Amazing food and atmosphere! Definitely recommend! The service is incredible and quick. If you're there definitely give the salted egg softshell crab and chili chicken a try!. I can't believe how good it is! 10/10 would come again without hesitation. Edit: it's my last day in Langkawi and I can't stop thinking about the food in this place. So I came again for the last time. Its just as good as the first time. And the smiles and service they provide is unparalleled! It feels very homey and the portions feels like home to. Amazing food and amazing people. I'm genuinely sad that I won't be able to enjoy this food for a while but please if you're around the area, please give them a visit. Criminally underrated!

Nice and cozy restaurant serving delicious Chinese food. The seafood is fresh and the prices are very reasonable, the crab we ordered was really fresh and delicious, owner is really nice and friendly too. We didn’t have to wait too long for our dishes either. Highly recommended if you’re looking for good Chinese seafood away from the typical tourist trap restaurants in the city centre.

Our family of 7 went to a number of the ‘top’ seafood restaurants in Langkawi. Kuah Town was almost unanimously our favourite. Refined and flavourful. Garlic tiger prawns and oyster egg were the crowd pleasers. Can’t wait to return !! *****

One of the best seafood I ever had in Langkawi. Decent portion with super fresh quality of seafood they served. Location is quite hidden, however is not a problem to come here with GPS. Very reasonable price for what they served. Highly recommended.

It was more than 10 years ago when my family visited Langkawi last time. We didn't expect a big crowd for this time due to Covid-19 and also it was in the middle of Ramadhan. Many restaurants were closed so we just went to a restaurant which was open after a couple of minutes Google search. Bingo! This restaurant was fantastic. We were so lucky to have found this by chance. We stayed in Langkawi for 4 days 3 nights and we've been to Kuah Town Seafood Restaurant 3 times although it took for 30 mins to go there by car from my hotel (Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah). ;-) I definitely will go there whenever I trip to Langkawi (Although I don't know when it will be...) and strongly recommend to anybody who goes to Langkawi. ps: I really want to learn how to fry the food from the chef. ^^

This restaurant may be small but pack with many delicious food and photos of Langkawi during 1960s. The fried soft shell crab with salted egg is one of the best I have tasted. A must have for my next trip. Beers (RM5.50 per tin) is cheap in this duty free island. You can get a Heineken 500ml tin for RM3.90 from mini market outside.

Cereal prawns were really fresh and good. Prices are reasonable. Food was served fast and hot. Not sure why other reviewers would recommend the seafood soup though - it was bland and tasted like stock powder was used as the base. Avoid the juices - tempting for the price but it was 50% mixed with water. Otherwise it generally is a comfortable place to have an affordable quality meals especially when you are with company. Pork-free.

Very nice dining environment with aircon. Good service and fast serving. The seafood was fresh and tasty. Below is a steam grouper with shallot and chilli, around 500g and a flower crab cook with sweet and sour sauce. . Medium portion and the fried rice is really full of "wok hei". Cheap and reasonable price compared to other seafood restaurant however the location is quite hidden. Recommended for family dinner.

Stunning food, very familiar but professional service. The owner helped us to pick from the menu and we were also able to order traditional food we like which was not on the menu. Comfortable and clean, air-conditioned! Definitely a very good recommendation when ever in Langkawi.

A place where locals would come and you know they serve good food at reasonable price. Must try is the oyster omelette, it is done perfect, fluffy and crispy. Reminds me of thai omelette. Seafood here is reasonably price as well. Total bill for what we had is RM$183. Service by the staff is also very good and fast. Highly recommended.

We arrived at the busy restaurant without a booking but were warmly welcomed by Mr. Eng who gave us seats to sit on while we waited for a table. We enjoyed and ate up all the food we ordered: gai lan in oyster sauce, chilli chicken, Thai bean curd and Fu Yong Hai dish. The food was cooked well, was tasty and very reasonably priced. Service was friendly and efficient. After our meal we needed to wait to be picked up. Mr and Mrs Eng very kindly allowed us to wait in the restaurant even though all the other customers had left by that time and the staff was in the midst of cleaning.

My first visit to Langkawi in a long time and the first meal experience at this place is out of this world. The Kheng Som Steamed Fish, Dried Chilli Mantis Prawn and out of the menu Stir Fried Garlic Chives is amazing. 100/10 would recommend to come try this place out when u drop by Langkawi. The restaurant is even HALAL too!

The food is ok. The place is clean. Recommended for tourist looking for decent local food. The downside is the fish we had, the fish scale is not properly cleaned. It ruined a little bit for the whole lunch experience.

The green curry grilled sting ray is super awesome. Price wise is wallet friendly. 6 dishes for RM190. Good food and friendly owners. Will be back again

Below expectation, food portion is small, taste is average. Having stomachache after eating, not sure if the fish or tofu is the cause. Fish is not so fresh and tofu has some sour taste

Great lunch. Walked in post island hopping tour that ends at 1pm. Thankfully they still took us at 2:20pm? Lady boss was extremely friendly and patient. Helping us through the menu. *Food* -Lime and Chilli Fish style is really good. Wish they had other fishes such as grouper but they were only left with large ones. Would think that this pomfret fish would have gone well with Teochew style. -Lemon Chicken was delicious. -Crispy butter prawns was great as it was peeled. -Black Pepper Crab, sauce is similar to when you order black pepper beef. Pretty decent. -Their vege is delicious as well.

The chili crab and lemon garlic squid are the must try! Very authentic and savory, made us crave more rice. The most important, food waiting time was short especially when we were starving. The owner was very hospitalized, willing to take photos for guests and gave recommendations for the trip.

Recommended by a grab driver. The food is tasty 😋 feel satisfied with the food order. Overall cost RM141 for 4 persons.
