Absolutely stunning hotel. Kinda confusing the first time traveling through the buildings because there is 3 to the top, but once you figure it out, getting to the top where the pool is, the view is spectacular! Breakfast was amazing and worth getting up for. Highly recommend!

We LOVED this place. May have been our top hotel on our Thailand trip. Views were stunning and the location was perfect. Tucked away enough to get away from the street/night life, but could walk right out the doors below and end up right in it. Just beware, there are a lot of stairs! But worth it for those views.

This resort offers an amazing experience. The breakfast is really good with a wide variety of dishes, including vegetarian options for Indian guests. The rooms are clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering a great view. You'll find all the amenities you need in your room. The swimming pool is fantastic, especially for kids. The resort is conveniently located near the main road, and the staff is extremely helpful. They have a modern gym and a pool table for your enjoyment. In short, this resort is perfect for your vacation.

My room comes with a bathtub outside on the balcony. Really cozy when having a nice bath boom in the afternoon. Some rooms didn't have the bathtub, so you need to check with the hotel. You can bring your own bath boom. The hotel got sell too but it cost 289baht for one bath boom. A bit expensive but yet love the feel when having a me time there❤️

I had a great experience at this hotel! It is such a great place to stay. The staff is super helpful. I ended up staying extra nights because my husband and I loved the area and the staff was able to help me accommodate with this change. The hotel has great amenities - nice rainfall shower, housekeeping every day, water bottles provided every day, good breakfast, beautiful views, and an amazing central location that makes pretty much everything walkable. I would highly recommend staying here!

This is an exceptional resort to get away from the bustle of the main street! Rooms are modern with excellent bathroom (nice soaps and creams). The view is spectacular and there are two pool areas. I would go back and definitely recommend!

My first time in Thailand so not too many other hotels I can compare against, but by North American standards it was a fantastic stay. Everything was clean and fresh, it felt modern and chic, and the infinity pool to relax in after a hot day was to die for. Also close to a lot of shopping and bars/clubs.

It's our first time to Krabi and booking this resort is the one of the best decisions we made. Location is very very conveniently situated along the main road, accessible to restaurants, massage parlours and dive shops. It's also a short distance walk to the beach and pier for easy transport to other islands. Daily breakfast is decent, with some variety over the days. Overall, excellent stay!

We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and were very impressed. The hotel was clean with great facilities and location, our room was spacious, comfortable and cleaned to a very high standard, and the pools were great for relaxing. The breakfast was good with lots of choice, although myself and my husband are both vegan and for our first breakfast I asked a member of staff what I could eat to which she showed me, then the next day another member of staff advised me a lot of what the woman said was vegan, wasn't actually vegan and contained milk so be careful if you have allergens. Overall a great stay

Excellent resort. Infinity pool, the staff were understanding helpful and responsive. Especially Loy (Hassan), he was pretty good in English and ensured nothing goes wrong. There was someone at the reception 24/7 and you could make any requests and they would cater to it. The food was good. They also arranged for decorating the room and for a cake, for our friends birthday.

We stayed for a week for Sandbox at Avani Aonang Cliff Resort and could not recommend it enough. All the staff from front desk, restaurant, spa and cleaning were friendly and helpful. We were quite nervous about COVID safety because of the rise of omicron cases but we felt really safe at Avani. On the days we had breakfast buffet, the staff made sure everyone was wearing masks while getting food. Room: Well maintained and clean. Comfortable and spacious. The balcony tub has cold water and was refreshing to dip in when we were stuck in our hotel room waiting for the results of our Covid test. Pictures of the room matched the quality of our room. Pool: Roof pool had a stunning view and was often empty. More beautiful than the view of the beach side resorts in aonang. Food: Combination of Thai and western dishes though we mainly had Thai food which was all very tasty. Breakfast was good. When the hotel was more busy, it was a buffet style, but when there were less guests it was by order. Though you could order the same things as the buffet menu. For Chinese New Year the chef created a beautiful and delicious seafood meal. A great selection of quality seafood and just 888 baht for the two of us. Although there are cheaper alternatives around the hotel, the quality of the food and the sunset view of the poolside restaurant are definitely worth your money. If there are special menus when you are staying, highly recommend you try it! Spa: Did two messages during my stay and I highly recommend it. They served a refreshing drink before and a nice tea after. Felt so relaxed during my massage and it was clean, safe and sanitary as well. Location: Super convenient. The main part of the hotel is further up the hill but all connected by elevator. You can take an elevator to the street level which is great. Easy walk to restaurants, beach, and shops. You have the convenience of being so central in Ap Nang, but coming back into the resort area you feel removed as well. Only con: The bars on the streets blast loud music which we could hear from our room some of the nights (Thursday and weekend). We just wore earplugs to sleep so it wasn’t an issue. It’s not super loud but mildly annoying. No regrets with our choice of hotel. Would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to Ao Nang.

