Just had to check it out because of all the hype. Some of the crab i had did not taste fresh but the other seafood were decent. Definitely has the food variety nailed down but taste was so so. Quantity over quality. Big plus is the ice cream. Will i return? Probably not.

Visited on 3rd July 2022 and were greeted by their not-so-friendly staff. I paid over RM190 for a buffet dinner I would expect the staff to be nicer to customers but no. They all look like they would leave this place in a heartbeat. About the food, other than plenty of choices, the cooking style is quite mediocre. Oysters taste great in my opinion and are quite clean. Other than that, the seafood taste is quite flat. Like lacking the fresh seafood taste. Free flow of wine, cocktails, teas and other beverages. The desserts are delicious. One last thing, this place can’t really receive mobile signal so you might not be able to access to internet when you’re eating.

The sashimis r great; fresh n very fast cut n stocked up. Those order-to-cook also pretty fast. Generally the seafood served r very fresh n has certain quality. Dessert range is acceptable. Need to improve those abv 21 drinks. The wine n cocktail r really2 tasted cheap n bad.

Enjoyed our time there. Sashimi is good. Fresh oyster is the among the best that i had before. Other dishes is nice, but no surprise. Cocktails and sake is free flow.

For me it was the best buffet ever, the biggest and there were too many options you could choose from, Japanese, Chinese, western and etc. Plenty of desserts and unlimited Haagen dars ice cream you can grab. Price is average but worth it compare to the other international buffet, it’s non halal so have much more options. Should come at least once, just give it a try.

Popular Japanese seafood buffet. Located below The Starhill. Nice expansive space with plenty of seating. Not too bright, well spaced & organized. Always a crowd so reservations advisable for groups. Rather pricey. Parking plenty within the mall. Food wise a huge selection of sashimi & oysters, freshly grilled items, boiled/steamed seafood, sushi, pasta & fried rice made to order, soups, fried/grilled items, dim sum & even steamboat. Then not forgetting plenty of desserts to end your meal. Unlike most buffets they even have a huge selection of drinks which is a plus. Some items are just repetitions when it comes to flavor, different protein same sauce. Which can be boring. Notable items would be their grilled garlic scallops, fresh oysters, all the sashimi, spicy grilled baby octopus, escargot, grilled sliced beef & herbal soup. Dessert wise their matcha lava cake, ice cream & durian cream puffs are a must. Worth a try but doubt I'll return. Price wise don't see it as worthwhile.

Has been a fan of Jogoya since my college day. They moved to LG of StarHill Mall. The setup is almost the same like last time. But they have changed the system a little bit. There are no more Member VIP dishes, all customers has the same menu. Variety of food is still a lot but slightly reduced by about 30% 🤔? Japanese corner 🍣 has been better. Others food corners food variety reduced a little as I said, but with the same price it is still much better than a lot of other hotels buffet spread. The new menu will be the big headed prawn 🦐, as big as a child’s arm. We took 4pcs. 2 was fresh (juicy). The other 2 is not so. Overall still a good place to be if you are big eater and like to eat variety of food in a same place.

Huge restaurant and plenty of food you can get here. We came around 6pm (thursday) with reservation that we did through whatsapp. Still need to wait around 15 mins to go in because of the queue. Parking is easy @ Starhill. You can get a lot of options covering Japanese, Chinese, and Western food here. Tempura and generally all fried item is cold and mehhh. We did enjoyed the seafood though. You just need to drop your pin into the bowl and they will send you the food to the table. And lamb grill was great too. Please please please get the unlimited coconut water. It was so good! For ice cream, they’re having both Baskin Robbins and haagen dasz plus another local brand with local flavor. Black sesame is wowza! Would definitely come again - once in a while.

Rm200 totally not worth it. The seafood including fresh oyster, codfish clayfish prawn and crab. All isn’t fresh. Not sure is the sashimi or the seafood. Got food poison after. Even baskin robbin ice cream also use flour to make. No milk taste at all. Worst dine in experience ever.

There are just too much food one can possibly eat. Large selections from seafoods, meat, poultry, good ice-cream, cakes and fruits and others. The place is huge. Good place to treat somebody. Go there at least once in your lifetime.

Expensive but worth it, good for celebration or ketuk your boss to belanja whole team here. Environment is clean but the concept is low lighting. Seafood heaven, there are non-seafood/vege too. Too many variations that I cannot keep up because I was about to explode. Baskin Robbin & Haagen Dazs ice cream. Cons, they do not accept AMEX.

My first time to jogoya. Didn't have any expectations. Surprisingly, it was good. A wide variety of sashimi, sushi and seafood. My gfs had their steamed lobsters. Initially they thought not fresh..But suspected the lobsters were not defrost in time before steaming. There are some teppanyaki, Chinese style dishes, double boiled soup, dim sum and mini steamboat. Even their desserts cover swissrolls, cakes, puddings ie. Panna Cotta, chinese pastries ie.egg tarts. Have many types of matcha desserts. They have healthy gelatos and Haagen daaz for other flavours, Baskin Robbins for vanilla ice cream.coconut drink and fruits are very sweet too.overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

Overall, the food quality is not up to par. Those hot meals don't taste well and most of the foods are not hot or warm. It does not worth RM200++ per pax. Very dissappointed.

