I believe the price for the room was mainly for the ambience and the environment. Other than that, there wasn't much to rave about. We were told very proudly by the receptionist that the mini bar is complimentary, only to our disappointment to find a bottle of water in it. The jacuzzi water was dirty, facilities weren't well-maintained, and amenities were lacking. We do not expect much, but for the price of the room, we'd like to at least have the basic necessities, like body lotion for example. Food was bland and overpriced too. And our breakfast were served late, despite them telling us we had to choose our timing and place our orders a day before. I think the nicest person we met in the compound is the security uncle at the entrance booth.

5 star for the environment with Bali vibes in the middle of city centre. Room is so huge with heated pool. Awesome! 1 star for the services provided. The staffs at the bar/restaurant got no proper manners. As if they don’t welcome guests and sick of their job. I asked for a tray/table on my hut by the pool, they just ignored and I got to carry it myself. I asked for another drink on the complimentary tea time service but they refused and insisted me to finish the first drink. I just wanted to try another drink. I won’t come to this place anymore cos I don’t feel welcomed by the staffs. Not worth the money guys!

What a great place to spend time for short staycation. I booked here as a mini honeymoon staycation because after few weeks of marriage, haven't get the chance to have honeymoon yet because of bzness with work. But I promise my wife for an awesome mini honeymoon staycation which I didn't tell where until the day itself. She was super surprised and she loved every minute of it. The location, the room, the service, the jacuzzi 😂✨ The staff were very friendly and made sure the check in process was smooth and explained everything from A to Z. The room I booked was the cheapest one but even that to me is luxurious enough with big bed, there's a balcony, big bathroom, jacuzzi, complimentary fruits, coffee and tea and a chocolate brownie too. They really excelled in making you feel like having the best time. Dinner was pretty good too. Not the best but it's adequate. I think it's because not many chef at night, so the turnover is not that fast. However, the breakfast buffet spread was super awesome! 👍 Parking is limited though, about 10 spaces. But I was lucky to be able to park inside the compound. Security will guide you what to do as you arrive at the location. Overall, Villa Samadhi is a great staycation place. It's not cheap per night. Gotta get ready money for it but it's really a nice staycation place. Strictly no kids policy because it's meant for couples and romantic getaway, which I understand what they are going for. Please keep up the vibes. I will come back again soon if got budget. Haha. 😂👍✨ Thank you for the awesome experience. My wife loved it very much. Score more points for me 😂👍

This villa is located in the middle of a bustling city center, which is unbelievable. The experience here is comparable to a nice stay in Bali. If you are tired of swimming in a chilly pool, there is a nice, warm jacuzzi. Their staff has been very welcoming and polite throughout my stay here. Great place to stay after a busy weekday.

It used to be a beautiful hidden gem in KL. But nowadays the place is not as good as compared to few years back. The room is old and not well-maintained, furnitures are full of dust, ants are all around in the room. For breakfast, their food quality has dropped a lot. With the price, the stay is totally not worth it.

We had high hopes for this resort, mainly from the reviews. We stayed in room 15. The plunge pool is not hot, regardless of what people say in these reviews. That water is ice cold. I had to ask about it a couple of times, the staff just kept saying the heating takes a few hours and it's set on automatic heating times. After 3 hours of it not heating up, they finally sent someone. We went to the pool for a swim and to have something to eat. I ordered the fish ball soup, it was the most bland and tasteless thing I've eaten in Malaysia so far. The pool is really good though, and it's much warmer then the one in the room. We decided against eating dinner here after the tasteless food and went out. When we came back we were locked out, no security or anything at the post and it's raining. No choice but to wait in the rain for him to arrive. He was flat out working around the resort, I feel the poor staff here are quite overworked Upon returning I asked about our spa in the room. They said it should be working, we asked if the heating could be extended as it only had half an hour left. But no that's not possible. When we got up there, all we wanted was to use it but it was still so cold. And there is no coverage on this spa, so the rain comes straight through. It was completely unusable and when I did use it during the day, you would just cramp up in the cold. So the main feature of the room was useless The fragrance they use is so excessive as well. My partner got a bit of a reaction to it. We tried to open a window a bit but that just allows the mosquitoes in. The open spa area also is riddled return mosquitoes. Power points are also a bit of a concern. It took me a while to find the one near the bed, it was covered under all the dust, probably another reason my partner was not feeling good. That steak has not been cleaned in a long time The bed is comfortable though. Really nice. But when you look up you can see the ceiling is cracking. This is directly above the bed For a relaxing resort, it had the opposite effect on us. Just so much wrong with the place. I'm not sure why it's rated 4 stars, maybe that's a very old rating because it's not like that now. For one of the most expensive places to stay in KL, it's just not worth it. Get out of the city a bit for other resorts or use the budget for proper 5 star hotels in KL. This is just not worth it

