What I like about this hotel: 1.The lobby entrance is an open space concept, high ceiling, lots of space for sitting and comfy, and the bar with facing the sea view. A lovely place for day and night. 2.The team is fabulous, professional, and provides good services. 3.The room is fantastic, with a balcony facing the garden, swimming pool and sea view. Be aware of the groups of monkeys that want to see you, and make sure you lock your door before you leave the room. 4.There is a restaurant on the beach that serves lunch and dinner, the food is great with a fantastic view. 5.There are two swimming pools, the main pool has a bar that serves drinks. 7.The garden landscape is absolutely beautiful, with direct access to the beach. Best for a walk in the morning and evening. 8.The restaurant for breakfast is very nice, the food and drink is great too. You must try the fresh yogurt!! If I am coming back to Langkawi again, I would like to stay in this hotel again.

My first thought upon arrival here is Oh, is this it? The Lobby seemed underwhelming. However I was greeted by a very cheery Front Desk. While the reception wasn't impressive, the swimming pool sure was! Located right next to the Andaman ocean, I had the best time lounging here and taking it all in. Service by staff is A+++. They were helpful & genuine! Room is spacious and amenities delightful. There is even a tip sheet on how to safely enter, exit the bath tub. If I may suggest, to upgrade room slippers to better quality and to feature your name on it. Breakfast was okay and checking out was easy, but not as friendly as the Check in personnel. It was the Staff who helped me with my bag that wished me a safe journey and to please return again. And quite likely... I will.

We have been staying here for 4 nights and the place is wonderful. The staff is very kind and helpful. The restaurants on the resort serve good food (quite pricey though). The resort is extremely clean just like the rooms. The rooms are not very up to date, but the bed is amazing. The only downside is that it's very crowded crowded (probably because it's so good). For us the location was perfect, but it's a tiny bit remote. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for 6 days. Staff were absolutely amazing, so so incredible. They were all super kind and friendly, making for a fantastic stay. Our rooms were fabulous, very nicely done up and clean, with all amenities working well. The hotel itself has an extremely good location, with Fisherman’s Wharf, Jetty Point, and Langkawi Fair Mall all being within a 5 minute drive and within walkable distance (10 minutes give or take). Also very close to Kuah city (5 min drive). Food served at the buffet for breakfast was consistently good, with a wide variety of fresh food of different cuisines including Asian, Western, and Middle Eastern, all served to a high level and was always very yummy. Amenities at the hotel were also fantastic. The pool was gorgeous and they have a recreation centre which was great for an afternoon of fun with games such as pool, table tennis, and basketball. Would definitely recommend!!!

What an incredible place! It was amazing!Very relaxing, very clean and organised, very professional and polite staff. It also has a recreation centre with gym and where you can play various sports and spa treatments place. The food was superb, we also booked the barbecue night at the splash bar , the food was AMAZING and we also found it very romantic. It has various pools including an only adult pool away from main pools. The nicest one was the infinity pool which had a breath taking view. Along the beach you can also find monkeys living in the nature.( not aggressive unless you bother them). The rooms were very clean and decent size. Only down side, the sea and the beach. The sea wasn’t very clear and the beach was full of clams shell, and rubbish even though they had someone cleaning almost every morning, it was still not very pleasant to walk. But hey, they can’t control the sea so a well deserved 5 star. Thank you so much for the amazing experience we will definitely be back.

Ocean view room is worth upgrading to as the views are stunning. We stayed here for 5 nights & what we were impressed with was the following: -Always greeting us on entry & departures -The politeness & courtesy in conversation -The house keeping & front desk staff have left an endearing touch to our experience in Langkawi. The small details matter just as much 😊 Thank you especially Syamsinar for being so welcoming through our stay.

We had a fantastic experience at the Westin resort and spa Langkawi. The staff was always helpful with a smile on their face. In room dining was amazing, full marks to the food. Their breakfast buffet had extensive variety catering to different food preferences. Clean pools and easy access to the beach. Their rooms were clean and had the basic necessities and amenities. Special shout out to their house keeper Naaima who left our rooms spotless with a cheerful demeanour.

