Bad attitude miserable unfriendly welcome to gillhams. Look forward for months and pay all that money to be greeted with unprofessional welcome and service. Ether they have got to big for their boots or just seen it to many times every day. You don’t welcome and treat people like that! To top it all off they is a rod scam, guide will say he will put a third rod out as it’s quite for a couple of hours. Another guide will see it and give the nod to the miserable management and he will stick 2500 baht on your bill without even telling you. Please always check your bill as I had a few other phantom things on there from drink to food. Give them the slightest chance they will bump your bill up. As for the fishing and resort con not fault it. But was a little spoilt thanks to the greed Cheers

Had a great week fishing -the guides are helpful to get you on the fish. It was a hard week but we had several species and three fish over 100lbs. Gardens are beautiful and the swimming pools and spa are a bonus. We did the cookery school which was fun and the food was delicious.

Amazing place and already planning our next trip out. You won’t be disappointed, some of the best fishing in the world. Food is lovely and all staff are so kind and helpful. We loved the feeling of how everyone was family. The fishing guides were fantastic. Thank you James and Sean for ensuring my husband had the best birthday holiday ever. We look forward to seeing everyone again in a couple years time.

Great place absolutely loved my time here and will be returning soon , myself and my friend are novice anglers and the help and support from all the staff was excellent from the kitchen to the lakes .all were very helpful

This place is so cool! The property itself is like something out of a movie, it’s very beautiful! The fishing is too much fun and getting to catch these monster fish and seeing other people around you catch them also creates a feel of community while you’re there. It’s an honor they let everyday people fish this amazing lake. The fishing guides were knowledgeable about everything and made sure you were set up and didn’t need anything at any point. The rest of the staff was amazing as well! Every person was so nice and welcoming. The food was also fantastic! I definitely recommend staying a week at least because you won’t want to leave! Side note, don’t forget to check out the small top lake, we had a load of fun there also! We will definitely be back!

Very nice facility and very clean.

My first time here and my first monster lake experience. Beautiful lake, lovely accommodation and great service. Breakfast was served by the lake , as was lunch - they came round and took our orders. Fishing rods and reels provided along with bait and a guide to help. Advice and help given according to your experience. Highly recommended and definitely will go again.

An Anglers Dream destination. I was lucky to come face to face with an 84lb Giant Siamese Carp and an 48lb Amazonian Red Tail catfish. These predators are mean and will leave you sweating in a matter of seconds. The tug of war lasted 25 minutes with the Carp and the adrenaline rush is unexplainable but the reward to hold this huge creature in your hands is incredible. The resort is 'One of a kind'.

Fantastic fishing resort, if you want to catch the biggest fresh water fish in the world here is the place, after two days of fishing i was more than satisfied, the fishing guide Cris helped me to catch the fish i wanted to catch, Siamese carp, Arapamia, Asian catfish and Amazon red tail catfish, a very beautiful resort around the lake, the bungalow was nice and very clean, the restaurant location in the beginning of the lake served fresh and well tasted Thaifood and international, thank you very much Gullhams for a nice weekend 🙏

What a fantastic place. Spent 2 weeks here in one of the bungalows, fantastic views spotlessly clean and chance to catch the fish of a lifetime. Staff all very friendly and helpful.Already saving up to go again next year can't wait

Fantastic place, trip of a life time, amazing views, stunning fish and a really friendly family atmosphere. Lots to do if you dont want to fish, food is 5 star and staff are really friendly and helpful. My 2nd time here and booking my 3rd trip.

Great fishing resort! Sure to catch something..rooms clean beautiful scenery great food English and Thai food..2 swimming pools.. And spa at extra cost with treatments. Jamie's st pure bliss :)

Spent a week there and loved it. The guides Bud, Dan, Ollie and Bel were all great. Fishing was slow the week we were there and we finished with 11 fish between the 2 of us but what fish they were. I'm desperate to go back now. Apartments were nice as was the restaurant. My only gripe is that a week isn't long enough there. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

only fished for one day and smashed it!! my 15 year old daughter had two Siamese 75lb and 78lb, I had seven upto 95lb smallest 78lb. 2 pacu up to 40lb as a bonus. What a magical place and experience December 2021

As it says in the title, a fishing resort. Probably one of the best in the world. Catch and release , from a few kilos to 100 k. Very decent restaurant overlooking the lake.

Where do I start. There was no hot water for 4 days then on and off throughout are stay. I got food poisoning after having an omelette and the manager said I had probably been drinking the tap water! The food and drink is expensive it's cheaper to get a taxi to local town and eat out which is half hour away! The two tha staff Aid an Noon as I understood run the place if they wasn't around we wouldn't get served I give them 5* and need more appreciation. The restaurant is the only place i got bit by mosquitos because they keep the windows open and not the aircon you see frogs an lizards running around not a good place to eat. As for the fishing it was terrible I caught 5 fish in 13 days and this is not because a cannot fish but you are not aloud to fish without a (guide) doing it for you. The guides say they do not want you to ruin the already ruined equipment because the better equipment is saved for the day Fishers. My advice is do not stay here to fish there are plenty of decent fishing places local where you can catch alot more fish. If i was to ever come again I would do a day fish but then again i seen people pay £200 and not catch 1 fish. So maybe its just luck!!!!!

Had two days at gillhams found all staff especially little Dan to be very friendly and very helpful I had a fantastic time with five fish the biggest being a 45 pound red tail cat I would highly recommend Gillhams a fishery and will definitely be going back in the next couple of years

BEWARE WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY! Really disappointed with gilihams lack of understanding and compassion during these new Thailand covid restrictions. Unfortunately, due to Thailand's cancellation of the test and go scheme, and reintroducing 14 day hotel quarantine it has made the holiday impossible. Gilihams are not willing to change the dates and will be keeping the money, total scam!

Spent a fantastic five days at the Resort, catching 14 Siamese Carp of which 3 where over 100lbs best 150lbs, 8 Redtail Catfish, best 70lbs plus 5 other different species. Guides excellent and very knowledgeable, food great and comfortable accommodation with friendly serving staff,can't recommend the place highly enough.
