1. Reservation The reservation time was 12PM, but most of the things were not ready; we had to wait until 12.20PM to be seated. Many people already queuing up and Food Panda rider waiting there told he was already waited 1 hour for his order 2. Food The grill was placed, and the charcoal were never replaced. After some time, there was no purpose of the grill. At some point, the prawn was not even cooked properly, and we couldn't put in grill and no more charcoal Chicken and prawn were OK. Fish salty. Mutton kebab was only given once. 4 of us and was only give 1 skewer of each time and had to ask many times. After some point, I can't see any more skewers served. The crab was not fresh at all.The crab meat was as dark as the night sky and doesn't taste ok. Only 2 chicken wings are given per order. The main course only briyani should have provided capati or naan. Drinks such as tea or coffee should be included. The cakes were ok; gulab jamun, jalebi, and kulfi were good. 3. Staff One staff handling multiple counters. When he is at one counter, other counters are practically useless. After requesting a refill of bbq meat a few times, they start avoiding your table and ignoring your requests. One staff even asked if we were done with bbq and wanted to remove the grill. This was within just one hour of our 2 hour time slot. Almost as though they are trying to reserve the food for the customers of the next time slot. Conclusion One time can go. Unlimited bbq is false marketing.

I totally loved this place. Awesome ambience and staff is very nice. I missed this awesome restaurant from India and glad that I could find one in Malaysia. The concept is same as that in India. Lovely BBQ grill with amazing Mutton kebab, Fish tikka, Pineapple, Mushroom, Schezwan prawns. Didn't like the taste of chicken tikka and chicken tandoori as they were bland and very dry. Cajun potato and corn were nice. Buffet was also good and quite limited as compared to India. Loved butter chicken, naans and mutton biryani. Have option of pasta and salads as well. Desserts were awesome. We were spoilt for choice for amazing kulfis: Best flavors were Pan and Malai kulfi with various toppings available. Try gulkand & sabja toppings. Also had mango, rose, pistachio kulfis. They were so delicious that we didn't try ice cream flavors and other tarts. Gulab jamuns, jalebis and moong Dal halwa were also very good. Dahi Puri was tasty but Pani puri was bland. Go there with empty stomachs (don't have breakfast also in the morning ;)) so that you can enjoy the dishes & do justice to the menu. The drinks are Ala carte..loved the Blue Curacao and mint flavor mocktails. A big thumps up to this restaurant. Will definitely visit again.

Love this place! It’s less crowded when we first arrived (Friday, 630pm-ish). It’s a good time to get all the barbecued food. Shrimps (plump and juicy) is a must. We keep refilling that. Other options for barbecue: fish, chicken, paneer, pineapple, mushroom and some other stuff. All are generally good and need to be ordered and they will send to your table where they’re putting the hot coal. Other food for the buffet: biryani, crabs, chicken butter, chicken black pepper. Ice cream, cakes and numbers of delicious Indian desserts, soups and vege food. Even pasta! Service was good. It’s not that hard to get a refill and staff are very friendly and attentive. Kudos to them! Will definitely come again as I feel the place is really worth the price. Plain water is free flow too, fyi.

21 August, 2023: Still learning about Indian food but if my acquaintance from Jaipur, India, says th8s place tastes authentic, who am I to second-guess 😂? As a taste experience it was superb. Spices were balanced and not overpowering. Service was very good.

We really enjoyed a little delight of Indian food after a long holiday. However the vegetarian food could have been better. The service was really poor and took our surprise it wasn't even fully booked. Only a few tables were occupied yet the service was super slow. The grills which is BBQ nation slides famous for were left cold on our table. That's a real shame

AWESOME PLACE TO EAT!!! Seriously, this is the first time in the longest time that I can think of, that I’m so SATISFIED with a dining place. All of their dishes are SUPERB! Everything is made to perfection and tastes out of this world. The photos that I shared are just some of the dish that I think you can’t find easily at other places. The staffs are VERY FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS! They treated us very well and even recommended to try the foods and give small samples, waited for our response and then proceeded to give us more of we wanted. I have to thank this amazing waiter (I didn’t get his name, but he is the only Malay speaking person there I believe) who took extra care of our family. The outlet manager/supervisor (ones in blue shirt and white shirt) was also amazing! They accommodate our requests very well! We have already planned to have other family gatherings there due to this VERY IMPRESSIVE experience. Last but not least, THE PRICE IS DARN CHEAP!! I don’t think you can find any other similar place with the price they are offering in Pavilion Elite. I never do this, but please, do try this place out as they are justified for the price and the wonderful experience.

Our trip from Singapore to KL was solely for the purpose of experiencing BBQ Nation, and it definitely lived up to our expectations. This restaurant stands out as the best, offering amazing food with an ambiance and taste that resemble the original flavors from India. We particularly enjoyed the starters, and my personal favorite was the crispy corn. The staff provided excellent service and demonstrated great politeness.

