Best place we stayed in on our month trip through Thailand. Nice and kind English speaking staff, well equiped and clean room, pool that was in center of area, right next to it bar where you could order drinks or food. Beach was in a walking distance of about 20 minutes or there was a free shuttle from the hotel in specific times. Cannot recommend enough as we have only good memories from this place

It's clean and nice design. We went to the wrong date from booking but they find the room for us!! Thankfully. πŸ™πŸ™ The location little far from the town but they had shuttle car service. Breakfast is good. I like it 😊.

This hotel was a nice surprise for us because it looks even better in reality! Being surrounded by nature, you feel you are in a jungle... we enjoyed Phu Pha Resort very much as everything here was perfect for us! We liked the cozy wooden room, the bed, the small but good quality breakfast buffet (I must mention they had mango at breakfast, really big win for me). We had a lovely view to the pool and the mountains from the balcony and everything was functional and in good shape. The staff was great and the room always clean. The swimming pool was a delight, surrounded by tropical trees and with outstanding views, a true oasis of peace and calm. We used a few times the free shuttle service to the city (Ao Nang beach), it was a nice plus as a service. We will always recommend this hotel because we appreciated it to the tiniest details that made our stay here just perfect! Thank you!

Our room was very cool. It was all wood with a little balcony. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice pool. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Close enough to walk to beach but we rented a moped to get around. Definitely recommend staying here.

Very cute hotel.. Perfect for a laid back vacation....The whole compound is full of vegetation with wooden cottages in between them....So if you are a nature lover it's a good place to stay. Nice and clean pool. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable and cozy. The only downside was the food. Buffet breakfast has an amazing assortment of food but the pool bar menu doesn't have much to offer. Although that is hardly a problem since the market Street is just walking distance with plenty of food options for all tourists

Wow! Just wow! I have stayed in many places in Thailand and this one stands out. Without a doubt 5 stars! Nature all around, pool in the center and the room r a mix of European Thai style. It’s not a modern style hotel it’s a nature lovers hotel! I felt like Swiss family robinson. I recommend for nature lovers and couples

We had a really big room for our 1 week stay. The view from the room is really amazing. It was always clean. The service was good. The interior however feels pretty dated. The lighting is really dim, especially in the bathroom. The shuttle service to the beach was not really useful for us, as it only departs 1 time in the morning at 11 am and like 4 more times during the evening.

The whole place felt very zen. Cottage feeling being quiet and remote, I absolutely needed the peace and quiet. It was raining the entire 3 days, so it felt like we would be in a rainforest. I'm glad we booked the upper room, because all the windows are facing the pool in the middle, so no privacy at the floor level rooms unless you keep the curtains closed. The gym wasn't actually a gym, just a small room with very dated stuff. Same thing with the sauna. Room had very dim lighting and the bed was very hard, everything else was great. Good AC and nice water pressure in the shower. Food wasn't really worth the money, but we ate there anyway because of the constant rain. Staff was always very friendly and cheerful. All in all a good stay 😊

Nice hotel, a little bit out the way (10min walk to town) staff all nice, room clean the air con spat ice cubes out at one point haha, nice pool quiet tranquil surroundings with back drop of rock cliffs :) Laundry service good. Toilet flush takes long time. I must ask why was someone placed in room above us (bit noisy) when there was maybe 10 guests and at least 50 rooms? Spread out man!

Lovely place. I was lucky enough to come here in low season and practically had the place to myself and partner. The pool had a Jacuzzi, breakfast was good and the surroundings were lush tropical jungle. The staff were very accommodating with arranging the free shuttle to and from the seafront. The room are slightly musty at first but this is due to the climate and the all hardwood interior. The bathroom was a wet room / open adjoining shower and was very clean. The laundry service was quick and cheap but a few items did come back not totally clean - good for a freshen up however.

I booked deluxe double ground floor room, and it was great. Lovely wooden panelling, nice bath, nice balcony with view of the garden, pool is clean and refreshing. Breakfast was very good. The only bad things are the bed is a bit hard, the internet ocassionally stopped, and the air conditioning was acting strangely at times. Enjoyed my time here during off peak season.

A bit of a walk into Krabi so got a tuck tuck everytime. But the hotel itself was really good with good service and lovely rooms

Very quiet and peaceful place. Good for relaxation and enough far from all the noise from the main street. On 20 minutes from the beach, but the resort offers shuttle bus from the resort to the beach and other way around. Only negative part is that the light in the room is poor and there is a specific smell of old wood.

Magical setting in a hidden tropical setting. Very clean resort and staff super friendly. Although not far from the beach, many taxis and tuk tuks had difficulty getting there.

Nice bungalows in a jungle-like setting! We loved our 2F twin bungalow. The pool was nice. Staff was nice 80% of the time. Overall I would recommend it! The breakfast was the best we had in our 3 weeks journey. It's more of 4.5 star They have scooter for 250 bath which is 50 bath more than on the street but it's convenient.

I have stayed at Phu Pha Aonang Resort & Spa for a few days, and absolutely loved it. This is a small relaxing resort with wooden houses spread out around the swimming-pool, in a beautiful tropical garden setting, with a special vibe. The whole staff (reception, breakfast, pool bar, housekeeping) is very friendly and always ready to help, even if communication can be a little difficult at times - I wish I could speak more thai! I stayed in a superior room on the upper floor, which I really liked. It was very similar to the pictures I saw online. Bottles of water and coffee/tea are provided in the room, for free, everyday. I enjoyed working or just sitting on the balcony, surrounded by tropical trees and plants. Breakfast is good. It is a buffet with eggs, fresh fruits & vegetables, ham/sausages, rice, noodles, yogurts, bread, etc. and at 150 bahts, it is of good value compared to the restaurants in Ao Nang. While the basics stay the same, a little something new was offered everyday during my stay (French toasts, brownies, pastries, etc.). I honestly do not understand some of the bad comments I read: the rooms are nice, I didn't notice amy bad smell. The place is not super modern, but it is what makes it so charming. It may be important to keep in mind that standards in Thailand are different than in the West, including regarding cleanliness. A free shuttle to the beach is available 5 times a day, but it is only a 20 minute walk if you would like to go at other times. I have been traveling in the country for a month, and this is my preferred place so far.

The best accommodation we stayed in throughout our trip through Southeast Asia. Staff very friendly and professional. They helped and advised us on everything. Magical place surrounded by nature with mountains in the background. Perfect for people who want to disconnect and two streets from the center of Ao Nang. It seems taken from another world. We went for two nights and stayed for ten. A spectacular and unforgettable place. Thanks for everything family! Albert&Mireia from Spain

Very nice place to stay in Ao Nang. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Rooms with TV, air conditioning and nice view. The only thing is that rooms a little smelly, but overall everything was great!

The place was made up quite nicely, the rooms were pretty clean as well as the pool and friendly stuff. How ever had some struggle with rats inside the walls (maybe due to the fact that it's wood in cabins in a forest) which was hard to talk about at the reception since no one there is talking englisch in more then 3 words. Even got asked, if we don't know how to speak Thai. How ever friendly stuff in the end and they also provided a free shuttle to the beach which was nice. We stayed there in september which probably isn't the main reason so the pool bar was closes as well as the gym and sauna. So if you looking for this in particular maybe give them a shot before if everything is open and running.

Excellent housekeeping, staff was very helpful. Very basic breakfast, not worth it in my opinion when you have a huge variety of stores close.

Great location, if you can rent a bike. Quite jungle place in two minutes from the center. Helpful stuff. Nice pool.
