It is a bit challenging to find a good Spanish restaurant here. The option is limited. Come here to visit based on the good reviews.Ordered several dishes of tapas. The portion is fine and you will fill up eventually. The service is good, staff will keep checking in if you need anything. There are indoor and outdoor sittings. Also spacious not too close to the next table. Foodwise some are better than others.Overall can give a try.

Use to be my first choice for western pork cuisine. However I was disappointed with Sunday buffet lunch . Waitress messed our orders, food served not fulfilling according to our list ordered. V have to Keep monitor our order updates which not served, Some dishes never served even until we settled bill. Fedup! Order for 4 persons same dish but served combined in a plate n portion looks only for 2. Guess is the management tactic for buffet meal. Last visit to this shop. Food standard deteriorated. 😞

We had the New Year's brunch buffet and it was amazing! I liked the main dishes, the salad and pistachios ice cream! It was not a regular buffet where there are big or long tables where you will get the food but you will have to fill out a form each time you want to order anything from the buffet menu then they will serve it to you. Maybe due to Covid that's why they have arranged it this way. The service was great! You do not have to wait long to serve the food. We will definitely be back!

The food here is exceptional not only in taste, but also presentation. We ate with a friend who is Spanish and he said it was the most authentic Spanish food & experience he has had outside of Spain. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Their attention to detail & customer service is the best we have experienced in all of Malaysia.

Dined in during dinner hours in April '23. As we walked in without a prior reservation, we were seated outdoors, as indoor seating had been reserved earlier by the majority of guests who made reservations. It was my first time trying this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience was somewhat disappointing. Ordered the Jamon Iberico de Bellota El Pata Negra, and the ham was excessively salty. The rock melon was served in ball sizes, resulting in no ham wrapping around the melon when served. Additionally, there was an excess of olive oil, which I found unnecessary, given that the Iberico ham is already quite salty. It didn't quite meet my liking. The oven-roasted Spanish Iberico spare ribs, touted as their signature dish, left much to be desired. The spare ribs were bland and came with apple and pineapple sauce, which had a taste I found difficult to describe. I didn't feel it paired well with the spare ribs, and I wouldn't recommend this dish. The plate featuring four mini sausages was also disappointing, falling short when compared to authentic German sausages. On a positive note, the staff members were friendly. However, in terms of pricing, it is definitely above average / slightly high. While I've seen many positive reviews about this restaurant, perhaps what is most signature is the piglet. We did not try this round because there were only two people, and the portion would have been too large.

Excellent food and great service. Highly recommend the bruschetta and the mountain paella. The only negative (and I'm not removing stars for it because it might have been a one time thing) is that it got very hot the longer we were there. Before the restaurant filled up the AC was coping but by the end it was cooler outside.

Nice ambience and good service. Food was delicious. Using the plates to cut the roast piglet was pretty clever, and the waiter explaining the significance of the tradition. A bit on the pricey side of you get what you paid for, great food, good service and a really nice atmosphere. We had the caesar salad, sausage platter, oven baked ribs, Guinness braised ribs and roast piglet. Sangria was so so, I've had better. Overall a good experience, will return for celebratory dinners with big groups.

The place is unique with all the piggy. Spanish in nature, boast in its pork and various other meats served. Menu is well rounded. Main menu and shared meals like paella and roasted pork. Only thing is sangria is not too huge as expected. Thankfully had the entertainer for a good price. Loved the birthday experience here. Should try next time. Overall a good experience.

1️⃣ Food size and taste: We (3 males in early 20s) ordered the Sausage Platter, and the serving size was more than sufficient for 3 of us, but could be a stretch to fill 4 people’s stomachs. It tasted good but not something unexpectedly great - it’s sausage and potato mesh after all. For RM100, I wouldn’t call it the best deal in the world. 2️⃣ Location: It’s located at the heart of Bukit Bintang and almost impossible to find a car park even at 5 pm. Would recommend taking Grab or Taxi there instead. 3️⃣ Service: The service was great, although it could because we were the only 3 customers present at 5pm Sunday. We were served complimentary drinks (one shot of slightly sales white wine) after we paid the bill. Overall, it’s a pleasant dining experience. Would recommend as a meet-up place for family and friends, but maybe not the first dating site for couple as the humour conveyed by the restaurant was slightly awry - it’s decorated everywhere with cheerful pigs, the cute animal that would be served on your table.

Located at the heart of Bukit Bintang along the bar street, a bit difficult to find a car park here. Suggest taking Grab or Taxi drop by. Order a cold appetiser - Iberico half ham served with rock melon balls and garden green. A bit pricey, it only taste & smell salty & the texture was so so. The Iberico ham suppose to have some oily, nutty / acorn / fruity fragrance flavour and melting texture as well. Farmer's sausage comes with Bratwurst (German sausage), sauerkraut & mash potatoes. The sausage was well grilled, texture was crunchy on the outside, juicy, soft & tender on the inside. We were served complimentary drinks (one mini small tequila shot) after we paid the bill. Overall, it’s a nice place to social with friends & family. Recommend to try their roasted ribs & steak.

