Went here for birthday celebration, great vibe!! Despite full house, the waiter are attentive and food arrived on time. Food is also delicious and have nice portion. You can also request for private room for gathering/hangout/karaoke. Highly recommended :)

Good food, great ambience, greater service. They have good menu choices and most importantly, they can cater good vegetarian options too. Give your orders earlier before you go for a smoother experience on the course menu. Staff Omar have been friendly and went extra mile with some suggestions for the birthday dinner (turning the desserts Into a cake sort of this g with candles etc). Overall very worth for the amount you pay. Ambience and service is definitely 5star.

Excellent ambient and good food. The breakfast is German bakery while dinner is a full course menu. The bread is excellent, not to mention the German sausages are so yummy. Getting to the location is a bit confusing thru a really small road. But there is amble parking space once you arrive at the restaurant.

Fine dining price without fine dining service. Food portions were small, taste just okay nothing exceptional. Juice was a joke, it was served in a very small glass not match with the price and doesn’t taste fresh at all. Waiters were not so attentive and need to recall few times for orders. Was double charged on the bill, better to carefully check on what you’ve paid.

We ordered a hawaiian pizza, lamb shank without bone, chicken brisket, pumpkin and mushroom soup, fried chicken. And we top it off with cristal champagne from lucerne airport. Atmosphere was excellent except the food was less. They hv a lot of rooms but a bit antique to our likings. A transformed restaurant from old bungalow.

Wonderful ambience and very cosy colonial setting. Staffs were attentive. Ordered 5 course meal of spicy lamb shanks and Australian beef. The lamb was well marinated. However, was surprised when l was not asked how I wanted my beef done. Always preferred medium rare but this was well done. Overall food was good and presentation was excellent and my guests and I enjoyed our dining experience with Bungalow 37.

Celebrated this year’s Father’s Day with a beautiful breakfast (a treat by one of our daughters); we like the restaurant’s setting and ambiance, and their topnotch German breakfast offerings in addition to their wonderful customer service with abundance of car parking place nearby within a short walking distance. Will return for a dinner which we heard were even better with good spread!

Love the foods there! Meat r well cooked & well-seasoned. The place is soo stunning with such a great ambience and have that luxury & exclusive feels. Perfect for date night or when u just wanted to have fun with friends. Fully booked when I was there but the waiters are all very helpful. Would definitely come again for both the foods & the vibes

What a wonderful lunchtime experience we had on Christmas day. Food was good, service was amazing and the ambience rounded off the whole experience for the 5 of us. Thank you for having us and looking after us like VIPs...made it all the more memorable for us.

A very beautiful restaurant that you can dine in at. They serve good western cuisines and the environment was pretty cool. Its a very old bunglow that was renovated and they have alot of other amenities there. Food was good, should try their mutton pizza and Chicken Alfredo pasta. Overall it was a good experience, the staffs were very friendly and polite. Mr. SAM was one of the person that I would like to highlight as he was coming to our table from time to time to check if everything is alright. A very kind person he was to show us around the place. Definitely will go again to this restaurant.

It was an unplanned visit to this restaurant. The owner is very friendly taking orders from us, the food is not too expensive, and food it's quite nice, their sausage has a bery strong and nice fragrance, portion is good too, had an enjoyable evening dinning here.

There were hits and misses with food - the one recommended would be their striploin steak and it was cooked to perfection. The establishment has several private rooms even to cater for those who would like to host company event. Ambience was good for that special celebration(every table of that night was a birthday celebration) the only thing would be the AC wasn't cooling enough as it was full house that night. Service staff were attentive and courteous!

Came with high expectations, not disappointed. Set in an old house, with lots of nice plants and trees. Decor is a bit eclectic, but is a matter of personal taste (I like it). Food is good. Enjoyed the starters like the crispy fried prawns and mini crabs. The prawns in garlic oil was also tasty. Had the grouper - a fusion style dish, leaning a bit more Asian. The roasted lamb rack was juicy and tender. The desserts were excellent. Had the tiramisu and chocolate cremeux, with my favourite being the salted caramel cookie cake. Staff was very friendly and joined in celebrating my birthday. Service was tip top. Highly recommended.

