Cool place to hangout with friends. Awesome live band and cool DJ.

I think it’s one of the better Tamil clubs around. Service was good, security was all around, good crowd control, drinks are reasonably priced. Music is a mix or old and new. Live band is not to bad either. Wished the bass was a lil lower so we can actually hear the music.

It's a 2 storey bar with the 3rd floor dedicated for smokers. Environment was okay but a little cramped up with the live band on daily basis but price for whiskey and vodka bottles are very expensive. I don't mind paying for that price but orange juice refill was Rm20 per jug (2 jugs and 2 cans of soda were given as complementary) so I had to pay RM80 just for refills. Most of the bars has unlimited of refills for the mixing.

Decent crowd and live band was good. Draugh beer was really bad. The bouncers mostly rude. they always give table all the way behind even you req table near stage when you make reservation. According to them we need to book really really early which doesnt make sense. Coz once my cousin booked 2 weeks bfr they still gave us place all the way behind. first come first serve should be good.

Good music and nice to see Indian bands expressing themselves. A showcase of talents. However, the drinks are not up to mark. Cocktails are diluted. Also patrons are highly advised to check their bills before paying. Please also improve on the entry requirements- seems that those well connected are allowed to enter although claimed as full house and some denied entry. Kind of unstructured crowd management.

My wife and I decided to have a group gathering at this place. Unfortunately one of the drunk male patrons chose to harass one of the female members of our group. However all the response we got from the staff was that the said individual was a friend of the owner. Women's safety is not negotiable, club owners should be held accountable. WOMEN BEWARE!!

The musics and live band here are really good. The song selections are awesome. Retro, classics, modern and whatever that you like are played here. Can be very crowded at times. The bouncers are rude but then again if they aren't the crowd will get over. Drinks are slightly pricey. I wouldn't say it's a good choice to chill and relax but if you're looking for fun and dance then this is the place

The live band and the dj were super good!!! The songs sung and played were not the usual club songs but it was so good! I would highly recommend this place if you love good music. The vibes were great. It does quite crowded over the weekend try to make reservations before you head down.

To experience a memorable night out, your choice should definitely be Madras. They’ve got live band playing Tamil songs almost every night of the week, so you don’t have to wait for the weekend to enjoy great songs after a hard day’s work. The place is clean, air conditioned and most importantly, security there is pretty good, they’ve got people downstairs and upstairs who are friendly but quick to intervene. My most favourite part about Madras, it’s right above Shuruti Box. Start your night with a hearty dinner and chill out music downstairs, and follow up upstairs at Madras for a fun filled dance-till-you-drop night. So girls, it’s safe to say (pun intended), you should organise your next girls-night-out at Madras and experience it yourselves.

A great place to listen to Tamil live band. Awesome song selection and sound system. Plus, the place is clean, staff is friendly and most important of all, nice crowd because it is controlled well by their management.

This was by far one of the best Indian club which I've been to. The selection of songs was great, loved the place as it was happening and huge crowd. Already planning our next session here!

The bouncers in this place are there to instigate a fight, not to prevent it, and mind you this was over a bag that was slung across the chest. Apparently, its a rule. A rule that was not mentioned to us when we were allowed in or when we were inside the first 2 hours. Rules should be implemented the right way and enforced professionally, unless of course being professional in this context means being verbally aggressive with superfluous remarks, topped up with some major napolean complex. Left this place on a sour note. Not keen on exploring this otherwise promising bar.

Madras is the place to be - To enjoy an awesome night out with the energetic live bands and deejay sounds belting out the wonderful Tamil music hits which brings back fond memories while grooving to the memorable dance beats. The Security team is top notch and ensuring that patrons are having a good time with utmost safety. Overall a superb club with great lightings, brilliant sound system and a friendly service crew !

Everything is okay except for damn cold air conditioning. I was shivering in the club and when i requested to lower down the aircond, the staff said no. You expecting us to bring sweater to a club? Or comforter to wrap around myself?

I had a bad experience there last night. I wanted to request a song but I was declined in a very discriminating way. I was literally told that “I’m a nobody”, instead of just saying “no”. Such a shame!

Had so many amazing nights here in Madras, with friends and family. Truly enjoy the vibe and the music here. Their live band is really good especially, they entertain the crowd. Good mix of a little old and new tamil songs. But have to warn you 😁 the place is happening so it’s normally packed !! There is a nice restaurant downstairs as well, called Shruti box, with and Indian Fusion kind of menu. So can have dinner, chat and some light drinks before heading up to Madras for a party 😆! Definitely a great party place, if you’re looking to listen to a live band and dance!