Me and my fiancée were looking for a staycation destination but we didn't want to venture abroad, and we have heard great stuff coming out of Villa Samadhi KL. Hence, we decided to stay here for 2 nights to chill and spend quality time with each other. The entrance to this luxurious urban nest is quite discreet. There was no big sign that informs guests that they are at the right spot. The best way for me to describe the hotel's precise location is it is facing towards the entrance of U-Thant Residence. As soon as you enter Villa Samadhi KL, you will sense that you are entering a different world. That's how (strangely) isolated it is. There are dedicated covered parking bays for guests, so don't worry about getting wet upon arrival. When me and my fiancée arrived, there was no one to handle our baggages. We had to approach the front desk and ask for their assistance. It was not a big deal for us, really. Check-in process took only several minutes and a helpful bellgirl escorted us to our room. We secured the Luxe Sarang. I highly recommend room #3 because for this room, the square-shaped jacuzzi is located a few steps away from the bathroom. Other Luxe Sarang rooms feature trapezium-like jacuzzis and require some further walking before accessing the bathroom. Our room was very clean upon entering and there was even a welcome letter on the bed, which we thought was a nice gesture. The defining feature of this room type is its patio that offers direct access to the plunge pool. Absolutely love the fact that the room is spacious and comes with TWO rain showers. Speaking of the plunge pool, it is quite deep. At some parts of the plunge pool, it is 1.5m deep. The area below the bridge wooden bridge is more than that. Hence, take note of that spot and be careful if you are not a good swimmer. This place has no lifeguards. We really enjoyed their complimentary all day breakfast and the fact that we were allowed to request food delivery from outside the premise. All we had to do was collect the food from the delivery rider at the entrance of this hidden gem. This is not to say that the food options in Villa Samadhi KL is limited; it is just that my partner and I wanted something more that this romantic getaway didn't have. The place was well maintained and the chef was very attentive to our dietary needs. The staff were all down to earth and welcoming. They were particularly swift and helpful too when we informed them that the toilet was clogged. Hence, much salute to them for their professionalism and their mindset to see the problem with a sense of urgency. In conclusion, we truly enjoyed the hospitality given by the Villa Samadhi KL team. The possibility of returning to this hidden gem for our anniversary remains alive. Our deepest gratitude to all the people who have kept this property in pristine condition and made sure that our stay was one worth remembering for the rest of our lives.

Most lousy services. 1000% NOT recommended. Go search their facebook page you will see so many people complained about it. You want a good holiday, avoid here. All they know is to spoil your good mood

Villa Samadhi is a hidden gem in city centre, oasis inside the town. An ideal place for a quick retreat with the loved one. Spacious room with in room jacuzzi at court yard, and it is heated in the evening and night. Private and exclusive, calm and peaceful. Great ambient with Bali vibes. Breakfast by the poolside is okay, rather limited options. The residence manager Duncan is very helpful over the phone and helped me to book dinner at their sister restaurant, and took efforts to call me back and text me with the updates. Thanks. Overall very pleasant stay and recommended for couples romantic staycation.

Yes, no doubt! Villa Samadhi it’s quite attractive by checking on your website and instagram. I just booked 5 units luxe crib with Villa Samadhi. It’s a secret retreat gift for our company staff. During the phone call with your sales rep - June Rashid. She is quite rude, talk very loud. She is complaining about she is the only one person handling of 4 property sales including Singapore & KL. I remember once she told me about the direct line will record our conversation between her and guest so I appreciate higher management can look into it. Im looking forward to have a pleasant stay at Villa Samadhi. 🙏🏻

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience. The hotel's overall design is stunning and sets the tone for a luxurious stay. The rooms are beautifully designed as well, with great attention to detail that really made my stay comfortable and relaxing. The food was another highlight of my stay. The restaurant offered various delicious options that satisfied my cravings and left me feeling full and satisfied. I also enjoyed spending time by the pool, which was a great way to unwind and take in the beautiful surroundings. All in all, my stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations and I look forward to returning in the future.

