Amazing food.Real authentic Indian taste.Rates are also very attractive as compare to food quality. The service is also good.Loved dishes Especially Pani Puri we had after year. Must visit if you want to try real taste of India. It's around 30-50 RM per person depending on how hungry you are or how adventurous you are to try things. I have had all starters and loved each one..... Must try VADA PAAV, sizzlers.

50m above the ground with the view of the city and a great three course dinner. Starter: fresh mozzarella w rocket salad drizzled with pesto Main course: chicken with sweet potato mash, glazed carrots and sauce Dessert: mango panacotta with coconut truffle and raspberry coolie with sugar curls A dinner worth the value. Good music. Price per person: 300 rm + Highly recommend it. Great for romantic dinners and birthday celebration.

Not bad, not bad at all. Nice place to sit and have some indian vegetranian fare. The aloo paratha was good, the papri chaat needed more substance less yogurt and the biryani was tasty. A bit overpriced though.

A good friend recommended this place to meet up for dinner last week and we all agreed it was a good choice. This is a perfect spot for vegetarians and vegans. They also have plenty of gluten free options as well. The dishes are served piping hot and the scent of all the spices really makes you hungry. The menu is quite extensive and everything is categorised neatly. Perusing their menu is fun and the servers are very patient to explain what each dish is all about. The venue is large and airy and the floor to ceiling glass panels allows a lot of natural light. Parking is available right outside and depending on the peak hours, one can literally park in front of the restaurant.

One of our favourite Indian restaurant in Kuala Lumpur and it's a heaven for vegan & vegetarian people. The food is fresh and tasty, we really love their Tandoori Platter, Sizzler and Cheese' Enchilada. They have a great range of Indian sweets and snacks as well.

Sorry to say this restaurant was a bit of disappointment. We 5 taught it was a good option since we were 3 vegans in the group. The options were good but the food lacked the class n taste of good cuisine. To be fair none of us opted for North Indian dishes so that left us thinking that we ordered wrongly and maybe that was their specialty. Nevertheless they should not have done better with other dishes. Can try once. Good ambience. Service poor. Tastiness at most average or below average.

This restaurant was in my to-visit list for a long time and I recently have the chance to tick it off. We ordered palak paneer, cheesy roasted brocolli, briyani, puri, and garlic butter naan, all of which were delicious. However, the prices are on the high side, especially for the drinks. The chai tea, for example, cost RM10 for a small cup, which seemed a bit steep. Despite the pricing concern, I still enjoyed my dining experience and plan to revisit to further explore their extensive menu.

diverse vegetarian menu, helpful service, having the feeling of chilling here, although price a bit pricy for me, but in Bangsar luxury neighborhood, not much can complain. If you like a drink, an Indian vibe place or a vegetarian menu, this is the place.

Food is up to standard. Quality vegetarian place. Service was fast just that they forgot our puri ordered. It came out very fast after we reminded them

My first time here with my family yesterday and it was not a pleasant experience. We ordered our food around 11:30am, in total about 7 or 8 dishes. First 2 dishes came rather quick, within 15 minutes. Then the rest we waited for about 45 minutes. When asked the waiter to check with the kitchen on why the food was taking so long (when there’s only 2 tables in the whole restaurant), I was told there was another 2 table having take away , that’s why our food takes longer. But does “having take away foods” a valid reason for your kitchen to take so long? Mind you our table have 3 children as well. The food was over seasoned with spices and salt also. Not to mention the bill came up to 2xx, which is pretty ridiculous for vegan food. I will not and will definitely not recommend my friends to come.

