Really disappointing buffet dinner at Mill Cafe. Selection is so small just a short line, that would make you go..is that it? Seafood pathetic, no proper western no Japanese. No cold drinks available, only water and tea/coffee (like how much does cordial or canned drinks even cost?). Per person is rm160 crazy expensive. Ridiculous pricing. Totally not worth it. Hands down WORST buffet we have ever had. Presentation is poor, the food displayed doesn't look hygienic, nothing tasted good, looked cheap and sorry to say low class, not compatible to the 5 star nature of the hotel. The only plus side is that the restaurant is almost empty (no guesses why) so relatively covid safe and service is ok. Please stop exploiting diners with substandard buffet quality. Horrible experience, regretted so much choosing this place to have a special dinner. So I hope others will read this and be warned.

Came for their Buka Puasa buffet and it was the best buffet I had in my life! Usually buffets are meh but this one was different. The meat especially was amazing! So tender and flavorful. It was really cool to try the super traditional way of Malaysian cooking.

Modest spread of buffet line for the "5 countries food" theme comprises of Malaysian, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai and India. It was not much but it's worth it if you go on local app with 50% discounted rate. Service from ground staff were good as well. They tried their best to accommodate your requests.

Nice n cozy place for buffet lunch cause no ppl 😂, but their facilities are outdated. Friendy staff n always ready for assist/help. Not much choice of food, Selection is small just a short line. For me that food all not tasty. The chicken goreng so dry, mushroom soup tastes sour, hainam chicken rice no fragrance at all, cold soba mee texture harshy, soba noodles soup taste very salty, It's like drinking soy sauce. But their dessert was impress me. For weekday lunch buffet that charge Rm113.68 (Rm98+16%)/pax, for me was really not worth it.

Had Friday lunch buffet here with colleagues. We had a good time here, the cafe wasn't full at all, the selections were variety enough, the food was tasty, with room of improvement. Parking free for 3 hours (need to be validated)

Forget the number of buffet items spread! Just enough food items that would suit anyone's preference! With eatigo voucher of 50 %off the normal price, we were a happy family customer, so it worth the penny spending in this beautifully and cozy restaurant! that said, With the 50% off, its roughly priced at rm 200 more or less for 3 of us, 2 adults and one child who is 5 years old, still paying half the adult price. We tried the both themes of weekdays(Fishmen night) and the weekend(Malay street night), and we noticed they hardly changed in terms of food category. Basically at the Malay night time buffet, the rendang daging, sate, more Malay kueh items dominate, whereas the fishermen weekday less Malay stuff, but more of fishes? That's we thought so. But it turned out seafood items are more or less the same, minus, sate and rendang daging, but the friendly chef cook us the sate and rendang daging individually, which was very kind and we were just lucky I guess. They are so so good! Shouldn't be missed if you are in Malay weekend night. One saddest thing is that I love stingray, but two times I tried weekend and weekdays, it turned out the ikan pari bakar(grilled sting ray) was super salty and so so rubbery, and dry! Dunno what went wrong in their cooking or perhaps fish itself,...difficult to imagine why they cook so unappetizingly not good. If somewhat properly marinated and wrapped in banana leaves, it would not have tasted so bad! My ultimate favorite in the buffet is easily mango salad, sate and the peanut sauce is so rich and full of pieces! Of course some seafood items are just good. What is true is that there is no sashimi items, no salmon, no oysters etc! Don't expect any sashimi even during fishermen night throughout the weekdays. That's only one thing my husband is sad about as being a huge sashimi fan. But for me, I don't really care of whether or not any sashimi items are available,...for me, more importantly, as long as some deliciously cook steamed fish and prawns and crabs are available, I'm just satisfied. To be honest, lots of cook items are yummy there! One more things for seafood lovers, the sushi items are admittedly disappointing here, coz it's very hard and dry, which has been chilled so so long. I don't see they are freshly made just in time. Freshly cut fruits are quite good, some selection of the cakes are just fine. Also there are sago sweets like red bean soup or yuca and banana mixed sweet soup! Icecream and some topping items, coffee machines for all sort of coffee items, and various tea bags for tea drinkers! Again, it's ok for a buffet lovers to try as long as eatigo voucher save you from making a massive hole in the pocket! Undeniably, it's a very cozy dining place indeed. Plus, the staff is wonderful and so attentive! Full of smiles! See you again! 🇲🇾😋

It's a 5 star hotel, but i had better breakfasts in 3 star establishments. The choice of protein is very limited. Eggs, chicken curry and something that is supposed to be chicken sausage. Patatos were undercooked every time. I really don't want to eat semi raw patatos. Salt and paper shakers are blocked and no salt is coming out. Even after informing the waiting staff, we had to bring our own toothpick to unblock the shakers. The coffee is good. I guess because of the very good automatic coffee machines. The room was clean and the bed was excellent. Pillows are too soft for me. But I fold them in half. In general I enjoyed staying in Grand Millennium, but breakfast needs improvement

Great service by the staff worth an extra star but buffet spreads are below average at best. Although they serve international cuisine, it’s not really up to par and tasted very local food court like. At the price of rm170/head it’s not worth the money.