Elegant vibe, I really love it. The service is just tip top, the food recommendation was good. The taste and essence of the food is just great! I especially appreciate a good service from all the waiter specially the leader. When to Bunglow37 to celebrate my wife birthday. They upgrade us to private room and the room is so nice. Food is nice and good ambient atmosphere. Would like to thanks so much to the staff. They are very friendly and good service.

Highly recommended! Their customer service and food also amazing. Reserved the table n surprise cake via phone, their staff were polite and helpful. We ordered seafood pasta and chicken Alfred pasta . Our food and ambience also amazing. Once i texted, they quickly brought in the cake and sing , they also provided complimentary drinks. 4/5

PSA : it functions with two concepts. German themed during the daytime and general European at night. It's interesting. This is a quaint restaurant nestled literally in the middle of nowhere (as far as Bangsar is concerned). I wouldn't have ventured into this area if not for the restaurant. The seating place is a little tight. Modified from a dwelling, I am not surprised. Not as much space to move around as you would expect of a restaurant. I ordered a few dishes to try out since it was my first time. And I was genuinely surprised. They were well cooked and superbly flavored. The speed which food arrived was also impressive. The prawn was well fried and the olive oil was generous, delicious with a tone of spiciness. Both soup tasted full bodied and yummy. The spaghetti was a little under spiced for aglio olio but mouth watering all the same. The octopus was incredibly cooked. Tender and not rubbery. Excellent accompanying gravy. However, I wasn't impressed with the fried chicken wing. Granted, it came freshly fried and piping hot. However I found the batter taste off balance. Fortunately I ended up with 2 delicious dessert. The tiramisu was superb and the ice cream refreshing. All in all, I had a good meal and the waiters were friendly and efficient. It was a fun experience and an enjoyable meal.

It was a good experience. We went when there were other events held there. Apparently, their space is quite popular for events. They have a separate place for events than can fit around 120 pax. So parking can be an issue. Do call and reserve a car spot, by telling them Yr number plate. Weird, but if it's full, parking can be an issue. We were there for dinner and had a good experience. Food was good and unique. We had the set meals and it was well thought out. The staff were attentive and I must say, very motivated. It's nice to see happy and motivated staff. Even their valets were friendly and helpful. Shows good things about the management. Kudos.

Best Apple Strudel with loaded apple slices. Top up extra cream and it tastes lovely. The Bavarian sausages is average. The bread selection is good and fresh. Goulash tastes good too, would be better if they served it slightly hotter (as in higher temperature). Will return to try other dishes.

Celebrated my BF’s birthday here and we had a very pleasant night. The food is good, the vibe is even better. They offer complimentary simple decor with petals and candle and birthday song played while bringing the cake. But my BF is shy so we requested no singing haha 😂 Bob is very attentive and helpful, always has his smile on and takes lots of photos for us :) Overal, good experience, def recommend.

Made a dinner reservation online, fairly straightforward. Restaurant called a day before to reconfirm. Parking was available inside as well as a nearby parking lot. Restaurant was intimate, pleasant interiors. Staff were lovely, even though there were a few in training but were very polite. We had arranged for a cake to be delivered to the restaurant for a friend’s birthday and there was no issue - our friend even got a birthday mocktail on the house! They had a three, four and five course dinner that was very reasonably priced, and food was good. Dessert portions were bigger than expected. Would recommend!

Stumbled upon this place for a last minute birthday lunch. Contacted them in whatsapp to book reservations and made special request for birthday, everything was handled smoothly by the staff. Staff named Mr Towid (if not mistaken) was very friendly and gave us a tour around the bungalow explaining the services and showed us each private rooms available. Food was not bad but could be improved. Would repeat just for the hospitality!! Overall great experience. BTW THE CAKE WAS SOO GOOD!!

