We came here after seeing a video posted by Daniel Dines on Instagram. Since he mentioned that the place has been operating for a hundred years. We got here at 930am and ordered the Wanton Noodles with Char Siew and another wanton noodles with braised mushrooms. We had some potato curry on the side as well. There were only 4 people working at the time, the owner, his staff, an older gentleman and I'm assuming his grand mother. The restaurant was full ish when we got there. Food took 40 minutes to arrive. The food in general was alright, But definitely not worth the 40 minute wait. The curry sauce was quite flavourful. But that was about it, I think if you are craving wantan mee and you're nearby, you can drop by. But not worth going all the way there to try it.

Looking for old schooled kind of wanton mee, this is the place to be. Haven't been this place for ages as recently only found out that this shop is still open. The wanton noodles are still springy as those days. Though the dry style sauce was slightly different, it was the bitter kind and tasty. The char siew was the traditional kind and the wantons soup was rather flavourful. One of the best wanton that I ever tasted. The chicken curry was the mild type and very 'chinese style' which also taste good. The chicken feet cooked with mushrooms are popular here, shouldn't be missed. Love the local coffee here, do give it a try!

They have been featured on various food related social media page. Happened to be in KL and staying around Bukit Bintang, decided to drop by for lunch. Reached the place slightly after 12pm, the place was almost 3/4 filled. This place was operated by a young chap and 2 elderly lady. Apart from wanton noodle, they also have a few different types of noodle heres, braised mushroom, curry chicken etc. I ordered the wanton noodle which was MYR$8 if i didn't remember wrongly. Food took slightly long than expected to be ready. My food came around 20mins later. First impression, the portion quite small, it comes with thinly sliced charsiew and 2 wantons. Taste wise, it was okay, strong lardy taste to it. Noodle was nicely cooked, texture of the noodle was springy. Overall, noodle was average. However, it was great to know that things like the noodle and even the wanton skins were homemade.

One of the rare find for traditional wanton mee. It’s is just next to Park Royal Hotel Kuala Lumpur in case you want to know where it is. Walking distance from Bukit Bintang MRT. Food taste: 8.8/10 (ordered dry wanton mee and curry chicken, I prefer the original dry wanton mee vs curry chicken wanton mee. The char siew has the ‘smoke’ taste, love it. The vegetable is really fresh and the noodle is very nice as you can see it’s shape is solid which shows good quality). Food portion: 8.6/10 because the portion is just right for me (not a big eater). Service: 8.7/10 Environment: 7.2/10 (the furnitures is quite old) Price: Affordable for daily Overall, this place is well known and true to its reputation. If I stay nearby I’d go visit often. Recommended place to eat.

This was a good experience. Very authentic coffee shop. The noodles had a nice texture. Mushrooms are an absolute must - big and plumpy. Chicken feet was good too. But the wan tan itself was very small and the char siew a little bland. Portioning was fair for the price. Overall a good experience😋

Born and raised in Jalan Alor area and yet didn't notice this 'wanton' mee Kopitiam. It's been 103 years since interviewed at KLFoodie IG. Facing two great cinemas, Pavilion and The Cathay in the '80s were my fav go-to for Box-Office movies. So, I paid a visit. At first, the front entrance was blocked by tables and I thought it is only to take away. Found out you only walk in thru the side. I ordered the usual 'Char Siew wanton' noodles, dry with a size big (two noodles). The noodle was so thin and fine, which is for guys who can eat, take double noodle. 'Char Siew' (BBQ Pork) on the other side was kind of thin slicing and quite lean meat on the hard side. But the 'wanton' was a really good, fresh ingredient, a little to a smaller size. I don't like 'wanton' meat tastes a little sour. I ordered the additional mushroom and it was big, thick, and juicy. Didn't know they served curry chicken noodles. Also, the coffee was decent too. My visit meal cost RM18.70 for big-size noodles with additional mushrooms. Coming back for the thin fine noodle and this time will try the chicken curry.

Love the wonton. Silky skin. Char Siew is tender and fat-free. Sauce is yum.

I visited this restaurant after watching the abang adik movie. Today I visited the shop and met the shop owner. I like this place so much. 1. The shop is nice and a good place to eat. 2. The noodle and char Siew is super yummy. 3. The business owners and staff are very friendly. 4. The customer there is a good crowd. They provide a peaceful place to their customers to enjoy their meal. I will revisit this shop again.

Last eaten there was like 20+ years ago, therefore cannot compare whether it taste better or worst now. Reached there on a weekday (Tuesday) at about 12.10pm and the shop was only 20% occupied. Food was served very quickly. I can say it was way below my expectations and the noodle was soggy and sticky. But I kind of like the char siew as it has the smoky (peaty) taste. It’s RM10 for a small Char Siew Wanton. 20 mins later when I left, it was even emptier.

👍👍 Good place with good halal food. The ambient is nice (with soothing music just like when I was visiting Spa) After ordering, we got bread and butter to snack on while waiting for food. I really liked their hospitality. Nowadays not many restaurants do this...so, thumbs up! No wrong orders, and the f...
