I wasn’t feeling well due to migraine because for the past 2 weeks I barely sleep in the morning due to insomnia and stress and I work at night. This Doctor Malcom said normally in Malaysia if stressful job, resign. I said I cannot just resign because I need the job but keeps on telling me so if this problem doesn’t get resolve I keep coming to seek medical assistance and MC. Instead of focusing to help me address my issue that I’m not feeling he keeps on pushing negativity. Now I get it why this clinic has several negative reviews on google. I just didn’t have the option since I was nearby this clinic. I’d better go somewhere else next time. VERY RUDE DOCTOR!!!

Disappointing visit. Came to consult and seek advice to visit a specialist for my cornea infection. Gave me a referral letter but stated “patient unable to provide any symptoms of cornea infection except she said she has” In which I told the doc I felt a folded layer of tissue on my cornea (similar to what i had last year resulted to a treatment to remove the infection) if that doesn’t convince you, diagnose and examine me instead of nodding and not asking any questions. I went to specialist after and was diagnosed with cornea abrasion (wounded). Dr Malcolm is very unprofessional, shows no empathy and didn’t even put an effort to try to understand my situation. (Same comments with others)

Absolutely appalled at the level of professionalism. My case is that I got my periods in the morning and I started feeling cramps right then itself. It was not too severe but since this is something I experience regularly I knew that the pain would build up gradually and eventually become unbearable so I thought I would go see the doctor and get medication before the pain becomes unbearable. The MALE doctor, Dr. MALCOM (same Indian doctor who I've been seeing a lot of people complain about in the reviews) that saw me had the audacity to say that he has had 15 years of experience treating women with menstrual pain and I was not walking with a hunch like women with period pain do....he checked my blood pressure felt my stomach and said everything is fine and he has had plenty of experience with women who are on periods (but have you ever physically experienced the pain that women go through and do you understand that each and every woman has different levels of pain when it comes to periods in fact some people do not even feel it at all but clearly 15 years of experience has not taught him this) he brushed off all my comments and finished up the session real quick. 15 years of experience and a Doctor in front of his name but none of the qualities, intellect or empathy that comes hand in hand with being a doctor. I half wondered if I should shove my bloodied pad in front of his face for him to believe that I was not lying...

Worst Experience over all the clinic in KL. First of all, the reception was very unfriendly, they been laughed at me when they ask for my IC and I gave them my IC number instead. I felt uncomfortable with the attitude, and you should just ask again instead of laughing at your patient. Secondly , the doctor I visit named DR.MALCOM , I repeat DR.MALCOM, I repeat again DR.MALCOM. I was having period pain at the point I had fainted during work, my supervisor suggested me to take MC after few hours of work, but at the session, the time I had told him that I had a menstrual pain he straight brushed of my words and didn’t believe me like I was faking MC or something. He even said something like “You should asked your supervisor to give you a letter of consent / approval before you come and visit me.” Hello ??? Does it changes anything if I have that letter to show you ? You can’t wake a person who are fake sleeping so do you DON’T WANT TO believe your patient’s words. However he did done some body checking for me but it was take NO MORE THAN 5 minutes and said that I was fine / can’t find anything wrong with you. Zero Empathy, Rude Attitude, Job Avoidance. I wonder how much money you’ve paid for the college / universities to fake a Doctor Certificate. While I was trying to “fight back” which is trying to explain that I was sick, he put a full stop on that session by telling me “It’s ok miss, if you’re not satisfied with my services, you are glad to complain me from the ministry. Last but not least, after all the accusations , judgmental and unreasonable hassle for the good old DR.MALCOM, without any advice and positive feedback, I was charged RM15 from my AIA member, and I was asked to give a RM5 consultation fees. I admit that this was my mistake that I should’ve leave earlier before they called my name and ask for the consultation fees, and should have cancel the appointment from my AIA app before they’ve got the chance to charge from my end. I’ve also read through all the Google reviews and understand most of the patients are facing the same problem as me. Let see how long your business can stand, DR. MELCOM, your welcome.

