Nice to see but don't count on a spectacle. The square is well maintained and there are a number of nice restaurants within a 3-minute walk. The sea view is also quite nice to see. If you are not going to eat or drink something then you are done in 10 minutes. Just that you know.

Majestic view of the giant eagle. There are spotlights to shine on your faces for night photos with the eagle. Nice view of the Maha Tower. Cooling and nice walk around the eagle square, with lots of people.

Amazing viewpoint from the eagle square. And free entry. A must go place if you visit Langkawi. There are a lot of points to capture a picture near the eagle statue. Had a nice breeze. I would recommend going cloudy morning or evening sunset. Enjoyed a lot

get a quick look over Langkawi Malaysia from this square. There is a mall selling duty free stuffs at the back.

Nice place to visit and not to miss during a Langkawi trip, free entrance, huge eagle, many stalls selling ornaments can be found there, ample parking.

One of the best and important landmarks of Langkawi Island 🏝️ which to be visited once atleast for beautiful naturistic view of sunset 🌇 scenic view from this spot . Situated on the jetty point so this place connects with many commercial aspects of jetty duty free mall nearby and many hotels are situated near this spot . Good place to visit with your families.

This is a tourist spot and a park in Langkawi from where you can see the sunset. Takes about 30 mins scooter ride from Cenang beach (lovely roads). Well maintained place with lots of food options also. If you can see the sunset properly, depending on the weather that's a bonus.

The eagle statue is so huge. Nice sea breeze and relaxing especially in the evening. Afternoon is so hot but the nearby ice cream and cold drinks are available easily at affordable price.

Missed to visit the eagle Square on my previous trip to langkawi but couldn't miss it this time . Beautiful eagle monument expressing the heart and soul of langkawi island . It also has a small shopping market within. Located in capital of langkawi a must visit . If you are arriving to langkawi via ferry boat then it's almost impossible to miss because the ferry arrive just next to the statue . But if you are reaching langkawi by air then it's around 30 mins from airport and 45 mins from Cenang Beach (most happening place is langkawi)

Dataran Lang (Eagle Square) is a landmark of Langkawi and is also a prominent tourist attraction on the island of Langkawi , Kedah , Malaysia . It is a 12 meter tall eagle statue depicting the eagle from which Langkawi gets its name. The position of this giant eagle statue is located next to the Kuah jetty platform, with its wings ready to take off making it an awe-inspiring sight for tourists ready to land on the island . Touristic but impressive. A bit dirty and in need of better maintenance and attention for such an impressive area. Recommended

The eagle statue is symbolic but the scenary around is much more worth the visit. Nice scenary and sea view. Lots of big tree. Chill atmosphere

Good place.. very scenic... What a structure.. monumental... Very photogenic.. Sunset was awesome... So was the lighting.. Very less crowd.. possibly because it's May .. so we had a great time 👍👍👍👌👌👌

Beautiful at night with colourful lights beaming towards the eagle. Also has fun rides in the square with bicycles and tricycles etc

Visiting this site for the second time but this time is on the day. The eagle is colourful if you visited on the night however you will missed the sea view in the day. Well it is up to your time you visit, day or night will give you different views 😉 The stalls are open in the day time and you can grab an ice cream to cold down yourself in the hot day ☺️. Those stalls are closed at night.

Nice time spends with frnds and enjoy the beautiful nature of langkawi paradise Main hub Kuah. Same near by you will get lots of hub food station locates. All overall good experience

Located close to Kuah jetty and Dartlang bay, this is a huge statue of Brahmini kite which is the island bird of Langkawi. Built into the sea, the view of the shore is amazing from here. During summers this place will get really really hot. There's ample parking space (paid) available and shops selling souvenirs and snacks.

One of the important landmarks of Langkawi. Langkawi also gets its name due to eagle and hence significance of this place. We visited during the morning and it was quite sunny. Unsure if evening time is better. There is water fountain and a small garden around this place. One can also see the vast sea spreads from this place. It's a good to visit place when in Langkawi. Ample parking space available and eateries are also present in the premises.

Great place for drone shots. The island itself doesn’t really provide. Lot of scenes, but this one is a must-see!

The park is well maintained. The eagle is so big and nicely painted. You can take photo at all angles. No entrance fee as well. Not too crowded. There are some food and drink stalls nearby. Few souvineer shops as well. If you are in Kuah, this is a must see. Best time ti go is early morning or in the evening to avoid the burning sun :) when you are done you can walk to a nearby park which i cannot remember the name at this time :)

It's nice some nice pics with the huge eagle and the sea ... also for kids they can play nicely behind the eagle where we can rent cars for 20 ringet... in the evening it has a brilliant view with all colours...

A must visit place if you visit Langkawi. They have several souvenior stalls if you want to get some. Bit hot during a day. It was really quite when we visited there ... tourist can only came via flight .. it was a nice trip for us since there is less crowd...Overall Grate Experience.

A must-go place when you come to Langkawi. It is recommended to go in the evening, it is too hot in the morning and afternoon! It's so sunny in the afternoon, I can't open my eyes to take the photo. So, if you want to go must prepare a sunglasses and hat.

It’s a must visit in Langkawi located in the town of kuah. However it’s full of tourist and a little hard to get proper photos with the eagle. I came during sunset timing.

The most identical spot at Langkawi. Accessible to Kuah town and Langkawi Fair Shopping Mall. Such a great spot here as the view towards the jetty point and Kuah town can be seen here. Not recommended coming on evening time (sunrise) as you might get sunblock.