One of the awesome place I had opportunity to stay in. I like the overall ambience. Probably because I went during off season so less people at the hotel which I love it so much. The staff is friendly, soft spoken & giving positive aura. Our room is a bit far so a lot of walking. I don't mind (am a lazy person) because the plan to our room not that complicated or difficult. It even better because our floor can access to the pool and the beach. 😍😍 There are a lot of things to do or to enjoy at the accommodation. There are 3 type of pools to enjoy, not much strict rules so we still have to mind our surroundings safely. The beach also nice and clean to enjoy for sunbathing or swimming. Ahhh such a lovely & cozy place. I love it so much.

First impression when we reached the lobby was ...."what a great view!" We booked the full ocean view for our room...really worth it.. Friendly hotel staff and the spa service is good too...had a great massage & facial there...recommended 👍

Having read historical reviews from July, I was very nervous about the stay. However, it was rather pleasant. It's true the hotel needs some TLC. It's dated and in need of refurbishment if it wants to be a 5-star hotel! We had room 4218, wallpaper hanging off where the bath appeared to be leaking. Maid cleaning service security concerns- room door left open on the latch for around 2 hours while they clean the whole corridor, returning later to bring towels before locking up. Do not leave valuables on display and use the safe! The service by the pool bar staff was very good, but the breeze bar was appalling. After waiting 25 minutes to be served, we gave up and left! Breakfast was good, a great selection from different cultures 👌. The pools are lovely with great views of the sea. The beach was poor, all shail and shell, lots of plastic waste washed up. Some good restaurants a 10 minute walk from hotel which sell alcohol or a 5 minute taxi to the centre of town where there is a good selection of Restaurants.

It's the place to go to get away from people and the world. Secluded hideaway, private beach raked for sea debris every morning, beautifully kept grounds, immense domaine, beautiful rooms, 4 swimming pools, great breakfast, good food and bars. What more do I need to say. The personnel are wonderful, whether at the restaurants, bars, pools, beach reception or outdoors at the parking and baggage area. You don't need to get out of the complex. I'll definitely come back when I next need a complete quiet relaxation away from everyone/everything moment.

The hotel is located at the more quieter part of Langkawi and is good for relaxation and rest. Check in staff were friendly and helpful but definitely unable to cope with the influx of guests and it took more than awhile to get the room keys. The deduction of one star is due to the need of better coordination of manpower and better efficiency. As there were many waiting to check in, guests were also not promptly given their welcome drinks. Besides this blunder during check in, everything else during the stay was awesome. Food variety for both breakfast and dinner buffet was good and the room is clean and cosy. The singers entertaining at the lobby lounge sang well and suitable for the ambience. Overall good stay and recommended!

My family and I stayed at Westin Langkawi in February of 2023, it was our first resort holiday and first time in Langkawi. From the moment we stepped into the resort to the moment we left staff were so friendly and accommodating. As for service and amenities at the hotel, everything was picturesque and well maintained. The buffet breakfast is a must, the views from the dining room in the morning are wonderful. The chefs provide both local foods and other less exotic options for kids and picky eaters. Dining at tide in the evening is a wonderful experience but you need to book in advance to be sat on a table near the water. Ordering drinks at the poolside bar with views of the ocean also feels very luxurious. We also ended up booking a massage package. The spa is located further away from the main hotel, away from the hustle and bustle. It feels very tranquil and after the massage they set us up with tea and a view of the beach to relax before we left. It was so soothing and I highly recommend using their services. The staff are also amazing and super accommodating. My sister had her birthday during our trip and we requested balloons in the room as a surprise and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Front of desk listened to my request patiently and the cleaning staff who set up the room did such a superb job. The staff at tide also brought out cake with a candle on request so we could sing happy birthday to her. We made many happy memories and overall, our stay was so good that we have been talking about it for months now. We have recommended this resort to everyone who asks and will continue to do so in the future.

Pros: breathtaking view over the sea, excellent and kind service, food was overall good, spa experience was fantastic. Cons: we paid 300 euros per night, and looking at the website pictures, I was expecting a 5 stars hotel. It was maybe a nice 5 stars hotel but 20 years ago !! Rooms and some common areas need renovation and maintenance. You can tell by looking at the doors, chairs, floors that no money has been spent recently on renovation (I am not talking about quick and dirty painting to hide the poor state of the furniture). It’s a pitty since the location and the staff are so nice. If I had paid 100 euros, I would not have complained but 300 euros per night, for sure, my expectations were higher.

They can get better food. I stayed for 8 days, 5 of which were work days and one of the days I had slightly upset stomach. They can also improve the taste of their vegetarian dishes. Service is great though. Special kudos to Khushi or Mansi, for great advises.