29th Nov 2020 - Updating my review to 5 stars based on my experience in the last 3 visits which were after my previous negative review. Keep it up. Older: Tasty food. Great menu. Usually, the staff are fast and prompt. Have been visiting this place occasionally. Latest being 3 days back and again a couple of hours back today. We always dine together with family. 2 adults and 2 kids. Had a bad experience dealing with a guy today, who seemed to be related to the owner. After the initial order, asked him (because he was the closest) for two extra chapattis. He forgot to intimate the other waiters or the kitchen and on the whole it took 20-25 mins to get them after a reminder. By then the curry was cold as ice. We tried to explain this to the gentleman who received the payment. He was unapologetic and justified the delay; same as the above mentioned person. Worst part is, the owner who was also sitting right on the next table was least bothered about these issues or about us. She seems to be welcoming/conversing with the guests purely based on skin colour and attire. Unlike other similar vegetarian restaurants around, where the owner(s) treat/wish the customers well and the staff are sometimes busy, it's the opposite here. Of course I would not have had the expectation of a better customer service if the restaurant isn't pricy. What should have been an excellent experience because of the tasty food, it was just the opposite because of the above.

Awesome food... Real authentic Indian taste... Rates are also very attractive as compare to food quality. The servers are also good.... Loved all starters ..... Especially Pani Puri we had after year..... Loved it. Must visit if you want to try real taste of India. It's around 30-50 RM per person depending on how hungry you are or how adventurous you are to try things. I have had all starters and loved each one..... What to improve??? 1. Consistency: 1.1 I have visited thrice and each time I have ordered veg dry Manchurian the presentation was different but the important thing is it's deteriorating. Consistency is a key. 1.2 Taste on above point when presentation changes the taste also changes as you did things differently. Still I likes it all 3 times. 2. You are using table cloth made of paper I know it's easy to replace and throwaway, but it does not suit WTF restaurant. I didn't like it at all. As of now this 2 major concerns I have.... Later I can let you know when I visit again.... Regards Viral

The best papadom i have ever had! *drops mic* - Few tips here 1. this place is pack, call to make reservations. 2. parking is very limited, take grab. 3. Food is awesome though Vegetarian, this is not to be visited on diet day. 4. On the pricey side. 5. dont be like me, i forgot to order sizzling nasi lemak.

I love that it's got a wide array of selection with a focus on indian cuisine. I had the vegetarian burger, which was unbelievably delicious - love the synergy of spices from the patty, as well as, the hot plate signature nasi lemak. Personally the nasi lemak didn't do it for me. The sides (sambal, tofu and long beans) had no distinct flavours to themselves as they all tasted the same- spicy and tangy. I think it's because the base of the tofu and long beans was the same with the sambal. If the 3 sides all tasted different, perhaps they would complement the nasi better. All in all, it's worth checking this place out and form your own opinions about it! :) Ps. No pic of the vegetarian burger as I devoured it too quickly ahaha

Great Indian vegetarian place tucked away at the corner lot. The black lentil daal is a must order. Same with the Pulau rice and cheese naan. Mango laasi is excellent too. First place I dined out post lockdown and what a feast i got here!

Worth the experience! The staff are courteous, the food is great but most especially, the view of Malaysia's business district is magnificent, especially the twin towers just being a few blocks away. Do note that the KL tower is being blocked mostly but can still be seen a bit compared to the advertisement. The only one preventing me from getting it into 5 star is the venue itself is less presentable. The parking space leading to the entrance proper is made of stones and rubble. But maybe this is there way not to jack up the price, after all you will not be staying on the ground. The food i would say is good. We had chicken and beef. And while the chicken stands out than the fillet mignon, I would give kudos to the yam as the side dish.

The worst part of a beautiful honeymoon in KL. The view was ok, the novelty was there and that's about it. The food was REALLY bad. My beef was completely uncooked. When questioned, the chef said that this is how they cook it. Pics attached to prove. The guy sitting next to me had his food cooked better. Unfortunately I ate a few bits of it first and then realised how bad it was. I felt sick for the rest of the trip. If you read this, you have been warned. Save your money and go up the menara instead. Edit: They somehow got my photo removed so I have posted it up again.

