They close at 7pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends. 30 minutes before closing time, they stop allowing dine in but still allow takeaways. So come earlier if you wish to dine in. Oh and also, do expect a queue as it is a very popular restaurant. Even with 2 shoplots, they are full house from as early as 6.30pm (visited on a Saturday evening). Wide variety of food choices from western to eastern, rice and noodles and dishes. I ordered the english curry fish, salad chita and fried abalone mushrooms - all were very tasty, and the prices were quite reasonable for the portion we had. However, I was quite annoyed that servers were all dressed in casual clothes. Plus, they had self service stations for sauce and cutlery, so guests were all up and walking about, making it even harder to differentiate who was a guest and who was a server. Other than this which can be fixed just by having proper uniform, I have no complaints.

The revised opening hours are as following and no off day: 1. Weekday 10am-7pm 2. Weekend (Sat&Sun) 10am-8pm I ate several times here and it is my top ranked vegetarian restaurant since 10 years ago until now. Unfortunately it is too far from my home so I could only go there a few times. Each dish is recommended but it is better to go early. Otherwise, you have a long queue to wait during the dinner time.

Not a vegetarian but fall in love with their vegetarian food! Almost all foods are yummy. Love their green curry and rojak. Second visit here and sit at next station, sitting at the table nearby the toilet, it's sooo hotttt.

High-end cafe price, but pasar kopitiam level of service. Pasar & kopitiam uncle aunty might even serve me better. Sincerely hope the boss reconsider their staff's attitude. The food is actually ok, despite quite expensive. I'm fine because it is vegetarian and healthy. BUT OMG The aunty who serve me the food & ice latte is kinda rude by showing me not interested to work. I didn't really care tbh. I just want to enjoy my meal. The meal is ok. Then, when I wan to make payment to cashier. Another aunty (taller) is super rude. I just kindly ask "no credit card is it?" She straight say "cant you see? Touch n go only" OK FINE then i saw my receipt is overcharged for a meal I didn't order. I ask her for help. She straight "you ask me? How i know? I am not here just now make your receipt or order also" LMAO?????? That's how you help your customer when I just want to make payment?????? Then, she quickly randomly dissatisfied deduct that extra item from my order I really think the boss should reconsider your staff attitude if you are going to continue charge this pricey. A lot people rate 1 star for a reason Please take note. Good luck, the boss of Tian Yian Cafe. I won't come again Bye

Have been visiting here since it started with 1 retail lot, and today is 3 retail lots, about 20 years ago if not mistaken. Affordable and best vege restaurant in KL in my opinion. Overall good quality food, aroma and umami, But make sure you pick the right dishes, not all dishes are delicious, 不要踩雷, haha

Spacious with ample seats. Many choices. But a bit pricey on the whole. While I understand that taste is subjective, but in comparison to other vegetarian restaurants, this is only so-so sorry to say. Overall, from the service to the food itself, it doesn't deserve a 4-star rating.

Long waiting time for our meal on 15th day of the lunar calendar. The place was full house. Although there isn’t a wait for tables, the food took too long to be served. I’ve had meals here for more than a decade ago and I’d say the flavors are still there. One of a more unique vegetarian place as they don’t serve your usual menu. I truly enjoy the meals here. The bean curd rojak is definitely their iconic dish. The sauce is just the main highlight of the dish. I enjoyed the clear soup noodles as it is easy to eat and have unique flavors. As for the rice, lots of gravy but that took the longest to be served. Came piping hot and the portion is okay. If it’s not for the long waiting time, this would have been a more enjoyable meal. Parking is quite easy to find but you might have to walk a bit to the restaurant.

Everything is great. Even my non-vegetarian friends love this restaurant so much. The local, western, fusion food worth the try for food lovers. Some food option (special one) is only available on weekend. Parking is easy too.

Good environment, yummy vegetarian food and cakes without eggs can be found. Love the tofu dishes with good portion. Warm water cooked with pandan leaves which make you feel relax. The only thing is this restaurant only accept cash most of the time. Parking is hard to find in this area.

I'm not a vegetarian person but this place is so delicious. Food portion are big. Usually can get quite busy so expect to queue or wait. The atmosphere is classy and elegant. They don't know have TV on showing some monks talking or chanting playing which I really appreciate. Drinks are fantastic. They have great coffee and I recommend the lemongrass drink. Very refreshing.

Labak mee is scrumptious, not too spicy, the taufu complimenting it are very soft. Would definitely come back for this dish. Bought their pau at 15.90 each pack. The peanut cashew Pau is nice, with around two whole cashew nuts in the stuffing.

First time here and recommended to try Lakbak noodle. Tasted natural and handmade, a bit spicy and you can smell the lemongrass aroma while eating. Huge space to have proper social distancing and nice ambience for dining in. The staff also took initiative to sanitise chair and table during customer service. Things to improve: 1) Layout and display: The sauce bottles and desert packs were placed too near the counter where customers queue to pay. There was no price label, as required by KPDNHEP Regulations. This reduces social distancing and informative decision making as this increases pressure during bill payment. 2) Menu: Vegetarian meals in their menu are hard to understand base on photo and title. Would enhance with detailed explanation for each food as I don’t eat soy bean food. 3) Price: many choices in menu, but single price food + 6% SST. Would be reasonably priced if one food includes appetiser. Or several different flavour for one desert packs.

One of my favorite spot for vegetarian food. Reasonable price, one bowl of noodle from RM9 and above (previously with GST at RM10++) in fact it was consider cheap with air conditioned environment. might be crowded during peak hour but not too worry as food being serve fast. We ordered a green curry it wasn't spicy, suitable for kids too. Love their Pao - must have!

Went during Thaipusam day around 11am+ Full house. We ordered noodles (wait about 30mins) + rice (wait about 45mins) the noodles is clear broth and nice meanwhile the rice ones, its kinda dry overall with black sauce. I'd said noodles is quite nice and wanted to place another takeaway order, but waited 20mins - seem like not getting anytime soon so we asked to cancel and they said ok 😮‍💨
