Phenomenal experience here at Sabayon - I have been to many good restaurants in KL and Sabayon is definitely a new top favourite of mine. Upscale modern interior and lovely ambiance, coupled with a stunning unobstructed view of the twin towers, which some other fine dining spots in KL no longer have. Food was delicious and up to standard, portions were just right and it did not feel like there wasnโ€™t enough to eat (which can often be the case with fine dining). We ordered the 3 course set for three people priced at RM378 per person. Our bill including drinks came up to about RM1.7k. Keep in mind that reservations require a RM100 deposit per person for normal tables, and a RM300 deposit per person for window tables. Overall I really enjoyed our dinner here - incredible fine dining spot in KL, one of the better ones and I would absolutely recommend coming here!

Went there for my birthday celebration on a weekday. The food was up to standard and the ambience was cozy with Twin Tower view. The service was excellent. We received 2 complimentary cocktails from EQ. The waitress explained how the food will be cooked and the origins of the ingredients. She also offered to take pictures for us and printed out the picture to make a birthday card for me. How thoughtful! After dinner, she also guided us to the bar which has a stunning view of KL city and again offered to take pictures for us. Her attitude is professional and friendly all the time ๐Ÿ˜Š Overall, we had a wonderful experience here.

Very good fine lining foods service here and with the high quality wines. Environment so grand and service is perfect. Taste good foods with a nice view. Life is so enjoyable. Easy access and available car park in the building.

Background The restaurant is on the 51st floor, offering a stunning view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. Ambience The ambience was amazing. Dine with a beautiful view of the Twin Towers and an elegant, fancy atmosphere. Service The service at Sabayon was attentive and prompt. Food Kudos for having vegetarian option. Favourites of the night are the cawamushi-inspired dish and the al dente risotto. Food was a bit pricey for what it was, and it lacked a certain je ne sais quoi. Overall It is an acceptable location for celebration if you are looking for a great ambience and view with impeccable service

Often came here for the lunch sets for work lunches, this time visiting during the weekend, on Sunday. At the time of visit, they offered "Rothschild Buffet Lunch". As the photos shown, you can have repeated choice of menu (if I understood correctly, every menu items except lobster which is limited to one person each). The meal ended with a very huge "Art on the Table" dessert (see photos). I personally enjoyed the Hokkaido scallop with purple sea grass. Lobster soup and the lobster were too salty for personal liking. Out of four oysters, 3 were extremely fresh except for one---look out for the colour before you chose to consume, and you can request to change for a fresher choice of oysters. It cost RM288 per adult before service charge. Overall a nice dining experience with great view, recommended for a special date, even during the day.

Food is fantastic, fine dining with Michelin Lin standard. Thumbs up and full compliment to the chef! Environment, outlook, vibe and deco is awesome! They even help you to keep your present, boutique and stuff for any special occasion and surprise. However, not happy when first reach as I paid for the reservation but they never call me before release my table. Asked about why release table and answer is I must reach restaurant within 30 minutes but such policy never mention in any form (receipt, email, etc) beforehand and suddenly said got such thing. In the end I need to wait for 20min before I got the table. Not my expectation for one of the best fine dining restaurant at Malaysia. Hopefully management can take this serious. Dear Sabayon, please show me the proof where you shared with me the grace period and policy along the way I make reservation and paid for the deposit. I really feel unhappy with such pointing finger attitude that you keep saying you have policy BUT YOU NEVER SHOWED ME!??? I NEED ANSWER ELSE ONE STAR IS WHAT YOU GET AS PER YOUR MANAGEMENT HANDLING METHOD.

A place suit for occasion as staffs are friendly and food serving with no delay. The staff noticed my wife in cold and serve her a hot water just in time and manager constantly check any request from customer in dining time. Their menu changes in monthly based on the festival falls in the month to customise the food. The only improvement is the dining space overall is not spacious so you may surrounded by noise during dine in.

We had our retreat dinner here just last week. I chose the Classic with foie gras, wagyu and tiramisu, and it was absolutely delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was awesomely relaxing, the service was excellent. Highly recommended for an unforgettable fine dining experience.

