A birthday treats by my secondary school BFF. This reminiscent our secondary school time when we used to visit the hotel for buffet. As our appetite shrink, we seldom buffet, somehow or rather when it comes to a quality buffet, why not? We were attracted by the “seafood-themed” buffet for health junkies like us. Smoked salmons, mussels, king prawns, clam, baked snapper, seared fish fillet, Aloo Gohbi (my new findings), poached whole salmon. We would expect fresh big oyster, but there was none. We will consider to come back if fresh oyster adding to the buffet line. I tried the oyster omelette, sorry to tell, as a oyster omelette lover who is not too fussy, I forgo the oyster omelette on my plate because it was too cold, hard and dry. We can tell it was ready hours before we eat. Suggest to put the oyster omelette at the Chef instant cooking section.

The buffet was average to me, the services was good tho and they control the crowd and follow SOP. Very good 👍 the lighting was a bit dim at my table, not sure if it's meant that way or what. Anyway I had a great time meeting up with my friends and chit chatting while eating.

Since I attended a dialogue session, I had the chance to have a buffet lunch here. I was simply amazed by the beautiful interior and the number of dishes available. Tried some of the special dishes. All were tasty. Wish could have tried more dishes but no more space in the stomach.

Went there for Chinese New Year buffet, feel disappointed and cheated by the limited type of dishes offered. We didn't put high expectation on the type of dishes available but even economic rice stall have more choices than this restaurant. Advertised "Roasted Sesame Chicken, a Yee Sang counter, Wok-fried Chilli Crab, Baked Oriental Seabass with ginger & superior scallion sauce, Crispy Butter Prawns, Popcorn Cereal and Curry Leaf Chicken, Shanghai-style Chicken Roulade and more" but only yee sang counter, wok-fried chili crab, baked seabass and popcorn chicken is available, with some other foods like pizza, satay, dessert, cake, 2 types of nyonya kuih, salad bar and some drinks. Furthermore the wok fried chili crab is cold, like they just simply use the crab in salad bar and put it into the same chili pot without frying it. Most food are cold and the only food that serve hot are the soup dishes where the chef cook it on the spot and the steam dim sum and pau that is constantly on steamer. Need to improve their hygiene as well as there are cockroaches baby running around the buffet table. With that price, it's not worth it to go. There are better place out there which offer foods with quality and choices.

Get your roaring bellies ready cause the coolest Wild Wild Wagyu and Awesome Angus Burgers are on the block at WXYZ. You’re going to have the best time of your life as they’ve deliberately flown in their premium beef all the way from Australia so they can make some a-MOO-zing beef patties for you. They’re also making it extra special for you by putting in their smoking housemade sauces and crispy onion rings that you’re going to fall in love with. Don’t worry about getting exhausted as they’ve got some soft, fluffy tasty buns prepared for you too. Thinking that’s all they’ve got? Just wait for their Lipsmacking Lamb Burger to hit the scene with its scrumptious, solid sun-dried tomato bagel. A mighty balance of flavours and textures with the sweet onion jam, juicy tomatoes and a thick slab of pleasantly salty, tangy, crumbly feta cheese. Head over now to WXYZ Bar to meet the whole band of including the Fantabulous Fish burger and the glorious 360gram WXYZ burger.

Overall, we spent close to 2 hours devouring all the good food served at Nook, Aloft Langkawi! We also had a great chat with the waitress and she kept checking on us regarding the food quality and taste (top notch service)! There were also a few customers dining at Nook and we personally felt that it was a seriously under-rated restaurant! The sunset view from the restaurant was amazing, cocktail was fairly cheap, pricing of main course are reasonable and the food quality and portions are of the highest quality and generous! We would definitely be back here next time! Follow us on IG: travelfoodie.my Full review: mylostvoyager.com

For Four Star, the lunch buffet was above Par! Variety of foods and also got Vegetarian corner! Compare to the price, this is very money worth! Location is excellent, if you landed Kuala Lumpur via KL Sentral, just take a stop here!

Went to Nook for their christmas buffet as KL foodie advertised many delicious dishes there. I went at 6:30 pm for dinner and was told that the scallops were downgraded from white shelled scallops to orange shell scallops within 30 minutes. The roasted chicken and lamb were cold but was yummy. There was oysters advertised in the kl foodie video and I asked the staff to get no answer. The food was yummy but was not as advertised with some food not refilled such as candy canes, wood log cakes and many more that are staples for Christmas. So disappointed would not come here again.