Recently soaked up the fantastic tunes at Madras Live Band in KL! Despite being based in Singapore, whenever I'm in KL, Madras is my go-to spot. The energetic atmosphere and bustling crowd always create the best vibes!

Been to Madras many times now with friends and family. Enjoyed every time we were there, never had an issue. Good music, bands great, plays mix of Tamil, Hindi and even Punjabi songs. I think local songs as well. Drinks are good, no headache the next day, so its "clean" :).... As for security, never had an issue or when we were there, never seen a fight or rukus in Madras. So overall good place to unwind, enjoy the night and hit the dance floor for those who love to dance.

Terrible place, terrble attitude of the workers there. It was a Christmas eve night, i went to bangsar for a emergency company meeting, for obvious reason Telawi will always be packed with people on xmas eve night, parking is very hard to find, i saw someone coming out from a parking spot nearby the "Noisy Neighbour Bar" their workers stood by the parking spot, stopping me from parking the spot, i went and told him, its a goverment registered parking spot and i know i have the rights to park in here, they threatened to hurt me and my car, Testing me. It was a very bad and traumatic experience. For the owner or higher up of the restaurant, if you are reading, please look into this situation. I felt threaten that night, if theres any damage done to me and my car, i will definitely get justice served.

Not as the old madras the person Incharge of arranging table is worst we came early and he gave us a bad table and we also asked to change table the reason he gave us to book early. I booked 3 weeks back. This not the first time happening to me and i also dont know how early to book. Maybe I should book 3 months earlier? Haha

No comments for this club...always good and excellent...but today live band 25/08 is totally out guys...the singer need lots of improvement 🙏 one star just for the live band yah not the club...

The live performances were good. But the worker's attitude can be improved. The cocktails were really bad. Better to order bottle of wine.

Awesome place. Excellent DJ & Live band. I was there for 5hrs & alone. The waiters & security was tight & kind to take care of me. Kept checking on me every half hour. The crowd was well behave. I definitely felt safe.

Nice place,great band however way too cold for comfort,staff refused to turn down the air conditioning unit despite acknowledging that there were many complaints on the matter. Multiple visits have resulted in the same- tread with caution and a sweater!

Absolutely amazing Indian club! The live band on a Friday night is too damn good. They play acoustic covers of popular songs and they do it so well. The DJ is great at keeping the crowd pumped too. The space is a bit small so it can get a bit crowded so it’s not good for people with claustrophobia. However, I had an awesome time and would definitely visit again. 💯

A best place to enjoy with buddies. We had good time there. Friendly workers and very satisfied with the service and beverage. A place that must to be visit again.

We always have a great experience at Madras Club KL. This place is extremely extravagant, the ambience is great with the live band and good music - no doubt for everyone to dance away. The service and security is also top notch. Overall, it's always a fun filled experience which for me and my friends... value for money. I would give 5 star for the club, sound system, lighting and service. But this 1 star is for the live band. He is shouting rather than singing. We need singers not shouter’s. Please have a look on this. I came with lot’s of hope due to my last visit with great live band (monkey cap guy) 🫣 Sorry I forget his name.

One of the best club in KL. Definitely can’t go wrong with Madras KL! Advisable to reserve prior to avoid disappointment. Great service and safety quality, best sound system and marvelous fun- friendly live bands. Reasonably priced as well for the environment & quality. A perfect spot to unwind!!

I've been to Madras countless times, and one things for sure, they never ever disappoint. The environment and the atmosphere will forever be close to my heart. The staff are amazingly friendly, service is fast and undeniably efficient. 👍🏻 Also, a huge contributor to the atmosphere lies within the band and the sound and lights providers or engineers. I think they've done a splendid job throughout and have never failed in keeping the crowd entertained and people on their feet. 🙌 In my experience, by a long shot, one of the best places to spend the night when you're in town. I've visited Madras at least five to six times and it has never disappointed me! A fantastic setting. The atmosphere here is electrifying and one-of-a-kind. You'll fall in love with the live band and their eclectic mix of Punjabi, English and Tamil songs. This is an excellent venue for a night of nonstop dancing. The staff is extremely friendly and provides excellent service. As someone with a background of safety, I can assure you that customer safety is a top priority. A must-visit party club!
