cooked on the spot (therefore possible to ask not spicy for kids) 100m away from touristic restaurants from the main street. Busy every evening.

Very delicious food. We ate in this restaurant several times when we were in Ao nang. The big portions and tasty dishes. Also we haven’t expected such low prices. Thank you!

When you see people waiting in line, in the rain... You get in line! Everyone I met in the line or restaurant was having their 2,3 or 4th meal in a row here! That says a lot. It was the best restaurant in the area for real and relatively cheap Thai food! I had to go back the next night!

If I could give this spot 10 stars, I would! The best meal I had during my month in Thailand. Incredible spicy and fragrant fish, herbaceous crispy goodness. The food comes out with the quickness. The coconut shake is SCRUMPTIOUS.

A restaurant with local Thai food, a huge selection of fish, crabs and seafood in general. The restaurant is away from the noisy main road, the atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, definitely to recommend.

Definitely is a family restaurant with cats relaxing around too 😅. I ordered the pineapple fried rice, the clams with Thai herbs and the cheesy baked scallops. They were all pretty delicious. The fried rice had great flavor.

Amazing food! Quick and pretty cheap! It does get busy fast so you may have to wait. Portions are good size and we’re British (I’ve seen others comment on small portions but it’s not the case)
