The would not recommend this hotel. Not worth the money. The first room I stay in was unbearable due to the noise from train line next to the hotel. It woke me up in the morning and continues throughout the day every 10 minutes. I asked to change to a quieter room, I had to pay for a upgrade to another room in the other block. I was assured the was no noise from the train in this new room- complete lie. The noise was less but still disturbing. Also the ‘upgrade’ was the exact same room with and smaller bathroom and a sofa. Very disappointing. Also the soundproofing between rooms in non existent. You can hear everything from neighbours. No peace and all. Avoid this hotel and look elsewhere.

I stayed in the Cozy room. The space is huge and worth it for the price. Bathroom is a little smaller than usual. Amenities is average with only 3 in 1 coffee provided, toothbrushes, toothpaste and shower cap. Body wash and shampoo built in the bathroom. Hotel should improve on cleanliness. There are some mould in bathroom and room sofa doesn’t seemed to be clean frequently. But overall comfortable stay and beautiful hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Olympic Malaysia. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The bed was comfortable and the linens were soft and luxurious. I appreciated the attention to detail in the room, such as the complimentary snacks and beverages. The hotel's restaurant was also impressive with a wide variety of delicious food options to choose from. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning and the dinner options were equally satisfying. What truly sets Hotel Olympic Malaysia apart, however, is the exceptional service. The staff were always available to help with anything I needed, from arranging transportation to recommending local attractions. They made me feel valued and appreciated as a guest, and I can't thank them enough for their kindness and hospitality. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Olympic Malaysia to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay. The experience was truly exceptional, and I can't wait to return."

This is the second time of I stayed here, the environment was very nice. The price are affordable which is range RM100-RM200. The breakfast was only RM18.90/pax on weekend and cheaper on weekdays! Going to repeat to stay here 💕 If you want to find something instagrammable , you can go here 😘 Got free drinks also 🤘🏼 Parking only RM6.00 for hotel guest.

Great location. But need to do proper maintenance, the place needs a revamp cz it looks quite rundown for a relatively new hotel. Hygiene needs to be improved. Housekeeping left a towel from the previous guest in our room. Hand soap never topped up. Floor looks dirty but lucky they provided disposable slippers. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Keep it up!

Do not go to this hotel. The room was disgusting. There were hair everywhere and in the bathroom there were toothpaste and mold. The shower felt dirtier than MRT 🤢. There were multiple stain on the sheets. It is so dirty the floor is sticky. From the windows there is an other building so not much natural light. And room absolutely not sound proof. I booked 2 nights, left after 1. The only positive is the room is big and people are nice.

Good / not so bad rooms, good location for metro users only and not for those who use grab as it was far from major attractions, but service was average. The check in was very bad as i had to convince them that my tourism tax was paid as already mentioned in my voucher but the girl on reception demanded an email from my travel partner due to which I wasn’t allowed to check in for 1 hour which was not a sign of good service on part of the hotel. Also life wasn’t working most of the times so had to use stairs many a times and management was least responsible to look on these problems. Rest it was a hotel with just basic amenities. There are many such properties near to main attractions which could also be considered instead of this one.

The room is spacious, worth the price! The soundproofing isn't good, hope they'll do something about that. The interior is just beautiful. There's a cafe by the lobby but I haven't been there, maybe next time. There's an MRT station located right next to it, quite the convenience. Breakfast is not included in the room rate but you can purchase it at the reception. Will I come back again? Definitely yes!

Do not recommend! Everything is dated and worn and isn't properly maintained or cleaned well. Location: + Close to China town and Merdeka tower. - View is to the back alley and metro, which you can hear well, but wasn't disturbing to me. - Mosque wasn't exactly very near, but you could hear the prayer quite well. Common things: - Wifi speeds are okay-ish, though highly insecure with no password or login, make sure you have a VPN! - One of the elevator doors didn't close normally on certain floors which is concerning. - On the 5th floor the water dispenser was broken and cold water wasn't available. + Shop in the lobby with snacks was a nice addition! In the room: - Health concerns, there was slight mould in the bathroom between the tiles, the windows can't be opened (disabled) and there doesn't seem to be ventilation in the room besides the window gap. - Windows were dirty and also covered with dotted stickers which may help keeping the sun and heat out, but can't be opened like blinds or curtains making it hard to see out and much darker. - Pair of unwrapped, used and dirty slipper was left behind. - Furniture was dated and dirty. - Bedding smelled heavily of previous guest cologne, which was finally gone when sheets were changed after asking 3 times. Even the fresh bedding was questionable with strange stains that didn't wash out. Also staff that was sent wasn't told what the problem was and seemed annoyed to have to do the work. - Floor was furnished with cheap vinyl that had many scratches. - Chair was okay besides squeaking, yellow couch was so stained, they covered it with a carpet. All furniture with fabrics had loose threads hanging on the bottom. - Bathroom tap was painted over and started to come off. - Room door were not insulated, making every noise in the hallway and other rooms very well heard. - Towels were okay, albeit in need of replacing.

