Their blueberry scone and cheesy spinach taste so good! Also, their Mango salad is in a big bowl, good for 2 servings. Coffee is great. We would definitely try pasta and pizza next time. Their menu has a range of selections. They also have vegan, vegetarian and less carbs options. However, it is best to be seated inside because there are a lot of mosquitoes outside. I literally had more than 10 mosquito bites in just a span of 30-45mins. The staff are friendly and nice.

Food was nice. Coffee is okay but i have had better coffee elsewhere. No playground or Kids’ space nowadays, but i like the big space. They do have selections of Books for us to choose from but the space looks like it needs an upgrade. They took physical distancing seriously hence the tables are far apart from each other, which is good. The sugar free chocolate cake topping was good, lamb sausage in the big breakfast was superb, pesto was amazing. Recommended if you are Looking for a place that could cater to multiple needs of different individuals, halal, vegetarian, healthy etc.

Laid back cafe place at a quiet area off Jalan Tun Razak/ Jalan Ampang. Food was bland and one dimensional, but the coffee made up for it a bit. Chicken was hardly marinaded, and pastas tasted flat.

Love the space here. If you’re into clean eating / vegetarian / vegan then this place suits you. Could barely taste the salt in my big breakfast, which I’m not complaining. Portion are generous. Additionally it’s rarely to have lamb sausage option, which they have. Coffee is decent. Price is at the higher end. Service was quick.

Went here a couple of weeks ago with a friend. I had their Fried Chicken Burger and Belgian Mocha. The burger was nice with a piece of fried chicken so big that I couldn't finish it.. The mocha was a good one if you like dark chocolate. Other good stuff about this place are their options for vegetarians and their own parking space.

the first impression to me is although the place does not have a bling bling outsidr board, they have huge space inside, whether you like to look at trees, in house, privacy or a bit intimacy you can find all here, next is their diverse menu which mostly is related to vegan and coffee, i only tried the milk salty coffee but for a person rarely drinks coffee, it is fine for me, the coffee gave me a tipsy around 2 hours after finish; lastly all could be perfect if the employees can have a bit more concern about customer needs, they can once a while ask about coffee quality or if customers have any other needs. Overall still fine.

Nice place for breakfast and brunch. Atmosphere is comfortable and not too crowded. We didn't have to wait for our table when we arrived at 10.30am on a public holiday. Good place to have a catch up with friends and family.

First time here and it didn't disappoint. Loved the design of this cafe makeover from an old bungalow. Indoor and outdoor dining as well. We came around noon for lunch, and it wasn't too crowded, lots of empty spaces, so you will feel comfortable and safe. Menu selection are great, and tempting !! So we end up ordering their breakfast menu (available until 2pm) Avocado Brioche & Sunny Eggs with Beef Bacon - presentation was good, avocado was perfect, brioche was good, beef bacon was alright, and salads was crips and fresh. No complains. Spinach Garlic Cheese Omelette & Toast with Smoked Salmon - Omelette was cooked perfectly, the combination of spinach cheese and smoke salmon was comforting, tasted really good. I really liked this one. Then we tapau blueberry scone, and had salted caramel latte. - scones were alright, and the latte was good. Service was quick, staffs are friendly and the cafe is clean and comfy. Overall we had a good time for a quick lunch here. Would i ever come again? - Yes Would i recommend to others? - Yes Thanks for reading. 😁