A mix of Indian & Asian food. Great taste, perfectly curated dishes by the restaurantner with consistent flavours. The bruschetta with their twist on the home salsa is a perfect blend of sweet, sour & spicy. Their bruschettas are not your regular bread topped with salsa. Try it to know the difference. The nasi lemak sizzler is perfect for sharing or great for one as well... there can never be too much nasi lemak. The rice is light, accompanied by a good portion of long beans veg, sambal, tempe & tofu sambal...for the crunch there's fried shallots & cucumber. The satay is another amazing dish...no other veg satay is comparable. Once again, try it to know the variance. The peanut sauce is well made & adequate quantity is served. Another must-have is the dahi papdi chaat...the tangy tamarind & green chutney with the crunch of puri & yoghurt topped with potatoes & onions...heaven on earth! Chilli paneer is perfect as a side dish with drinks or an accompaniment with the main meal. The paneer is soft & moist & the sauce makes it a perfect combo. There are many other dishes to try. Do ask their friendly waiters for suggestions. Eggless cakes & biscuits variety are also impressive. They are also known for their sweetmeats. You can have it all here without going to India! A regular joint for comfort food. Will be heading there again!

Me and my partner came here thinking it was a western restaurant, and to our shock that it is a north Indian restaurant, thankfully we have a young chap here name Chirag, who was very friendly and kind to recommend us 2 main course, I don't know & Surprise me, I really don't know what is the name and what not, but I assure you that we weren't disappointed. Will come back again and kudos to Chirag 🥰🥰🥰 thanks for your service

The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. We were greeted and seated upon entering. The server assisted us as we had some questions about the menu. The food arrived timely and we were please with the quality, taste and amount of food. It was also a good value for the price. We left satisfied and happy.

What a Treasure For real My heart is so touched by this establishment. I wanted to drop by for such a while but couldn't. Nonetheless, today I received a jolt of inspired action....and my oh my am I so delighted to indulge in the intentionally mended flavors that ignite all of my senses. From the beautiful restaurant's ascetics to the warm and friendly welcoming of the crew, to the light and airy atmosphere wrapped up with the tasty and elegantly crafted food.... I am in awe. Most commendable is Mr. Guna's perfect attention to detail in guiding the kitchen to accommodate my health needs. What a beautiful place to enjoy a gastronomic feast and compassionate work crew to honor your very presence 🙏 Gratitude in the highest! Do yourself a favor and indulge in this delectable vegan and vegetarian majesty ✨

Awesome place to enjoy a fine meal, and to your heart's content! Its the best restaurant for Northern Indian cuisine in Malaysia. Don't miss these during your next or first visit... Dahi Ki Sholay, Nasi Lemak Sizzler, Paneer Burji, Pulkha roti, adrak chai, masala chai. There's a long list to share but these few will do for the moment, to begin with from me!

It is a very good place for vegetarians. I have had food here multiple times. Simply the masala tea is good along with many varieties of pakodas like veggies or paneer. I enjoyed the palak chat. vada pao was also very nice. Paneer butter masa with naan is also a must try. Mushroom items are also very good. Cheers. Keep up the good work.

The food was tasty but.. the waiters seems to have gotten the orders wrong / mixed up. We ordered 2 thosais, but was given 1. We ordered 3 dishes, but only 2 arrived - although we got the waiter to repeat his orders to us. The time it takes to get out our first cup of Masala tea, took more than 10mins. The tea cups were not presentable - seen from the photos. One was delivered with dirty plate and it stuck to the table paper while the other you can see tea spilled by the sides.

Come for the experience. The food was very average. The service was nice, safe, and I enjoyed the fact that you could really twist your seat so your hands can't feel any chairs and tables and push your seat all the way down. It felt quite exhilarating, and I enjoyed it. Would have loved more pictures on the menu so I could make my choice better because the food was not amazing, but overall I enjoyed it a fair bit.

