Very interesting museum presented by a very nice and passionate geologist. He likes to take the time to present special exhibits, such as Mars and Moon meteorites.

The owner was amazing and spoke very good English, gave me a guidebook for the Polish information and a private tour for the temporary exhibition. He was very lovely and the place was amazing. One of my favourite places on my visit and only 4zł for adult entry, 3zł for students. Fantastic!

(Translated by Google) A very interesting place. The museum is small, it occupies one large room, but the "exhibits" are really beautiful and worth seeing. And some of them can be picked up, which is rare. Inexpensive tickets for 4 and 3 PLN. If you're in the area, it's worth a look. Greetings to a nice and helpful gentleman whom we had the pleasure to meet on the day of our visit :) (Original) Bardzo ciekawe miejsce. Pozdrawiamy miłego i pomocnego pana którego mieliśmy przyjemność poznać w dniu naszej wizyty :)

Really impressed with this museum! Mr Michał Banaś who runs this place is a true enthusiast of geology, spreading his knowledge in a very friendly manner. This place is great for people interested in the geology of the Kraków region, geology of Poland and meteorites. You can find some very unique specimens and have a look at rocks under the petrological microscope. I've been to many geology museums but this one is something more. I recommend it for both kids and adults!

Small but interesting museum. Tickets are inexpensive and you can visit for free on the last Saturday of the month. Here you can see minerals and ancient fossils, and a museum worker will show samples from the Moon and Mars and various meteorites under a microscope.

We recently visited a small geological museum and I must say that we were thoroughly impressed with the collection of minerals and rocks on display. What made the experience even more enjoyable was our guide, who was a true devotee to the subject matter. Their passion and knowledge shone through as they shared fascinating facts and stories about the rocks. The museum itself was well-organized and easy to navigate, with informative descriptions and labels accompanying each display. I particularly enjoyed the interactive exhibits, which allowed us to handle and examine different specimens up close. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to this museum for anyone with an interest in geology or simply looking for an educational and enjoyable outing. The combination of a great collection and a knowledgeable guide truly made for an unforgettable experience.

Out of the 12 museums we went to in Krakow, this is by far the best one. Michal is a very good guide through the museum, he went above and beyond in enthusiasm, once he gauged our interest he showed us samples that weren't even on display as well as his personal collection. Even though the museum is only two rooms he made it feel much larger. The rocks are all very interesting, from the pieces of Mars and the Moon to the rocks on the street outside.

The place is tiny, but you can spend more time here than in Wawel. Nice collections, and the exhibition curator is one of those enthusiasts who will talk interestingly about everything that interests you. I recommend it completely. When I return to Krakow, I will definitely visit the Geological Museum again

The experience was amazing. The curator was super enthusiastic and explained a lot about all the minerals, rocks and metors in the colection, and even showed us microscope images of the samples. The price is super cheap also, so definitely worth visiting.

A great experience, the best kept secret in Krakow. Although not as big as the other museums around, it was very cool and educational not to mention it only was 4 zloty for the entrance fee. The gentleman in charge was very friendly and informative and took the time to further explain objects on display. The massive salt crystal was my favorite! Very neat!

Definetely recommended! A compact museum packed with beautiful samples, some very rare! Nice to see all the findings around Kraków and in Poland in general. They also have the biggest meteorite collection in Poland, with a microscope and sliced samples to see! Staff very knowledgeable and patient, spending a lot of time explaining and answering questions!

An exciting museum with a decent collection of fossils from different periods, for those who are interested. You can also see a presentation of meteorites here, fragments of which you can held in your hands, examined under a microscope and in an enlarged view on the screen.

I recommend it, small, modest, ticket PLN 4, visit time 15 minutes, but very interesting, 3 meteorites from Poland, wonderful Krzemieniec, prints of plants and animals from prehistory, mammoth tusks, a bear jaw from a million years ago, a large 60 kg solo crystal from Wieliczka, everyone will find something for themselves, next to the Archaeological Museum is also worth visiting

From the threshold of this museum, we feel like expected guests, taken care of by a true expert and enthusiast who takes us to the world of colorful, microscopic plates to a variety of fabulous minerals and fossils. We touch a meteorite, a rock from the moon or Mars. A humorous, interesting encounter with geology. Ticket PLN 4, museum open until 6 p.m., center of Krakow. I highly recommend it!!!

(Translated by Google) A small exhibition retracing the geological history of the Krakow region. Everything is in Polish but a holder with a translation (succinct) in English of each panel is available at the reception. The hostess also offers to answer any questions or visit. Some samples can be directly taken in hand. We feel that visitors are rare, it is very austere but the entrance costs only 3 złoty and the visit lasts 20 to 30 minutes: as much to make a quick tour!

The combination between a very passionate curator and the possibility to actually touch the exhibits created an overall amazing experience. Will surely visit again. The only minor downside is the absence of a POS.

If you are wondering whether to go there, don't hesitate, just go - it's a very interesting museum. Thank you for the curiosities shown and told with passion, beautiful slides under the microscope and beautiful and detailed leaflets with the history of the Earth and chrysocollith, especially since today admission was free! I won't write about "things out of this world" because I don't want to spoil the surprise :-)