Awesome resort. Great location, mc Donald’s, 711, Starbucks and clubs down an elevator ride! Two pools, one by reception and one infinity pool. Great bar and happy hour next to the infinity. Food service kinda took long tho. Breakfast and dinner was great. Room service pork belly was hot and fresh. Downside was the amount of different buildings and stairs.

Beautiful! Great location. We loved our stay so much, we stayed three more nights. Ging at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and worked with us to ensure we enjoyed our stay and helped us with our booking. If she does not have a raise, she deserves one! She is the reason we stayed another three days. Also, the ladies at the spa were incredible. I would stay again!

I stayed here for 3 nights with my family and I could say this is the best hotel I ever stayed. 5 mins walk from the beach .. Excellent service, fantastic breakfast with multi cuisine options. Very polite and helpful staff. Room size is very big and the best part is the mountain and sea view from balcony and cherry on the top, there was bathtub in the balcony.. it was simply magical ! We enjoyed every moment in this place.. thank you for the hospitality .. keep doing the great work and for our every visit to Krabi, I will only choose you.

Amazing property, very well laid out rooms with stunning views. The sea facing rooms are completely worth the additional price. Service was lacking and they seemed to be short staffed at times. Many group bookings here, so as an individual booking we weren’t catered to promptly. I’d recommend booking this property for its rooms, views, and location.

Simply Amazing! It has excellent location that is convenient and great view of sea, hills, and city. View from pool is Wow! Staff in all shifts are friendly and taking care of all of your needs. Their service was good. We enjoyed walking around the property while going to our room but buggies were available all the time we needed. My kids also liked the playstation.

Great resort in a perfect central location which is everything you need is within walking distance. Incredible experience! Stay here! Great for families, solo travelers, and couples. The infinity pool and view is out of this world. Breakfast each morning has amazing selection, and plenty of food to chose from each day. Everyone was friendly and the rooms. Super modern!

Great resort. Had a large breakfast with many options. It is located in the middle of Ao Nang so it was easy to go anywhere. The bars and breakfast levels have amazing views. The spa was also very good with excellent staff. The resort staff were extremely accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely go there again.

Clean and functional room with a nice, hard bed, a fridge and a balcony. Breakfast will work for most people. The gym quite useless. The staff very attentive. Location is central but, on the other hand, the village is small why hotel location is of less importance. Nice though, that the rooms are quite far from the intensively trafficked main street.

I like swimming at this place, and it's easy to see why with its beautiful and spacious swimming pool. I've stayed here multiple times, mainly due to my Discovery membership and the great deals they offer, especially with lunch included, which is a fantastic option for local Thai residents like us. The rooms are generally clean, but they might be starting to show signs of aging and some room smells. However, it's still an overall okay experience. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. The location is convenient, allowing for an easy walk to the beach, albeit with a few elevator rides. One suggestion I have is to provide a sunshade for the parking lot, as it would be beneficial for Phuket residents who drive electric cars to prevent their batteries from overheating. This is a minor addition that a 5-star hotel could consider. In the end, we plan to return because we genuinely enjoy the swimming pool and the overall experience.

The hotel Location is excellent; you’ll get a fantastic view from the Swimming pool. But the service is not up to the mark; such as, we visited in the rainy season, and they gave us a broken umbrella for two people after we asked (where we got two umbrellas From all the other hotels we visited). Also, the staff is not helpful at all; they will greet you and smile at you, but they won't always come to help you. The bottom line is, you will get much much better service at cheaper rate on other hotels. Happy traveling!

Great rooms, amazing infinity pool. The balconies overlook the sea and the cliffs. Loved the overall experience of staying at this resort. Also, it is situated in a prime area full of cafes, pubs, shopping centres and is a 10 minute walk from the beach. Perfect place to stay in Krabi.

We got a really good price during high season, 1,500 baht a night for a superior seaview room, located on 8th floor which is almost the highest. The view from the room is splendid. The room itself is also rather spacious and well maintained, had a pleasant stay. Facilities are pretty good, cannot think they are missing anything. Breakfast was decent. Dinner was ok, reasonable pricing. Will definitely come back here if there’s a good deal again.

Stunning panoramic view. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is clean, beautiful and comfortable. Just at the time that we stay rooftop bar is closed.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The rooftop infinity pool was amazing with fantastic views. Parts of the room felt a little old a dusty. We did spot a few cob webs on the ceiling in the bathroom and annoyingly our bed was on wheels but kept moving away from the headboard when we got in.

This resort was Amazing! The location, the staff, the facilities were all 5 star! I recommend upgrading to the sea view room at least because the views here are truly stunning 😍 and the breakfast buffet was so delicious! thank you Avani Ao Nang staff for all your help. I will stay again next time in Krabi.

The view 🌅 😍. Probably the best view overlooking Ao Nang you will ever see. This alone will drive you to swim everyday. While the hotel is Cliff side the lift system makes it easy to get street level, then a short walk to the beach and local bars. Staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate.