A restaurant in the Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur Hotel. We ate in a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The staff are kind. I got a 50% discount using Eatigo, so I ate it well at a reasonable price. Some foods (sushi, grilled shrimp) need improvement.I give extra points for dessert.

This is going to be a slightly long one so bear with me. First of all, the selection of items on the spread is mediocre at best. There are not many choices of main dishes to choose from. Maybe due to the limited menu selection most of the dishes are well prepared. However, me and my frienda were there mainly for their seafood offerings. Their slipper lobsters are fresh and well prepared. The meat is tasty and bouncy. Their cold serving of oyster and crab are also delightful. Overall the seafood selection did not disappoint. The dessert spread is consider ok for me as I am not a big dessert person. There are selection of cakes and local delicacies. They also offer ice cream but I forgot to ask what brand it is. The coffee machine has variety of drinks for your selection. The latte I had was good. Service was also quite good. Plates were cleaned fairly quickly after you are done so you can have space for more. The staffs are attentive and helpful. So you might think why 3 stars. This rating us purely based on my experience dining on the day. Half way through our dining session a group of unruly guest arrived at the restaurant. Their behaviors and the lack of social manners really cause discomfort to me and my friends. Every other guests were look at them yet they felt no shame. In fairness, the manager has tried his best to asked them to be polite but to no avail. Thus our overall experience were dampen and we left shortly after they arrive as we lost our appetite looking at them. Would we try again, maybe but it would be in the distance future and hope and pray we do not meet such group again. P.s. 4 stars for the seafood and the service.

We had lunch on Sunday 18 December for my birthday. The usual typical Hotel buffet, nothing special or spectacular, not much food choices. Furnitures are old in the hotel, this hotel need to refurbished their interior fittings after covid. same place my friend went for dinner, dinner choice better than lunch. Service was superb. Don't get me wrong food was on the hygiene side, except for the prawn slightly undercook. A decent place for a decent meal and not expensive considering the location.

The food was not delicious, with very limited choices. We were offered only chicken and beef, and other options like prawn, squid, mutton, and lamb were not available. Considering the price, it wasn't worth it. On the cleanliness side, there was a cockroach walking on the serving dish desk. I informed the staff, but they assured me it was safe as the cockroach had just appeared. 😵‍💫 I wouldn't recommend having a buffet at this restaurant

Attended a company event here. The buffet was great, quite a variety of food. The samosa very crunchy. There is also mutton curry which my colleagues says is very good. Deserts cake are yummy. Small bite sizes just nice to try more of it.

Celebrated my friend birthday here last July 18 this is actually our second time coming here. Although the selection/variety of food not that much still its worth cause we booked it thru eatigo for 50% and all the food tastes good. Staff are very nice, friendly and very approachable.

For the location, the buffet price is considered ok. Better yet if you can get discounts via food apps. We had the lunch buffet on Saturday Food variety is average but the food quality is really on both ends of the scale. The Indian chef deserve commendations, the Indian cuisine was excellent. The western cuisine was also good, lamb was nice and done medium. You can ditch the the Japanese section and noodle station(Prawn soup was bland) Seafood on ice was only limited to 2 types - prawns and mussels. Desserts are mainly standard cakes, Malay kuih and fruits. Service was very limited. On Saturday lunch, they only had two waiter to clear plates and refill drinking water (better you do it yourself) Would I return? Yes if I can get good discounts. Otherwise head next door to Lai Ching Yuan for their dim sum buffet.

The Mill Cafe never disappoint me. Me and family always enjoyed ourselves having our morning buffet breakfast whenever we stay at the hotel. The staff even remembered our son. Foods great, staffs are friendly. Always our first choice.

The food options were very limited, offering only chicken and beef without choices like prawn, squid, mutton, or lamb, which was disappointing considering the price. Moreover, there was a cleanliness issue as I noticed a COCKROACH on the serving dish desk. Even after informing the staff, their reassurance that it was safe as the cockroach had just appeared raised concerns about hygiene practices. Based on these experiences, I would NOT recommend dining at this restaurant, especially for a buffet.

I had a bad experience during my dining in The Mill. The food selections are not much and taste just normal. Seafood is not so fresh. Some of the chefs are not wearing face mask. The plates and utensils are very dirty, a HUGE oil and soap stain is still on the plates and it was there ready for use. I call up the waiter and show this to him but he seems nothing no apologies too. I felt very bad and after that plates incident, I did not take anymore food. I really had a bad experience in The Mill.
