If you are bored in Malaysia, try taking this double-decker bus to tour the city of Kuala Lumpur. This was an exciting experience for me to try to find alternative holiday. With just one payment you can visit several tourist attractions, both in the city and outside the city. Let me help you how to buy tickets. First, to purchase tickets, please look for the KL Hop-on Hop-off bus terminal closest to you (I bought my ticket at the Bukit Bintang terminal). Second, KL Hop-on Hop-off is available in 3 routes, city and out of city routes (available 24 hours or 48 hours and only until 5 pm, if you haven't arrived 24 hours, you can continue the next day by showing your ticket) and the last route city light (around the city at night only 2 hours). Third, after purchasing your ticket, you can immediately get on the bus. If you take a city or outside city trip there are different bus colors. In the middle of the trip you can change buses to different lines at several stations. You will also be given a travel map. You can get off at several points and can take the bus back if the trip time is not over. Buses are available every 20/30 minutes. Fourth, I suggest traveling in the morning at 8 am and you can sit on the second floor of the bus with the roof open and enjoy the trip with views of the city of Kuala Lumpur. Fifth, for those of you who go with your family, such as seniors aged 60 years over or groups of more than 2 people, you will get a discount on ticket prices. Apart from that, tickets can be purchased online on the KL Hop-on Hop-off website or get ticket in terminal. Hope this helps, don't forget to wear glasses and sunscreen, haha.

Paid $190 ringgit for a slow "indoor" incomprehensible bus ride around the city. When we lined up, more than 100 people in line but only 24 outside seats & 18 covered seats. I asked when the bus filled up if we could get on the next bus, as they magically stopped the line after the 4 of us. Was first told "yes, but next bus is more expensive" then after going up to find all the outside seats had been filled, the announcing agent then said, "we can't wait another bus now that we've boarded, all the 5 other bus are the same." She continues to argue with me until I give up explaining why we wanted off to wait. We then begin the tour after waiting 25 minutes & the speakers ONLY work OUTSIDE & the back windows are tinted YOU CANT SEE ANYTHING TALLER THAN THE BUS. Went down to mention that "nobody can hear the guide" & I was just ignored. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS SCAM. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, YOU CAN SEE MORE OF THE CITY FROM A TAXI THAN THIS "NIGHT BUS"...

Buy tickets online and get on at any stop closest to you. On saturdays and Sundays, you can buy tickets on the bus. Besides the day tour that runs from 9am to 6pm, theres also a 2 hour night tour. The day tour lets you hop on and off anywhere and bubses come in 20 minute intervals Carry a hat, a bottle of water, wear something breezy with long sleeves as you will have the sun beating down on you. Carry headphones or ear plugs to drown out chattering drone of tourists and give your KL your favourite soundtrack Great way to get around the entire city for 50 ringgit. Would be nice to have a live tracker to see where they are Theres minimal commentary on the loudspeaker and not too easy to understand. Tip: Hop off and on from the beginning- you can do the full tour without getting off with the last bus at 4.... If you sit right in front, you get a bit of shade from the front facade of the bus... Find me on insta @melankaya I'll post more soon

Time came just great that we were 10mins left from the first bus started. Ticket issued fast and just hop-on the bus. It started promptly and the staff is friendly guiding us throughout the tour. We were allowed to drop off for photos taking at National Palace, Telekom Tower, Merdeka Square & Twin Tower. Overall the tour took 2 hours and return back to the Plaza Sungei Wang main entrance. Good start for us to roughly know that travel schedule to be rearrange in the good way.

A great experience to be on the open deck bus and looking at various tourist attractions from different point of view. Since I have been staying in KL for many years, so decided to stay on the bus the whole journey. The whole tour around took about two hours. Only when traveling on highway is less interesting. Overall is good as a been there done that experience.

We are 5 tourists from Manila Philippines 🇵🇭. Experience is not really good. It’s raining, drizzling; that’s uncontrollable. But the driver seems not concern. He didn’t give us any umbrella ☔️ The seats are untidy. Chair is dirty. Unhygienic as traveller. KL hop on and hop off should improve the tour experience. Need to leverage the service in exchange to what we paid as tourists. KL is a good city particularly at night for sightseeing.

