I would say the room itself is fine, but the services are not up to the par. The kettle was so dirty when we wanted to use it, my partner called the reception but no one picked up. He purposely took the kettle and approached the receptionist where she just answered “Okay I will look for the extra one.”, at the end we had to call them again only they sent us a cleaned kettle. Next, the breakfast delivered to our room was below average, they are cold and the portion is small. No house keeping was done even though we had switched on the light request for cleaning, disappointed and shocked to see our room remained unclean when we came back during night time, even the garbage in the kitchen is still there! No housekeeping meaning coffee/tea is not refilled, we almost ran out of shower gel too. Bad sound proofing as well where we can hear people opening their door/ running water in toilet clearly, and your staff was cleaning the next room during night time, where we can hear the loud vacuum noise. Hard to believe especially after I read the good reviews on Google, but yes this is not what we expected for a 4 star hotel. Not coming back again.

🇲🇾 Visited 24/11/2023 Friday Cooling afternoon. The following sharing are based on our unbiased personal opinion and experience We are so elated to be back at our hotel after a super fun activities. Arrived at the apartment close to 1pm. The apartment doesn't have its own carpark and it was pretty narrow down the ramp. Need to be extra cautious making your way down to avoid scratching the walls. The hotel staff was really friendly and efficient. Our check in was done in no time. The room was clean and spacious with a kitchenette with dining set, living area with a study desk and 1 huge bedroom with attached bath and bathtub. Almost perfect. If there is one thing I need to pick on is there are no views. The room was all blocked and surrounded by residential and office buildiyng. So our curtains have to be drawn for a little of our own privacy. Other than that, I have pretty nothing to pick at. 4⭐⭐⭐⭐ for you for upkeeping the place so well.

Excellent stay with very helpful and friendly staff. Location is very central - next door to Sentral station. Good pool but some local guests do not wear proper swim wear. Not the fault of the hotel but it is concerning as a matter of hygiene that people swim in their street clothes and head covering. Kids should also be properly supervised - diving into the shallow pool is not only dangerous to the other users but to themselves too. Unfortunately there is no staff in the pool area. Another negative is the fact many guests perhaps for religious reasons do not apply deodorants so there's a bad smell in confined spaces such as lifts. Perhaps these could be sprayed with deodorising fresheners?

Rooms are quite spacious and clean. Location is also good - very near to KL Sentral and Little India. BUT please don't book breakfast as it's the worst you can have - be it the attendants or the food quality - EXTREMELY BAD. You will find food flies all over the food which is hardly covered, food is cold, only handful options to go for in veg, no veg or even fruits. It's better if you can go out and have your breakfast as it will be of around same cost but satisfying, clean, hygienic and options to choose.

Located near to NU Sentral and KL Sentral, this is easily best accommodation spot for business cum travel convenience. There's Little Indian environment nearby and the room itself spacious, clean, all-in-one package of serviced apartment. Check in was breeze, there's proper pool and OOTD area, got cool Starbucks machine at the lobby. Breakfast was good. All in all, recommended!

I have stayed at this property at least 4 times; most recently for 8 nights. I must say the standards have dropped drastically. We booked a 1 bedroom premier. Upon entering the room, it smells of dust like it has not been used for awhile. Housekeeping is a disaster. On the first day there were only 2 bath towels - no hand or face towels. On another day, there was hand towels but no face towels. On yet another day, there was face towels but no hand towels. On each occasion we have to call for service to rectify. On day 3 of our stay, the entire handle came off the toilet door! Again, we have to call for service to rectify. Although, the problems were rectified eventually, it was one problem after another. We tried using the microwave, and there was no power or not functional. By then, we gave up and just used the toaster to warm up our bread. In addition, the Aircon does not seem to respond to the control; it was cold at night despite setting it to 25C. It has been a vastly disappointing stay. We intend to avoid this property for our future travels to KL.

My experience at this hotel was outstanding. The location is very convenient as it is close to a train station and there are is a mall along the neighborhood where you can go to get groceries or find a nice restaurant to eat at. The generously sized serviced apartment was impeccably maintained. The staff was genuinely accommodating, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. They are very helpful to search and find my reusable water bottle when I forgot it in the room after check-out. I highly recommend this place for its exceptional service and comfortable stay, and I anticipate returning in the future.

I recently stayed at Ascott Sentral Kuala Lumpur and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel's central location, just a stone's throw away from KL Sentral, made it convenient for transportation. The rooms were well-maintained and spacious, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The cleanliness was commendable, and the amenities provided met my expectations. The staff at Ascott Sentral were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth, contributing to a hassle-free stay.