Despite the negative reviews, I decided to visit this clinic because I was feeling unwell in Mid Valley. I arrived at 3.40pm and the clinic was closed. I called their number to ask what time they open and was told from 9am. I asked if they were open now and she answered affirmatively. I subsequently pointed out that I was right outside a closed clinic. It was only then she said: Oh, it's our lunch break from 3.20pm to 5.20pm. WHY would you say that you're open at the moment when you're not? Imagine if I drove to Mid Valley only to find you closed. I understand you need to eat but do no provide inaccurate information. I ended up visiting Medicare in Mid Valley and had the most pleasant experience.

Don’t waste ur time coming here! Receptionist girl name Nur is so rude. No manners, rolling eyes when talking to me. I came here to check because I wasn’t feeling well. I went to see a doctor. Doctor gave prescription and few medications. Of course I was expecting them to give me MC because I was having a fever. Doctor went back didn’t sign for MC. And Receptionist was so rude talking to me. Unprofessional

Dear Dr Malcom, if you read this, my visit to your clinic, and had your consultation were rather unpleasant. 1.I was having coughs and fever, and coming in seeking your advice, and when I wanted to share how I started having the symptoms, and what medicines that I took from a pharmacy > you cut me off from continue. You just wanted to know what are my current symptoms, seems like you don't bother to know the history. 2. I was being patient, and explained my symptoms again, but you seemed in rush to check me, I didn't feel any empathy and compassion from your treatment 3.I'm in the middle of important work meetings and deliverables, and I humbly requested non-drowsy medicines, yet, you cut me off again, and sounded rather 'defensive' (not even finishing listening to me), but you went on claiming on 'Doctors have to listen to the patient, how Doctors have to follow the MOH guidelient and bla bla bla, all your father grandmother stories as medical practitioner, that add no value at all to me as a patient, during that time). 3. Understand where you were coming from and that the drowsy medicines could work better and faster for my symptoms, but you failed to listen and understand patient''s background and history, what were our concerns, and consult your best and to 'discuss with us'. Not sure if it ever came across your mind that there are other hundreds of ways you could convey this message to me, while at the same time educating the patients on what works best. but sorry, you failed on this part. Overall, the whole consultation felt artificial, lacks of compassion and empathy and neither you care about patients. The whole short journey seeking your treatment feels irritating instead. Feels like you just wanted to get the case off asap, and for the patient to leave the room asap.. Due to this, I feel that you dont 'trust;' in me and my stories (you didnt even bother to try to know), which made me feel not to trust your consultation and treatment. I will go to another clinic/Dr, and seeking for 2nd opinion for my symptoms.

The worst clinic I've ever been to. Shame on their doctor who has zero compassion with their patient. What's the point of consultation when the doctor who attended you doesn't even acknowledge your symptoms. What kind of a doctor that is who were so proud and even ask me to file a complain to the ministry of health for none issuance of a medical certificate. Shame on you doc! Shame on you!!!! You don't even deserve a single star!

this clinic doesnt deserve any star! this is my report to Mediviron HQ and I will further my report. i want to lodge a report regarding 1 of your branch doctor. if im not mistaken, his name is Dr Malcom. from Klinik Mediviron near Mid Valley. I was having period pain at the point I vomit and I cant stand properly but when in session, the doctor didnt believe me and made remarks like i was coming to the clinic everymonth just to get MC and use period pain as an excuse. he was so rude. i came once in january for the same reason but he didnt give me MC as he said i wasnt sick. he just check my blood pressure. not even checking my stomach! i've been having my period monthly since 15 years ago and having experience period pain since, been admitted to ward once and been laying on bed for 3days straight for period pain, never have any doctor said im not sick just after checking my blood pressure! the first time he didnt believe me i can let it pass thinking maybe he had a bad day but this time, all of his words very disgusting and made me thinking how can he be a doctor, percisely a clinic doctor without having any empathy and very rude. i will make report further to the ministry and AIA about this. I also read many complains regarding him in the Google reviews which Mediviron shouldve took action.

