😠 Frustrated! Don't know who is wrong here, Ibis Hotel KL or PTPTN KL? We were a bit surprised when we wanted to have a buffet dinner at Lvl 10, Kampung Kitchen, Ibis KL but there was also PTPTN KL annual dinner here with a live performance singing out loud like a concert. Ask the next person who is... People often mention buffet, good, taste, dinner, price, hotel, limited, foods, lunch,

Frustrated! Ask the next person who is not a PTPTN staff, they were equally surprised. Kami rasa tertipu, rasa sakit hati & tidak kenyang makan serta rasa terganggu. Why doesn't PTPTN hire/rent for a private annual dinner? Nak jimat ker? But why did Ibis KL not advise PTPTN on this matter? Pity for us & other families who have small children & want to have dinner in a good way but have to cover their ears & calm our small kids. Sangat geram 2.7.2022 8pm-10pm

Although Kampung Kitchen is a 3☆ rated I find their food quality is good and breakfast choices are not too bad but food rotation is slightly limited. Lunch buffet is priced at only RM35 and it is not too bad a deal. Choices although limited but for that price it is a value eat. Dinner buffet is RM45 but have not tried it yet. Parking is still free at the hotel.

The restaurant Kampung kitchen Buffet restaurant on the 10 th floor of hotel IBIS Kualalampur City centre is outstanding, you can see the varieties of food . The buffet is such a huge even if you take one each from the items, atleast 5 to 6 people must share. Right from South Indian, Chinese, Malay, Thai and international foods are served. Really it is a feast for eye and taste buds. Right from tea ,cofee juice atleast three varieties are arranged. Bread varities, fsh curry, chicken Currys, nuggets, chicken sausages you name it you will get it. Egg, boiled hard, cut in two pieces, half boiled are delicacies to try. South Indian idli, dosa with sambar chatney, even idiyappam is there as a special..l Fruits cut as well full are available apple, tomato grapes orange and so many others available. Soup with noodles, egg balls, and other taste adding items are available. Cornflakes and chocolate flakes with milk is available. Bread butter jam plain and roaster available. Different bun varities are there to cut and taste. Three varieties of momos are added to the list. Salads onion, carrot, cabbage, plain as well dipped in vinegar is available in varieties.

Taken the Rm39 nett buffet weekday lunch. Only around 3 main Meat items, kumpo chicken, taucu mussle, beef. Sides: white rice, porridge, soup noodle, briyani kosong, speghetti, steamed eggs and 2 vegetables. Salad corner is quite sad as well. Fruits: tasteless honeydew, yellow n red watermelon, dessert: 2 flavour of nestle ice cream, 6 types of kuih, 1 type of pao and 4 types of floury cakes. 65% disappointment due to limited meat or seafood items. Hardly get myself to refil the mains. Was expecting grill chicken or cold shrimps. Nothing much to shout about... It sells the convenient not the dishes. Drinks: coffee tea and 2 cordials. More like a local bfast spreads than lunch... Service was prompt but the manager at the buffet line lacked Passion and sincerity, felt reluctant and impatient to guests

Went over with our family for our year end celebration dinner. The variety offered was good and taste was above average as well. We even got a door gift by one of their suppliers. Also there was also lucky draw during that night and it was a memorable experience. Parking was challenging though soo park at your own risk inside the building. However this buffet spread was decent and value for the money paid even for a new year's eve pricing.

Had a team lunch here during their kampung-themed buffet. Reservations through the WhatsApp number was easy, service was good when we got there and the food was good for the price paid. Quality of ingredients were pretty good and the dishes tasted nice. Despite being quite crowded, the food was topped up quite frequently and our table was attended to often so the used plates didn't pile up.

The buffet dinner priced at rm49 per pax. One of the cheapest buffet dinner in hotel kl area you can find. The buffet spread is reasonable for the price. Menu is focusing on Malay food. Variety is limited but the quality is good. Dont expect roasted beef or lamb. But got small western section for lasagna, mashed potato, breads n soup. But the environment is good, the view is stunning n very good for gathering n celebrations. Good for chichat n casual lepak2 with family n friends. The staff are superbly friendly. Above all, will come back if got back if got celebration.

