Came here for breakfast during our stay, there's quite an even spread of local and western dishes, so you do get to pick what you enjoy the most. staff is quite nice and quick with their service too. but i feel weird that there's no salad bar. food also seems to be nicer when it was less crowded, perhaps it gets little rushed during weekend mornings.

Came here for Christmas Buffet Dinner. It was a great experience. They had a large variety of dishes. The food were fresh and delicious. They gave us a private room for the 7 of us. We had a great time.

Located at Level 5 of Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, this restaurant serves the daily buffet breakfast. Overall, it has a fine selection of food choices, local food, Indian cuisine, dim sum, noodles, breads and even sushis. The unique part is the offer of fresh fruit juices, which you can choose and someone will juice the fruits live, instead of a dispenser-style juice which most restaurants offer. Overall a great place for your breakfast!

I visited the Latest Recipe for Christmas dinner at 8 p.m. Price of 238 RM per person. It was too dangerous there. Social distancing was not observed there. The gap between the tables was so close that it felt as if the people of the other tables on both sides were my party. Furthermore, the empty foods in each section were not filled. Only salmon sashimi remained in the Japanese section. The oyster section remained empty, and other seafood was not fresh. My stay in this place was less than 30 minutes. Overall, it was the most disappointing place. I can never agree that the quality of this restaurant is run by a five-star hotel.

Amazing breakfast selection, probably up there with Top 3 in KL along with Shangri-la. Even the noodles area has 4 different soup selections including Sarawak Laksa. The best dish was the Dahl along with the Thosai and Roti canai. Pity the Nasi Lemak was dissapointing as the sambal was slightly stale. Great fresh juices area made to order too. Nice Cappuccino too as there is a selection of cow, soya or almond milk!

My review based on our dinner buffet at Latest Recipe that we had last night. I dont even wish to give any stars but I need to put this review. This needs o be improved. We came for 18 pax and additional with 8 kids. We are disappointed as by 8.30pm last night, most of the foods were not being top up. Most of the buffet stations are emptied. Even we asked for the foods whether will it being top up or not, the personnel was not being helpful, he left and did not return to update of the status. That time, there were still a crowd and it seems like there were no signs of foods being top up as only selected foods which we found that it is unacceptable as it does not worth with the amount that we have paid. Even you have short manpower, having cost cutting, or any other technical problem, those are not your customer's problem as WE should deserve with the amount that we have paid.

Variety choices of foods (seafood, Japanese, western, Chinese, India cuisine etc). Most of foods are tasty but some foods especially dim sum like too dry to east. Dessert and fruit station are attractive. Overall the restaurant’s atmosphere and food presentation are pleasant. Complement to the staffs at the restaurant who are very friendly and responsive. Worth to have dinner at here.

Huge spread of food. The day I went, a Vietnamese noodle bar was set up. By and large the food was good but the tandoori chicken was a bit hard. The Japanese station was the highlight for our group. The place gets packed so good to have reservations

Definitely doesn’t worth its price. The buffet dinner time is 4 hours but the food replenish especially seafood like prawn, oyster, sashimi were intentionally slow, after the first round have to wait after 2 hours only can get the seafood replenished abd the crew keep on answering food were under preparation, never thought this was the standard of the 5 star hotels buffet dinner, the food qualify is just okay but not at the same level with the Lemon Garden at Shangri-La but unfortunately were paying the same price 😅

We went to this lovely place with reservation for buffet lunch. Since Christmas is around the corner, we can definitely feel the Christmas vibes upon entering the hotel lobby to the restaurant. There was a variety of local, Japanese & western delights to choose from. Fruit and dessert was nice too. I definitely had a full belly that day. Will come back again.

Get to use Eatigo apps and get 50% discount for dinner buffet.. unfortunately for Ramadhan the most you get only 30% but still a bit cheaper than their early bird price for fasting month. Overall food (baby lamb, small lobster, osyter to name a few) and dessert were delicious and lots of varieties too. The downside was only their drinks such as juice taste like they didn't put any sugar in it. Recommended to go again. By comparison Lemon Garden Cafe is still my favorite buffet place.

Always my go-to choice when I crave for a buffet spread in KL. They always serve a lovely and delicious spread with fresh oysters and sushi. My friends and I always talk about the delicious mashed potato we had during their Christmas Brunch last year. It was phenomenal! The only negative is booking needs to be done a few weeks ahead because the seats are always full. Their customer service is top notch. Keep up the good work!

Had buffet high tea here 3x. Comfortable ambience. Taste of food and variety are consistent. Serves Asian and western cuisine including vegetarian dishes. Suitable for all age range and culture. Good offers and promotion with apps like eatigo, or booking using cimb, maybank or HSBC credit cards up to 50%. Must try. Really worth it

i have previously enjoyed going for their buffet dinners but the f&b team needs to buck up. from the person who took my reservation (liz) to the person who before the appointment (fadzly). liz promised me a private room for my party of 9 when i made the reservation 3 weeks prior to the date, but no such detail was to be found when fadzly called 3 hours before my reservation. if liz had told me straight away there was no room available, it would have given me ample time to find an alternative venue. my wife even called back to double confirm the room reservation. fadzly was unprofessional, rude, had zero empathy, and had no courtesy over the phone. will be a long time before i return, which is a shame as the food has always been satisfying and the chefs deserve kudos for that.