Very very disappointed with the waiter (John) and manager (Steve). Went there today at 8am for breakfast with family and we ordered vegan breakfast without onion and garlic. My husband made the order at the counter with john and requested vegan breakfast without onion and garlic. He confirmed that the food has no onion and garlic. We waited almost 20 minutes for the food. Once it was on the table, the waiter told us not to eat first and to wait for him until he confirms with the chef if its allium free (without onion and garlic). We waited for another 5 minutes and he told us that unfortunately the food on the table has onion and garlic. When we asked him why didn’t he confirm with the chef first before ordering, he gave us excuse that the chef was not around so he asked from other staffs. Then he started suggesting non vegan food as substitute even after mentioning that we are vegans. My husband was not happy at all and he asked if he can speak with the manager. The manager took his own sweet time drinking coffee and finishing his breakfast and chatting with the waiter before attending to us (glass door). We had a 2 year old kid with us and we wasted almost an hour here in this cafe by the time. So, the manager came to us and defended his waiter because he was a new staff!!! Wondering how come a new staff can be at the cashiers counter. Never seen this kind of staffs ever!!! He didn’t know how to resolve the issue or pacify a customer and immediately spoke about refund. In my opinion he did not have adequate experience in f&b and problem solving. This is how good brands get bad name. Miss Li Chan, i hope you will look into this matter. Thank you!

The service was really great and fast. Did some work there and had a good time. I ordered their big breakfast. Personally, I prefer if they put in more salt & pepper in their veggies, but its perfect for those controlling their sodium intake. They do provide s&p on the side for you to adjust to your own taste. Wished they baked/grilled the tomato a bit cause quite hard to cut. Portion is so fulfilling, dont think I need lunch for the day ^-^ Their matcha latte is okay, suggest they give coaster with the iced drinks.

If you are a vegan you will LOVE the breakfast options there. (But also at least as much options for non-vegans!) Super friendly staff and feels still like a hidden gem. Would definitely recommend!

One of my favorite spot for coffee in KL for its coffee taste alone. One of the best coffee in Kuala Lumpur (if not in Malaysia). Not to forget that this cafe setup in an old bungalow lot in a really calm neighbourhood at the center of Kuala Lumpur. It is a good spot to hang out with friends over coffee and good quality cafe food with great and homey environment. There are few car parks spot in the cafe compound and few more outside the area. Price wise, i will still considered their coffee price is on the lower side of KL coffee scene.

I can't believe this charming place has existed so long without coming under my radar. Moreover, it is near my old neighbourhood. Try as I may, I cannot remember what it was like before i.e who lived here etc. Anyway, I am glad I found out about this place and took mom here recently to check out our old 'hood. The food is great and coffee is even better. Mom loves the plants around the entire compound. I think we will be back regularly.

Peaceful ambience with a unique warmth, as it's in an old bungalow nestled in the heart of the upper class Ampang neighborhood. This is a cafe you will return for the vibes and people. Food is as normal cafes' food are, though the iced coffee my friend ordered smelled fragrant (can you imagine being able to smell the aroma of an iced cold drink?!) The friendly staff makes the place lovelier.

Great cheesecake: light, tender and tasty, not too sweet, covered with berry puree, decorated with the little strawberry and piece of gold. I really enjoyed it. They have not really big choice of the cakes (more pastry), but I loved mine. Coffee beans are also great, I buy them for the second time, and the roasting is balanced, quality is good as well. The cafe is located a little bit aside from the main activities, but it is worth visiting.

We just spent a delightful afternoon back here and once again, we can't praise this place enough. This time we happily devoured their vegan hemp seed burger and perfectly cooked chips. The fizzy lemonade was refreshing and we just had to finish off with the vegan pumpkin, chocolate cake and vegan carrot cake ( sooooo good). It was quite busy when we arrived but were welcomed within moments and offered menus. Service is impeccable and always delivered with a genuine smile. If it were purely vegan, I would give this restaurant five stars.

Set in the backlanes close to KL city - perfect hideout to sip into a cinnamon latte, find a corner seat and read a book. Or if you are with family it’s like a visit to a nice home with friendly staff, decent food and a place for the kids to enjoy. It’s a very different experience than the normal restaurants and food places in KL. So if you are mobile then take a drive down and enjoy the ambience and food this place has to offer. We had a latte and pumpkin soup. Cinnamon latte was tasty. Pumpkin soup was creamy and thick. The veggie sides not great. Bread was decent. I would visit this place when I need to just chill and have a laid back breakfast or brunch.