It was a awesome Valentine for us. Once in a lifetime dining in the sky experience. The food is amazing. Food Deco and food quality are fantastic. Chef is from 5 star hotel. But the food portion is small. The best section is around 7-8pm. You can experience from sunset till the night of the city. Personally I'm terrified of heights, at the beginning I'm not comfortable. But after 10 min, I already used to it so I can enjoy the view of city. Overall it is worth to try and give your partner a memorable dinning experience.

This restaurant is overrated. I read the reviews in Google and thought of giving it a try. One thing for sure their service is horrible. I waited for almost 15 mins to be served. However I was delighted when the food arrived quickly. I waited for my tea for so long and even after finishing my food, they still did not serve me my tea. I asked them and waited for almost 10 mins and still was not served with the tea. Finally I had to cancel my order. Overall the food is pricey and there’s definitely better Indian restaurant with excellent service. This will be my only visit!

The restaurant had a nice interior, and friendly staffs. The foods over here was authentic and really really tasty, it was like flavour bombs in your mouth with everything. The 2 of us went there, ordered 2 Dahi Papdi Chaat = RM 40, 2 Vada Pau = RM 20, 1 Paneer Butter Masala = RM 28, 1 Butter Naan = RM 7, 1 Puri Set = RM 6, 2 Ice Cream Falooda = RM 40, and 2 Water = RM 8. The waiting time after the orders were minimal, and the service was professional however I did find 2 strands of hairs, one in the Ice Cream Falooda, and one in the Dahi Papdi Chaat. Our total for the dinner came RM 149, and now to the worst part of the restaurant, we were charged RM 178 for the payment, which means we were charged RM 29 for just service fees, which was ridiculous compared to even 5 star restaurants and services that we have been to, and this wasn’t personal, everyone who dines in will be charged the same amount, which is honestly robbing people, however other then that we had a great time in the restaurant, the food was great and authentic and we were really extra full by the end of our dining. Adequate Parking space available too outside, if you are not visiting during peak hours.

Vada pav and cheese pav bhaji are quite good. Samose chhole chat is awesome. Must try! Ask to add yogurt on the top of it. Tawa sizzler & mango lassi were also decent. Although a bit pricey but the authentic food taste makes this place a must visit!

One of the best vegetarian Indian restaurants I’ve been to! Come here if you’d like to explore Indian fusion fares. Brinjal bruschetta, bhindi masala (ladyfingers), baigan bharta (smoked brinjal) and paneer were my highlights. Could really taste the fresh ingredients and easily tell that the dishes were prepared from the heart. If you have a sweet tooth, do not miss their Ras Malai (paneer balls soaked in saffron milk), Kulfi, and Gulab Jamun. Some context: we had reserved a tasting experience with the owner as we’d like to engage their catering service. The owner Priti came by and introduced each dish to us with much enthusiasm. She enlightened us with knowledge about identifying the subtle differences between North Indian and South Indian cuisines. Her thoughtful gestures and warm hospitality truly left a lasting impression on us and we’ll definitely come back again with family or friends!

Unprofessional and rude service. Booked reservation via eatigo and at door step manager told there is no discount. With no courtesy to call and inform in advance. I could have still had my lunch without discount but the behaviour of staff (manager) the way he communicate is so rude so it’s better to walk away. He said in one line no discount because system issue and turned around and continued to eat and busy with his handphone. The waiter had to go back to him and ask him to explain to us as we were blankly standing at the door.

Very expensive but tasty Indian food, but you're paying to eat in an air conditioned Bangsar outlet with a hip name. Didn't try so much of the menu so can't comment on most of it. Packed full house on a weekend, fancy multi-racial and affluent clientele.

To say the best, will sound as if I am over-exaggerating. To say a decent meal, I believe will be more appropriate. Choices of food aplenty. Can be regarded as spoiled for choice. Whereas ambiance is certainly well maintained and classy. Service? Nothing to complain about. Portion of the vegetable Biryani, wah, can fit two people. The side dishes on the contrary, okay. Dessert? The kulfi? Seriously, if can go slow on the sugar content?