My friends and I visited this restaurant during our vacation. It was a satisfying experience overall. The food quality was decent. The free bread was served with pork paste and it was roasted well, crispy outside and soft inside. We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 main courses. The grilled squid and grilled vegetables tasted fresh. The signature sausage and shoulder steaks were tender. The omni vegan steak was suprisingly juicy and taste well with the black pepper sauce. And the side dishes tasted good that we cleared every dish. And a complemented drink was given after finishing all the dishes. The environment was nice. The floor was clean, not sticky or slippery. The table is spacious and I like the salt lamp on the table. The serivce was satisfying. The waitor cleared the table after we finished 1 dish and served the next dish. The serve order and flow are standard.

Good food. Gambas al ajillo, paella traditional mixta, chorizo al vino etc… went for dinner and its good for sharing. Cant complain about the food. Minus one for the slow service. Could be better. The staff tho are friendly. Dont forger to sign up on their werners program to get discount on your next dine in to any of their sister’s company. I got 25 rm discount from joining at whisky bar. I think the pork knuckle would be great too. Would try that next time.

Disappointing. Based on the high ratings, I was expecting good food but what came out was average at best. The Iberico ribs and the pork steak were not only bland but tough and bone dry. The portion served was also very small, almost child sized. At least the Mountain Paella was nicely done and tasty. I feel the place is highly overrated, very expensive, ridiculously overpriced, and I left still feeling hungry which is a disgrace considering I had paid in excess of RM500 for the food.

We had difficulty looking for the restaurant, probably because it's close to CNY so they decorated the restaurant with lotsa Chinese decor. We thought it's a Chinese restaurant and walk passed it several times. Enjoyed the food. Suckling piglet and paella was my favourite. Oh their juice was refreshing too! Price definitely on the higher side. Great for celebrations.

We ordered the knuckles, turned into super crispy & tasty! Gosh, i guess that was the best we ever have. We had also pasta (don’t remember the name) but blew my mind away ... the sauce & the chunks of pork belly were so melting me down! Portion was big, price is above average but i guess worthy. Plus they gave complimentary shots for closing our dine.

Great dining experience and good menu selections even for the choosy water. While pork is the main star here, they do have beef, lamb and seafood option. Service is fast, taste is good. Priced accordingly.

6 of us came here from out of town and it was recommended by a lot of our local friends. The address for a Grab driver was a bit confusing. It might easily walk towards the restaurant. We ordered a half roast pig to share. The skin was so crispy, the waitress was able to chop the meat with a white plate. She later showed us how to chop the pig. We ordered a sausage platter, meatballs, garlic shrimps. All the food was so good. We ordered a few sangria to share as well. Really fun experience!

Came for the Christmas Bubblylicious Brunch buffet which serves endless servings of food and prosecco. Ordered almost all of the available dishes to try. Foods are great in terms of the taste, texture and presentations. Services are great as well. Staffs are very attentive, friendly and polite. Prices are OK as well. Just that the foods took some time to be served as it is ala carte buffet. Recommended place.

I ate in this restaurant maybe 6-7 times. And I never order any other food than the piglet. The pig is only 6 week old. Actually I pity the pig. But its taste is really extraordinary. My friend said when he was eating he felt as if he was in heaven. Very recommended. I definitely will come again if I go to KL. The ice cream (rum and raisin) is also very delicious.

Yummy food nice atmosphere, their speciality is whole suckling pig and they have photos of pigs around the room so not for those who may be a bit sensitive to that. Service was excellent and they were very patient waiting for the kids. Quite pricey but a nice place for a celebration! Would have liked more sides considering they suggested a half pig was for around 3 people.

Ordered gambas con bacon, mountain paella and grilled pork shoulder steak. The gambas and paella were both good, but the pork shoulder steak was a bit dry, nevertheless i like the mashed potatoes that comes with it. My boyfriend was happy when the waitress overheard us talking and suprised him with a birthday cake and singing to him loudly in the resto. Thanks for this. We will try the conchinillo next time as i wanted to experience the breaking of the plates.🤭

They look like a good restaurant, service is very nice, but food is barely average. Signature pork steak was so so, with good mashed potatos, sausage was just garbage, I didn't even finish it. (except for squid with garlic sauce, that was really good). If they'll bring you yellow shots in the end, don't drink them. Secret Briyani, that costed almost 10 times cheaper was 10 times better.