Not a pleasant experience. Even though we made reservations on that day only, doesn't mean that we should be assign to sit "outdoor " which its corridor where people passing by and no aircond. If its normal hotel its fine, but its Le Meridien, if full house then please don't open to other to book. I will say all customers are not deserved to sit outside for dinner, we reach around 6.30 and leave around 7.40pm. Honestly speaking there is still a lot of spaces indoor , just the service attendant not allowed us to enter. For the food the quality is so-so, perhaps 3 star hotel standard. The oyster are not that fresh, the only food impressed was the teppanyaki. Absolutely a bad experience, I have never thought of receiving this kind of service before I go.

The parking facilities are not work after 10pm , if you planning to leave the hotel after 10pm , you parking will not enjoy flat rate price even you have been verified the ticket in the hotel lobby or in the restaurant . It because of the autopay machine is not work and the only choice is pay at the exit , and their staff give u flat rate too even you have been told them u have been verified you parking ticket in the lobby or at the restaurant to get the flat rate .

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the iftar buffet at Latest Recipe, and I must say, it was a truly fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting ambience that made me feel right at home. But of course, the real star of the show was the food. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, ranging from traditional Malay cuisine to international favourites and everything in between. Each dish was expertly prepared and presented, with an emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients. Some of my personal favourites included the succulent roasted lamb, the flavourful biryani rice, and the delectable seafood dishes. But really, every dish I tried was delicious and satisfying, with a perfect balance of flavours and textures. And of course, no iftar buffet would be complete without an array of sweet treats to indulge in. The dessert selection at Latest Recipe did not disappoint, with a mouth-watering assortment of cakes, pastries, and traditional Malay sweets to choose from. Overall, I would highly recommend the iftar buffet at Latest Recipe, Le Meridien Putrajaya. The quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the attentive service all came together to create a truly memorable dining experience. Whether you're looking to break your fast with family and friends or simply enjoy a delicious meal, this buffet is not to be missed.

Second Marriott buffet we had in 2024, after Westin desaru. A few times more selection and better overall quality than Westin desaru. Definitely worth every penny. The aglio olio was super b. Salmon Sashimi was good although one of it had skin on it. Freshly cut vegetable was good as well. Selection of fruits and sauces are well over my expectation as well. Dessert selection was super b, decoration and quality was also top notch for a buffet. The only down side was oysters refilling was very slow in the first 1 hour but still acceptable. Will definitely come back ✌️

We used the Eatigo app for a discount during a weekday night. I was thoroughly delighted at the cold seafood on offer as other restaurants seem to have seafood offered on weekends. I got stuck into the cold seafood, salted egg stir fry prawns and sichuan pepper crab dishes big time. A great range of desserts on offer but the apple sorbet was my favourite after stuffing my face with so much seafood!

Was looking forward to trying their breakfast buffet however my excitement did not match to the quality of the food that was served. There was a cold fridge filled with smoothies and juices and was disgusted with the banana smoothie because it had gone bad and became sour. I informed a member of staff but the banana smoothie was still being served. Overall, there was a huge variety of local and international food served. The staff were all very polite and prompt with request. The pastries were mediocre at best, the freshness in the croissants and the flakiness was not there which was a huge let down. At best I would rate their breakfast buffet a 3/5.

Visited for buffet dinner during a Friday night. There are variety of foods available from Chinese, indian, malay, western and Japanese food. The good thing is about the sashimi are fresh and always refilled. However, I find most of the dishes under seasoned and too salty. The soy sauce that comes along with wasabi for sashimi is also too salty. It doesn't taste like the right sauce to go with.

Booked the Santapan room package for my dad for two nights and the buffet came with the package. Even though some of the food offerings were similar, somehow the dinner buffet tonight (Monday night) was tastier and had more Malay desserts than last night (Sunday). Pros: thick sashimi, Indian food, salad and Malay desserts Cons: the tempura shrimp took forever to come out and some selfish guests took more than they should. The executive chef (big, fat White guy) manning the grill was rude and sarcastic when I asked for a piece of roasted chicken. Speaking of rude attitude, I observed three rude chefs speaking to the customers in a demeaning manner, myself included. This is the only restaurant I’ve been to where the chefs are allowed to show their anger at their customers. The guests that came in tonight were mostly partaking in company dinners and had no manners: no queueing, pushed to go to the front of the line, overloaded their plates with the rare dishes like sashimi and shrimp tempura…seriously, the kids who frequented the buffet yesterday had more manners than the so-called adults today. Other than the unpleasant observation of ill-mannered people (chefs and customers alike), we had a good dinner and the staff who manned our table (#39) were very pleasant and helpful. They even provided a birthday cake to my dad- kudos to them and Ms Arbaa at the front desk for the great service! I probably won’t ever come back to this restaurant on the basis of the whole unpleasantness of getting jostled by impatient diners and having to deal with chefs who have anger management problems.

  • 3/5 Sean T. 11 months ago on Google
Overall, the food is ok. Some were just not up to standard like the tempura. Just look at the picture and it’s a joke. No taste, just pure batter.

Made reservations and bought fave vouchers for my husband's birthday one month ahead. Was told 3 days beforehand that there will be no buffet on the date due to shortage of reservations. I have been to five star hotels that provide buffets to less than 10 pax. Avoid unless youre walking in or call before you go .

My family and I always enjoy ourselves with the dinner buffet here. It has a spacious feel. The international spread is prepared with passion and not just with all sorts of "filler" type of dishes you sometimes get at other buffet places. I particularly like the Indian and Japanese spread. My kids absolutely love the desserts, the froyo and fondue bar.. If you have certain credit cards, you get a good discount to make your meal even more worth it...
