I come here since I study in University Malaya (2013-2017). Pak Ali and family are so humble. Food still tasty and roti canai still fluffy. Daripada dulu kuah, telur semua tak kedekut. Roti tetap sedap 👍I pray their business survive and strong no matter how economy always fluctuate.

Located in between rumah pangsa, the shop seating is open air, and very crowded during brekkie hour. Parking could be a pain depending on your visiting hours. The whole ordering setup is DIY, you have to Q for odering, pay, and get your food, so you must have somebody / something to secure seats. It could be bit confusing for first timer. The Roti Tsunami is roti canai drenched in curry and dal, plus 2 half boiled egg. Honestly the taste is so so. the teh tarik sweetness level is rather high.

This hawker is all self service. First your order roti and take the roti. Then order drink and take drink. Must order roti tsunami. You know the nasi lemak is fresh when the anchovies are still crispy. Total price for Roti tsunami + nasi lemak + teh tarik is RM 7.30 nett. Come before 8am to avoid the crowd.

Roti spesial is my favourite breakfast ever, and the roti here (roti tsunami) is one of the best I've tasted - rich flavours, perfectly poached eggs, fluffy bread. The owner was very warm and the service was great. If I live around the corner, I'd be here almost daily.

previous review said be prepare for a long queue, but i didn’t even have to. I came on Friday at 9 AM. got a warm service from the owner and all staff. they will guide you for the first time comer, such as : - go to stall for self service (order and pick up by yourself) - find an empty seat - order drink - pay (if you look younger, the staff will ask if you are student or not 😅 because they will give a discount for a student)

Rustic, unpretentious, honest and family owned. If you want to feel like you are part of the family, come on over here. Talk to owners and staff, they will entertain you like family. Food is good. Freshly made upon order. We had the bomb, tsunami and sardine.

Roti Banjir - Parata drenched in dhal, sambal & gravy Roti Canai Tsunami - Parata drenched in dhal , sambal, gravy & 2 half boiled eggs It’s the same as the Indian parata but it’s called roti Cha-nai in Malaysia. @aliroticanaitsunami is one of the best places in Kuala Lumpur if you want to try Roti Canai, they open at 7am & it was quite packed, I had to wait for around 15 mins in queue. The staff are very friendly & helpful, save this spot for your next KL trip 🤩 📍 @aliroticanaitsunami , open Tuesday- Sunday from 7am - 11.30am Closed on Mondays

We’re strangers and definitely, not used to Malaysian culture and food. The staff is friendly and really helped us out - even gave us some reco depending on our tastes - Very affordable (less than 2 EUR) for 2 breakfast plates and 2 drinks. Speechless and stomachfull

👍👍 Good place with good halal food. The ambient is nice (with soothing music just like when I was visiting Spa) After ordering, we got bread and butter to snack on while waiting for food. I really liked their hospitality. Nowadays not many restaurants do this...so, thumbs up! No wrong orders, and the f...