Loved El Cerdo. I lived in Spain for years and it brought back fond memories. Cochinillo was excellent. Paella was just average, flavors weren't quite right but I'm used to the smokiness of cooking paella over an open fire which this version didn't have. Lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by

If you are planning to visit here, please prepare a plan B. The food are super salty, portion is small ( I'm a small eater), and highly overpriced. We can hardly taste anything but salt. The environment is too noisy for us and there are plates being smashed everywhere around me, and it was very unpleasent. We left with almost empty stomach and painful ears. Parking is inconvenient, as expected for this area.

Came back here after 11 years and it is still as good as I remembered it to be, even better maybe! The seafood pasta, the squid ink paella and pork ribs are a definite must to order! If you can still go for another one, get the sausage platter! Thank you for the complimentary cake and desserts, really thoughtful of the team to be putting the extra touch to brighten up the birthday boy. Just remember to make reservation, it can get crowded towards the weekend!

Ordered the seafood paella. Written as portion for 3 but 2 of us finish with not problem 😂 taste good. Seafood is considerably fresh. Price is okay for a (rare) once in a while treat. Waiting time for paella is not as long as stated on the menu. I booked a table through their website but it wasn’t crowded when I went during the weekdays. I suggest for you to book a table through their website just in case.

Love the ambiance, food and service. Everything is top notch. We had: 1. Caesar Salad ( love the garlic anchovies topping), 2. Royal Paella Traditional Mixta ( for 3-4 people, must order dish if you want to try traditional Spanish dish), 3. FRITO DE QUESO MANCHEGO CON JAMÓN SERRANO - the tomato jam is really amazing. 4. ALBONDIGAS IBÉRICO - spanish ibérico meatballs toasted with homemade tomato sauce and fresh herbs. 5. BACON “BOQUERONES” - fried bacon rolls filled with white wine marinated anchovies served with tartar sauce 6. SAUTEED SPICY SAUSAGE -with chilli, onion, garlic and bacon Dessert would be - 7. Churros Con Chocolate; Churros was freshly made and warm dark chocolate souce. Yum! 8. Home Made Tiramisu ( with touch of Mango souce) The above list first for a group of 4 to 5 people.

Beside, the design and the decoration of the restaurant also good like 5 star hotel. The service also very good and efficient. The staff were professional and friendly to the customer. The food also great and standard. I feel like eating at standard Hotel. The price was expensive but worth it. So, I recommend people to try this food and enjoy it. Friendly staff with comfy ambiance. Kudos to Sunny who was so attentive throughout our dinning experience. Came for a random New Year celebration dinner with my significant half, ordered El Cerdo Pasta and Shoulder Steak. The olive oil used to cook the pasta seemed a lil too much. Just be mindful that if you ain’t really a big fan of pork, you might find the dishes smell too strong of a pork. Authentic Spanish food, had a paella and a pork ribs iberico, very tasty and nice presentation. The waiter served us with a very friendly manner. We were here for a birthday celebration, got a complimentary cheesecake and two shots of alcohol, the cheesecake taste really good and I can say it’s outperforming the bakeries out there. Overall it was a very excellent experience, give it a go if you want to have a decent Spanish cuisine and high level of customer service.

In a season of pandemic and people trying to make themselves stand out... El Cerdo definitely is not. The first impression count and my experiences with floor manager Zaza is disappointing. Her body language truly seem disinterested to serve. We all wear mask but it doesn't mean we can't smile true our eye, she seem cold... A trainee name Jojo truly smile with her eye behind the mask! Now the food... as for the food, its disappointing. The pork spare ribs was chewy and tough plus it seems a day old, frozen and regrill. The beef ghoulish was burn and bitter after taste. I know people rave about the place but I doubt I would recommend anyone or return.

If you want to eat good pork, this is definitely the place. Cooked nicely maintaining the moisture. Price is reasonable as well - 5 stars. But I give 3 stars because.. what kind of restaurant still charges for water now? I had to pay for a bottle or mineral water..

Occasional visit for their pork dishes. Suckling pig and foot long sausage is must order. There is special ceremony to cut your piglet to enjoy your dining experience. Free valet parking is provided per car for over RM100 spending. Overall service is great, environment is good, ingredients are fresh, cooking are delicious. Pricing slightly high but worth it. Spent RM360 for 3 pax dining. We had half piglet, El Cerdo Foot long sausage, fried squid, 3 plain rice, tea and beer.

In a season of pandemic and people trying to make themselves stand out... El Cerdo definitely does. First impressions count and my experiences with floor manager Zaza was very good. Not that I was checking out her body or body language however I did notice she and all the staff were smiling behind their masks... A trainee name Jojo truly smile with her eye behind the mask! Now the food... as for the food, it is very very good. The pork spare ribs was really good. The beef ghoulish or beef stew was very very nice also. I know people rave about the place I can see why anyone would return. My friends Adrian, Nicoli and Vincent all loved it. :P)

The main dishes of my visit was as good as it promised, succulent meat with crispy skin, although the flavour would quick become dull after a few serving, but it was great nevertheless. The restaurant was packed with patrons during my visit and the servers were just so helpful and polite, which deserves additional credit for my evening celebration. The price was no doubt within the premium range, but the portions were sufficient to fill your stomach. Another highlight was the ice cream / sorbet dessert made in house, which adds a perfect note after a greasy feast of meat.

