Love the food and ambiance. However the service left much to be desired. Staff was not attentive and it took too long for them to take order, and it was hard to get their attention to get sauce/pepper/whatever else. We were seated near the kitchen and during our meal, one of the staff said in a loud sing-song voice, talking about one staff being inefficient or something. Many of the other guests/patrons were exchanging awkward glances with each other. I thought it was a bit unprofessional especially with patrons in plain view. Would suggest that they train the staff better, put a bell at each table and have an order system via QR code to improve the service.

Went to KL last Dec and thought I would have a good dinner at Ben's. Unfortunately food in general was bland especially the creamy soft shell crab pasta. Didnt take pic for the other food. Caramel cheesecake was still good but the service was cold. I asked for the cake to serve 1st (too hungry) before the main course and it was served without cutlery. Lack of eye contact from the waitress and when we asked for fork, she was looking at us for a while, hesitated and then got us dinner spoons. Oh well, at least we can eat otherwise we will have to use hand to eat the cake. In short, service crew needs to improve.

We were provided excellent seats with a great view. The juices and desserts (particularly the cinnamon roll and brownie were delicious). The chestnut soup and chicken satay were satisfactory. Overall, it was a positive experience.

What a beautiful restaurant! You can't see it from the outside but once you're in.. such a beaut. The menu is your typical western dishes (like any other western style retaurant) with splashes of local dishes here and there, but the execution was done wonderfully. The service was excellent too. During our visit, 2 diners had their birthdays, and the servers sang for them, so happy birthday! haha

The taste of food is good, not so slow after ordering, but service needs a lot of improvement. We are from Thailand and happened to be invited by our Malay friend to have lunch here (Oct 8, 2022). Food presentation was nice on the plate, but there was definitely something wrong with the service. I noticed the supervisor/manager tried to pay attention to our needs but the waiter or waitress clearly had an attitude problem. I asked for the extra spoon to put in the salad so we can hygienically share the food, but the waiter told me to wait and explain the kitchen is busy...umm..a bit confused. Was my English not good? Well, lucky the supervisor/manager stopped by at our table and we got what we wanted in no time. The waitress who took the order seemed not so friendly, perhaps a lot of customers made them busy! Well, sorry but this is not common for a service in Thailand, especially an upscale place like this. On the road side, cheap food, it's ok. I hope my comment will give some ideas to management to improve the service since you already have a nice restaurant with good food.

Came here on the last week of December and there was already a crowd. Had to wait around 15mins for a table and by the time I went in, there was a queue formed for lunch. The portion in Ben’s is always big and hearty. The food are simple but tasty and the environment is very comfortable. The place is bright and clean. Staff were busy with the high traffic of customers but did their best to accommodate. Always a favourite lunch spot for us in KLCC and thoroughly enjoyed.

Not sure where all those negative reviews are coming from! It's a really nice place, pastries are very tasty, fresh and not over sweeten! Staff is also very friendly and efficient. Each table has also small card game which you can play with others while waiting for your order which is cool!

My go-to restaurant whenever I go to KLCC. I love their bed and pastries the most! They also have a wide-range of meals; from starters to main dishes. Quality is good. You will definitely get the value for your money when you dine in here.

Came here for late lunch (we know lunch can be super hectic here). The birthday girl specifically requested for Mac & Cheese, so after searching a few suitable restaurants for the kids, we decided this is the place. We enjoyed every bit of our orders. For the salad, we had 2 types, the holiday one, and the sides of the avo & salmon sandwich. We really like the sandwich's salad. The dressing is just on point and delicious! The holiday set came in with few choices, we took the salmon instead of the beef, and we took salad instead of the soup. We didn't quite like the drink though 😅 the Mac & Cheese is very savoury, cheesy, and milky. The kid totally loved it. Service - top notch for us, except maybe we could use 3 more butter knives 😝 other than that, everything's great, will always be back for Ben's. Oh yeah, hummingbird cake, superb! And the kids love the conversation cards 🤭