It’s so much worth the price! My boss treated me and my colleagues so that’s why it’s even more delicious maybe lol I believe the price is pretty reasonable enough compared to what you can have in buffet. Everything is fresh and decent. The only thing I wish that could have been improved is the menu selection as in udon or soup kinda dish for the wrap up. Also, it would be great if they serve white wine since there are lots of seafood dishes(it’s sake in the picture). But all good in general other than that and would love to come back for next time!

The buffet offered a good selection of dishes, providing a variety of choices for different tastes. From appetizers to main courses and desserts, there was something for everyone. However, the sashimi/raw seafood was not up to par. As a lover of fresh and high-quality, I had higher expectations. If you're looking for a wide range of options, this buffet might be worth considering.

Offers a variety of food, including Chinese food, Japanese food, dim sum, hotpot, fried food, dessert, ice cream etc. Sad to say that they started to clear things out at around 2.30 plus instead of 3.30pm as mentioned by the receptionist. Food is quite mediocre and I guess the price is high for its wide food selection. The cake should be cut into smaller pieces to reduce wastage.

To be completely honest it is not the best buffet I have had. Dinner service was 198MR. It was the festive dinner price. The seafood was very fishy and some of the food was not seasoned at all. All the food looks good but lacks taste. If you want hype on instagram this is the place but if you want enjoy good food you are better off going to a different restaurant for a fraction the price. Will probably not be coming back again. The only good items are the non alcoholic drinks, fruits, skewers, and the salmon sashimi.

This restaurant offers a fantastic variety of delicious and unique food options, with a clean and spacious environment and good service. However, the prices are a bit high for my budget. The seafood, particularly sushi and sashimi, is excellent, along with other Japanese dishes and a selection of Western and oriental cuisine.

We arrived Sunday 8:40pm for dinner , cost rm191 per person (Not advisable to dine at this hour as it will close at 10:30pm and by 9:30pm a lot of food counter like dessert , food selection will close ) so we just grab what we like at the buffet spread . Highlight of course the fresh oysters 🦪 and salmon sashimi , fresh prawn 🦐, XO soup for steamboat was delicious , scallop was huge . Dessert selection was great with baskin Robbin , Hagen daz ice cream , good quality cakes . We like it here .

I wish the scampi prawns, crabs, oysters are a little fresher. That will absolutely improve overall dining experience. Everything else is great. Loved the mussels. Top quality desserts. Fresh sashimis.

Simply the best. You are able to get your bucks worth here if you have a deep craving for sea life. A quick walk around n u will be able to see at least 3 different types of prawns cooked differently! A variety of dishes set infront of you for your convenience. Just drop a clip on your table number and they will deliver it right to u. Do expect a high entree fee but if you want unlimited seafood, this is the place to go. Avoid weekend dinners, sardine packed

Foods: Huge variety. Has atleast 100 dishes from finger foods, hotpots, seafoods, grilled bar, steaming counter, desserts etc. However, some seafoods that I had was not fresh enough. Thus, food quality is quite inconsistent. I had a satisfied dinner in overall. Services: prompt enough, and friendly staffs overall. Atmosphere: Newly renovated and have better space, very good.

Visited here during Christmas 2022. Even though the buffet price is on the high side, it's still great value for money given the variety of food choices and the serving size of fresh seafood. They even serve alcoholic drinks. If you love seafood, you should definitely enjoy your feast here. It doesn't matter if you are big or small eater, just come here and have a good time. :) (Follow me on Instagram @kehhung)

The food selections are sooo huge. If you just take 1 piece for each of the dishes, you'll be full already. The seafood is fresh too The ambience is very cozy.

Went there for dinner buffet on weekday. Not too crowded. Huge variety of food but not all were equally good. The main star is undoubtedly the raw oysters, SO FRESH and big (and the staff doesn't judge you for coming back for more multiple times). They also have cooked versions if you're not into raw, though it seems like a waste to me if you pay the price without fully indulging in the raw oysters. They also had many types of sashimi, sushi, seafood (all fresh), fried things and other Japanese dishes e.g. curry, udon, porridge, hotpot etc. Half of the things are prepared upon order so you have to drop the peg for your table number there and they will prepare it. Wine (red and white) and sake also free flow. Dessert, ice cream and pastry options also plenty. Overall, price is still very expensive, but would consider going for a splurge of a night with oysters and wine.

Rm168+ per pax. 530-10pm dinner time. If you’re a seafood fans, Jogoya probably is the buffet restaurant for you. A lot variety of food choices as well as dessert. Portion are made smaller than usual per dish, so you can eat more variety. I would say beside the seafood selection, other food are quite average. Recommend for big eater.
