👍👍 This place deserves a Perfect 5! Though the owner doesn't speak much English, his food spoke to us is ways that words could not. Even if you're not a big fan of Korean food, you could taste the flavours that go into the Kimchi. I enjoyed the kimchi soup - it has flavours of hot, sweet, salty, sour,... Not sure what to order ? Try the pork belly and beef ribeye ! They are juicy and oozing with fat..Unlike most areas in Hartamas, you are able to find a car park lot in this area . The shop is simple, located on the ground floor next to 99 Mart . Simple tables and chairs, non-air-conditioned . There are the open seating and seating with partitioned walls.

I’ve tried Mr.Lim in Kota Kemuning but that visit was a hit and miss. Decided to give this a go and we weren’t disappointed! The food was amazing, though it’s not cheap, the big set for 3-4 pax (there were only 3 ladies and we think that it’s better for 4 pax cause the food is plentiful !) cost around RM210 in total. Love the fact that the barbecue is done behind and meat is served hot and fresh immediately so we all just enjoy the eating part. Bibimbap and japchae are above average, what I do love was their kimchi and all the banchans, and of course, the meat ! We refilled kimchi four times because it taste so good! We didn’t need to refill any other banchans cause we were tooo stuffed from the amount of food. Wouldn’t mind to go back again.

the one reason i frequent this place is for their kimchi. sourness and saltiness is always spot on and very well balanced. not to mention it comes in generous portion too (and unlimited refill)! pork bone soup is also very flavorful! complimentary egg soufflé and also watermelon slices at the end of your meal. crowd can start to fill in as early as 5.30pm on weekends.

One of the better Korean restaurants in the area with authentic home-made taste. We have been frequenting Mr Lim for years and the proprietor is always so friendly. You see many Koreans dining here too. The steamed egg dish is part of the banchan and this is not offered everywhere, kimchi soup is excellent and we have always ordered the bbq, meat quality is good especially the beef ribeye when we want to spoil ourselves.

Nice ribeye but pork neck and pork belly were all grilled to a little over-tough. Service by the staff were attentive and they see to every little need despite the lateness.

Initially headed to the sakunja due to the recent news this place was heavily promoted. Reached 7pm, the place was full house & the boss said out of ingredients(lol). So, we went to mr.lim. Overall, not bad- service was fast & portion are quiet big for 2pax.

Bbq pork belly is awesome. Black bean banchan is excellent. Fried squid with red sauce not as good. Taste of japchae not as expected, bit too soggy.

Food used to be good but this type overall upset especially the Kim chi (rotten smell or reused? Not sure) Worst is dining next to all smelly slippers & shoes. So unhygienic. A restaurant shouldn't allow this although is a Korean restaurant. Maybe you don't mind but we are Malaysians. We do mind dining besides so many smelly shoes. It destroy our appetite. We have to rush our lunch due to the smelly shoes coz the staff do not allow us to sit another section coz don't want to on the Aircond. We are regulars but after this incident, we won't be patronised Mr Lim Hartamas anymore. Good Luck

Nice sincere korean food in town. I believed this shop is run by korean, they offered some dishes that is rare in Malaysia but common in Korea, it looks authentic too. All food tasted great. I had seafood stew, warm and not too spicy. Portion is enough and fresh ingredient. I must highlight their side dishes served, its the most sincere one I ever had in Malaysia. Can you imagine like 6 side dishes plus a regular size steam egg as a side dish too? It's super sincere serving from the shop. Its a lot of vege on the side dish menu which is another point I like too. Despite the food tasted good, it's valuable too. Highly recommended. Food: 8/10, Price: RM27 for seafood stew

Used to be my favourite place. Food is good. However now they force you to have 1 main dish per person. It is too much of a portion. Therefore I may think twice to go there again. How're the side dish is still one of the best.

Traditional style korean restaurant. Delicious food and generous portions. Side dishes are one of the nicer ones. Bbq is done by service staff and served. Boss is friendly. Recommended.

It’s the place to be for honest to goodness Korean food in Hartamas. The banchan is the best in terms of variety and quality. Mains ie BBQ, stews etc are all top shelf. But most of all is their hospitality, both staff and owner go out of their way to let you know how much your patronage means to them.

We ordered ginseng chicken soup and kimchi soup with rice. Both are very good. They also serves generous portion of side dishes and fruits after meal. Their kimchi is crispy, not too sour nor too spicy, just nice.

Down to earth place to enjoy some bbq Overall meat quality is 6/10 for me, pork belly and other meats that were not marinated are really nth to hype about because they taste the same. The marinated ones are recommended, but they were towards sweet side more. And so are the other dishes such as the japchae. I also recommend to try the beef bone soup, it comes with noodle and the soup is unseasoned but that’s the best part. You can add in salt and pepper yourself to compliment the original flavour of the soup. The service was quite slow because most of the staffs have no idea what’s going on with our table and we had to emphasise several times.

Service was amazing, food service time is good too. Ordered the set for 3-4ppl. Food: Grilled meats were decent but the bimbimbap, japchae, and steamed egg were a tad below par, japchae was overcooked, bimbimbap was under seasoned with a fully cooked egg and less hot pot so there weren't any burnt bits to eat on the bottom, and the steamed egg was overcooked so it became dry and rough 😢 kimchi and the other side dishes were great tho, except the pickled cucumbers that were too soft. Environment: seems quite run down, slightly hot, but service and side dishes make up for it 👍🏻 got free watermelon slices at the end of the meal!
