Cafe Coffee shop Dessert shop Japanese confectionery shop

🫤 Giving this review with a heavy heart, I think overall the food is a bit dry, but the price point is on par with the other Japanese restaurants. People often mention Japanese, good, menu, nice, cafe, taste, dessert, price, portion, Nice,

This cafe is located at first floor of the shop lot. I reached here for lunch on Sunday, the place very quiet. It has limited seating capacity and menu selection. Foods generally taste not bad. Taro pudding quite nice. Crew were friendly and very proactive in servicing the customers.

Place: A bit old & worn out, needed some touch-up where necessary. Service: Okay but can be better, Maxis has very poor line over there even checking in with MySejahtera has some problem, so using their online menu is useless. Food: Overall, taste so-so, small portion, considered expensive for that kind of portion & quality (RM11 for only 3 pieces of tamagoyaki plus they’re not even freshly made, they’re pre-made & put into fridge to be served later cold), fried ebi is too hard & over cooked making the prawn flesh too hard, dry & rubbery, drinks were okay with some foam art but nothing to shout about, and again their dessert is a bit overly priced (RM20 for 2 scoops of ice-cream, 2 & a half pieces of tiny dango dumplings, a dab of sweet red bean paste!). Presentation: Okay nice & cute but that’s all Price: I think they try to follow Japanese standard price over here. (I spent RM119 here that day) Better off elsewhere: Yayoi Malaysia, Papasan Canteen 食堂, Cafe Yamatatsu 山達小舖

I'm knowing this Japanese home cook from Musang King YouTubers and looking forward come over to try for so long. Finally during winter solstice came over because their tong yun super cute until I stand it 🤣. I had the Salmon Ochazuke Set I love it so much. My favourite dish. Japanese curry rice also not bad. You can eat their love of preparing the food. I'm sure will visit again this homecook Japanese cafe. I would suggest the owner improve their menu with nice printing material, no need to fancy just easy for customer to understand what are the signature dishes is more than enough.

The ambiance is good, the udon is not lacking in flavor. The rainbow cake is beautiful. The drinks are good too. And the best thing I like about this place is that there are very few customers and well mannered staffs/owner?. You guy's gotta try out this place.

Not big on the menu variety and opens from 11AM to 6PM. The quality of food is definitely high, but so is the price. However the menu design is a little weird such as a kimchi with a Japanese set. Limited seating. Very nice ambience and homely feel.

The cafe’s environment is very cozy and serene. What a good place to relax and hang around for their signature dessert which is the Signature Taro Ice Ball. Without a doubt, it’s satisfying to try a unique dessert like this. Not to forget, the service from the waitress is good too as she’s very friendly.

My 1st time and my final visit to this place. Over priced ,food taste so so. With the price like that I can get very nice and good portion in rakuzen. I ordered spring set which consist of 4 finger size chicken ball,2 pcs deep dried scallop,1table spoon size of potato salad,5 pcs of my thumb size cucumber,a bowl of hot miso soup and a small bowl Japanese white rice cost rm26. Also ordered salmon ochasuke which consist of 2 tiny teddy bear shape rice,1 table spoon portion of salmon, cucumber which is more than the spring set and a tiny pot of green tea to eat with cost rm24. Environment wise very disappointed. Looks very empty door simply patch with a purple colour fabric on it and some dunno where they get the A4 size poster patch on the wall. Must talk super soft otherwise the empty space will have loud echo then everyone can hear what you say. Over priced, tiny portion, food taste 😖 去不去你们自己看着办。

They have Cutesy items. Matcha and taro ice balls; interesting but for me its too sweet with too little milk. Thankfully they were kind enough to refill my milk twice. Salmon ochazuke; tea is kinda bland but after mixing the roasted sesame its pretty good. Overall decent place to have a meal/drink.

A bit disappointed compared to my first visit, yes they slightly renovated but the seats are way lesser and not as comfy as before. It was very warm. Menu so much lesser as well compared to before. Hope they bring back the cold noodles. Agree that the price wise are expensive

Nice place, but the matcha yakult is not really a nice combo for me, the taste cant really combined together 🥲 Love the Taro ice balls so much, but the sweet potato cheese cake taste is not what i expected, taste kinda hard...

Loved this purple ice latte and presentation, it was refreshing and tasty too. Did not try the meals, price seems a way higher from the market price range. Some parts on the wall need to be improved as it gives impression of run down a bit or not maintained as paper pictures just simply roughly taped, if charging that high price for the meal. Overall, I enjoyed the drink and cozy, quiet space, good that its not noisy like other trendy cafes. I want to come here again to try other drinks like macha.

The place and food were unique and sooo cuteeeee !!! But the place is small and not that spacious. I went there with my friends at morning so there aren't many people in cafe. But the parking is quite hard to get tbh there. My friends and I parked at car parking which need to pay.

Chilling place for hi tea with friends. The best part about this cafe is, it's not crowded and noisy. Offer some very unique drinks, which you must come to try yourself. p/s: owner is very diligently in sanitizing the table after customer left during this pandemic.

Quiet, cozy and contemporary. A great end to a hectic Sunday with delicious food. AKa cafe does not have a lot of offerings on its menu but what they do offer, the do it really well. Items on the spring menu were pricier than their counterparts on the main menu. Sakura bento was well prepared. The only item that we could not get in the bento from the main menu was the Sakura inspired onigiri (rice ball). The dango paired with red bean and matcha was executed really well. The only thing I would add to their already wonderful set of menu would be more choice of teas. At present, only one grade of sencha, genmaicha and houjicha are available. For big eaters, you might need to order more than one portion as their portion is smaller compared to the usual franchises like Rakuzen

Atmosphere is very calming, quiet and tidy. Has a very nice Japanese ambience. Service was great. Food was good, too. Matcha Latte is nice and the Bento set portions were rather large. Goma pudding was not too sweet and texture was very smooth and silky. The taro ice balls is a must try item on their menu! Overall, very good experience and definitely coming back next time! :-) :-) :-)