Stayed here for a week for a short holiday in KL. We got the Sarang room. Really loved how spacious the room is. The side balcony in the room is a perfect place to have an intimate in room breakfast or dinner with your significant other. The room also contains a jacuzzi which can be used to just relax with privacy in the afternoon. The sound of the waterfall in the centre of the villa can be heard from the room, giving an additional relaxing ambience. Strongly recommend this place for couples.

Best place to getaway if you don't want to travel outside of KL. Once you're there, you will forget that you're even in the city. Book directly with the villa. You'll get more benefits than booking through 3rd app party. Hats off to the receptionist Amin. He helps us through everything since we made the first call to book until on the day of our arrival ( One of the main reason why we feel like this is the right place to go) Room is great! If you want more privacy, I would suggest the second floor where we had stay. Great view too since you can see the whole villa from the room. staffs are friendly and respectful. You felt safe as a woman just walking alone in the villa. It's private and relaxing. Service, Ambience is Amazing! One of the best place we've ever been!

My 3rd visit in 3 years. Always loved this place, however the most recent visit had signs of the property aging. The cabanas around the pool are deteriorating and not too clean. Furniture in the smoking area was run down. Toiletries were not complete as before; no mouthwash & lotions. The service from the staffs however were exceptional and pleasant as usual. Credits to both the staffs during cocktail hour.

Caught the promo price on time and booked ourselves a 2 nights stay in the Luxe Sarang room just because it had direct access to the pool! The package we booked came with set breakfast, simple afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Our room came with its own private hot tub in the outdoor that switches on automatically in the afternoon, 2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 11pm. Our package with @villasamadhikl came with a set breakfast, afternoon tea and sundowners daily. Foodwise is pretty decent fare & we did love the portions given. Afternoon tea and Sundowners came with pretty simple menus: afternoon tea was Teh tarik with simple local finger foods. Breakfast was more extravagant, we were allowed to pick 2 sets per person with 2 types of drinks on menu. On day 1, we decided to go in-room & chose mostly western fare. It was rather disappointing, the food arrived cold, some of the breads were soggy and the other cooked items a little bland. On Day 2 however, we went with breakfast in restaurant, similarly 4 sets meals and 4 drinks between us. This time we picked the Asian menu, which was way better! Especially the roti canai, which was unbelievably crispy and fluffy! If the promo is back again, I'd definitely want to come back again! Overall, This place truly a lap of luxury and everything here screams relax! Only a 5 min drive from KLCC, you wouldn't believe how a place like this can be situated so close to the city. A really good escape! 😍

Room was really big and nice - gives off a very Balinese vibe. Jacuzzi is big too and is in a private open air room - there's heating times for the Jacuzzi (in the afternoon and at night). The jacuzzi is only luke warm, would be better if it was hotter. Staff and manager was really friendly and provided good service. Food is good.

Way overpriced for its conditions. Room was fine for us but air con was as good as nothing and the bathroom doesn’t have air con. Private pool was not warm and whole room was quite old. Breakfast was horrible. We went to the dining hall and buffet area was practically empty. Had to order from the menu and both food and drink took more than half an hour to come, and they were bad… But staffs were really good.

There are many luxurious accommodation throughout Kuala Lumpur, in 5 star luxury hotels. But at the end of the day, you are stuck in a room/ apartment. If you want almost the same luxury as far as the rooms are concerned, with the tranquillity you should expect, almost at the heart of the city, THIS is the place for you. A small piecefull retreat. The villas are massive and beautifully furnished. We've stayed in 2 villas. Both with pool access both with jacuzzi in the courtyard of the villa. Check out my photos. The staff have been amazing. Everything is tranquil, oh yeah, maybe because of the no kids policy. If there is any drawback it maybe the food. It's nice, but limited. We didn't find this to be an issue as we wanted to try the many different cuisines that seem to be in this city. Definitely recommendable.