Used to love this place back when it just opened. Always ordered duck confit spaghettini. After many years absent, I dropped by today and ordered the same. It was so dry and almost choked. I ordered for a slice of lemon and chilli flakes cos it was under seasoned. Much better after a drizzle of lemon juice and sprinkles of chilli flakes. I love the touch of the rockets though. I miss the old one better. I also ordered the watermelon lychee drink - a classic drink that was a bit bland. There’s more ice taste than watermelon and lychee combined. Mm.. even a warong (side street stall) made it better. The pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant) was ok, though. The latte I ordered looked more like a cappuccino, but the taste was alright. Service was terrible by most, but there was one drinks server who’s blur, but polite and smiles. Most just look and turn away. The one who took my order was ok, but took a long time to walk over, and my second round of order, he forgot my orders. The one who served me food was polite. If I had gotten the seat by the window that I requested for, I would have come back. Now I don’t think I will. There are many other better quality cafés out there. Better food. Better coffee. Better service.

Average taste for the food. Waited quite long for my order. My other half completed his meal then only they served mine. A bit salty gravy and the broccoli was cold. Anyhow, love the ambience and coziness

I had a wonderful experience at this exceptional ambiance restaurant. The dishes we ordered were above average. The chicken rice, in particular, stood out as an excellent choice, with tender chicken and incredibly flavorful rice. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality offered by this restaurant. The prices were reasonable, making it a worthwhile dining experience. Just a little feedback, serving staff should provide more proactive attention to customers. I will definitely make it a point to visit again during my next trip to KL.

Nice food with reasonable servings. Friendly staffs and nice ambience. It will be perfect if the Aircon is strong enough cos feel a bit hot before dinner and were perspiring after eating 😄. Overall food taste is ok. Price is acceptable for dinner of 4.

Came here around 10:30am in the morning on a Saturday. Luckily manage to get a soft sofa seat for two of us. Had two kind of pasta (carbonara and tomatoes) and one mushroom soup. The food is really tasty. As we were seating near entrance we can see crowd flocking in slowly. But I’m not sure, can sense that there’s more empty seats or table inside (lots of people waiting to be table seated). I think looks like probably lack of cooks or services. If want to avoid the crowd do come early or odd hours to avoid waiting in line.

Went there around 11:45AM on a Sunday (group of 10). We were seated right away. I think around 1PM, almost all (if not all) tables are already occupied. I think because the rating is quite mediocre that my expectation of this place is low. But actually, this place is not bad at all. I ordered the Beef Lasagna (pictured) and it comes with a side salad and fries. It costs RM 28 and for a restaurant in KLCC it's reasonable. Also, everyone in the group enjoyed the food and our time there.

Been a super fan for Bens since years ago. After coming back in a long time, I’m really speechless on the food presentation and how it’s cooked. I’m sure the chefs are paid well but why cook like this? Where’s the passion and gold standard?even fast food like McDonald’s practise Gold Standard. It’s a shame and never coming back. I spent nearly to RM 250++ for a quality of 1 star. Times are hard and we fork out our money/savings for good food, remember that. All the best.

VERY VERY HUGE PORTION, so if you have a tiny stomach better share it. Delicious food and cakes. However one of the waitress was really rude. Like owe her money. Here was less crowded compare to the food court upstairs.

The table was shaking and we had to ask for assistance. Thank god for the helpful waitress. Atmosphere is so-so as there weren't too many people there on that day so thank god it was breathable. Food is good but the croissant can be improved. I find it too dry and hard.