This is my 2nd time ride on KL Hop On Hop Off. The bus is well maintained in good conditions and both open air deck and aircond provides comfortable journey for every one with different interests. During COVIC19 RMCO Period, the operation time revised frm 11am to 4.30pm. Each Red or Green line takes about 1Hrs to complete the journey, the frequent of the bus is every 1Hrs. Therefore the time for ground sightseeing is very limited. The whole day i only able to visit Chinatown on Red Line, and National Museum on Green Line. Online ticketing is available on their official website. KLOOK is offering some promotion for this sometimes. However, it's still an enjoyable experience.

If you are planning to do a city bus ride in KL ..Then don't worry KL HOp on Hop off is best service which you can opt...So for my case i went directly to bukit bintag station and reached to this stop as per picture for foreigners ticket charge as of 2022 June was 50 Rm .Here the ride was for two hours where they try to show us Kl City ..also believe that if you reach to KL tower stop ,then you can get down there explore the place and take the next bus ride . Note based on timing always better to check with bus guide before getting down any stop.

I joined the KL City of lights tour on 27 April 23. After raining, the bus was wet but it did not affect the tour. The speed of driving a bit fast supposed should be slower so that the tourists can get more time to take photos. The bus non stop hitting the branches of the tree besides the road...But the night scene of KL city is fascinating.

Easy way to travel to all the spots you want to reach while also providing a sight seeing experience of the city. If there are no issues, this would be a 5 star experience! Major problems for me were a complete bus breakdown, lack of bus stop signs and unclear speech from the tour guides. The number of times to get on and off is unlimited between 9am-8pm. The tour guides give very interesting information if you can understand them. The complete tour lasts 2 hours. The buses come in intervals of 20-30 minutes at the bus stops. You can leave and get on at any stop to take photos, eat, or shop. Just make sure you don't forget where you dropped off because it can be hard to find out once you're off. Also, I'd like to add that despite buying one day tickets, we were kindly offered two days to use them. That was nice, even if we never used the service more than twice 😅

I took Ronda-Ronda KL slot at 12.30pm. It was so hot that day and I couldn't be at the open area. Friendly sales representative at Bukit Bintang counter. Abang botak (I didn't get your name) explained everything so clear and made me want to try the night slot The overall trip took about 2 hours and if bad traffic, it can adds up another half an hour to your trip duration. During weekdays, only Ronda-Ronda KL (2 hours trip) is available, but during weekends (including Fridays), you can hop on hop off the whole day.

To get a better experience when riding hop on hop off is to seat in the outside of the bus on upper floor as we can enjoy the night vibe of Kuala Lumpur without restriction like window. You need to start queing around 6 pm, though the buses will start the journey around 7pm. There are some places where the bus will stop for around 5 to 10 min to give time for tourist or visitor to take a pictures like National Palace and Kuala Lumpur tower.

Embarking on the Kuala Lumpur City of Lights tour aboard the open-top bus was an enchanting journey that transformed the city into a radiant spectacle. From towering skyscrapers to vibrant streets, the experience was nothing short of magical. Our recommendation: bring along your raincoats for an unobstructed view of the city's beauty, rain or shine! The open-top bus tour treated us to breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur's illuminated skyline. The glittering lights of iconic landmarks like the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, and the dazzling cityscape created a visual feast that captured the essence of the city after dark. It was a spectacular introduction to Kuala Lumpur's vibrant nightlife. The open-top bus provided an unrivaled vantage point for taking in the city's grandeur. With unobstructed views from every angle, we felt like urban explorers navigating through a sea of lights. The knowledgeable guides on board shared fascinating insights about the city's history, architecture, and culture, enhancing the experience with depth and context. The weather in Kuala Lumpur can be unpredictable, but don't let a few raindrops dampen your adventure. Bringing raincoats proved to be a game-changer, allowing us to fully enjoy the open-top experience even if a drizzle surprised us. The refreshing mist added an extra layer of excitement to the journey, making it a memorable and unique experience. The audio-guided tour provided a rich tapestry of information, offering insights into the history, culture, and anecdotes about the city's landmarks. The synchronized narration with the passing scenery enhanced our understanding of Kuala Lumpur's transformation into a modern metropolis while keeping us engaged throughout the tour. The open-top bus was not only a feast for the eyes but also a comfortable and convenient mode of transportation. The well-designed seating allowed for optimal views, and the frequent stops at key attractions allowed us to explore noteworthy sites up close. The friendly and accommodating staff ensured a seamless and enjoyable experience. Kuala Lumpur City of Lights on the open-top bus is a must-try experience for anyone seeking a mesmerizing nocturnal adventure. From the glittering skyline to the immersive audio commentary, every element of the tour was meticulously crafted for a memorable evening. Don't forget your raincoats – they might just be the key to unlocking an enchanting, rain-kissed experience as you witness Kuala Lumpur light up the night in all its glory.