Went for lunch. Overall experience is good. Staff is friendly and attentive. Mushroom soup: 5/5. however the breadcrumbs is not that crunchy Pan smeared halibut (no snapper on stock): 3/5. Fish is alright but the sauce is very salty. Salted caramel cake was nice. 5/5

Love the atmosphere although can be a bit dark at some corners which pretty hard to read the menu. They have bith ala carte n dinner set n their dinner set is worth it as overall. Ala carte can be on the high side for M40 std. Service can be further improved; gave a basket of bread n 3 servings of butter for 6 pax? Plain water was not poured to glasses until we asked them, no refill of plain water until we asked them. Food wise was ok. Nothing spectacular though. Overall, u pay for the environmemt actually.

Love their decorations, very Christmas feeling. I tried their 7 courses set, food quality is great, however, their desserts could be better for this price. They have power shortage issue during the dining period, but they manage to have the power back in time. Also, their staffs are very friendly and provide good services.

Great vibe to this place- aesthetically done and well maintained given its history. The food and service were a real dampener. We stopped at tapas itself as the food prep was mediocre, tasted uneven and was served in abysmally small portions for the price. The staff seemed a bit lost and perhaps knowledge of the menu is something they must be trained on.

I came here to have company Christmas party on 9 Dec. Never thought the house design is like that (cannot figure out from the outside). Interior design is like a restaurant scene from 70s movie in the western. I enjoyed all the food, all so fresh and tasty! But some colleagues said the mushroom soup is kinda salty. I love the strawberry soda too. The place comes with audio system, we sang karaoke by connecting to PC.

Food is good, service is friendly but the atmosphere is superb. They have individual gathering privacy room and theme. Good for gathering place or host a small party or event. One of their room even have karaoke. Plenty of parking space beside the Bunglow provide by them. Recommended the Jambu Sour drink.

First thing is definitely Parking. There is a free parking lot beside the Bungalow which makes it easy rather than finding a parking spot in Bangsar. The ambiance of the place is nice. Gives that old English vibe and service is top notch. Can’t deny one of the best customer service by far in KL. Mushroom soups - 6/10 Garlic prawns - 9/10 Beef short ribs - 7/10 Cocktails - 8/10 The price of the food is kinda expensive and doesn’t not feel it’s worth the price that we pay. All of the above dishes cost me RM 310 which I guess I could have had a better and filling dish out there

Yesterday night, I came with a group of senior citizens celebrating 70th Birthday. The senior citizen group of 14 people already had their group orders before. Therefore I’m the only one who’s ordering food yesterday night. I ordered seafood bisque, fried chicken wings and spiced lamb shank. After my orders, I was out nearby taking photos. When I came back to my table with the group, I realised and told by one of the waiter named Sultan that my soup is mixed and given away to the senior Citizen group. I asked the waiter again, why is it mixed to them and not given to me. He said it’s already mixed but the order supposed to be mine and I’m the only one ordered seafood bisque. There weren’t any apologies or reimbursement for their service staff mistakes. I think it’s very ridiculous service given to me at these prestigious bungalow 37 establishment. I didn’t get to try the soup I paid for it. The fried chicken was alright nothing extraordinary. My spiced lamb shank which I didn’t taste anything spicy, lamb shank was dry, bland and not tender, quite tough. Vegetables given with the lamb shank wasn’t appetising and soft at all. Overall, I’m priced around RM195 for 3 course which my soup was given to others, ok edible fried chicken and for me it became over-priced unenjoyable spiced lamb shank. My entire time there was feeling warm that I had to use my own hand fan to cool down too. What an experienced in such prestigious establishment! Bravo! 👏

I had lunch here with my colleagues (for Christmas celebrations) and the overall experience was great! The food was excellent. We went for the Christmas three-course meal with dessert at the end. The only area that was lacking was the wait between courses, which felt awkwardly long.

