I write my review one year after the procedure to make it as objective as possible. The doctor was about 40 minutes late. There was no "sorry I'm late". During the initial conversation, it was obvious that he was in a hurry, which affected the atmosphere of the meeting. The doctor inspected the skin lesions in a room with poor lighting, illuminating them with a phone flashlight, instead of sitting me in a patient chair in the room, with a large specialized lamp above it. 11 moles were selected for laser removal: - 2 large: diameter approx. 7-8 mm - 6 medium ones: diameter approx. 3-6 mm - 3 small: diameter approx. 1.1 mm, approx. 1.3 mm and approx. 2 mm The doctor estimated the procedure at PLN 2,000, even though the Dermedik website states "Removal of 6 to 10 skin lesions, PLN 600-800". There is no information that the price may be much higher. I know that after the price is quoted by the person performing the procedure, you can opt out of it, but if someone has already taken the time to get to the clinic and waited, it is much more difficult for them to do it. Such practices on the part of the clinic do not seem fair. Procedure: There were also surprises during the procedure. One of the lesions was not anesthetized. However, I managed not to move while the laser was burning it. Blood flowed from two wounds. Ultimately, the fee for the procedure was PLN 1,900. When asked "what to lubricate the treatment areas after the scabs fall off", the answer was that you don't need anything. How surprised I was when it turned out that the holes left by the laser after the removal of the two smallest moles (diameter approx. 1.1 and 1.3 mm) had a diameter of approx. 5.5 and 7.5 mm and a depth of approx. 3 mm. To this day I still cannot understand why such large holes were burned. I also cannot understand why the doctor did not inform me before the procedure that he intended to make such large wounds with such minor skin lesions. Two wounds were difficult to heal because they were in sensitive places - where the skin is often exposed to movement: on the neck and around the upper ribs. When a scab began to form, it was damaged during the night. Only sleeping on my back helped. As a result, the scab formed only about 10 days after the procedure. Applying dressings to these places might have prevented the problems. Three of the wounds healed in an unusual manner. Quite quickly, in about 2-3 months, scars developed that clearly protruded above the level of the skin. Results after one year: Six wounds healed satisfactorily. Unfortunately, the remaining five are not: in the case of two of them the effect is similar to what was before the treatment, and in the case of the remaining three it is worse.