Come early but seat with open area are full. They didn't tell us that the top open area are half only, not all open. So the rest who cant make it, have to seat on close space like normal bus. So it soo frustrated expecially the children. The aircond also warm. So it really spoiled the mood the night, plus the chinese family talking n laugh so loud like they own the bus. Not recommended, unless u willing to Q for the bus 2-3 hrs earlier. Super regret night.

We had high hopes for the Night Tour but unfortunately it turned out less than ideal. The bus departed sooner than the schedule. To get a seat on the top open part of the bus is basically down to luck. If you don’t find a place there then your experience will be similar to taking a normal bus but having paid 5x as much. Would not recommend. Take the sky train or the free bus at night and save some money.

This bus tour was inexpensive and covered a lot of ground within KL. I was pleased with the overall tour as it allowed us all to see a wide range of locations within a short period of time. It felt, though, like the route was fairly circuitous and repetitive, and could have been more streamlined. The commentary was interesting and made it more enjoyable. I would suggest this tour to others.

Due to my short visit in KL & decided to hop-on & off to save time & able to explore the overall of city. The double deck bus was nice & clean with air conditioning . The total 2 hours and 30 minutes & 19 stops. Pretty comfortable for sight seeing! I would recommend for those who have little time, with children or elderly. This is the best option! The bus fare has 2 prices local & tourist. ( tourist has to pay double approximately).

Fantastic Hop-On Hop-Off Experience with Ronda-Ronda KL I recently had the opportunity to explore Kuala Lumpur with the Ronda-Ronda KL hop-on hop-off bus, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. Here are the reasons why I would give it a four-star rating: 1. Comprehensive Route: The Ronda-Ronda KL bus covers a wide range of attractions and landmarks in Kuala Lumpur. It provided a comprehensive route that allowed me to conveniently visit all the popular tourist spots. From iconic landmarks like the Petronas Twin Towers to cultural sites such as the National Museum, the bus covered it all. I appreciated the flexibility to hop on and off at various stops to explore at my own pace. 2. Informative Commentary: The onboard commentary provided valuable information about each stop and the city's history and culture. The commentary was informative, engaging, and enhanced my understanding of Kuala Lumpur's significance. It truly added value to the journey. 3. Frequency and Timeliness: The Ronda-Ronda KL buses ran at regular intervals, ensuring minimal waiting time at each stop. I never had to wait long for the next bus to arrive, which was convenient and allowed me to stick to my itinerary. The buses adhered to their schedules, and I appreciated their timeliness. Although my experience with the Ronda-Ronda KL hop-on hop-off bus was generally excellent, there are a few areas for improvement. Firstly, the frequency of buses during peak hours could be increased to accommodate a larger number of passengers. In conclusion, the Ronda-Ronda KL hop-on hop-off bus provided a fantastic way to explore Kuala Lumpur's attractions. Its comprehensive route, informative commentary, timeliness, and friendly staff made for an enjoyable journey. I would highly recommend this service to tourists who want a convenient and flexible way to discover the city's highlights. With some minor enhancements, it has the potential to reach a five-star rating.

Pleasant experience indeed! We redeemed the tickets bought during MATTA Fair last year. Good package for 2 adults 2 kids/seniors. Recommended going early morning. The openair seats upstairs usually occupied. And the experience really amazing! Felt a bit like rollercoaster ride... Towards noon..its very hot so best to bring along cap/hat/sunglasses. The whole day journey (without stopping) would take about 2 hours. The staff said the bus will last pickup at each pit stop by 4.30pm. Late afternoon the roads start to jam, and busses will be fully occupied. Need to stand throughout. Hope the management will revise the routes and places of interests bcause some may not be that iconic.

Some of the buses were older and very dirty outside, others alright. Took a long time to get between stops, even during non-peak times on the road. Tour information was minimal, especially for the price. Good if you just want to get an overall idea of what there is to see in KL. If there are a couple of you, it's cheaper and more comfortable just got get Grabs to the locations you want to actually see. Staff were all very friendly though, no problems there.

Really bad. We booked our tickets online and there was no explanation that we needed to go to the counter to claim the tickets again. Luckily, we asked in advance when we arrived at the mall early for shopping. The staff at the counter are not friendly. The departure time is 8pm, but the staff asked us to line up at 7pm. They sold more tickets than there were seats available outside. We were forced to sit inside the bus. My kids were really disappointed with this night tour. Definitely NOT recommended.