Ben's at Suria KLCC is the best when it comes to Christmas meals. Their Holiday Joy 3-set course meals (which consists of soup/salad, main, dessert and beverage) that I partake was superb and delicious. They served roasted chestnut soup as the starter is unique and yummy from the usual offering of mushroom soup or pumpkin soup. Although it took quite a wait for my chestnut stuffed chicken roulade with jus the to be ready, it is cooked to perfection. There is also a mix of greens (broccoli, snow peas, french beans, cucumber and Brussels sprouts) topped with creamy mashed potatoes, a few roasted chestnuts and a side of cranberry sauce. So you don't have to worry if you are eating only protein and no carbs and vegetables. I chose the frosted mince pies as the dessert because it is traditional in UK to eat mince pies during Christmas. It comes with 2 bite-size pieces with a side of warm custard which I quickly devoured. The surprise for me was the strawberry cooler. It has real strawberry fruit that I was not expecting in the drink. It is not too sweet which I like. All in all, the price for the Holiday Joy menu set is quite affordable considering you get to enjoy a hearty Christmas meal rather than ordering each of the items separately. The staff is friendly and courteous and respond quickly to my call. My only complaint is the waiting time between the courses can be shorter as it took some time for the main and dessert to arrive. I look forward to what Ben's will serve for Christmas next year! (Hopefully turkey will be back on the menu.)

Nice ambience at KLCC with delicious local cuisines. A little pricey and dislike the attitude of some of the foreign workers, quite ignorant while waiting to be seated.

One of the better places to have your afternoon high tea. Had alot of people but honestly, the place can accommodate a good number. The pavlova here was exquisite, the cakes excellent. The service was abit slow given the number of service staff just it's alright. The ambience, the seats and decor really makes it a great place to hang out. Probably the one bad thing we had was the scones... not exactly nice. Not buttery, or creamy, just had alot of flour taste to it. Other than that, 4 thumbs up!

Everything about the place is amazing but restaurant is terribly under-staffed. Everyone looked overworked during the Friday I visited. The dining area is huge with many tables. Ambience was beautiful nonetheless but service was unfortunately really slow. They even gave me a chinese menu which I couldn't read... Had the mushroom pasta. It was delicious during the first few bites but subsequently the cream sauce and the sheer amount of mushrooms became a tad too much. Truffle fries was mediocre.

First time here and wow the food portion is big and generous... loving it the moment we step in the restaurant! We went for dinner on a Saturday night, it was quite crowded and frankly the service was quite poor maybe due to lack of manpower. We all enjoyed the food and ambience.

Welcomed with a pleasurable atmosphere... inviting menus and scrumptious foods... some of the menus looked simple enough but the taste was superb... and the portion was big enough for some... pasta was small portioned but definitely big on taste... salads and burgers was big on portion and scrumptious... and the staffs was very polite and attentive... thank you for the service

Food is great here and the bread spread displayed up front is very appealing. I think a safe order here is the fish and chips and if you want to go to the extreme order the pad Thai seafood linguine, their rice sets are also good. Atmosphere isn’t for those thinking of having a good conversation with friends as it is quite noisy and usually full during peak hours like lunch and dinner, hence why it’s a 4 instead of a 5. But overall ok je lah.

The food is nice and portion is quite generous. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The coconut cake is really yummy. Ate it and forgot to capture picture. Carrot cake is fantastic too, the nuts on it is generous. The smoked salmon sandwich is really nice with loads of greens. Fish and chippies is all right. The juice is however a little thin.

Not bad for a meal. My roasted beef and french onion sandwich taste quite good. The bread was kind if chewy but still soft. The sauce is good. The waffle fries is extremely addictive, salad was great as well. Only thing that is not on point was the roasted beef, they are extra chewy, making it very hard to cut. And the portion is generous, so small eater should share it. My colleague ordered their signature carrot cakes, it was really nice, try it. Food: 7/10, Price: RM38 for sandwich.

The soto did not come with begedel or potato ball, we have to wait 20 mins for the foods and the starter did not come as starter almost in the middle of our time. I think the restaurant shud do something on soto. This shud be served with soy sauce chilli or cili kicap.

06/05 - Slight disappointment with the offerings. The mee siam is clumpy and has little taste other than being extremely spicy. The goreng pisang tasted like fried potatoes as the banana wasn’t sweet. Cucur udang and Belgian fries were alright although slightly salty. Service was great so it compensated for the food.