Excellent location in case you plan to explore Ao Nang. I didn’t take pictures of the rooms but it was exactly as on the hotel website and it was very clean. I can confirm that the bed was very comfy. However, some furniture such as the toilet seat may need a replacement. Every hotel staff I met from front desk, the bellboy to the housekeeper were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast choice is limited and some foreign guests did not wear a mask when getting food. Overall, I’m quite satisified with my stay here.

My friend and I loved it so much that we chose to extend our stay! Truly lovely and helpful staff, very clean thanks to wonderful housekeepers. We loved the pool, the proximity to the beach, and the fact that it is right off the main road but still very quiet and peaceful. The spa is also very nice. There is a tourism info stand in the lobby to help accommodate your every need. We will certainly be coming here again!

My husband and I came for our honeymoon and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was so friendly and attentive to our needs. My husband surprised me with the honeymoon package and the staff did an amazing job decorating our room with roses and wine. The hotel is also very clean and the food was good. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of staying in Krabi. The location was perfect and nearby all the restaurants and shopping area.

This hotel had a gorgeous view for breakfast and there evening bar is a great place to watch the sunset. The drinks at the bar are amazing too. The walk to the beach is less than a 10min walk. The only issue we had was our first night at the hotel we were placed in a room facing the main road. The main road was extremely loud making it difficult to sleep. The next morning we talked to the front desk and they where able to move us to another room free of charge. Over all I would definitely stay here again.

What was good: Room was large with a large balcony and a tub in the balcony. It certainly exceeded our expectations. Facilities are all excellent, especially the sea view infinity pool. The property is centrally located, and very close to all of Ao Nang's popular restaurants. There is even a McDonald's on the property if you want a quick fix. What was not good: The staff behaviour in the breakfast restaurant was rude. It was not one-off but everybody seemed to be the same. There were lots of 'you are not allowed to take the fruit outside', 'why did you take this plate, it's not for this', 'this cup is only for milk and not for coffee'. They treat you like they are your parents. :(

Great location and fabulous views across the bay and cliffs. Top pool service fantastic. General service and ground floor floor service average. Breakfast poor, food choice very average, cold food throughout.and trying to order an egg is comical.

My husband and I enjoyed 3 wonderful nights at Avani. The pool is amazing, beautiful views of the Krabi cliffs and ocean. The staff were all so friendly and always lovely to us. On our last day, we checked out at 8am, went for a dive, came back to the hotel in the afternoon and asked if we could use the pool shower to freshen up. The staff got us an empty room and let us have a proper shower instead, what a lovely and unexpected gesture! Thanks for the stay!

Stayed here for three nights, lovely and spacious room. Great location within walking distance to the beach, with many good food options around. There are also two pools, one with an excellent view over the mountains and sea. The breakfast is also good with different side dishes each day and an excellent view in the morning! The only minor downside to the hotel is that the configuration to access the pools can be a little confusing (need to change lift twice) and the area is not sheltered so there’s a possibility of getting wet in the rain when travelling from another building.

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely resort. The room was large and clean. Service staff was warm and excellent, there was even a flower arrangement on the bed to wish me happy birthday with a complimentary mango sticky rice (not on the bed). Stunning views from the Infinity pool. Location of hotel was very central, just off the main street and easy access to many restaurants. Did not manage to catch everyone's name, but would like to compliment lady at reception, An, Loy and the other guy who helped us with our bags and drove us up in the buggy on a daily basis!

This was our stay place for 2 nights 3 days, 1 of the most beautiful resort I have ever stayed in. The hospitality was amazing, management was extremely sweet and well spoken. They took care of everything, beautiful ambience, great complimentary breakfast, spacious rooms and loads of greenery. The highlight was INFINITY POOL-this was very mindfully made to enjoy the view of the sea and mountain cliffs, best place to stay in krabi if you are looking for leisure stay. Great Job Team.

+ really really friendly staff, amazing breakfast (soup, fresh fruits, salad bar, ...), rooms are spacious, pools are nice, big resort with nice view and plants, fitness room, near to the beach and shops, has variety of rooms, cheap for the comfort, water in glas bottles, umbrellas - first nights were really noisy due to the street and bars, sheets had stains, buildings do need some maintenance on some spots, in the gym a lot of the equipment didn't work/out of order We did get an upgrade after we checked in with the reception about our room situation- so helpful and competent staff! All in all, 10/10 would recommend and totally stay with them again!

Had an amazing stay here! Staff are all really helpful and courteous - they even helped when we got stuck at Emerald Pool by getting a driver to fetch us. Hotel room, towels, bedsheets are all really clean - the tub at the balcony is cherry on top really. Pool and rooftop views are gorgeous. Location is great and right smack in between the beach and the mosque at Muslim street, with all the good food and souvenir shops within close vicinity. I’d highly recommend!