The food was meh. The local food like Ayam kicap was dry and overcooked. Can literally pull the strings from the wings, and the kam heong is literally bland where it feels like I'm eating boiled chicken but with brown tasteless sauce. The others such as the slow cooked beef was kinda overcooked as well but the taste was good. The place looks nice but we were seated beside the dirty dishes even though there are lots of tables available. The pasta was overcooked, too soft to eat but the sauce was okay. The pizza is bad because theres no cheese on it lol. Desserts are okay because their bread pudding is good but the other desserts were over sweetened. Won't come again.

Went for Christmas season’s buffet dinner. I saw the video from KL Foodie which showed squid ink pasta, oysters, creme brulee and gingerbread brunt cake but they were all not available. The menu was a major let down.. when we arrived at 6pm, there were big scallops and after 6ish, they didn’t refill it anymore. Even tortilla chips’ dips, mince pie, Christmas log, candy canes also they didn’t refill after 8-9pm. They also ran out of lamb roast and beef ribs around 9pm and didn’t serve it anymore.. taste wise is so so for everything, nothing worth mentioning about. At this price point, it’s not value for money.

Most underwhelming buffet experience ever. TL;DR 1. If you are looking for a fancy date, this place is not it. Unless you want to enjoy a buffet with a food court setting 2. Food is just meh, best thing was legit their watermelon. Very sweet I'll give them that. 3. Service is beyond horrible, if you enjoy carrying your own plates and clearing your own table then this place is for you. Where to place the plates? Who knows just chuck it somewhere. Pros: 1 star for good fruits and coffee (coffee machine makes decent coffee and there are flavoured syrup to spice up your coffee). Cons: First of all, the placement of tables in this establishment reminded me of the kind of placement you would see in a food court. Not sure if this is the common placement or something out of the ordinary but there were tables all over the place, even up to the escalators and lifts. So not fancy. From that point on my expectations for this place already drastically lowered. Secondly, there were very limited selections of food, alot of which were overcooked, dishes with beef or most meat in general were dry and tough. Also do your staffs even know what prawn noodles are? Noodle section had prawn noodles written on the signage, but when attempting to order I was asked, "What soup do you want?" "Chicken or vegetable soup?" Never have I ever been more confused. I ended up with a bowl of plain noodle soup with like a few mini prawns which I assume resembles the "prawn" in prawn noodles lmfao. Third and maybe THE WORST is the service. I have never been to a buffet dining where I am required to send my own plates to what I assume is not even a place for dirty dishes?? (Forgot to take a pic of it) Just that maybe one of the customers started stacking dishes on a random corner because no one were clearing dirty dishes and then everyone else decided to do it and hence your service staff felt like they didn't need to do their plate clearing duties? I literally see so many other customers walking around with dirty dishes while your staffs were just chit chatting at the entrance. They only cleared tables of customers who already left and they do it sitting down....???? I had to personally request them to clear the mountains of dirty cups and plates on our table when I had enough of carrying the plates myself. Also don't your staffs get lunch breaks?? I caught them snacking on leftovers off of customers' plates, multiple times. FEED YOUR STAFF. This is by far one of the worst of any buffet dining I've ever been to.

The True Essentials of A Feast Are Fun & Feed ❤️ First off, this is a review on their food delivery and not dine-in. Service: We communicated with their friendly customer service via Instagram and ordered through E-mail. The entire process was very pleasant and a breeze. One you would expect of a hotel. Foodie Pack - Ayam Percik  Kelantan Set (RM 188) Packing: The feast arrived in a huge styrofoam box leaving us to wonder what lay in await within! And boy were we in for a banquet! Upon opening the box was the following neatly packed in plastic containers. Ayam Percik Kelantan (spicy coconut and turmeric marinated chicken) Bur Lambic Ayam x 4 Nasi Minyak Chicken Murtabak Fried Potatoes with Anchovies & Onion Acar Dates Sago Dessert x 4 Fruit Juice x 4 Not only did Aloft go for quantity, but boy did they have quality! Each dish was packed with love and in a way that actually survived the delivery. In addition, the Ayam Percik Kelantan, Bur Lambic Ayam and Sago Desserts were beautifully presented and garnished. So much so that we decided to leave out the plating entirely. Each dish was delicious, extremely flavourful and authentic. The Bur Lambic Ayam in itself might be a little salty but with the rest of the dishes went perfectly. All in all, a truly remarkable experience. All in all, very reasonably priced. The service and food quality which Aloft presented went hand in glove and that of a luxury hotel. Our full review is on Instagram (@monk3yseendo)

The environment like food court style, your space between table and seat is too narrow and totally not convenient for people to go in and go out. Please improve your food quality as the 4 star hotel standard. Pizza like not baking before, the cheese is awkful taste, the bread not soft at all, the sarawak laksa taste also no good, hot chocolate like not the taste of chocolate. Limited refill for prawn and mussels. Only the cake, spaghetti and satay is acceptable. And the rooftop swimming pool view is awesome.