Sad to give it a 2. Reasons below: Pros: 1. Elegant set up. Gearing up for Chinese New year 2. Spacious layout 3. Whatever food was there, was indeed delicious 4. Not very spicy, moderate 5. Suits all age groups 6. Fit enough for single to group parties 7. Live performance Cons : 1. Only chicken and beef available in meat section. No mutton or lamb available 2. Seafood section had only fish and mussels. Expected crab, squid, shrimp, calamary etc 3. Cakes weren't good enoug to eat. Were good enough for the eyes. 4. Ice-cream was rock solid and hard If management can look into these things, can easily pump it up to 5*

Food 4/5 Service 3/5 Ambience 4/5 Hygiene 4/5 Very spacious Buffet restaurant, with wide range of food selections. From local Malay, Western, Indian, Chinese and sometimes Thai or Japanese food too. Located at 10th floor, surrounded by commercial buildings and luxury apartments. Window seat offering a view of the neighborhood. Definitely valued for money.

Delicious and valued lunch buffet with city view in the town. As Deepavali is coming soon, restaurant provides few Indian foods such as nasi briyani, fish masala. Other than that, usual food would appear in buffet are all available. Most of the food here delicious. Food I like the most is their fried fish fillet with sweet sour sauce. They have plenty of seat here. You can also book their private area for event. Other than food particularly serve in private area, guests allow go to public area for more variety of food. Price per person for buffet is reasonable. Overall enjoyed the meal.

Affordable lunch buffet. Mostly were Asian cuisine. There were not many choices for the buffet. Foods and drinks were quite limited. Maybe 2 or 3 rounds and you'd already try everything. The taste was average too. Yellow mee had the usual soapy taste. Services were OK. Would recommend the staffs to be more friendly though.

one of the more affordable hotel buffets in KL city centre with a comfortable dining space, pleasant views and complimentary parking. Dishes were limited at this price, the mussels only made an appearance at the beginning. The rest of the evening were repeats of the same dishes with no seafood in sight.

A great place for buffet with the family inside Ibis Hotel KL. There is a good variety of mostly Malaysian cuisine. Pasta, noodles and dessert stations are also available. During dinner, there was an acoustic performer. The price is reasonable and they can accommodate drop-in customers.

Although the price is cheaper compared to others hotel's buffet, but u get for what u pay for, the food selection is limited. Some food taste is decent, some is just not up to the standard. The services is ok, front desk not too friendly I would say. The best thing here is the view especially night time, suggest u book the seat earlier and request for windows seat.

We ate here with family of 17 pax of us. Regret eating here shouldve pay abit higher and have a better tasteful buffet. The good side its spacious but the food taste is quite bland. During weekend it was so pack. Avoid since the food finished easily with long queue and replenish quite slow.

Came here for 2023 Ramadan Buffet, RM98 per pax (early bird RM78). Basically all foods are not nice. Satay is cold. Kambing Golek tasteless. Seafood is not fresh. Roti John also taste worst than bazaar. Even jagung taste funny some more. Longan all rosak. Only cut fruits can be eaten. All their foods basically are not fresh or super salty. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. This buffet worth RM30 maximum provided you can swallow the foods.

Based on the price the food was quite good. Good selection of Malay and local dishes. There was a live performer as well which made the atmosphere even better

Some foods running out at 8pm plus, ask the chef refill but went missing. Asked another chef and was told that the prawn n lamb already out of orders. What a joke. The chef don't even bother clean up the buffet, refill the foods instead just play a phone. Make a reservation a week ago, and hotel call to confirm the booking but the time is not what they have sent me the confirmation email upon reservation made. I'm wondering they they get the info? On arrival day, the restaurant didn't my reservations at all. What's wrong with the hotel? I think local 3 stars hotel is better than Accor brand Ibis hotel that come with 4 stars but not deserve it. Not recommendations for someone who just need a standard food and service.