It was worth the money and time, excellent service by the crew, just didnt like it when the waiter kept on asking if we’re e done. Other than that the food was divine and the variety was amazing. Can try variety of Indian food which is not available in normal restaurants. My favourite was the juicy shrimp and crispy corn. Will definitely go again and recommend to others.

AYCE? Should be AYCF (all u can fish) We paid 79 MYR each plus 16% surcharge for the worst ayce and most mediocre meal in Kuala Lumpur. When we sat down, we were only given 2 measly bottles of water. Any extra drinks will cost you extra. For their skewers, they only offered chicken, mutton, fish, veges, paneer and prawn. The mutton given to us was a bad quality mutton sausage and the meats were all fairly salty, which made you want to consume all the 2 water bottles they give you. Skewers were brought to us on platters precooked and planned out with lots of cheaper cuts of meat ie fish and chicken. We asked for mutton but were met with more fish. It should be called all you can fish considering how much fish was offered to us when we kept declining. Their other dishes were mediocre, definitely not worth the premium price. The dessert was so pitiful. The thinnest slices of cake, 3-4 pieces of fruit in a cup, and a crepe that was more sauce than crepe. We ordered naan but they forgot and we had to remind them and got it 30 mins after our initial order ☠️☠️. Also they charged us for extra items that we didn't even buy when we got the bill ☠️☠️☠️. I'm not a Karen I promise, just don't go here if you want ayce.

My 1st visit to BBQ Nation, Pavillion. We were greeted warmly by the staff and waiters there. Variety of bbq item, veg and non veg. My personal fav was the fish bbq. They had 3 type of marinate sauce for you to add while grilling. As for the dishes, the briyanis were ok; wouldn’t say the best briyani i have tasted. Pani puri was good, they had the sweet and savoury types. Crabs was flavourful and sweet, on the spicy side. I did enjoy the mango salad at the salad bar. Pav bhaji was good the bun was super soft and fluffy. Dessert wise we had kulfi and gulab jamun. I would say this was one one the best gulab jamun i have tasted. The waiter attended to us was super friendly and attentive. Price wise - it’s totally worth it if you are a big eater. Varieties of food.

I'm not sure why they named their restaurant as a "barbeque" since their concepts are totally Indian cuisine. Hence, their grilled chicken or whatever they called, are freaking dried. You can see it in these photos. For Muslims, this place serve alcohol, you better not to dine here if you have any doubtful. I didn't knew until I saw their drinks menu. I'm so sorry but it's a NO from me.

We celebrated our anniversary here , had an awesome experience, every thing was fresh and hot , our kids loved the food and the dessert section was superb . We enjoyed the bbq and Kulfi falooda the most . Loved the hospitality and the staff greeted us with complimentary cake . Definitely coming here again for yummy food in sha Allah

Amazing place with all you can eat and refill starters option, nice unlimited buffet included after your unlimited starters, good dessert menu which is also unlimited which is all for about 60rm per person. Drinks are not included and have to be paid separately. Good choice for both veg and non vegetarians. Friendly and very co-operative staff. Food is tasty and very less wait for food service. Located inside the popular pavilion mall on the 9th floor.

Amazing place with amazing food and menu.. ambience and service..same as in India. The taste is also very Indian. We enjoyed our food and service. The menu with vegetarian options, barbeque starters, main course, live counters, chat corner, deserts. I visited barbeque nation second time with our colleague, the Barbeque and tandoori was good and had varieties of Chicken, mutton, Fish, prawns, squid, crabs etc and also vegetarian like corn, pineapple which was tasted good. Also the had live counter for satay, kebabs etc. Other main course like mutton Briyani, check. Briyani , naan , non veg and veg curries etc were available, Biriyani’s had average taste. There highlight was panini poori and my favourite dahi puri.. Price are ok, but on weekends it is higher Service was good and the explanation on food given by them also good

Was here for team lunch, enjoyed the concept of buffet yet we were served with grilled food. Service was really great. They were attentively looking if we need anything and was very quick to serve. There were plenty of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. The taste is decent, sampled almost everything but my favourite had to be the corn and the lamb. Do note when you ask for anything spicy, what it means is more spices in the marinate. Being Malaysian and used to the heat of chili, this was different to my usual taste of "spicy". Be sure to visit on an empty stomach so you can enjoy all the food.

The food was amazing and the concept of Bbq on our table before going to take the other foods was a great idea. The staff were really friendly, helpful and polite. The price is affordable too! Highly recommend and will surely visit again! I would recommend to make a reservation in advance just in case there are many people on that day. I think it is a good idea to take a little of everything so that you are able to try all the variety of food that are available. The only dissatisfaction I had was with the pani puri. I have tried better ones. It could be improved. Other than that, everything was amazing. Special shoutout to the staff named Aidil and the staff at the kulfi station on the night of 18/07/2023. Tried to try as many dishes as we could but there was no way to try every single thing there. The skewers and mutton shish kebab were definitely the highlight of the place. Personally loveee the dahi puri, crispy corn (extra ❤️), and the various types of curries. However, some of the dishes were mediocre but can't be that picky as it is a buffet after all. I would avoid the western style desserts (except for the choco hazelnut mousse, oreo cake and mango caramel pastry) as they were below average. Out of the Indian dessert selections halwa and rose kulfi stood out the most. They were all not overly sweet so that is a definite plus point. Just based on the fact that you can try so many types of curries this place deserves 5 stars.

