This is a café that I see will close down maybe in one year to come if someone doesn't step up and manage the place properly We waited for more than an hour for our food. My Eggs Benedict with chicken toast - supposedly served with wholemeal bread, but I had one pathetic looking dinner roll cut into halves with two acceptable poached eggs, grilled store-bought cold cut, and completely split Hollondaise sauce which was so bland I had to sprinkle salt and pepper abundantly My friend had lamb risotto. The risotto was so dry the cook managed to present it in cylindrical shape (at this point it had gotten so bad it is funny) with some lamb that was so overcooked and smelled I ordered earl grey tea. I am not sure how someone can manage to tone down a supposedly strong tasting and fragrant tea to borderline teh Boh tasting tea. Either they used a lousy tea brand, the storage method was poor not sealed in airtight container, or it's just old tea leaves stock Although the waiter kept us well informed about the shortage of staff but at one point he sighed when we came in with seven of us instead of eight as initially booked and said, "Sigh, I sent away two customers who wanted to come in already", blatantly - despite the restaurant being severely underpowered and not being able to serve appropriately with the load of customers at that time. At that point I understood that sales was all that mattered for them Disappointing also for a restaurant with such elaborate interior decoration, our waiter wore only black pants and black tshirt, serving drinks like you get it at mamak restaurants, clang this clang that, no finesse at all And what is the point of a whole book of menu when the restaurant ran out of almost half of the food menu. They had a long list of waffles but only macarons were available The washroom - the U-bend already had cracked painting peeling off with the sanitary dustbin having piles of rubish and used toilet paper it was incredibly intensely extremely disgusting Nothing about this place apart from the decoration itself is worth a dining experience, sorry but not sorry

Nice deco and ambiance but bad service and food quality. Lamb chop risotto was extremely hard and poor quality meat. The waiter was kind enough to refer this matter with the chef who prepared the food. The disappointing part was the chef helped to change the meat only and there was no difference. Then kept putting the blame on their new supplier which is not acceptable as it's nothing to do with the paying guest. After they agreed to change a different meal for the similar cost, all of a sudden a 3rd person who dressed up like a carpenter came over confronting why we requested for a change. Mask on his chin instead of face, slurring and saying he is the main chef of the restaurant. There is no Caption or supervisor on duty as he is on leave. The waiter came over with him and told us that the main chef was not satisfied and blamed him for not handling the customer instead. We had a horrible experience on our wedding anniversary day which we made reservation in advance. All staff's are Bangladeshis including Chef who has no proper attire and hygiene. Waiter Raj was the only one who gave proper explanation. The management has to look up on this matter and atleast hire a local to supervise the restaurant and manage both customers and the employees. Price paid not up to satisfactory.

They will help to play birthday song and pre reservation will be special deco. Hi-tea set is no longer serve. Weekends target RM50 per person with drink. Western cuisine. Air-con super cold.

Like others say the interior lives up to expectation but that's it. The food is overpriced, and the quality is terrible for the price. The chicken is drier than the sahara desert, the beef wellington supposedly medium rare the meat in the middle too red, almost as if cooked in a hurry, the pastry for the beef tastes like paratha🥲 I mean for 38 the portion if not bigger than the quality should be better but the mushroom soup is good and comforting nothing special. Wouldn't be back here again...

Tried their belgian chocolate waffle and vanilla latte. Nothing special in my opinion. The taste is veeeeery average. They only have one server so the service time is a bit slow. I think people come here just because of the fancy interior.

The cafe concept is so great. I really love the decorations requested for special occasion (birthday lunch). Staffs service are great too. But when it comes to the food, it tasted average. A bit pricey though. However, the food presentation is superb. The cakes is yummy. It won't be my first and last visit. Will come again for the next special occasions

The decor lives up to its reputation. But that is where it stops. The food and drinks are simply over-priced. For example, I ordered peach tea expecting it to be at least tea from a sachet but it was made from a cordial or powder mix. I can tell as they were no tea sachet or leaves in my cup. It was RM9. The red velvet cake was hard and dry. Not sure how long the cake has been in the fridge. The beef burger was good albeit on the salty side. Beef Wellington is probably too raw to my liking. To be fair, I should have mentioned the done-ness of the meat to the waiter when ordering.

Ordered lamb shoulder with mushroom risotto. Supposed it is served with sauteed veges. Only after i told the waiter, he came and gave me salad. The fresh one, u know what i mean right? And yeah, the mushroom risotto, u cant even find any tiny bits of mushroom . Poorly done.😮‍💨

Never thought such beautiful restaurants would exist in a small shop lot. Some may enjoy rooftop views however if you are a person who doesn't like heights or simply bored of the rooftop view of same old KL. Try this place for a change, for a normal class fine dining would feel like. The English way or in easier terms, how they would eat in England with English table etiquette, this is the place. The food is really good but if you have never tried and actual English food or almost like English food not western but English. This is going to be not so tasty for you. There's no salt or spicy inside. It's just nice. Overall worth it for the price anx definitely an Instagrammable place. ✅ 👌🏽

Actually I went to the wrong outlet. Be sure which one you're going for: - Cafe Ame Soeur - The Ame Soeur Both are located in Bukit Jalil, but different area. The Ame Soeur is much bigger while Cafe Ame Soeur is quite small. I'd say I am paying for the ambience and decoration. The decor is wonderful, very instagrammable, only that it's kinda small area. The music was lovely and good place to chill out. I came on public holiday (Thaipusam) and the staff mentioned that they are short of staff. Hence, the food preparation will be a bit delayed. And yes, it arrives quite late. Ordered fish and chips, 2 slice of cakes (oreo and red velvet) & the mixed fruit tea. The cakes and tea showed up early, but the fish and chips arrives after 20-30mins later, I think. Satisfying portion for the fish and chips. But, the wedges are kinda salty. The cakes and tea are just fine.