A place for pork lovers. The gulash interpretation here comes more or less close to the authentic Hungarian dish; the meat is slow cooked, juicy and very tender. Also the shoulder steak was served on point. The potato salade that came with it was a refreshing combination. A place that deserves a second visit for the signature suckling pig.

Good location, although can be a bit noisy when sat on the terrace. Great food, high quality ingredients. Staff very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Prices in the medium high range. I'll definitely return

Ordered food in for my sister’s birthday as she loves Spanish food. El Cerdo’s was amazing! Best paella we’ve ever had and the sausage platter was to die for. We also had the pork liver pate - I’ve never been a liver fan - I am now - so good! Thanks to the team for making this such a memorable meal for us.

Quite a cozy restaurant in a happening street at night. Food are overall tasted good and service are efficient as well. In terms of beer price is slightly higher, maybe this is in the KL city area so that price much higher than other place.

Been to this place a couple of times over the years. Love the place for the piglet. It is a unique experience getting to cut the piglet using the plate and then shattering it. The sausage is also very delicious.

It's been a long while since our last visit. Went to celebrate mom's birthday this round. Food as good still, staff was friendly and helpful, overall experience was great. Family was happy. Staff sang bday song too, thanks! Though we went on a weekday, the place was still quite crowded! They introduce a program that provides some discount and cashback, so don't forget to register prior to visiting! Also, reservation can be made online, and free valet parking nearby too (with spend above RM100 per car. Make the reservation online and the staff will share details.

Love this place for dine ins. Decided to take away once for a birthday celebration. Definitely don’t do take away. The pig has to be eaten fresh at the restaurant. Quite horrible as a takeout. Not their fault as I know their food is damn good when it’s had at the restaurant itself.

Busy environment, special on crispy piglet with the tradition. The piglet still has the heavy smell, luckily the sauce come in late which able to cover the smell. Price range not match up with the food quality

The place was a little difficult to spot with so many restaurants around and the signboard was not obvious from the roadside. Once arrived we were well greeted by the usher Esther at the entrance who ensured our bought-in cake was immediately taken care of. We were served by Martin who patiently explained the menu, took and repeat the orders. The food arrived promptly and generally we were happy with it except that the seafood freshness could be improved. Being a birthday dinner Martin arranged for our cake to be specially placed with complimentary shots of cocktail for all pax, plus a slice of their in house cake. Throughout the dinner the service were very good and Martin ensured our group was well taken care of. Complimentary valet parking was about 100m away but a paid parking was available nearby at RM20. Overall we were happy with the food and especially the service and Martin and that made it worth the price for that.

Honestly, for the high price, the food is only decent and not great. The pork dishes themselves are nothing special for such an expensive price. Would go somewhere else for this type of food with better flavour and cheaper prices. Service is excellent though, and so are the cakes.

With this portion, the price is counted reasonable. The pork knuckle is big enough for 2~4 persons. The pork chop of the spaghetti is good! Strongly recommended!

Great experience at this restaurant, an Icon on Changkat road. Great service by the staff accomodating our varied party, amazing food with jamon iberico, paella and roast piglet, and some of the best wines available in Malaysia which are well kept. Unfortunately many restaurants do not, or have not kept their wines well ;( but these guys have. And a nice fruit platter for the kids.

First try Spanish food, appreciate the food but might not suit my family taste. However, i would like to commend on the service by Aiza. She was friendly and attentive. It was my mum birthday and we didnt specifically request for anything but she gave us a surprise with free cake on the house and few shots of drinks. Really appreciated that.

Fantastic place. It’s German-owned with a strong Spanish twist. The menu generally European and that means “authentic” European. The feta salad is superb for Asian standards (I’d just reduce the lemon a little bit and find a real feta cheese), the pork neck steaks is as per German standard very high level. The Churros with chocolate easily the best I have ever tried outside Spain (and that was a lot 🤣 ). You also get invited to a chupito/shot when you finish. Add to this good and affordable wine, Spanish music for the ambience and a super cute blond Asian waitress 😍. I love the place 🥰

Recommend the el cerdo farmer's sausages, roasted suckling piglet the best.. half piglet for 2/3 persons and also grilled vege.. yummy..

just started with the salad, haven’t tried the 🐷main dish. But the salad is so horrible, cant wait to leave my review. Mind blowing amount of sauce pre-blended into the salad. It’s actually drinking garlic sauce rather than eating salad