Was looking for a place to stay around KL Sentral and Ascott couldn't have been a better choice. Few minutes walk from Sentral and right in the centre of Brickfields - how much better can it get for someone wanting to get to public transport quickly and have comforting Indian food for dinner? :) The walk from Sentral is quite short, but a bit challenging, so if you're arriving with heavy bags or with the elderly, just take a cab. Rooms are spacious, complete with a kitchenette, utensils, microwave etc. Nice huge bed, lots of storage space, a cozy lounge space, and a nice nook with a long table where you could work from with privacy. Absolutely great bathroom and quality toiletries too. They provide a couple of complimentary Nespresso coffee capsules for the machine in your room during your stay - nice gesture. They have a fantastic Starbucks self serve machine in the lobby too, as a coffee aficionado, this was heaven! Service at the reception was excellent and warming. I didn't use the indoor pool, but the gym was huge and amazing. I had it all to myself on both occasions :) One thing that could be improved is the breakfast spread and quality. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, and is a tie up with one in the same building - so that may have been the reason. Another minor thing was that they forgot to clean my room the whole day in spite of me switching on the button to do so. But they immediately did it when I got back and informed reception about it. Overall, excellent short stay in a fantastic location. Would stay again!

very satisfying experience, everything is good. Starting with a friendly receptionist, easy parking instructions, well -equipped and clean rooms. All the necessary kitchen equipment is here. It feels like living in your own home. Even near a busy road, no sound penetrated into the room. Delicious breakfast, delivered to the room at the time guests set during check in. There is a swimming pool, but it is necessary to register as they limit the number of guests in the pool. good location, close to shopping places, surrounded by many restaurants.

The room is very spacious which include kitchen too, the toilet also very spacious which is very comfort during shower and using the other toilet amenities. It has very big shower head and strong water flow and hot water on all tap the indian staff at the reception in the evening is very polite and friendly, i think he is in the night shift during our stay there, told us how to walk to the train station (instead of going through slope like what google maps has shown, that has very small walkway as there is driveway right next to u which is very dangerous). there's renovation in front of the hotel which leads to no proper drop off point and entrance, also there seems to be no one is working on the renovation even though it is weekdays and not public holiday. there is way too much mirror in the room which is uncomfortable as we dont like the mirror during sleep, should reduce the amount of mirror and one of it should hide inside the closet. there was some mark/stain on one of the mattress cover which can be seen with UV light there is a foul smell on the comforter of the bed, not very strong but can smell it the buffet breakfast was too stale as there isnt much choice of food; also should served continental/western food so that everyone can have it we ordered the fried bee hoon/rice vermicelli from the menu but it was spicy as not everyone can take spicy food, should have mentioned it on the menu or at least have the option for us to choose want spicy or not; we also ordered the chicken and egg wrap but it turns out to be just chicken ham and egg, should have written clearly as chicken ham instead of just chicken as people will assume it is bigger chunk of chicken meat, also the wrap portion is very small.

Stayed here some time ago when I was looking for a long term stay. Love the room but was slightly disappointed with the service. I was thrilled when they told me groceries or food ordered will be sent to my room. I ordered dinner and after having notification that my food arrived, I called twice and waited for half an hour, food still not sent up. I went down myself to collect thinking the staffs must be busy. I was disappointed to see my food sitting at the front desk with 2 staffs standing next to it busy with their mobile phone. I think it's a good idea to have this added service being a serviced residence but Ascott should also ensure it can deliver.

1st review on 11 Jan: This is my 2nd stay and I am disappointed. I booked for 6 nights this time and I was given a room at level 23, the WiFi was unusable, TV reception was blurry, wallpaper was peeling, iron board is unstable and toilet flush is leaking water. And my 2 neighbours keep their doors ajar and have noisy visitors late at night. Feedback some issues but nothing fixed. At the time of writing, I still have 2 nights and I will reconsider carefully whether to stay with this hotel again. 2nd review on 12 Jan. Called the reception at 11.20pm about my neighbour making noise and I can't rest. Reception counter guy called back less than 2 mins and said the security had informed my neighbour. Hardly believable given it takes quite a while to take the slow lift and also the neighbour continues to slam the door and make noise. Reception refused to do anything and even asked me what I want him to do. And I had to take action into my own hands and told my neighbors to quiet down. Such a poor attitude from a reputable hotel. I will give a zero star for service if this option is available.

We stayed for one night on KL stopover. The large apartment was squeaky clean, light and airy and well appointed. Well situated for Little India. Staff efficient and friendly. We will be staying here on our return trip.

Spacious rooms but has a stench from carpets or kitchen. Has basic breakfast and bare basic services. Air conditioner did not work properly during my stay and the staff couldn’t fix it so had to regulate the temperature by switching on and off after certain duration. Good value for money but there are better options in proximity if you are looking for proper 5 star hotels

The room was big and spacious. I liked the room because the provided kitchen & microwave. The funny part was the breakfast. I made the right decision to not book the breakfast, however the gave me free breakfast after registered the ASR membership. The breakfast was not even the “hotel” standard. Not only lack of choices, but the taste was mehhhhhhhh… You can get a better Nasi Lemak along the road at this area 🤣 and I understand why all the reviews about breakfast were 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻.