The ambience has chanaged from cosy couch sitting to packed tables and chairs. My kid misses playing with toys and other kid stuff that used to be a part of the property. There are no menus except one big menu display on the wall which is away from the sitting area, so everytime u need to look at the menu u come out to the reception area. The staff seems to be a bunch of college like kids who could definitely do better in terms of customer service. The guy behind the counter has a brattish attitude lacking professionalism. These things make a big difference. Wish our experience had been better.

Have been on my must-try list for a while now and finally ordered from them through FoodPanda today. Could totally relate to the others who gave them 5 stars rating. Their food quality is great, and value for money - one of the best variation of summer rolls that I have tried, didn't know that alfalfa sprout would be such a great addition to a summer roll before this and their peanut dressing is amazing. Also tried their vegan fruits waffle -- soo delicious and I think they added banana in the waffle batter cause I can taste a hint of banana in the waffle too. Would love to visit them in-person with my dog soon. ---- Another two new recommendations: dairy free pizza & vegan cinnamon roll.

The vegan breakfast platter makes me believe I could actually become a vegan for life. RGB is so creative with their ingredients especially with how they make the fake egg out of yams (?). Bunch of different items on the plate that complement one another really well. The restaurant itself is spacious with many indoor and outdoor spaces. Gets a bit packed on weekends.

Portion was big, reasonable prices, food was mediocre not the best. But the waffles was really good - wouldn’t mind coming again for that. I like the cafe’s vibes and environment. Don’t sit in the aircond space, it can get a bit chilly and flies be around.

Minimalist aesthetic cafe. Food is good and price is also affordable. Ambience is so calming and relaxing. Best thing is their menu have everything for everyone. With vegan food they also serve Jain food which is rare in Malaysia. If you are a book lover then you gonna love this place.

Nice cosy ambiance , probably went at the right timing when it wasn't packed and there was ample parking . Enjoyed the Nasi Lemak with Vegan Rendang . The Chai Latte was OK. A for effort on the Latte Art Attempt . The Potato Rosti was on the sweeter side. The cranberry scone was nice though and moist . Would come back again to try the Carrot Cake which was sold out.

This place is quite secluded. Inside, the setting is big and ample of spaces. The food portions are big and satisfying for the price. I ordered the French roast chicken, it was delicious. Also ordered was their salad. Very good experience overall.

Secluded spot for coffee. You need a car or to get a grab to get here really. We had flat white coffee, the chicken and waffles and a mango salad. The chicken waffles were v tasty and the sauce with curry leaf was excellent. Mango salad was refreshing and light. Food was not bad at all. Coffee was good, all round think this place was nice, it is just difficult to get to and a little expensive. However very pleasant place to stay, read a book, work or bring your laptop to so recommend it highly for that.

Haven't been here since MCO and used to like the food. Unfortunately the food quality has dropped. We ordered 2 pastas one Pesto and one Aglio Olio. Both were too oily and over cooked. The Aglio Oilo was way too spicy. Coffee are OK but not fantastic.

This place was recommended to us by a friend. I’m glad we chose to dine in indoors as it was hot outside and cool with the A/C on inside. The ambience was really chill and lovely. Beautiful interior and used books available to read or exchange or you can pay RM5-10 as donation to take away a book. Saw a few people working on their laptops here so it is a work-friendly space. There’s parking within the compound and on the roadside. We ordered the Beef Brisket on Rye, Aglio Olio with Smoked Duck and Matcha Lemonade. My partner’s beef brisket’s portion is really large. My aglio olio with the duck is a 10/10 for me, the smoked duck was really flavourful and complemented the pasta perfectly. I liked the matcha lemonade but it wasn’t for my partner, so I’d say it’s definitely an acquired taste.