Atmosphere was nice but the food was not great. I loved my Mushroom soup although the serving was too small. It cost me RM 18++ and I barely received HALF a bowl of soup. Also, their Balsamic Chicken Salad...was RM 20++ and they barely put any avocado in it. The salad was drenched in Balsamic Vinegar. The chicken was extremely dry and it was a complete waste of money. I liked my Magnum Iced Chocolate though. I strongly believe they can do better. It is such a beautiful place to have food at but the meal itself was less than satisfactory. I walked away paying close to RM 100..2 drinks.. 2 meals..Should have gone to Mcdonald's instead lol

It’s always crowded here but I don’t think the food here is really good . Service is poor as we asked the waiters whether they served pizza here and we don’t really understand her as she is from Philippines (we think) because of her slang and we asked her again .. and she rolled her eyes and said no pizza with a heavy tone . And we asked for water a few times but we are not being served . Looks like they are too busy to handle the busy situation. And we have ordered 2 cakes for 2 birthday boys and we did inform them this is for 2 Person .. and they came with one candle on one cake and the other non . So the other friend of ours didn’t get the chance to blow the candle . And this is very annoying

The service attitude started our rocky. I waited at the entrance to be seated but a staff came, walk directly to us and turned the other way without even acknowledging my party. A more senior staff came and settled us in a cozy corner. A tad too warm but still alright as it was night time already. The senior staff was more attentive but because we were at a corner, it was a little difficult to get the attention of the staffs. Food is what you get for that kind of price. Nothing special to cry about. The red velvet cake is soft and with the right amount of cream cheese.

Staff ok, environment ok too..just the food not so ok, the Spaghetti taste salty as it not supposed to, kind of like amateur cook made dish..Hainan chicken ok, but not taste any better than any Hainan kopitiam out there that served the same dish..not saying I disappointed, just that we still have lots of choice out there if want to try Chicken chop or Spaghetti Carbonara...(even Secret Recipe taste better, honestly). Drink is good, not over sweet, and refreshing though..

The food tasted ok; fries and steak sauce a bit salty. Steak cooked medium well as requested. Tomato creamy spaghetti tastes good. Carbonara as well. Service overall ok. -1 because the inner dining area has no air conditioning. Atmosphere OK. Quite hot due to no air conditioning and lack of air ventilation.

Ben is a standard franchise so I guess you eat here with a certain expectation. The decor is fairly standard of a franchise cafe. But it's clean and staff was attentive. Food came quite fast and I don't really have much to say. Suffice to say, they were good and franchise expected. I actually enjoyed them. The scones, bun, laksa were all definitely above average. KLCC being full of restaurants, this is definitely one of the cafe options I would go to for tummy fuel.

Despite all the good comments, I don't think I will ever come back to this branch. I like dining at Ben's but I prefer going to Ben's at The LINC KL. Their service were great, staffs were very friendly and the foods were actually more flavourful and tantalising there. I hope that they can improve on their service because we had to wait for our salad for more than 30 minutes and funnily enough, the salmon and avocado came first. So I'd hope that they can more attentive. This was our third visit and there's always something wrong with the service. Either the food was cold and the dishes (like glasses and cutleries) were slightly dirty.

I had a lovely time at Ben's klcc, was a hot day and overload of shopping it was great to kick back and have a delicious cheesecake that I would recommend to anyone around the world. I’ve been coming to Ben’s off and on for years now and honestly, it’s been declining and continues to do so. Our latest experience was sadly expected by me. We were led to our table and seated. Reviewed the menu and waited awhile for our waitress. She seemed annoyed and unfriendly but go the order taken. One burger and one new item from their menu. Burger was ordered Medium Rare and arrived well done. Didn’t send it back as we had somewhere to be after dinner. Waited and waited for my dish and never arrived till my partner’s burger was finished. It was about 45 mins overall before my dish came. Spoke to the manager about the overall service and tardiness. Ben’s used to be a fantastic restaurant. Not anymore and if nothing is done about staff training, service flow and food quality, it will cease to exist in the near future. 3 stars would be generous and I hope that the manager does what he can to raise the standards here.

