😠 Came here for trying out the lala noodles. Can frankly to say, it taste only normal, as for lala fried noodle is also taste bland. The lala noodles soup is better a bit as the quantity of lala is more. And the worse part is, after we back during that night we vomit and diarrhea. My case is slighter,... People often mention lala, noodles, soup, wine, Lala, fried, broth, good, taste, rice,

Came here for trying out the lala noodles. Can frankly to say, it taste only normal, as for lala fried noodle is also taste bland. The lala noodles soup is better a bit as the quantity of lala is more. And the worse part is, after we back during that night we vomit and diarrhea. My case is slighter, only stomachache, but my husband is vomit and diarrhea. So, really not recommend. And for the service, all the waiter is really hard to be seen. So really hard when calling any help from them.

Was highly recommended by my wife and the food was simply AMAZING. Soup was very flavourful with lots of Lala and prawns were fresh. Enjoyed every drop of the soup (refer to photo). Highly recommended to eat the Prawn Lala Noodle.

Shop is super near to Petaling Street. The meehon texture is good. I think they’re using good grade meehon. Soup base is great and they are generous with the Lala portion. The only thing is during peak hour, expect to share table as the shop is small in size and lots of people dine in. Portion: 8.6/10 Food taste: 8.7/10 (I like it) Service: 7.5/10 Atmosphere: 6.5/10 Price: RM20 to RM40 (drinks included) Recommended to try. Overall the taste is great.

Very nice soup base full of spring onion, ginger and white wine. Large portion of Japanese lala & bee hoon at a reasonable Rm 15.00 for Michelin bib. Bee hoon very good quality. Cleanliness can be improved.

The Lai Fong Lala Noodle Restaurant, a Bib Gourmand establishment is situated at Jalan Sultan, KL. It focused on lala noodles. The original lala noodle stall is at Lai Fong Kopitiam which is situated at the cross junction of Jalan Tun H S Lee and Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. This air condition restaurant is more conducive and comfortable compared to the original stall which is non air conditioned. Besides the signature soup lala meehoon, one can add other seafood such as prawns or fish to the noodles. There is also a fried version of the lala meehoon. The chilli condiments came individually packed which is more hygenic. However I find the lala broth rather bland and less aromatic compared to the original stall .

This really popular shop, michelin gourmand, at the heart of KL has a queue all the time. Managed to squeeze a spot, without waiting too long. The noodles is nice, good bite without being too “kembang” - some bihun gets kembang easily 🤭 The lala/ clams are fresh. Although, they’re not the juiciest Lalas around to be honest. Some have big meat, some are tiny and flat. But the soup is so good! Strong bold flavors, so wonderfully umami! ✨Overall Score: 8.5/10 ✨ ************************** Can Eat One Mehhh??? With only 1 dish - and it’s the name sake, i really thought the Lala’s would have been of higher quality. But other than that, it is a wonderful meal! 🫶🏻

Taste: 8/10 Price: 7/10 Amazing clam broth. Very rich flavor. Could use a little more spice. Fried rice also has a lot of lala. Taste pretty normal.

Lai Foong Lala Noodles has earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition this year. 🤩 The secret to their success is every lala is handpicked, inspected and cleaned by hand. 😮 The broth is made from frying ginger, chilli and garlic in a smoking wok. The fragrant sweet broth is then filled with generous amount of lala in a bowl of rice noodles. 🙂 I loved the the broth very much, it was full of sweetness and umami flavour of the sea. It wasn’t too gingery nor overpowered by intense flavour of Shaoxing wine. It was really well balanced. 🙂 For the lala clams, I’m not a huge fan as I think the flesh is too small. 🙄

Lala noodles is a must-try in China town. The food is excellent with a clean seafood broth. Portion is perfect to fill one person but also fun to share for two. Recommending salted egg Oreo ice cream for dessert. One downside is rough service from servers.

I would like to recommend the lala wine noodle as the portion suitable for 2 person in my opinion. The lala are all fresh and there's none empty lala I received. Worth for the price as the bowl are big and plenty of lala. Also, the staffs are friendly.

All are incredible amazing, fried noodles and fried rice some how got wok heh, just that after fried, the lala will shrinks, not much meat left, lala noodles with wine soup is good, lala noodles without wine soup is more to the sesame oil ginger based soup, both are superb for me. Both noodles soup, provide alot of lala, if u are lala fans u definitely will love it.

Is my return trip as a tourist! Went in the shop at 7pm and there's no crowd. Love their lala soup meehoon, their soup comes with Chinese wine taste and it warms the body when you drink it. Is a comfort food, no complaints.

Went two days in a row. Clams size different on both day, probably supplier issue. Definitely worth trying if you are a first timer. Ate this for more than a decade.

I got the lala & prawn noodles - pretty good! Very flavourful soup broth and restaurant is very generous with the quantity of seafood! Seafood is really fresh as well However, I’d prefer the soup to be a little less gingery/peppery (broth is ginger-heavy) so I can taste more of the seafood flavours. Might be a bummer if you don’t like ginger/pepper-based soups.

Tried the lala fried mihun. Disappointing. The noodles were dry and undercooked. Lala was rubbery. The dish was filled with MSG to make you thirsty. There was very little ingredients, should've been more generous with the eggs at least. RM17.40 for this bowl is also on the pricier side, you can get better food at better prices along the same street. Won't come back.
