Do not come here if you’re planning to set up your e-ccriss information. You have to go to Menara Bumiputra Commerce (CIMB) instead. Refer pic for reference. If you’re at BNM, its a abt 10 mins walk using the overhead bridge crossing the highway and river. The building is at the opposite of the road.

The best money museum full of historical information suits the whole family, a place not to be miss! Good topics in display, gained a lot of financial knowledge while having fun. The Islamic financial system part was a highlight. Good Cafe at a reasonable price.

If it is not for work, people come here for two other reasons 1) the Museum 2) the Cafe. Please make sure you wear shoes and trousers. No shorts, tshirts, sandals or flip flops. They have a strict dress code for the cafe. I was here for some presentations. So these are my photos for the library in the upper level. Parking is RM5 per entry.

Nice building, clean, well-managed and equipped with ATM, prayer room, cafetaria, gym, museum and library. Please note that some of the facilities are closed or limited during pandemic. Its restaurants offer meals at subsidised price. If you're taking public transport, u can get off at LRT Bandaraya station or BNM station for Komuter Line. Then walk for around 10-15 minutes. They have restarted to operate free shuttle services for transport across BNM's nearest buildings (HQ - Sasana Kijang - Lanai Kijang).

Very quiet and cosy place to conduct a seminar/conference/meeting. With ample space for parking, no worries of traffic jam within the area. Building surrounded by greenery, and has one of the best mussolah.

1st of work here? Follow these steps: 1) Back of the building is the entrance for the Visitor Parking. 2) Touch & Go RM5 (per entry) 3) Park at LG4/ LG5 4) There is 2 locations for the lift. 5) Go to G Floor 6) Scan your bags/items at the security 7) Register yourselfat the counter (Provide IC & license/any card with your name on it) 8) They will ask to snap a picture of you at the camera 9) They will present you with a ‘Visitor Pass’ 10) Goodluck!

Beg dan makanan dilarang bawak masuk. No bag and food are allowed. Better left them in your car. Entrance free.

I have a bad experience today as there are no notice put up from their website, be it on the building itself and social media telling the public that the place is closed for visitors. We were harassed by the police officer which our intention is having a meeting lunch with our office Board of Directors. Bad experience and humiliating.

The 'polis bantuan' at the lobby was not helpfull, she keep asking us what u want to do here, what u need to do here. We said we want to go to museum. And she ask again what u need to do here, the guy beside her just laughed. We got confused. Then she said 'go scan first. There were few people behind us. At first she should said that, instead of make we feel humiliated.

"I recently had the opportunity to visit Bank Negara Malaysia, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The bank was very large, yet it was immaculately clean and well-organized, which made it easy to navigate. The staff were all very professional and courteous, and they went out of their way to ensure that I had a great experience. The bank was well-lit and spacious, with plenty of seating areas where I could wait for my turn to be served. The teller lines were well-organized and moved quickly, and the staff were all very knowledgeable and efficient. I was also impressed with the additional services that were available at the bank, such as the currency exchange service, which was very convenient and had competitive rates. Overall, I was very impressed with Bank Negara Malaysia, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a large, clean, and professional bank with excellent customer service

Parking - convenient Safety - feels protected Security - very strict Registered at the counter for a meeting with the client at the World Bank office. Lobby was cleaned and nice corporate offices. Overall, it is an experience to be at the 1 of the historic places. I'm not sure if photos are allowed taken, but I was afraid of taking a snap 😅 I was always with my phone camera, but here I wasn't sure.

Modern gallery with art collection and history about mint, money and trade. The focal point is the spiral staircase.

Used to visit here. Great place to relax and spend quality time with family (decent and reasonable price food). Now, a lot of exhibitions are not accessible or not working (even the locker services). Expects more from the Museum Shop. Parking no longer FOC on the weekend.

The art on the top floor was nice. Admission is free! But the rest is only about the bank and finances. So if you're not into that, you'll might find it quite boring like it was for me 😅

The food is quite expensive. The gallery mainly contains things that aren't necessarily related to bank negara.

Top facilities, spacious and sparkling clean. Security is tight here, you are required to go through a security process just like at the airport. The musolla is mind-blowingly gorgeous.

Since this building is related to money 💰 (BNM), so you have to go through the security checkpoint before entering it. Best thing here is the cafe provides variety of coffee and pastry with affordable price. If you are Muslim and want to perform your prayer, kindly proceed to surau at the basement floor.

Suitable to bring your kids here, especially at their ground level section. Free parking and free admittance to the BNM muzium makes it a very cost-effective place to let your kids burn some of those pent-up energy. The only downside is the cafe having no aircon at all as their cycle forces people to not sit for too long in any case. But it's freaking hot either way, hence the loss of 1-star from my rating.

Good experiences for Malaysian or non Malaysian to know more about the history and development of money in Malaysia. It's free for the entrance and you can take your time to visit the museum.

They need more plug points in common areas for visitors to charge mobile devices.

Nation's ultimate finance and economics museum. Very classy. Very clean. The cafe is cozy and the food is affordably priced. If you are a bit exhausted from visiting the attractions in the Lake Garden's area, consider coming here to refresh while enjoying the exhibits. I wish museums in Malaysia could emulate how the place is being run.

Been here many times pre-covid. First time this year in 2022. A lot of exhibits are under renovation especially the children museum. Used to be larger. Now It is a short 15 min activity. My biggest problem was no one informed us there is a complete closure exhibit from 1pm to 2pm for lunch time (not even when we first came in the lobby and had to register) . Even the museum shop is closed and the staff members weren’t nice about it. They literally kick us out the museum shop few mins before 1pm when my boy just wanted to take a look. It is ridiculous that there is no staff rotation and all of us have to leave. The museum just lost a lot of visitors as people would just leave like us. We already had lunch at 12pm at the cafe and thought would could continue after. Only to find out we have to wait an hour so before we could continue checking out the exhibits. We would be a laughing stock if more overseas visitors come to visit. But as Malaysians, we would just put up with it. Love Sasana Kijang but management and visitor friendly policies should be in places.

Very poor facilities. Doesn't even have a water dispenser for visitors. But the food in one of the cafe was not bad.

I was here several times before to visit the Bank Negara Art Gallery which has an excellent collection of artworks by many local great artists, but this is the first time I attend a lecture in a lecture hall, an excellent class by a renowned Professor.