Villa Samadhi is an oasis inside the city. We literally live around the corner, but have had two staycations here because we really do feel that we've escaped the hustle and bustle while there. The pool/common areas are beautiful, and the rooms are well-appointed. Lovely afternoon tea and sundowner as well as food. The manager Mr. Duncan is extremely helpful, and the staff is well-trained and friendly. Wonderful stay from start to finish--highly recommend this for a staycation escape or as a home base if you're traveling in KL.

Had a great staycation here, by the first morning you would have forgotten that you’re stuck in KL, running in the rat race. We had our breakfast in the room, lounging in the balcony, floating around in the pool. I hope the waiters could come and ask us what drinks we would like, we are shy to ask for more free drinks during the sundowner period. Parking and security was top notch, we felt safe staying there. Great job Villa Samadhi Team!

This is a dated resort and kind of overpriced with the current condition. Room interior looks old. I couldn't find shampoo halfway through my shower then I only realised they misplaced a bottle of hand soap instead of shampoo. And worst of all, the shower gel bottle pump was broken and could not be dispense. I waited for the housekeeping around 20 minutes just to bring a new bottle of shower gel and shampoo. I am paying more than a thousand Ringgit, and this shouldn't have happened. Fortunately, breakfast still acceptable so it is not a total disappointment.

The villa is an exceptional hotel that will exceed your expectations in every way. From the moment you arrive, you'll be welcomed by friendly and attentive staff who will make sure you have everything you need. The hotel's grounds are immaculate and beautifully landscaped, with stunning views. The rooms are elegantly decorated with comfortable beds. Definitely worth my money.

Where to start? The villa is gorgeous, beautifully designed and decorated. The pool is amazing at all hours of the day and night (excellent star gazing). The staff is wonderful! So kind, thoughtful and courteous. They are very helpful and lovely to be around, yet know how to blend into the background and still be there when you need them. The house manager, is there to check in on what you might need and will take care of any arrangements you need for staycation trips, and anything else you many need, from setting up sightseeing to ordering fresh food for dinner. The villa’s private chef made us many delicious dinners as well as breakfast every morning. He is proficient in western dishes and local cuisine, which was so delicious. Be sure to book the spa services. The massages were amazing for the price.

5* , I genuinely can't fault anything here. The staff and hotel was lovely. We used the local taxi app Grab to travel through the city. Massage was good. Food reasonable price. The hotel makes you forget you are in the city and makes you feel like you are in your own private complex. Outside pool isn't heated.

Villa Samadhi in Kuala Lumpur is a serene oasis nestled in the heart of the city. Wonderful time spent in Villa Samadhi. Thank you for Samadhi team for great hospitality. We booked Luxe Crib room and room its spacious. Open air natural jacuzzi in the room nice. Check in process was fast & welcoming. Afternoon tea time is 3:30-4:30pm but we didn’t go. Turndown cocktail start from 6-7pm. Free flow for 1 hour. Restaurant is next to the bar. Our dinner time is set at 7:30pm. So we were chilling at the bar since 6pm and waiting for our dinner time. Passed 7:30pm, we were still chilling at the bar bcoz we saw others diners went in earlier are still waiting for their food. Then the bar tender is proactive came to us and confirming our room number, we were told that our dinner is going to be ready as our dinner time was 7:30pm. Impressed with her great service 👍👍 Breakfast are buffet + ala carte. For buffet they service from salad, cereal, noodles, bread and many more. On top of that, ala carte menu will be serve too and you get to choose as well. Great selection and yummy breakfast. We were seated by pool which is very relaxing too. Massage are great too. The massage room only hv 2 beds. So make sure you plan your timing and book in advance 😊

First the staff are well trained and helpful. Now the part here is, the designs easily attract mosquitos also lizard. Im so terrified with lizard that just appear out of no where. Next the bathroom are spacious but please do fix the drainage system. Is very bad that the water flow got stucked and i will have to wait until it sink then continue showering. The pool almost makes me drowned. Please be really careful when swimming there especially for people who do not know how to swim. I was walking in the pool then sudden unintended dropped into 1.4meter pool. Lucky my bf was there to help me through or else I might have sacrificed, where theres no one swimming around at all.