I was gonna give 5 star for all but room non sound proof. Kids running around during midnight can hear clearly and foot stomping very loud. Housekeeping cleaning also very loud and clear when they moved around the divan. Overall is 5 star. Suitable for family environment with younger kids.

Hotel is quite nice, looks like recently having a renovation. Main road leading to this hotel is affected by the construction activities. Quite congested during peak hours. Luckily Merdeka MRT Station is near. Parking available at the Hotel. Room is clean. Hotel decoration is nice. Kids will surely love it. Overall value for money.

Great place for internships. The environment was wonderful. I can learn a lot of things when working here. Also the office was neat. The place is also near mrt station where I can get easy access to public transport that was very strategic. The hotel also in the middle of Kuala Lumpur so it was easy to go to tourist attractions places. The food was also good at bluebird cafe. The cafe provide with staff discount for 40% which is very affordable. The office also provide the worker many things such as pc, phone, stationary and many more. Overall this place is very good👍

Not bad for a few nights stay. Meets the basic needs, clean and comfortable. The hotel is well decorated and lively~ Only downside is parking is not free, rm6 per day for guests. Have to keep validating at counter before driving out due to the tng system usage.

The room is ok, kids love it, but the towel is smelling.. the toilet is not clean. the kid bed looks dirty. The hotel location is just in front of the 118 tower, near the city center & train station. the room is non sound proof, you can hear the next room noise, outside the corridor when people are walking & the train until late night.

Everything was good. Hotel just beside pintu A merdeka mrt station. For breakfast its a good price for stay in Guest but maybe due to public holiday its a bit crowded. You need to wait for available seat. There a bit smell come from the toilet drain.

In my opinion the hotel is very comfortable to live in but the hotel management system is very weak, not systematic at all and the front desk is very impractical. Also, when we check in we should never wear any bracelets because my experience here is accused of wearing a pink bracelet which is a hospital bracelet that is suspected to carry Covid-19 infection while I wear a bracelet that is very different from the hospital bracelet. I hope after this the hotel makes some improvements in terms of the system and employees are more sensitive to their customers.

My 3rd visit and very disappointed. Sticky floor and noisy noises like someone running, scratching all night come from upper floor, can't sleep well. Bad services from reception. One of the staff, quite rude and unprofessional, keep saying she don't know because we booked from 3rd parties (Agoda)(include breakfast), but we didn't get it. The conservation quite unpleasant and she not saying sorry at all. Hope the hotel upgrade their services.

Staff was very unprofessional. My room booking (that was completely paid for in advance) was cancelled for no reason and I only came to know this upon arrival in hotel. Staff was not trying to resolve my issue and was just passing time. The hotel didn't have any reason for cancellation of paid booking. I had travelled after a long flight and in order to book a room, had to pay more than twice the original price for any available room (not what was booked) and was not as per liking. Definitely not recommended.

the view of the hotel from outside was good but the rooms are horrible. first the receiption gave us level 4 room 415 & 416. water heater not working. went to receiption and the reception said maintainces on the way look this matter. was half an hour waiting, maintainces not coming. went down again to receiption still saying the same thing. i asked where is your manager. the receiption saying not in today. i ask how come no manager in? the receiption say on leave. after i complain and ask how to solve the issue, the receiption change room to 411 & 412. for all your info guys. this are the things happen in the hotel. 1. room plug or switch for charging phone not working. 2. bathroom stink. got rusted on sink tap and toilet. 3. sleeping pillows are too flat. not comfortable. 4. no iron box in rooms.was outside beside lift got iron box. 5. asking deposit RM 100 per room if have damage claim but given us lousy is unacceptable. 6. the rooms not clean and hygiene.