First step inside and was in awe by this petite cafe. From ceiling to the floor, all was painted with victorian concept. Then, we were greeted by a waiter with flashing smile. We were seated at our table and was served the menu. The appetizer came and might I say, that was the tastiest soup I've ever had. It was creamy, rich in taste, and the shrimp, perfectly cooked. Followed by main dish, grilled salmon with strawberry sauce. This dish is what I described a perfect balance. Aside from the sweetness of the strawberry sauce, the salmon's meat still preserved its unique taste. The salmon skin is my favorite, crispy and golden. I would like to keep writing but this dining experience ended with dessert, where it was presented delicately in a glass, layered with strawberry, white chocolate and berry sauce. First dip from the glass and your mouth was filled with a gushed of sweet and sourness. I personally think that this dessert taste like a blueberry cheesecake. Overall, I'd say the price fairs well with my experience here. Definitely recommend people to go here. Try the food and experience the dining pleasure. Totally worth it.

I made a booking via their the cafe's online booking system for 10am on a Sunday. When we arrived there, the cafe was closed. After repeated calls and messages, I finally got a response from someone via text, when we were told that the store only opens at 11am. However, even their own website has listed delivery & take-away hours as 10am-9pm, and the info on their own Whatsapp says operation hours is from 10am-9pm as well. When questioned why their very own booking system is accepting bookings for 10am if they only open at 11am, the reply was "Is that my problem?" Unbelievable! Good to know that some businesses are still making lots of money during MCO that they don't think having proper customer service skills (re: manners) is necessary at all. Will definitely not be returning.

Worst experience ever. We had to wait over 30 mins just for boxed apple juice that we thought was gonna be fresh. The food was nothing spectacular just edible. For its price totally unreasonable. Waited for an hour and one of our meals hadn't arrived so we asked the waitress to just cancel it and we came to find out that one of the employees forgot to process our order. The theme of the restaurant was amazing and that was only the upside about it.

The chicken I ordered was stale. You can tell from the chewy texture this was probably microwave reheated. Also the cutlery despite gold color just looks good but cannot cut anything! Please give good steak knife instead of knife that is blunt like butter knife! Otherwise how will we cut the meats. Ambience was good but still nothing to shout about. The sole waiter / cashier was prompt in service but pity the guy handling the whole floor on his own. Wouldn't recommend to anyone or return again!

Very beautiful cafe...small but cosy. European deco style. Food was alright. Do try the butter rice, delicious. Service was a bit slow; the on duty cook left out one of our order. Beautiful decor but food is so-so only. Deco 5* Food 3* Service 3* Waffle is not to my liking. The ice-cream is small scoop and melting fast when served. Waffle is soft and not a bit of crispy. Too sweet too.

Nice place, environment very classic, very suggest reserve before go. Things may improve such as adjust Air-conditional according to weather(the day I go was raining, kinda cold), music may select piano song to match the environment (and also the music may louder)

This cafe is only worth for the French interior. The food is really below expectations and overpriced. No french desserts were available and the service is slow. There are two restaurants & both are located in Bukit Jalil, so don’t be confused. The Amè Sour is the larger restaurant. After going to the smaller version,Cafe Amè Sour, I disputed to the manager at the main outlet because of the poor quality of the English breakfast and the cappuccino. And I was given a free coffee as a complimentary at the other outlet. In short, a cafe worth for photos only, not for dining in.

The management or chefs or both definitely changed, i visited in 2019 it was nice but now i ordered Medium RARE Beef Wellington and it was the worst i ever tested. first, it was small cut pieces of very chewy beef inside that is Definitely not medium rare and second, the pastry was disgusting as the bottom part was still partially frozen, and rest was just raw pastry except top part. Then the beverages, i ordered four season tea for 17 myr and they just half filled not properly washed pot and threw one teabag that had barely any taste and colour, and my wife ordered vanilla latte and they just brought plain milk with little bit of vanilla flavour added. Really disappointing experience, as i brought my wife for valentines dinner there with high hopes and received extremely poor quality food and beverage for the same price as it was before..... if they want to reduce cost of their product, why keep the same price?

Delicious food served here. Really enjoyed the waffle with ice cream and fruits. Glamorous and you could be mistaken for being in a Restaurant in Paris. But menu is more Italian. Service delivery was however disappointing. We were a group of 7 and main meal was served at all different times. Spoilt the whole experience.