A quiet, tranquil place nestled in residential neighborhood of Kuala Lumpur. Beauty, simplicity, peacefulness. We booked a package that included an excellent 60 min Wellness massage and delicious dinner for 2. Every room is unique and tastefully designed. Warm hospitality exudes from all. Afternoon Teh Tarik and snacks. Happy hour with free flow drinks. Evening bed covers turned down and a tray of nighttime delights including Port and Chocolate Bon Bons! The whole experience was absolutely lovely. We will be back!

We were very excited for the stay as we were celebrating but unfortunately it left us disappointed. It was probably an amazing place at one time but right now needs refurbishing. The staff were attentive and friendly. I loved the small touches like sending port wine and snacks before bedtime and a cake for my birthday. The resort however is extremely outdated and run down. The taps in the room were loose and there was rotten wood in the bathroom and surrounding areas. The food is absolutely awful. We had the set which was alright but had ordered Ala carte. A simple char kway yeow which you would think is fairly safe choice but it’s the worst I’ve had. It tasted of nothing but soya with a few overcooked prawns. We had asked for dinner served at 8 but I had to call at 830 to remind them. They also initially insisted we eat at the restaurant as they had already set up even though we called them a few hours before to have dinner in the room. Omelette for breakfast was overcooked and inedible which is quite sad as it a pretty standard dish. To be fair they did offer to make another but I decide the porridge was safer. It was fortunate we only stayed for a night. Finally I had left the port wine set next to the bedside and when we woke up in the morning, a huge cockroach had ended up in the glass. Needless to say for someone who’s greatest fear are roaches. This really put me off even though I know we are in the tropics. Overall we would not recommend Villa Samadhi and would never go again. There were pros but many cons unfortunately. I have highlighted these to the staff who have taken note I hope as it’s really unfortunate.

The plus point will be the direct access pool, quiet nest in a city center, and the heated whirlpool. With the price, probably can throw in some mineral waters for the guests. One bottle is too little. Remember to pack mosquito repellent

We checked in on a Friday and when we came in, no one greeted us or tell us where to park our car. we were made to figure out ourselves when there were a couple of staffs just sitting at the reception. Upon checking in, we were told that they are understaffed and we should expect delays in service, which I find it odd as we have already done our share of the bargain, which is paying top dollar for an enjoyable stay. Fast forward to the rooms, we noticed many things were missing; no glasses to drink, no grooming kit, only one bathrobe was given, AND, the bed sheet had stains. We then found that even the towels given had stains. Upon checking with the reception to please replace these items, we were met with the most aggressive service I've ever had. The receptionist immediately stood up and started getting defensive and telling us they are doing the best they could and they are understaffed. This aggressive service continued on the second day too, when I asked for extra water. Took them 20mins with no replies and when I went to see them, the receptionist again acted aggressively and clearly showing she was annoyed by our presence. I spoke to the assistant manager and the service did improve a bit. On the facilities, we can see it's not being maintained well. The Jacuzzi had dirty water in it and we don't see anyone adding chlorine to the pool. Apart from workers picking up fallen leaves in the pool, there was not much cleaning going on. And true enough, both of us got sick the next day after swimming in the pool. Overall I would say this place is massively overpriced and overrated. You'd think after paying so much, they would care enough to give you little things like a friendly smile or a warm greet but throughout our stay, we could see all the workers are clearly not happy to be there. everyone had a sour face, and even when we walk pass thru them and smile, they will not acknowledge. Terrible management led to a horrible service.

Celebrated wife's birthday here stayed in the luxe Sarang . Overall was a romantic experience as the villa's give you that Bali vibe in the middle of the city. No kids allowed into the premises. The highlight of course your own jacuzzi in the room that will be turn on from 2 - 5pm and 6-11pm. Best to go on weekday as the rates are cheaper or book way ahead of time as weekends are full. Breakfast was unlimited as its made to order. Definitely recommended

Location wise was great since im from the city. The room was spacious, we booked the luxe crib. Whirpool was a good experience. I love the shower coz why not? Dinner options were many and we loved both the salted egg prawns and sweet and sour pork with bigger portions as well. Amin was accomodating all throughout our stay from taking our dinner reservations up to food recommendations. Breakfast is just ok though but overall its the great experience we had getting a break from our busy daily lives. Good place to relax and recover.