Booked the terrace area for a birthday and anniversary celebration for 8 pax. The view during sunset was nice, and the place is cosy and private since we had the whole place to ourselves most of the time. Downside about the terrace area is there is a washroom at the end of the area, the customers from the lounge section will pass through the terrace area to get to the washroom. However that is not a big issue for us. Service there is great. I communicated with them via WhatsApp to book and arrange cakes to be sent directly to the restaurant. The staffs are friendly and attentive. They even explained to us about the place and their history. Even though there was a wedding on the same night, it did not feel too crowded, and parking can be easily found. You can also get valet service at RM8 just in front of the restaurant. Their food is presentable and taste good. Their desserts are delicious too. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Stumbled on this gem of a place tucked away at the end of Jalan Abdullah in a gorgeous, beautifully restored bungalow. You'll be greeted with warm vibes from the friendly & attentive staff the moment you enter. The delicious, heartwarming food is made from quality fresh produce. On our 5th visit we recently attended a special 8 course tasting menu for my cousin's 50th, which was a lovely treat. A great place for a big or small gathering to celebrate a special event, or simply for a down to earth meal in a quiet leafy setting. I hope this restaurant becomes a mainstay in the area as it's fast becoming our go-to place.

Drive around the area and found this hidden place at the corner. Nice ambiance and good food portion. Mentioned to the Manager we are first time here and had a short history tour to the Bungalow. A good place to try on if looking for unique dinning experience. Recommend to try their Garlic Prawnz one of the best in the town.

The place is really nice. The roof tables have a beautiful sunset view. The food is of good quality and taste. The menu is typical of a boutique restaurant with few but good choices.

Beautiful place w great ambience & good service - great for special occasion/celebration. Ordered a 3-course set & an Ala carte pizza. Was served complimentary bread, and they split the soup from the course meal to 2 bowls for each of us as well. Lamb was done just right - the meat slides off the bone when pulled. Cocktails were great - enjoyed my Daiquiri. I’m a little unsure about the pizza - although it’s chicken satay pizza it tasted almost like peanut butter. All in all a nice place, we enjoyed our meal :)

We tried the Merdeka promotion which was value for money. The grouper was pan fried with very buttery Aroma. We had mushroom soup with fragrant garlic bread. The lamb shank had a very nice herby flavor and goes well with the quinoa. I liked my apple salad with blue cheese. Seafood pasta had generous portion of seafood. The sorbet was nicely paired with ginger flower aka Bunga kantan. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The place is lovely and 'Instagram worthy'.

Nice ambiance and good portion of food although on the pricey side expected from a place situated in Bangsar. Service very good and staff very hospitable and showed us around since it was our first visit. Parking is free next door with a very short walk to restaurant. Lamb kurma definitely a must try.

Its like secret hide out but it's a hidden gem. Amazing ambience and view. Didn't realize a old bungalow can be modified like this. Amazing. Nice food and drinks. Lot of variety in dinner menu. Food and cocktails presentation is beautiful. It's an amazing place to gather and spend time with friends. Staffs are very prompt in response and friendly. Private rooms are beautifully designed and great colour combinations. They have a huge parking lot for enough cars to park.

Before came here, read a lot of their reviews. There are good & bad.To me, its a good experience. Found good food & good service crews.most of them are good in courtesy, manner especially guys.The one serves me & my friend call Sam.He really friendly & helpful. He explained thing in detail to us.Luckily he suggest us to order 1 big breakfast 1st as their portion is big.if we not enough then can order again.Wow!! We are shocked, the portion really big...I never expect this size.The end both of us can't finish it.I am a big eater especially when I saw bread & cold cut but I have to surrender this time.May be my friend did not eat much. I like everything on my table - yummy. They really put customer in 1st place , not just wanna earn your money.let you order eventhought know you won't finish it. Really appreciate it. Im quite greedy one, I even take out their signature -Apple strudel.My personal of taste.This is a bit too sour(apple) to me.Its delicious but if it could add a bit sweetness to neutral back the sourness then it will be more perfect. Been to Bungalow 37 for a few times. We like the German's all day breakfast platter - with assorted breads, cheese and luncheon meats. The hot chocolate is to die for 😋 #t3ttraveltips: You can park infront of the Bungalow 37 building for RM5 valet fee only.