Presentation 3.5 out of 5 . Taste wise 1/5 . Value for money 1/5 . Would only dine here if its company meeting. The portions were huge though but the food was dry and the it's not tasty . The gado gado sauce and the satay sauce were the same sauce. Basically the gado gado was a mix of cucur udang plated with cucumber , egg with the satay sauce. The chili sauce for the cucur udang was same as the chilli sauce they used for the chicken rice. The nasi kerabu was dry as well and the chicken tasted like it was heated up using the microwave. Service was not bad but during lunch time its hectic. The drinks were nice but seems to have shrunk in portion. Like the fact that they now use metal straws and biodegradable food packaging. The cakes were a tad dry maybe due to the chiller .

Had a meal with family on new year's day. Shocked to find all the glasses of water served had not been properly cleaned and had traces of lipstick and chillies stain. Management needs to do more to ensure the cleanliness please.

Really good spot for a brunch or lunch with friends and family on the weekend. Situated in the easiest spot to find in KLCC. Can get busy, so book of you can but since the shop is quite spacious there might be some few spots inside. Good food (and yes it has the brunch classics/ deli in front alongside many other Malay/ Asian fusion - quite extensive menu I must say) and service. The food here is great and I've been here on a few occasions for meetings over lunch. Can be a bit noisy but still enjoy my meal every time. Their dessert choices are great too. They take card payments as well. Very nice vibe.

Been in KLCC for years. Went through some renovation. Nice cosy outlet. Bit noisy if there are groups. Food is average at best. Pricey. Love their desserts especially the cakes. Friendly staff.

Great place for lunch. Food is incredible and portion sizes are generous except for the cake. Got a tiny slice of black forest (not fair, i love dessert). As a vegeteranian the pesto spagetti was probably the only thing for me on the menu. However it tasted great , just the right amount of garlic an basle. Must order it again. The black forest cake is a winner, the chocolate is slightly on the bitter side, which i loved, and it isnt swamped in cream , worth the calories . The service however was pathetic. I was there with a friend. His laksa arrived in reasonable time and i had to wait a further 20 minutes for my order. The waiter wasnt trained i had to remind him more than once and he just shruged his shoulders an said the kitchen has a lot of deliveries. Not what a customer wants to hear. Overall good food and a relaxed atmosphere, i will be back as i now live next door .

Sorry Ben's, your food is quite salty. Especially for promo menu in this month (February 2020). Your burger is OK. For me it is just a normal burger. Maybe can improve in the future. But your Pulut Hitam cake taste good, lain dari yang lain. Keep it up.

i went here when i decided to hangout with my friends months ago.The food taste devine and the prices for the foods is affordable. We wait for about 15 minutes since it has a lot of customers.Really good spot for a brunch or lunch with friends and family on the weekend. Situated in the easiest spot to find in KLCC. It can get busy, so make an early reservation. Can be a bit noisy but still enjoy my meal every time. Their dessert choices are great too.By the way, while waiting we can play the game card that has been displayed on the table.I highly recomend their traditional homemade lasagna ???.

Had dinner the other day and loving the ambiance. However, the foods taste pretty bland, the soft shell crab spaghettini aren't flavourful enough. While the the pesto pasta good at the first bite but hard for me to finish it. The desserts look amazing but we hadn't much time to try it but for sure want to come again for more.

Don’t order fish and chips here .. they put hella lot of oil when cook it .. was so dry even with sauce. But they say their soups are good idk . Didn’t like the attitude of the waiter named Kul.. like you’re in mamak or smth. They give you free water but it was stinky and tasted very bad .. and the waiter mumbled something like it’s a good water and never replaced the water .. defly won’t recommend the place .

Spaghetti aglio olio is very disappointing, it's very dried, plain & I can taste the garlic scorched (the price is quite too much for that kind of aglio olio) you could get better in any other restaurants. Curry mee laksa is 4/5 & creamy pesto spaghetti is 3/5. The wedges with sour cream is not bad but make sure the 'sour cream' is sour. The food is disappointing bcs I've high expectations especially I like aglio olio. The service from the staff is 4/5 and also the restaurant is clean & nice to take photos.

I have always loved coming over to this place for a meal. It has a great ambience (even before the makeover) and the food is always on point. The row of tables with the KLCC fountain view are my favourites.