Perfect secluded and romantic getaway for couples from the hustle and bustle of KL. Unfortunately could do better in areas of maintenance (eg: rain shower head clogged and leaking) and providing full care package (eg: no basic toiletries care package in room like shower cap and cotton earbuds, lotion) with the price point charged. Compared with other high end hotels, lotions are provided. Welcome gifts (fruits) and slice of cake (for our anniversary) with rose petals prepared in the room was a plus point. Breakfast was above average (delicious!), the strong points were the service and the drinks variety during breakfast. However limiting guests orders seemed like they were trying to cut cost. Overall, the venue is rustic and perfect for you and loved one, but Villa Samadhi gives the impression they are trying to cut costs even though charging premium prices to guests. I would give 3.5 / 5 stars. Hope they maintain the venue well as the timber is beautiful.

One of my top places for staycation. Book the loft for extra privacy and the private pool. It’s soooo much better (although more expensive) but it’s so worth it. Surprise your loved ones or just go on your own. Been wanting to try the massage but I haven’t get the chance to yet. I must go the next time I’m here!

I enjoyed my time in the villa. Things I liked were the decor and ambience of the place. Love the heated jacuzzi and spacious shower area. Drinking water in the 'labu sayung' in the room was a nice touch. Breakfast selection was unremarkable. My pancakes came a little dry and I wished I was given good butter and better quality jam with it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was a little bit tight the day we arrived but not a major inconvenience. Overall a pleasant stay. Perhaps the proprieters will consider putting qiblah markers somewhere in the rooms (it can be placed discreetly if one wishes so ie in the drawers ) as it makes it easier for muslim guests to pray.

Not that bas not that excellent.. I expected wiser villa for my luxe sarang.. maybe the only room that got closed plunge pool is my villa.. One thing I enjoyed the plunge pool n swimming pool.. Maybe u can improve to not charge for drinks provided in the fridge.. more flexible hours for luxe sarang customers.. The rest are OK.. Some staffs are friendly and some are not..

We had a very pleasant stay here. Rooms were very clean, the chef was very accommodating with our dietary requirements and the Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We very much enjoyed the hospitality by Rajib and Faysal. Highly recommended this little gem of a resort.

Best place to stay in KL. Such a relaxing sanctuary in the middle of the city. Anyone wanna feel recharge and have a short vacation but don't wanna travel far, this is the best. Quite close to travel anywhere within KL. But for me, I prefer to relax at the villa and have a peace of mind.. I just love the vibes. Great service! Keep it up!

Fantastic getaway in city centre of KL, behind Russian embassy in Ampang. Take a room with a whirlpool you won't regret. Superb for couples quiet romantic staycation. Nice service. Pool is clean and refreshing. Sunbeds need to be cleaned Food choices very limited. No gluten free and lactose free choices for breakfast. Very generic and same menu for lunch and dinner. Super limited breakfast options which you need to order in advance. Too many eggs dished and no rice , no fresh fruits and vegetables

Hotel offers a nice view. The staff is very friendly, and the location is not so far from the city. Had a great time with my wife and girlfriend even though they kept fighting each other. Might consider coming here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kuala Lumpur Villa Samadhi, and I have to say that it was a truly peaceful and tranquil experience. The villa is set in a beautiful, secluded location that feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The grounds are immaculately maintained, with lush gardens and a peaceful pond that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Inside the villa, I found the decor and ambiance to be equally peaceful and calming. The spacious rooms and comfortable furnishings made it easy to unwind after a long day of sightseeing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a true retreat from the stresses of everyday life. The staff at Kuala Lumpur Villa Samadhi were also a highlight of my stay. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed. They truly made me feel at home and played a big part in making my stay such a peaceful and relaxing experience. Overall, I highly recommend Kuala Lumpur Villa Samadhi to anyone looking for a tranquil and luxurious escape in Kuala Lumpur. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the city.

Very enjoyable weekend, had a relaxing time by the pool, towels and bed are freshly made. Attentive staff that sent water at moments notice. Smooth check in. Good getaway from the bustling city without leaving the city. Recommended for couples or family
