When i go to Krabi Town i usually stay here as it's affordable, central located and the family that runs this place is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms, decor and equipment is a bit dated but the price is for that also really affordable considered that most rooms come with a own balcony, private bathroom and TV. Besides that it's just 5 min walk to the beach, river and night market. A 7 Eleven, some Cafés, Restaurants, Massage Shops and cannabis stores are basically just next door.

There could have been much better around this area with same price. The owner is not friendly. Also, not much socket in the room. Old basic one. No elevator and the building is up till 5th. We stayed for one night in a fan room for 360baht.

Very unpleasant staff, very rude, unpolite. Talk very badly to us with no respect but he may be in his own world, I think he doesn’t understand how bad he is. Rooms are hot, only one socket , bed and fan are noisy, everything looks old but please , just walk around like 3 mn you’ll find plenty of better deal. Don’t make this kind of guys make money they don’t deserve it at all, they just don’t respect us because we re tourist

Very nice people. Best coffee / tea we had since we are in Thailand. Good location. They sell tickets for ferry to Ko Lanta (400thb), perfect ! Very funny and welcoming guy !

The place is very simple but the staff is very polite and kind, so for me was enough. You can rent a motorbike daily.

It is clean room, toilet and good bed and friendly stuff.

For the price you wont find anywhere better in krabi town. The owners are friendly and helpful. The location is good its within walking distance to any place of interest in krabi. The owner can arrange tours and will more than likely give you a better deal than anywhere else. My wife and i stayed there for almost 2 months, being lazy and just hanging out. We had a great time and this hostel experience was part of it.

It’s not new but for the price is very good! Everything you could need.

Baifern Mansion is a cracking family run guesthouse, tucked just behind the city hall and a 5 minute walk from some of towns best restaurants. The rooms are all bright, airy and clean with choices of AC or Fan rooms depending on ones budget. We opted for a fan room for a mear 500 Baht a night. A stay at Baifern includes breakfast, which takes the form of 2 fried eggs and 2 slices of toast us unlimited coffee, a great saving when travelling. The family who run it are very accomodating, although they were not overly impressed we did not use them to book our onward bus journey, but one does need to shop around when on a budget. A great find, well worth a stay.
