A new 2km trail hiking loop to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are points along the way with benches provided to take a break with info about the trail and the type of trees, insects etc. Some parts of the hike can be challenging for first timers and be prepared to walk up flights of steps along the way. Instagram worthy pics and amazing view of the city skyline await you at the peak. Wear comfortable clothes with good walking shoes. Bring along water and snacks as it can get hot and there are no shops at the park. (Perhaps they should consider installing some vending machines!) Free Entrance to the KL East Park has been extended until June 2024 but you will have to register online to select a time slot with up to 5 guests to join you. You will be emailed a QR code which they will scan during entry and exit. Toilet is available at the main entrance. Free parking is at the KL East Sales Gallery and its a 10 min walk from there to the entrance of the park. Waze KL East Sales Gallery to get there.

Not so many people during our visit. Everything is OK. 1. Parking. You may not able or allowed to park in the facilities. You can park at the mall and walk up. I park my car at the mall while my friend who lived in VEO come and pick me up. If you are planning for a school/college trip, try to dicuss with the land owner. As I saw a few vehicles and bus are in the facility. 2. Meal/Food Too bad, there are not stall inside. But, like [1], the big group trip, you might be allowed the food to go into. I saw some ppl are carrying the foods and drinks. 3. Staff/Hike experience The are friendly. Very helping. One of them asked us to walk around the big circle. I am not regretting it as I can take a very nice photo of KL. The tophill view is not so nice. The trees are blocking the view. But got the landmark. 4. Tips (by non hikers/sportman like me) Walk slowly, take your time, enjoy the environment. Do not rush. More photos on ig:fzeo

Quite nice trek. However need to book slot to go in and most of time would only get afternoon slot. Despite that the trek has canopy so it is still enjoyable

Relatively easy hike. Suitable for beginners. There are some uphill slopes but doable even for the least fittest person. The route is 2km and I finished it within an hour with a photo taking session at the top. Parking is a hassle tho, you'll have to park at the sales gallery and there were no signboards saying that you must park here. There's a distance between the parking lot and the main entrance of the hike. The trail is relatively clean and well patched, staircases were built for most of the uphill slopes.

A reservation is required and there is a time slot. For example, 9am to 11am. You will have to scan the QR code to enter and a different QR code to exit the park. It's a 2km hiking trails. Most of the walk is quite safe. Just near the entrance where there are more rocks it could be a little bit slippery. There is a washroom near the entrance. It takes around 1 hour to reach the look out point. The city view at the look out is good. The trails is properly lable so no worries to get lost. The entrance fee is free until 31 Aug 2023. Park the car at KL east Sales Gallery and walk upwards to the park entrance.

Must register your details at the website and choose the available slots, they'll scan the QR code when you go in and out. There're free parking lots just beside the back entrance of KL East Mall. Walking distance from KL East Mall back entrance, vehicles are not allowed to go up the hill, Grab can stop right in front of the VEO. Free entrance extended until end of year 2023.

A very beautiful hiking trail or spot in Kuala Lumpur. It is a great option to get away from the hustle bustle of the city life. Around 10 kilometres away from the city centre. The spot is privately maintained. A good hiking spot for the beginners. A beautiful view of the city skyline from the lookout point at the hilltop. Parking slots are available and around 300 metres away from the entry point of the park.

Short walk up the hill behind KL East Mall. Seems well kept and promising. Has a gate right in front of a school. Tried to go twice so far, but it’s only open to the public in Q1 2023 (according to the guard and website). Seems like you need to register and get a QR code to enter (there’s a gantry past the first gate). You can try googling for it though ;) Would love to know if someone managed to!

Suitable for 1st time hiker, kids above 6 yo, and leisure hiking. Checkpoints close to each other and benches at every checkpoint. Provide route map with nature info and marker at many points. Limited admission, so more convenience for family with kids. 2 hours given time is ample for visitors to reach the Lookout Point, rest and take pictures, and return to entrance.

Tips to Get There from the Mall: Park your car in the mall and looks for Kenny Hills Bakery, walk out from the entrance next to it and head left to reach a junction turn right uphill toward the International School. within 10mins can reach the QR code scan entrance. Visited yesterday at slot 2pm due to the morning sess always fully booked. The weather was unexpectedly cooling for a noon session came with mild raining along the way. Nicely built hiking trail, informative and many photogenic spots. Downhill offers a better KL scenery than hill peak. Hehe!

Good for beginner hikers. It is fairly easy to hike and has proper path. Need to reserve your hike slot, can only reserve strictly earliest 72 hours prior to your preferred time slot. Go earliest possible, earliest slot starts at 7am.

Came alone at 2-4pm slot, there is a lot of shade and quite safe. MUST pre-booking 3 days in advanced for your hike, the security will check at the entrance. The trail was easy, bare and it’s in a loop, took 20mins to the top(lookout point). Can hear insects and birds, sometimes the toads around.

Please book your slot in advance and no walk in is allowed. I book 11am-1pm slot, no fret, when you're in the park, the temperature is very pleasant for you to hike. It's only 2km hike and the path is pretty safe to bring kids along or beginner and I have 0 mosquito bite! It's a great place to escape from hustle and bustle city.

Approximately 2km up and down with easy ascent. Need to scan your booking qr before entry. We'll kept trail with rangers always around. Many rest stops and 2 shelters along the way. Toilets at the entrance. Great views of KL at the top. Short climb and suitable for kids. They might charge entry soon. Book at their website and come at your designated time slot. We saw people denied entry for coming late. Park at the sales office and walk 10 minutes towards the international school.

It was a pleasant experience to hike the park! The view up there is peaceful and beautiful! I would recommend beginner to hike if you’re not sure where to begin. Overall it was 2km from the starting point until the end (1.2km to the top). The view was worth it. Parking: Advisable to park at Sime Darby property show room parking lot. It’s about 5 mins walk to the park entrance Booking: Remember to go to the website to book your time slot and do not be late as the QR code will not be valid after 15 minutes of your booking time. It is free entrance until June 24 as shown in website. So go before to enjoy the perks!

Enjoyed the hiking trail. Enjoyed taking pictures. Good facilities. After hiking, went to the nearby KL East Mall for lunch. The small stones on the steps not suitable, slippery. Saw someone slipped and fell. Me too also almost fell down.

It is a good hiking track but it feels too short and the lookout point really need other things so it will be more beautiful. The system' was good because you need to regist to the staff all the name in case something happen.

Nothing too fancy after 20 mins hike up to the top. Some trees are blocking the city view but you’ll find at some point at the lower point where you can capture full view of it. Wasn’t worth hyping and need of booking 3 days in advance if you ask me but good job having security and first aid kit on standby for any emergencies. Definitely suitable for beginners and family who love to do morning walk as quantity of hikers are controlled for the time being, depending which time slot selected upon booking. Just don’t think it’s worth coming second time for those who tend to seek spectacular city views.

An easy trail, tranquil, not much crowd as the number of visitors is limited per session. Enjoy this hiking overall. The only thing I regret was I was to shy to ask for a girl’s ig!😔

Easy trail. Needs booking. Park in open area before reaching Veo Condo. Walk in heading for international school. The trail is a bit slippery beginning but become easy as walk further in with lots resting area. Just be careful with pebbles which can be hazard when walking down.

I just discovered this new place, and it was amazing. The hike is not hard, I have been to many hikes and I would consider this an easy/moderate hike. I went here together with my siblings, even my youngest who is only 5 years old enjoyed it. It’s free, just gotta book it online before going there. I totally recommend this place!