Well it's cheap and that's probably about all that's about it yes for about £7 you get 2 days on 2 routes but the drivers consistently stop for 10 minutes at most stops without anyone getting on or off So annoying after a short time And when they are not stopped at a bus stop they are stopped at traffic lights As they are the only service if you want a tourist bus you haven't got a lot of choice You will see the sights but Just don't expect to much

In order for u to have seat on open deck its better to queue 30 minute or earlier. The KL scenery at night are wonderful. Everyone should try.

It was great! You can hop-on and hop-off near major sightseeing spots. The bus operates till 6 pm and arrives every 30 mins (plus-minus), so basically you can enjoy sightseeing for the whole day. The whole course (20 stops) will take about 2 hours. There's an open deck upstairs and an air-conditioned area downstairs as well as upstairs.

Easy to purchase tickets at the kiosk in Bukit Bintang (stop #1). The bus had an open top but also a shaded area on the second floor in case you didn't want to be in the sun. We did it on our first day and it gave us a good idea of the city and where we wanted to visit again after. The full tour took about 2h. Tickets are valid for 24 or 48h which means that if you buy it at 3pm on Monday, the ticket is valid until 3pm on Tuesday so you could use it again on your second day. Negatives: The guide didn't share almost any information about the places being visited and when they did, their accent was so strong that we couldn't understand anything. Most of it was 'on your left is this building' and that was about it. I expected a 2-hour guided tour of the city with interesting information. You also don't need a person to do this live, I wouldn't have minded a pre-recorded message as long as it was informative and in a clear accent.

No social distancing in bus ! A complaint about was made to the bus driver and guide but they still went ahead on the trip. Seriously not worth it. The night tour was not worth it especially when raining. You cannot see anything. The 3 stops (KL Tower, Istana, Masjid Jamek) were 5 mins only from a distance. The commentary should be recorded, the commentator spoke awful English, no one understood a word. Really not at all as my experience with other country’s Hop On Hop Off. Note: Just take the GoKL services . They are free. For the rest, take Grabcar/ e-hailing service/ package from hotel .

Went here for kl city of lights promo. Was satisfied. Just wished they'd published a schedule and they would stick to it. I got mixed info from them. Called them to ask what time do we board. The guy on the phone said 8pm, but need to come at 6.30-ish to redeem the actual ticket. So i queued but it was only until 7 they started the process. About the attractions.. Nothing worth shouting about. The day i went, it was raining so i couldn't take as many photos i would've like.

You literally have 24 hours to enjoy the hop-on hop-off tour. We started with the garden route then continued with the city route the next day. Garden route is more direct and straight forward while the city route is circuitous and had us riding in circles. We started at bukit bintang at 9am at about 10:30am we passed by bukit bintang again. At the national palace stop, the bus gave us 8 minutes to take photos before proceeding to the next stop. At the chinatown stop, we waited for about 40 minutes before a bus came for us to hop-on. Below are some of the photos taken along the bus route.

Definitely worth the price (MYR55 per person for 24h)!. It takes you to all the main touristic attraction + some less known but really really nice places. The bus runs two routes (red & green) and the maximum you wait between two buses is 30 minutes. I would highly recommend if it's your first time in KL.

Worth experienced. Got 2 different route (garden and city) route, you can use the your ticket to both route. For easy access and easy to exchanged the route, you can take the bus from KL Bukit Bintang Kiosk, located near and outside Sungai Wang Plaza. You can park your car at this plaza, or you can take monorail bukit bintang to go here.

(Translated by Google) We were in Kuala Lumpur during the hot season - it feels like every day more than 40 degrees. In such an environment, the presence of an air-conditioned compartment on the second floor of the bus saved. It maintains a comfortable temperature and offers a good overview. You can take a photo. Or go out into the open, take a photo and quickly return to a comfortable environment. I thank the organizers for taking care of the passengers!

We came early, few people are ahead of us. Not really clear on the queue. To get into the bus it's not based on first come first serve. If u happen standing in front u can select ur seat, offcourse everyone rushing for the outdoor upperdeck. No civilise queuing, hence why rating 1. No matter how early u come, if u not hustle no upperdeck for u.

Great value. Did the night tour which gives a different view of Kuala Lumpur, all good. Tour is not in english but that's not an issue as the views speak for themselves. The bus will stop for a few minutes at each viewing point so you have the opportunity to hop off for a picture and hop back on. Lasts approximately 2 hours