Love the homey and humble setting of this place. They served all-day breakfast set, which is pretty lovely. I like how it seems to be hidden in this housing area. Avocado and scramble egg, with mushroom on toast was delish! Not quite a big fan of the French toast with strawberry (RM18) tho, the toast was pretty huge and halfway through the strawberry sauce was gone. It felt 'dry' at some point and without the right companion, the toast seems incomplete and lost its shine. But that's probably just my preference. I prefer having French toast with melted butter on top, with honey and fruits, while having something creamy like whipped cream, or yogurt on the side. Partners are pretty crucial when it comes to this kind of dish. Each ingredients makes the bite better, that's just how it is with toast.

RGB is a nice coffee shop/eatery in a small residential neighborhood off the beaten track of downtown KL. They offer quite nice coffee and a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. At 20-30 RMB a plate it is not the cheapest in KL but that is offset by quite generous portion sizes. As it is only 900 meters from the Thai consulate it is worth a quick walk for a nice breakfast when you are done with your paperwork. They have a few different cozy rooms to sit in as well as outside seating.

Vegan cafe hidden in KL city. Cozy atmosphere. Promoting natural, raw food and drinks to public. Both air-cond and open-aired areas are available. One thing amazed me is the selection of non-diary milk; soy, almond, oat, which is not available in many cafes. Food is tasty and simple. Limited parking spots within the premise, alternate option is to park along road side.

A casual and friendly no frills cafe/ restaurant set in a bungalow with lots of greens, yeah, love the matured huge trees surrounding this area. Yet easily accessible in city center. Love the vegan and vegetarian options! The coffee was delicious and so was the pie. But the pie was tiny and quit expensive (especially for that size) the food was good except the potato rosti. It was just a lot of potato, still raw in the middle and almost bot baked (see picture). But they where super friendly about it and let me switch to the hummus & avocado toast which was so delicious that I didn't even have time to make a picture of it! There is also a children's play area which we really liked :) Follow us on Instagram for our travels @DigitalNomadMom

One of the better places to get specialty coffee. Near the city center but still secluded enough to allow outdoor seating privacy (which is usually lacking inside the city). Spacious and cozy. Many seating spaces that are separated form each other. Parking is available (which is also lacking in the city). Staff are friendly. You can buy fancy coffee beans here at good prices.

Not kid friendly restaurants. Worst.

Been here at least 10 times per year since 2015. Never disappoints, every single item of the menu is wonderful. Only the attitude of the staff varies as they change over the years, but its okay. Hope to continue coming here in the years ahead 😉👍

Delicious food and desseets with lots of varieties. Credo to their coffee. Recommended to the coffee lovers out there. Best coffee in the city! Lovely ambience and friendly staff

First time to this place. We had our meal outside, too many flies making it uncomfortable to eat our meals. Food was so-so. Service crew not very friendly and not familiar with the items on the menu. Limited parking space.

I love here because of good environment (it has many plants, good place to chill) , food was delicious, many food options, easy to find parking. Suggestion: improve your services. When I stepped in, many tables left unclean, no one is willing to serve us, there are two staff just chit chatting at the counter. I actually feel lost, like where should I sit, where should I order etc. And seeing some staff took vape in front of customers. Hopefully will see some improvement next visit. Overall , very recommend this place.

Had Belgian mocha and it was alright. Mocha that borders on the bitter side of the spectrum as its a dark chocolate based coffee. My dad had an unpleasant experience with their beef brisket sandwich. He expected it to be dried, yet it came out soaked with sweet gravy and it just ruined his day. A good place to just have coffee.

First time customer trying their Christmas menu and it was really tasty. As a vegan it is hard to feel satiated but their vegan meatloaf was flavorful and appealing. The roast chicken and sides for my family was thoroughly enjoyed as well. Most importantly the food was delivered hot which I really appreciated. Excellent service overall. Would visit again and again!