What we like: - Excellent view of Petronas Twin Towers. After dinner, we were invited to the roof top for the splendid view. A staff patiently took pictures for us. - Quiet ambience that evening, which was a great improvement from a previous visit when there was a noisy crowd - Convenient WhatsApp communication regarding booking. RM100 deposit is reasonable. Staff was clear about terms & conditions, and very accommodating on special requests - Our table ordered the Classic menu. Most dishes were delicious, except the bread and wagyu A5 mentioned below What can be improved: - Final confirmation for no. of pax was noted in WhatsApp yet incorrect when first guest arrived - Not attentive to refilling water for guest - Overall, service during dining was not attentive and warm enough - Bread was way too hard so none of us could finish it - Table was filled with crumbs from the hard bread but cleaning was done only before dessert - Guests felt the A5 wagyu was not melt-in-the-mouth enough Overall, Sabayon has the potential to do even better.

Was there on last Sunday for Rothschild Sunday Roast to celebrate anniversary with my girlfriend. I'm very impressed with the service and hospitality provided. The food is fresh and delicious. The best part? You can refill everything from the menu. From oysters, caviar, lobsters, scallops. All food freshly cooks upon order and served at your table. Rothschild champagne is free flow too, if you choose for the highest package. Spoken with the PR manager, Ms Tiffany Chung and she is very kind to offer me hotel tour, but unfortunately my girlfriend has another appointment so we didn't proceed. But we will definitely back for hotel staycation and yummy food at Sabayon.

Overpriced and overrated restaurant. Iโ€™ve been in several fine dining restaurants and this one is worst so far. For 14.02 dinner they charged RM1500 for two people dinner. And basically 3 out of 6 dishes were desserts. The rest โ€œfoodโ€ was tiny (even for fine dining). And i had to go to another simple cafe to top up my belly.

I went there to celebrate my partners birthday and overall it was a pleasant experience. We requested for the window seats while booking online however we didnโ€™t manage to get it as itโ€™s subjected to availability. Youโ€™re also required to make a deposit in order to secure your reservation (we paid RM200 for 2 person). We ordered the 5 course menu and everything was great but we didnโ€™t manage to finish our bread as itโ€™s quite a big portion. We upgraded one of the mains to the A5 Miyazaki. It was wayyy better than the Black Angus Tenderloin imo. Sham was friendly and helpful throughout our meal, heโ€™s also a fantastic photographer! We wanted to go to the sky bar after our meal but unfortunately we were told that we have to make a booking first. So Iโ€™ll probably do that next time! Thanks again for the thoughtful card.

Food was not great, service was not up to par with high end fine dining place too. 4 course meal cost approx RM500 per person. No narrative with every dish, mocktail took forever to prepare. The only saving grace was the awesome view of KLCC tower. Great for photographs. Adjourned to the sky bar after the dinner and the waiter said ALL cocktails are not available anymore. Ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir also not available.

I do not think I'll be able to capture the entire experience in words, but I'll try my best. I decided to propose to my gf here. When making reservations, all the window seats were fully booked. After I told them the purpose of the reservation, they set up an additional window table just for us. When we arrived, we were greeted by Josselyn, our server for the night. Shout out to her for going above and beyond to make that night memorable. Josselyn, you really are the best. The view from the restaurant is very cool. The twin towers were illuminated in a purple pink lights for Deepavali. The food was amazing, from the start until the end. The wagyu and duck main course were the highlight of the course. After dinner, Josselyn offered to show us around the bar deck, so that we could take pictures. There, I had the perfect opportunity to propose, with the twin towers in the backdrop, and Josselyn helping me to capture the entire moment in a video. This was all her idea btw, that she suggested after I asked her if she could help with surprising my gf. After all that, she got us great seats at the bar, with complimentary drinks, AND a printed photograph of the proposal moment. The entire night was perfect. The perfect fiancee, perfect food, and perfect service. Thank you everyone at Sabayon, and thank you so so much Josselyn.