The food is very decent. Concentrate on the bbq skewers instead of the buffet spread. The servers will bring the cooked skewers to the grill in your table as well as various side dishes periodically. Good value for money if you have a hearty appetite. The differentiator for me to return is the service. The service I received by the various wait staff was very good.

Interesting place. The dai puri was yummy. The bbq things were ok (choice of fish, prawn, chicken, mushroom, pineapple) however the coals weren't that hot. They'll serve you the bbq and after that you'll be able to eat the soup/salad/desserts at the buffet area. The potato and corn that were served was good too. Overall, it's an interesting place. It's Indian food btw. The staff are friendly too

It is located at level 9 of elite entrance of pavilion. The location is great! They have all sorts of dishes ranging from desserts to entrees to live grill counter to kebabs on the table to biryani, soups, kulfi, jalebi, drinks and so on! We came here in a group of 10 people including kids. It was a great experience and would highly recommend this place to everyone. We sat on the outside open area due to smoking preference. We noticed that some of the waiters were stationed outside just to take care of us as we are the only one outside. The grill were set up and we had a steady flow of barbeque skewers until we had to ask them to stop as the service was great! We then started trying out the non bbq dishes and all the staff inside were great too. Live station counter staffs were super accommodative and fast. Some of them even brought the food to our table after cooking. The food was very good too. Dishes such as the prawn bbq, mutton briyani, paneer butter masala and the pasta kulfi was amazing. The rest of the food served there were good too. Would not recommend the desserts there as none of them was good except the kulfi. Kulfi, I repeat, was amazing. At the end of the day I tried tipping the waiter but he refused to take it even after forcing them to take it. The manager mentioned that the service charges will be distributed amongst the staff based on their performance. Will surely be going here again!

Had a good time here with the fam. The food is decent. Everything was fresh and pretty good. Half grilled skewers are sent to your table for you to finish grilling. Nice concept. The only negatives I would say is the service. Asking for bottled water and ice 5x yields one delivery of water. Asking for plain smashed potatoes multiple times (without them drowned in thousand island dressing) finally yielded a "we're all out of potatoes". So not sure what's happening with communication there. Aside from those two annoyances, the servers are pretty attentive, even if your requests sometimes seem to go nowhere. 😅

What a great place to eat your fill and very great value. For RM59++ per person, you will be eating until you burst. You will have the waiters serve you (have the crispy corn, amazingly good), a selection of barbeque (which you can request to your heart fill and then if humanely possible, help yourself to the buffet (including live station of pasta and dessert). They have proactive, friendly and fast waiters, who would make recommendations what is good and what is excellent. Not to be missed (my preference anyways) are the crispy corn, barbeque prawns, mushrooms and pineapple, the mutton bryani is amazingly good, the panni puri and do not miss the kulfi, I personally loved the mango and malai kulfi. Great place to have a great value meal with friends and family. Highly recommended.

Definitely value for money with unlimited refills of skewers while dining there. Food quality was average. What annoyed us was the service, where they did not inform us that the food session was starting at 6.30pm when we called in to make a reservation at 6pm. Coming back at 6.30pm we started with the bbq skewers and food in the bain marie was not even fully brought out untill after 7pm.

The food was nice. The waiters/waitresses were police and very helpful. The paneer was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to go again.

We were super hungry and was scrolling up and down to find good restaurant that can fulfill our hunger, so it ends up booking barbeque nation and definitely we didn’t regret a cent or a second we spent here the food was super good, lot of variety but the best part ever was being served by one if the best stuff ever Nafiz! God bless him, he’s the employee that every employer wish to have and if I’m gonna come back again it will be 50% because of him and 50% because of his great service that make u full and happy in the same time Thanks for the whole team and special thanks for Nafiz ☺️

This is a MUST try, it willworth every penny you spend here. 11 of us had lunch here and everyone of us left with great satisfaction. The barbecue appetizers alone have so many variety, they're so fresh and flavorful, simply delicious! We could not find any fault with the buffet and even the desserts are making us happy. The service was good andfast serving. The environment is just nice and relaxing. I will definitely come again for the good food!

The worse bbq buffet I ever had. No pork or beef. Bbq chicken only comes in 2 flavors, 1 type shrimp with 1 flavor, 1 type fish with 1 flavor, 1 flavor lamb sausage, grilled pineapple, 1 type cheese cube on stick. The only reason I gave 2 stars is the lamb biryani, not too bad.

Food is average. Service is good, perhaps the number of customer is countable. Prawns are fresh, meat is a little bit too dry. The selection at the buffet counter is good, but the food is cold. They only switch on the warmer when customers walked in, and once we are done they will switch it off again. The ice creams are nice, comparable to the one I have at India. But the food selection and service isn’t as good as the ones I had in India. Overall I wouldn’t be back again.