So the review about the doctor and the clinic being a joke almost made me not go. The doctor was friendly and informative. Told me everything I needed to know about my sudden high blood pressure. Administered meds and I am very pleased how professional he and his staff was. Definitely not a joke !!

Dr Malcom truly understands patient’s needs and concerns, and he suggests the most appropriate treatment for me. He is very caring and even asked the nurses to follow up on my condition too. He and the staffs deserve more respect and honest review from every patients. This google rating doesn’t justify their professional and excellent service.

Went to see a doctor to figure what’s wrong with me as I have migraine, vertigo and felt nauseous for 2 days. Doctor said dont know what’s wrong with me and refer me to kecemasan. And charged me RM25 for telling me he don’t know what’s wrong with me. My advise to you? DM me to ask me what’s wrong with u, I’ll charge you Rm2.50 only to tell you that I don’t know what’s wrong with you

The reception attitude was bad. I was really uncomfortable before seeing a doctor. They even refused to let me see the doctor. Google was talking about closing at 7:30, but when I went there for the second time, there were still 10 minutes. They refused to help me to see a doctor, and the two Malays in reception looked so fierce. Isn't it the doctor's care to take care of the patient, and I will pay for it, is it for you? Personally, I don't support you guys go to this clinic. I suggest you guys go to Klinik Medicare and second floor (beside the POPULAR), where it is open until 10:00, and the service attitude is good.

Went there for my sore throat. Read the negative review here but I have no other option as the closest to my hotel is this clinic. Called upfront for appointment. Receptionist mentioned just walk in. Tone and the way the receptionist answer is acceptable for me. Went to see Dr Malcolm after work. He is quite patient and friendly in my session. Fees is reasonable provided the clinic is located in MidValley.

Pleasant visit this morning. Nurses very attentive. Dr explains my concern well. Major respect to nurse Ika (the one who put dressing to my injured toe). She knows her job and do it very well. Thank you 🙏🏽 I understand the rush as it is a small clinic but it is at Mid Valley (crowded).

In light of recent events and the receipt of a legal letter, I apologize if my review caused any inconvenience or distress. My intention was to share my honest experience at the clinic. However, I stand by my assessment of the service I received, which led me to give a one-star rating. It’s disappointing when expectations aren’t met, and I hope my original feedback serves as a catalyst for improvement. Despite this, I regret any negative impact it may have had. Besides, I apologize for any misunderstanding caused by the review posted by Kobe Lim on my behalf. It was not appropriate for him to write a review on my behalf.

The initial impression at the reception was positive, with friendly staff, though private conversations between them were loud. However, the extended waiting time, despite only one patient ahead of me, was concerning, totaling 1 hour and 10 minutes. Upon meeting Dr. Malcolm, the experience was disappointing. Despite a warm greeting, his apparent lack of interest in my medical history and observations raised concerns and could perceived as bruised ego. During the consultation, he asked for my treatment suggestions, it created an uneasy situation for me because I was confused with his approach. Confused, I hesitantly provided input based on prior experiences thinking that he would give me his professional opinion. When I inquired about him verifying the medication, he dismissively stated it wasn't necessary, echoing sentiments found in other negative reviews—that doctors must heed patient treatment plans to avoid negative online feedback. This approach, prioritising online reputation over sound medical judgment, raises significant concerns about patient safety and the potential for misdiagnosis and incorrect treatments. I believe Dr. Malcolm is a good doctor and a nice man. His apparent frustration with online reviews is understandable, but the potential risks associated with this approach warrant serious consideration.

The doctor needs to have better time management. It says open at 9 a.m. but the doctor is always late or away to the bank or etc.

Saw Dr Malcolm for vertigo a couple of weeks back. He was professional and referred me to see an eye specialist which might trigger vertigo. The clinic nurse called an hour later to make sure I got to the eye specialist safely.

This is a busy clinic; no frills. But in consultation Dr Malcom takes the time to explain the nature/origin of the pain which helped me understand why its coming back and more importantly how to handle this better. He's matter of fact and to the point but knowledgeable and answers all my questions. Diagnosis is accurate (with referrals to specialist where needed), no dishing out unnecessary antibiotics or medication (unless needed).