The service is so tahi. We waited 30mins for our takeaway coffee without a single apology from the staff. And that's just us, all the other poor customers seemed to be waiting much longer under the hot sun. Stay away from this placee between 10.30-3pm. Seating is outdoor now due to MCO so you'll will be seated directly under the afternoon sun ( with no wind). Eventhough they open umbrellas for you, you'll still feel the heat because there's no wind. Staff seemed unapologetic with everyone's late orders. Oh and they don't have any waiters. So the staff will have to shout your name from a window but everyone is talking so good luck hearing for your name being called. Horrible place. Never coming back.

Frequented this cafe twice. Nestled in a quite neighbourhood in Ampang. I honestly do not really enjoy the foods here as they are quite average. Edible but not delicious. There isn’t much seasoning put inside the foods and they are quite greasy. Having said that, what attracted me to this cafe was the cosy ambience that begged you to stay for another hour and order another coffee. There are also two very affectionate resident kitty cats that you can play with. I would definitely come here again not so much for the foods, but for the coffee and the whole vibes of the cafe.

Good ambience and quiet place. This restaurant offers both alternative vegan and vegetarian options. They also offer few garlic and onion free as well as gluten free options. Food wise, the meals are carefully prepared. The chef made good use of various spices.

Will be my favorite spot to do work and hangout with friends after this. The food is really awesome. Their big breakfast is delicious. Cakes on other hand is really tasty. Everyone should try their vegan cake. Free parking and cozy place because the building itself is an old building.

  • 2/5 May Yan L. 3 years ago on Google
Ordered pasta and found a long black thread in my meal. The thread was cooked together with the pasta (tangled together). Brought it to the staffs' attention and got replaced with a cake. We're grateful that they are willing to replace my meal but at that time I was too grossed out to have another dish. Considering how cleanliness and being hygienic are the main concerns these days, I think there should be new SOP to ensure that this does not happen.

Erm. Why is the rating so high? Came here because I saw high ratings but food is so so only. Coffee is ok but it came only after I finished my food.

Very poorly run and a mess. Limited coffee selection. Very run down venue.

Casual coffee place, it's a hidden gem. If you hate the human traffic at Kenny's, this is definitely the alternative. Tried their Big Breakfast (not a fan of kacang kuda) with a cup of latte. One of the must-visit spots!

  • 3/5 Syamsina 3 years ago on Google
Didnt take much pictures, just the food. I like the location of the cafe, so secluded yet still in the center of the city. Not many people there, so i enjoyed spending my time chitchatting. The food was okay² only. Just a tad overpriced, for me.

My favourite place now. Peaceful and good coffee. Latte & flat white was good, and ice salted latte even better. Came here to do some work during weekdays & weekend still not packed like other viral cafe. Keep up 👍🏼 but the sadwich is ok-ok la for me, found other place more delicious.

Avocado Cheese Melt with Scrambled Egg : Nice and fling breakfast menu. I will recommend this menu. Vegan breakfast : Comes with tempeh bacon, bread toast, vegan omelette, tofu stir fry, masala kinda chickpeas with watermelon. Not bad, can have a try as well. Vegan Mushroom Pesto Pizza : Sueprb! 5 star for this. Highly recommending. Rooibos Tea Latte : I ordered without sugar. Not sure maybe it came without sugar, the latte turn out not much tasty. Too many ice cubes also made the drink tasteless. And too much of milk. Not up to what I expected. Since they said its a new drink, I tried but it's a no! Overall, I will give 3 stars for this cafe. They have so many other options to try. Might come here next time to try other menus. For vegans, you have plenty of choices to try.

Today around 5pm I went to buy a whole cake, the service from the staffs are SO poor! There were two staffs at the counter, both of them weren’t even bothered to entertain me to buy the cake. There were just me and my brother at the counter. I remembered the last time I went here earlier of this year, different guy staff but still, poor service. I went here 3 times, the first staff I encountered was a non-local, he was nice and friendly, but I noticed the local workers are just POOR quality.