Celebrated my friendโ€™s birthday on a Sunday night. Seamless process and overall quality is top notch. I appreciate the prompt response upon sending my query via email(Thanks Najlaa) I will be back to try the sky bar as I only managed to dine in that night. Highly recommended for people who wants to celebrate a special occasion. Compared to other fine diners in KL, Sabayon Is an optimal choice for both quality + value.

The view from this place is breathtaking. Make plans to take lots of photos of KL's skyline. Reserve a table ahead of time as the place can get really crowded. We made plans to dine at the place but weren't able to as the dining area was fully booked. We ended up just drinking at the outdoor seating area but it was still a great well spent night.

One of the best place to have a drink and watch the sun set on Kuala Lumpur. i was at Bar 51 and not really Sabayon which is on the left side of the restaurant having drinks. The maitre d and the waiter here are attentive to you to a fault. Come here for the view and stay for the company and drink. They serve it well and the food from what I here are top notch too

I give them 4 stars for some of the food, really beautiful ambience and service. Service was very good and staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. Some of the food were okay and some were not up to standard. The only dish I find very good was the foie gras, done very nicely and paired with apple sauce and lentils. The starters were ok but not up to my expectations. The wagyu beef doneness was good but pairing with the Chinese dried veg was really a spoiler, you can just scrap that vege and the potato and beef will be totally fine on it's own (less is more). The braised beef cheek which was supposedly moist was a bit dry. The canale was ok and baba cake was definitely a fail, if you are not good in making cakes you may just serve us with sorbet or gelato with some fresh berries and plain cakes. The cheese platter was ok but the plain crackers were of low quality, you should get canape quality since we are paying a premium price dining there. I hope you improve on your food for my next visit in future.

Wonderful service. Thank you for treating us well. I haven't had a fine dining experience in a very long time. Choices of 3,5,7 course meals, as well as a tasting or "sensory" menu are available. Beautiful presentations and flavor was lovely. Keep this place in mind for a quiet, private evening and classy ambiance.

The food isn't that great for the price you pay, taste wise just pretty normal, nothing really impressive. For wine pairing they used all 4 glasses of the same type for champagne, white wine & red wine, didn't use specific type of glass for each kind of drinks. Honestly, you can get better umami taste at some non fine dine restaurants. Only thing that's spectacular was the view of KLCC from inside the restaurant. Service was also good.

We had a great experience. Lovely ambiance, good quality food and staff (Sham was great!). Great with friends/ for dates. Very formal place (chairs were pushed in by staff and napkins on lap) but friendly staff made the whole sit-down experience (for dinner) fun. All dishes were explained by staff. They loved our feedback as European guests on every course.

Elegant and stylish ambiance, Coffee was great, cocktails were strong ish which was great too. Wasnt a fan of the Amuse Bouche - tartare & foie gras. Tasted a tad bit too gamey. The mains were satisfyingly good. I very much like all 3 of them, the salmon, beef and the dry aged duck (crowd fav). Panna cotta was very light and airy great the end the night..

Food was spectacular, congratulations to the chef. BUT the service was the worst I have experienced in KL. Drinks arrived 1 hour after we were seated, order times are eternal, they are not attentive to our needs, there is no customer-waiter communication, they don't care about our needs, they don't know how to charge separate bills. We wanted to go to the bar and it took an hour for us to pay that bill. The price-service ratio is not only about the food or the luxury of a place, the service can be 60% of the experience. They are not clear about it, apparently they don't even care. You are losing a lot of money because of poor service. First time and last time we go to this place, luckily KL offers many other good options.

Overall experience was good. Ambiance was good and food is very decent. We enjoyed our time here. Although it was slightly interrupted in the middle when it seems that they we fixing the lightings (light was on, off, sudden bright, sudden dim). Another was during payment time where it took much longer than I would expect. Else overall is good.

Beautiful atmosphere, food was hit and miss, and service was average (servers were not very attentive, but it was a busy night) We had the alaskan king crab which was tasty but the foie gras had a strong fishy aftertaste and smell. Afterwhich, we had the minestrone soup was average. Our main was the A5 Wagyu Miyazaki which was heavenly and topped the meal off with strawberry sorbet and shortcake.