The Indian vegetarian dishes are tasty; nicely spiced. Other dishes are generally nice except one of the chicken dish is a bit salty. A few selection of cakes and pastries. The choice of food is worth the money. Price for lunch buffet is about RM70/ person

Had the buffet lunch here. The food was very well presented and the dishes were very tasty. A wide selection of main dishes. Some notable dishes are the fish fillet cooked in butter sauce and daging kicap. Ambience is quite good and place is very comfortable and suitable for families. Only setback was the ice cream available were only potong ice cream and no scoop ice cream. Overall, recommended to go for a nice buffet lunch with family or friends.

Nothing much to shout about for the buffet spread. It's pretty limited actually and they're all cramped up into a little corner of the restaurant. So if you're sitting far from the food area, expect to walk, and if it's peak period, expect that area to be packed. I was hoping for some raw Japanese dishes but there were none. Not too sure if on other days there are but it was disappointing that on the day I went there's none. Ice-cream tasted weird, some of the dessert cake we have to actually cut ourselves. Some of the seafood were not refilled even when it's still like only 8pm. One plus point though is they had popcorn, a first from all the buffets i went in Malaysia.

Went for 2023 Christmas day lunch buffet. I never had beef wellington before. But i cant believe it's supposed to be that tough as leather (if it's supposed to be like that, then shame on Gordon Ramsay). If it's actually supposed to be leathery, then my apologies. Some servings of oysters were too salted. However other dishes were good. Staff was friendly n efficient even though there's many diners. Nook - more quality food control is needed even though it is a buffet. But still 4 stars on food, as all other dishes I've eaten are alright... they're not cold, not overly salty, tough or sweet. A nice meal with the above 2 exceptions.

Please improve your customer service? Wanted to reserve a seat and called them 3 times to request the deposit details, they promised will send to me but none of them did. Also a girl who's answering the phone (not sure what's her name) is quite rude, sounds very irritated and hang up the phone before I finished talking, didn't even have the courtesy to say thank you and bye before ending the call. Seriously, what happen to your customer service? Is it so difficult to send a few lines details to your customer? 🤦 I have to cancel the reservation in the end as I couldn't get the deposit details from them even though I wanna make payment.

We dined in for the dinner buffet. Unfortunately it was pretty average. The food served were mostly cold, the pasta on the spot was so bland, No ingredients, it was like noodle floating in white sauce. Desserts were so so, not much variety on the salads. Another major turn off ws i saw a baby cockroach next to the ice machine 😩 which i complained. Staff said noted.

Want to know what was the most memorable moment? The excellent staffs on duty that night. They were very accommodating and helpful. Their courteousness and politeness was way beyond what I had expected for an establishment of this type. It is rare for busy servers to take the time to assist their guests and also kids especially when you can see most of them were pretty busy. A lot of 5-star hotel restaurants would just let their guests walk around disconcerted at the buffet table. But these guys, would approach you in their busy time and ask if they could be of any help. Well done. These things don't come easy in this country. The dinner buffet selection by the way was pretty much normal. They did try to spice things up by adding items that are not in other hotels. Like for example, the 'asam pedas' station where you could choose which type of 'asam pedas' you would like from different regions in the country. It is cooked as you order. Outstanding right. The satay was delicious and also the seafood served at the cold dish station was fresh as it comes. Will definitely make a return one day.

The buffet breakfast spread had a reasonably good variety of options, added ~RM30 per pax with my Agoda hotel booking for this. Gloves were provided for all guests when taking food which is good, SOP was followed. The bad: almost all the plates at the counter had some stain or speck of brown dirt on it. Another one even had a blob of curry!!! Something is wrong with the dishwashing machine?

Went for their Nostalgia kampung baru buffet dinner. Don’t expect so much for the food quality as buffet is normally meant for variety. But the service by the team is excellent! The manager Syafiq and his staff Fitri are very cheerful. There is also another lady that is really meticulous who serve us the cake but I didn’t managed to catch her name. You’ll also get a bottle of rendang paste here.

I think the buffet has a variety of offering, which is great, but the environment is not the most presentable - no.1 the place where they place used plates are very obvious and we were seated right beside it... I thought for a hotel, it should be placed perhaps away from where guests are seating. That’s not a very huge problem for me, but just the general ambience was not very conducive... but overall food quality is OK... will only visit again when there is a 50% deal on eatigo..
