Its a beautiful and heart soothing place. It's a headquarter Iskcon Mayapur. Lord Krishna devotees visit this place everyday from near and far away places. I Visited this place during ratha yatra the experience is great with beautiful decoration of raths and everything. Overall this place emanates positive energy which is required by every individual. You can come from Nabadwip station to Nabadwip ghat ferry and then to mayapur ghat, and take a toto to main temple. You can come from Krishnanagar Station too i.e. station to swarupganj ferry ghat via auto or bus then to ferry ghat and follow the earlier process.

ISKCON Mayapur is one of the most popular world headquarters of ISKCON. ISKCON is famed as the complex of Krishna’s devotees. It has a big campus in Mayapur which includes the chandrodaya Temple, the Temple of The Vedic Planetarium (TOVP), Srila Prabhupada’s Pushpa Samadhi Mandir, Srila Prabhupada’s Bhajan Kutir, Goshala, Mayapur Institute for Higher Education (MIHE), Bhakti vedanta Academy (boys gurukul) and Sri Mayapur International School. ISKCON Mayapur is located in Sri Navadvipa Dham, which is the birthplace of Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and thus is the largest Hare Krishna community in the world. There are several guesthouses, restaurants, shops for daily needs, a pharmacy and a clinic inside the each premise. Every year, Vaishnava festivals are celebrated with a great pomp and zeal. Worth special mention are the Gaura Purnima festivities like Navadvipa Mandal Parikrama and Kirtan Mela which attract many thousands of devotees every year. History ISKCON Mayapur is one of the 20 sacred places, most visited in the whole world with almost 5 million* visitants/guests around the year. Mayapur Temple has the same quantity of visitants just like in the St. Peter’s Basilica Vatican, Rome, which is 7 million people. And it is the same quantity of people who have visited Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall or Western Wall. Of course that, after the New Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir will be ready we’ll have much more opportunity to spread the glories of the Kali Yuga* Pavana Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, worldwide. We can see how Srila Prabhupada brilliantly encouraged and inspired his disciples to do this amazing service. He gave every detail about the new temple and it is impossible for us to measure how valuable it will be for the Sankirtan* Movement.

Srila Prabhupada Puspa Samadhi Mandir is the main temple of ISKCON Mayapur. You cannot enter with shoes mobile camera and electronic gadgets. You can keep the things in their shoe store where you can keep your shoe and mobile cameras there for free as they are not allowed these things in the temple. Don't be rushed there. After checking you can enter the temple. On the 2nd floor of the temple there is a museum where you can buy a ticket from the entrance. When you enter the temple you should sit there for some time and close your eyes and chant Hare krishna and feel the vibes. It's awesome feelings. After visiting the temple you can leave from the exit gate.

Nice place for aday trip to mayapur(formarly known as miyapur). A huge dome structure temple is under construction. The new building was started in 2009 and was scheduled to be completed by 2023. Most of the construction is done. This the headquarters of the ISKON( INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY for KRISHNA CONSCIOUSNESS). At the temple any visitor can have lunch or dinner while purchasing prasad coupon. The prices are- 40/-, 60/- 80/-. If you want to stay there, there are a lot of hotels startion form 300/- to 2000/- per night. If you want to eat at any local food stall. Try 'joyguru hotel' food are freshly made and very very tasty. Direction- from krishnanagar railway station. Take a auto(rs 25/- per head). Go to swarupganj ferry ghat. Cross the churni river (rs 2/-) and reach hulor ghat. Then you can reach iskon temple by walking or by a toto(rs. 10/- per head).