I stayed at the Ascott Sentral on two previous occasions. The rooms were spacious and have sufficient light if you are looking to work during your visit there. The location of the service apartment is centralised and easy to find.

Handy location to all the eateries and KL Sentral. Short walk to little India. My only negative is the car park fee. 6 RM per entry and exit. Being on holidays and visiting family, quite often we had multiple entry/exit during the day and it adds up.

I had an excellent stay and the room is well thought, as it comes with a kitchen and a separate study area. It is a serviced apartment so it is suitable for family with young children as well. Near KL Sentral so travelling around is convienent.

Room is big. Everything you’ll need is inside. Location is ok, quite near KL Sentral station though there’s no shelter covering the whole way to the station. Starbucks coffee machine at the lobby, not free.

I really enjoyed my 4-night stay at Ascott Central, Kuala Lumper, in the superior studio which is so spacious and has a separate large kitchen. The large windows provided views across the city.. The staff at the reception staff were excellent always responsive and very helpful. The apartment was very central to the shopping malls, train station, etc. There was a free drop off shuttle to close destinations which is a great service. I would highly recommend Ascott Central.

It was awesome in every aspect. The rooms were spacious, clean and had an excellent view of Little India, Brickfields. The staff were extremely courteous and I especially admire the Muslim staffs who worked through Raya. The amenities like washing machine and dryer, refrigerator, coffee machine, tea bags and ironing board were very convenient and useful.

As someone who’s on a business trip, the 1 bedroom Exec is just nice. They have all the essential amenities. It’s suitable for business travellers and it’s at a strategic location. It does few different from staying in a hotel, then again need go to learn to manage my expectations. Overall, it was a good stay.

This is the finest hotel. The people are very welcoming and warm. The reception desk, room service excellent n speed of room service very good. They welcomed me to the Eid celebration lunch today which is a nice gesture. Though I reached early, they gave an early check-in without any hassle. Very warm n welcoming hotel. Gymn is huge with quality equipment. Pool n indoor small pool is well maintained. I strongly recommend this hotel in KL.

Though you will need to book for slots. Parking is rm6 per entry per day even for guess. It's only a few minutes was to nu sentral mall where you could get just about anything.

Value for money. Better place than regular 4 or 5 star hotels, specially for long stays. Well equipped rooms with oven, fridge, cutlery, washing machine, dryer and what not. Staff is kind Nd helpful. 3 elevators and basic facilities. Swiming pool, gym, etc available. Parking at adjacent building at very reasonable price. Best location to stay - adjacent to KL Sentral terminal.

Terribly Frustrating Experience. My phone booking was confirmed via email BUT upon calling them on day of check-in was told only essential services booking allowed!! Understand its MCO regulation BUT WHY not given this crucial information by your staff during or after booking?? The onus is on the hotel to notify us on the unallowed hotel stays. What if we arrived at hotel with luggage in hand & then only given this info?!?..Exasperating!

Ascot Brickfields is my go-to hotel when we visit KL. I've had great experiences in the past but this trip was just disappointing. Agree with other reviews that the mattress is overly soft. Ours was sunk in the middle which hurt our back and affected our sleep for the past few days we were in the city. We managed to get a change in room but it was a downgrade: (1) low floor, (2) old and poorly maintained bathroom, and no change in the mattress' condition or pillows. Safe to say, we will not be coming back again.

We stayed with Ascott Sentral for 2 weeks and the serviced apartment crew was always super attentive to our needs, and highly proactive when it comes to serving their guests! It's a wonderful place to stay and main thing is that it is located in KL Sentral. Indians would love to stay in this place as you get all the indian food in walkable distance. Connectivity from Ascott is just wonderful. Rooms are awesome and you get complimentary breakfast which is also good. Facilities are given to cook food. Overall a very good stay.

The breakfast service leaves a lot to be desired. The quality of food is made worse by the state of the restaurant. The place is dirty, tables are left uncleaned. As an example, we arrived for breakfast at 8 am and the table beside us was left unattended to until 9 am. The dinnerware are grimy so Im always left wondering whether the food I am eating is clean or not. I wasnt too shocked anymore when I ate a slice of an orange that tasted like onions!!! It looks like the hotel is understaffed because of the apparent lack of service and maintenance. I am disappointed with the sub-par quality of service in this particular location. The front desk officer was excellent though.

Book one of the Studio Premier Twin room. It was fantastic. First of all, the staff there did a very good job in welcoming every customers that came in. The check-in was smooth and the staff are all helpful. For the room with the price offered. I'm quite satisfied with the cleanliness. The room was well-equipped with toiletries, hair dryer, safe-box, iron and refrigerator. A night well spent. Definitely will come again for the next visit. 👍👍👍

The 1 bedroom exec was well worth the price. Large space and nice staff. There is also a self service coined operated starbuck machine at the lobby. Car park at a flat rate of RM6 per entry or day. One thing that I don't find comfortable is the aircond that is facing the bed directly. I didn't ask the staff to adjust since I'm only staying for one night. Overall, nice location and stay.