The price is very expensive nevertheless worth the experience.

(Translated by Google) It was a great birthday present experience. It is located within walking distance of KL C and we had to walk due to the heavy rush hour traffic around this location. It looks a bit like a temporary construction. There was a warm and easy welcome in a sort of living room. We bought a drink. The prices are affordable. After sitting in comfortable armchairs and fastening the belts, the whole construction of the dining table rises very quickly, without shaking, without scaring at all. The view is great, the music is cool, the food was very good and the 1 hour goes by too fast. There are many staff for security and service. Thank you so much guys for this fantastic experience. The experience of dinning in Mid-Air is not just an experience full of adventure and fun but also requires lot of effort and coordination. Dinner in the Sky strives to strike a perfect balance of providing an adventurous dinning experience without being gimmicky. Good food, good music, hardworking attendants and adventure fused so well that it's impossible to not enjoy the whole experience. They have a set menu which is priced based on three and five course meal. We chose to go for a three course that comprised of a welcome drink, a salad / entre, main and a dessert. Kids of certain height and age are not allowed so it would help if you enquired prior to making reservations. KL weather is quite erratic and if luck is not on your side, please be strong enough to experience disappointment as they do not refund the moolah. So, makes sure you enquire about their refund policy. At the base camp, you can drink as much and visit the rest room as much as once in air, you'll be at your own mercy unless you have worn a diaper Vegans and Vegetarians wouldn't be disappointed. But this one is definitely not for those who are on Budget Travel. Having said that, it isn't something we would be eager or keen to do every time even if our travel budget approves of the splurge, and thus, rate it is as "Good Enough to Experience it Once"

  • 5/5 VargheseMe 4 years ago on Google

  • 5/5 Nathan D. 4 years ago on Google
Probably one of the best experiences of my life. If you are in KL and even thinking about doing this then you should. If you are afraid of heights then you should watch the videos on youtube first to get an idea of what you are in for, if you are brave enough to go ahead with it then it is well worth the price as the experience of nothing below you while you eat taking in the 360 degree views is priceless. The hosts are fantastic and even add a touch of humour throughout the evening. The food is really good, you get music throughout the whole experience to add to the atmosphere. The best bit is you are permitted cameras unlike similar experiences in some western countries, and if you are brave enough you can recline your seat all the way so you are horizontal 50m above the ground!!! One bit of advice do not plan anything afterwards as the experience will be delayed in case of bad weather which is a regular occurance in KL. But the storms do pass quickly so it is unlikely it would be cancelled.

  • 3/5 Brooke J. 4 years ago on Google
Fun idea but somewhat disappointing. The food servings were very small and while the presentation was nice, the food tasted mediocre. 45 meters in the air also is not high enough to see the Petronas towers from the table due to recent construction. Still, perhaps worth the money if only to satisfy curiosity.

Northern Indian vegetarian cuisine. Nice ambience and service is good. A lot of vegetarian varieties. The Quesadilla is really good. Very cheezy with a right mix of other vegetables. The Tandoori platter however is below average. Perhaps too much of green peas paste. Well, this is just my view. Perhaps it will be great for others who fancy green peas. The Mango milkshake is actually a Mango lassi with a scoop of ice cream added. It is ok but not great. Overall, it is a good dining experience. Hope they improve on the Tandoori platters. Will definitely come here again to try their vast variety of vegetarian meals and desserts.

We asked one of the waiter (black long sleve shirt thin guy) he said its coming if u are not satisfied u can complain??. I did not say about complain i just ask for my drink....whats wrong with the staff....i think he might not happy with the management which its not my problem. So he told me my boss sitting there in red long sleve shirt u may complain there. Im not complaining, my food was finished but drink did not come....anyway we are paying so if u have any problem with your management its not our problem.