The magnificient memorial shrine of Srila Prabhupada is the largest of its kind in India. The tall majestic marble dome dominates the skyline and shines beautifully in the golden rays of the sun at sunrise and sunset. The garland which adorned His Divine Grace while placing him in Samadhi has been brought and laid down in the Pushpa Samadhi Mandir. A larger than life size brass murti of Srila Prabhupada has been installed and worshipped here. The Samadhi Mandir’s gardens are very beautiful and extensive. They never fail to attract the attention of all guests. Upstairs, inside the Samadhi, a large diorama display depicts Srila Prabhupada’s life and struggles to establish ISKCON and its preaching mission. Outside, the walls are decorated with terra-cotta displays of Krishna’s pastimes from the Srimad-Bhagavatam. A large auditorium is in the basement with facility for stage lighting. It is equipped with a sound system and seminars, festivals, ISKCON film shows and cultural programs take place here. The Samadhi Mandir is open for general guests from 7:30am to 1 p.m. and 3:30pm to 8:30am Timings of some of the prominent aratis are: Srila Prabhupada arati: 4:00am Srila Prabhupada Guru Puja : 7:30am Bhoga-arati : 12:15pm Sandhya-arati : 6:00pm

People come here from across the globe. Very calm and serene Place; just go inside the temple and sit there, don't do anything. Inside Temple one can feel that, the placid and sacred atmosphere touches the inner soul. You can eat 'Maha-Prasad', you have to buy a ticket for that (It is good to get that ticket as early as you can).

Apart from the Mayapur Isckon Chandodaya temple, this is one of the most visited temple, Srila Prabhupada Puspasamadhi Mandir. We went here early morning for chanting, usually for public it opens around 9 AM but for bhaktas who want to chant in silence, they can visit early in morning also. There is also a museum situated in the first floor of the mandir. There some staffs will help you to navigate. The staff and volunteers were very friendly and welcoming. They were happy to share their knowledge about spirituality and offered interesting classes and talks. We also took mahaprasadam. The mahaprasadam was not only delicious but also considered special and sacred.

Such a beautiful place, I loved it. The best time to visit this place is October to February. And if you don't like crowd, try to avoid the Holi festival. On this day the whole town becomes extremely crowded, and scorching heat of the sun is another problem. It becomes difficult to walk in bare feet at there. There shall be no auto/toto to carry you from the Ghat to the temple.

Srila Prabhupada is thus the founder-acarya of ISKCON. Whatever standards and instructions comprise ISKCON have come from him. Therefore Srila Prabhupada will always remain the preeminent siksa-guru and acarya of ISKCON. Books and publishing. Srila Prabhupada's books are considered to be among his most significant contributions. During the final twelve years of his life, Prabhupada translated over sixty volumes of classic Hindu scriptures (e.g. Bhagavad Gita, Chaitanya Charitamrita and Srimad Bhagavatam) into the English language. Opulent temple at the ISKCON headquarters featuring a sprawling dome & an arched veranda. It is located at Mayapur in Nadia District of West Bengal.

Srila Prabhupada Puspasamadhi Mandir is a beautiful and serene Hindu temple located in Mayapur, West Bengal, India. It is the final resting place of Srila Prabhupada, the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). The temple is a sight to behold, with its white marble walls, intricate carvings, and golden domes. The interior of the temple is equally impressive, with its large halls, ornate altars, and beautiful paintings and sculptures. Visitors to the temple can pay their respects to Srila Prabhupada and learn about his teachings. They can also participate in various religious and cultural activities, such as kirtan chanting, aarti ceremonies, and lectures. The temple is also a popular tourist destination, and visitors from all over the world come to experience its beauty and tranquility. I highly recommend visiting Srila Prabhupada Puspasamadhi Mandir. It is a truly special place that offers visitors a chance to experience the beauty and spirituality of Hinduism. The best time to visit the temple is early in the morning or late in the evening, when it is less crowded. Dress modestly when visiting the temple. There is no entrance fee for the temple, but donations are welcome. There are a few restaurants and shops located near the temple. If you are planning to stay in Mayapur, there are a variety of hotels and guesthouses to choose from.

Timings of some of the prominent aratis are: Srila Prabhupada arati: 4:00am Srila Prabhupada Guru Puja : 7:30am Bhoga-arati : 12:15pm Sandhya-arati : 6:00pm

Not a big religious person to be honest but visit was better than expectation. Prasaad (food) was good, views of the temple were exquisite. But too many restrictions to get inside the actual temple took the fun away otherwise not a bad place to visit.

Nice place, with a pond, lots of trees around. There is a park adjacent and lots of shops to purchase puja related items. Overall nice place to enjoy an evening and the idols are nice too. However, all shoes and electronic equipment’s need to be kept before going into the temple, which is the only issue.