I like their coffee, it’s truly good. The environment is nice. From the minuses - the service (cleaning the tables, bringing water) is a bit weak, the food is just ok.

Came here few months ago. Loved the ambience of this place, the setting and all. We ordered a bowl of oatmeal, a slice cake and a cup of hot chocolate. The cake was Vegan Dark Chocolate Pumpkin cake. It was soooo freaking amazing! And the Hot Chocolate was super chocolatey, something we enjoyed. The oatmeal tho was average if not below average. I like the fruits, but the oats itself seem overcooked. Made me feel like I was eating oat porridge. Will definitely come here again, but will definitely will not order that oatmeal again 😅 just a suggestion, maybe use rolled oats so it doesn't overcook easily. Everything was perfect except the oats.

It took them 15 minutes to serve a latte which just sitting on the counter. The only waitress is very slow. I don’t understand why this is considered an even reasonable service here. Don’t recommend to come here if you are hungry or thirsty, but isn’t that why you go to restaurant?

  • 3/5 Lidia P. 2 years ago on Google
Really like this place for nice ambience, friendly service and good food. However would be nice to see some juices in the menu. Especially healthy vegetable juices, like celery, cucumber, carrots. Such a shame not to be able have a nice green juice for breakfast. Other than that all is great.

  • 3/5 Tom N. 2 years ago on Google
Nice location. Been there twice. Still lot of room for improvements: 1) sauce for butter chicken : only taste sweet, not buttery or salty or any layer of taste. 2)omelette somehow watery 3) chocolate banana ( cant remember it is bread or cake) but it is dense or bentat. Hoping for improvement on my next visit

A well-hidden cafe behind The Intermark Amidst the backdrop of high-rise buildings in the KL city centre, this cafe is located in the quieter row of residential area behind Jalan Tun Razak. A bungalow turned cafe, RGB is some sort of a magnet for coffee lovers who want to enjoy a cup of coffee in peace and quiet environment even though they are in the city centre. Thus one storey detached house has many sections where you can be seated. Just order your food and drinks from the counter, pay and then wait for them to be served. For me, it's sitting under semi-alfresco area sipping my latte while it rained non-stop that day. I even fell asleep for half an hour while the rest busy playing phones or just simply goofing around.

What a lovely cafe in the heart of KL! We ordered shashuka and a beef brisket sandwich. The beef is really tender. The portion is big for small eaters so the food is good for sharing. Their coffee is good too!

It's my first time coming here and the thing that caught my eyes is that little bookshelves corner with a variety of novels. The food taste great! They really focuses on healthy food and most of the food items are vegan friendly. The café gave this comfortable homey feel to it. The only thing I'd complain is the parking space is kinda small.

Love their food options as they take consideration of vegans and vegetarians food choices. Quite flexible as they are many options. Coffee is nice, and the environment is big and cozy with soft music. The AC is cooling! I had the Nasi kukus Vegan version, I would say the food taste is so so, but will come for other options as they do serve western as well.

Thank you RGB for making our small birthday celebration super special and memorable, RGB have been my family’s fav place to go for coffee and brunch whenever we feel super chill and wanted to spend our day beautifully. Their staff is very responsive, through whatsapp and in the restaurant as well, their hospitality and service is superb❤️ Their coffee is the best in town, and their food is served in a BIG portion, kind of hard to finish alone, although all of their menus deserved a 5 star rating. Super delicious especially their smoked duck aglio olio, nasi lemak, chicken burger, chicken chop!! 💕💕

It has a nice setup, in a nice quiet area but music was loud. Servers were polite and friendly. Potato rosti was disappointing. No crunch on the outside and most components (potato, spinach and sauce) were extremely bland. Just the tempeh has a bit of flavor. It was a big portion so had to force myself to finish it because it was the most expensive mushy potatoes and mushy spinach I have ever had lol. Ice latte was ok. It may have been the whole clean eating idea but maybe could use natural flavorings and spices perhaps. Not my cuppa tea.