The room was spacious, and the food was good, and it was available at a cheap price. However, the service was bad. I requested that my room be cleaned, but even after leaving the room for 2 hours, it was still messy and had not been cleaned. When I contacted the receptionist, they did not apologize and just made excuses, saying they would prioritize cleaning check-out rooms first. The ridiculous thing was that the time gap was over an hour. It's not good service if the management puts guests who stay for more than one night last on the priority list

So near to MRT merdeka, just besides the hotel. Easy access to public transport, spacious room with industrial design. Many guests also bring children, I think it's family friendly. And worth the price. The minus is that they didn't give tag for our bag in luggage room, and every body can access it, though it's safe but still

Staff was professional and kind, room was very clean and comfortable. Hot / cold water in the shower with very nice water pressure. Halls between the rooms were oddly painted all black and a bit dim. I paid a 100 RM deposit which was returned in full upon checkout. There was no fridge in the room, but you can request a bag of ice from the front desk for 1 RM. The hotel is accommodating in general. All meals served in the restaurant are halal, and must be booked a day in advance. They do not serve pork or alcohol. This whole area around the hotel is under construction, so be aware of that when planning your trip. It is extremely close to the MRT Merdeka station which can take you all over the wonderful city of Kuala Lumpur.

I had a delightful one-night stay at this strategically located hotel. It's conveniently close to the MRT Merdeka Station, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. The availability of hotel parking, RM6, was convenient. Overall, I was highly satisfied with my experience.

I came here for work purposes. I didn't book a room here. The hotel is outside the Mrt Merdeka Station. The hall is big and clean. It also had all of the equipment needed for a meeting. We got breakfast and lunch buffet. There are varieties of food that consist of malay and western cuisine.

When we got to our family room, there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. In the bathroom, we found a cigarette just freshly butted. We requested a new room, which after several hours we were given 2 small rooms. We had discovered that it was actually the cleaning guy who was using our bathroom & smoking (even the hotel has a strict policy/penalty for guests smoking in rooms) . In the end , our rooms were ok (in fact we thought the rooms were quite fine), but customer service certainly not. We thought they could have at least offered a bite or drink for our long wait, knowing we had not had lunch. Not at all. All our WhatsApp messages to management, though read, were never replied to. In 11 hotels during our current trip, this one is by far the worst for us. All the above is just the facts as they happened.

Nice place to stay. My son is happy with the junior suite come with bunk bed and the breakfast is very nice and many choices to choose. The staffs is helpful and friendly. We had our special celebration at here which have cake, balloon and candle. Its make my son's day 💚

The reason why we came here is only because of their Junior Suite. My kids aged 3&1 years old really love the house that came with the suite - but its probably too big for their liking. They end up playing only at the bottom house. If your kids age older, probably they will appreciate it better. The cleanliness & hygiene is so-so. Breakfast was okay. I couldn’t complain much because this hotel is what you paid. But overall its worth of money. Minus one star because it is a bit of dust and I cough all night. Other than that, its perfect for kids to stay.

I love to stay here. MRT nearby just walk in- (MRT Merdeka). Just walk away and go to Bukit Bintang at the middle night and stay here. The room also neat and tidy when we arrive. Can get discount for breakfast if booking before 11 pm. I booking the hotel room using Agoda and worth to stay. As usual, crowded with people during weekend. I love how they decorate the whole building into minimalist style. I love it! Will come again.

Room was good especially the mural & bunk bed for kids. Smart tv got problem & wifi is really slow. Parking is not free, RM6 per day. No fridge provided. Overall, main attraction is the mural, great for photo session & occasion. If the other aspect is improved, im sure more customers will be coming.

I stayed here for 3 nights. On first night the bathroom was stinky and towels smelled funny. But no more smells nights after. Overall it was clean. As it is very close to a train station, I stayed on the 3rd floor and could hear the trains clearly. So, if you're a light sleeper and about to stay here you might need to prepare smth for your sleep.

Do not recommend stay at here as the cleanliness in toilet is bad. Hotel was not well maintained as what pictures showed in booking website. However, the service at reception is good and helpful during my stay.

  • 3/5 Ennuo S. 5 months ago on Google
Pros: • The hotel is conveniently located close to MRT (right next to the entrance of Merdeka MRT Station) Cons: • Unfortunately, my stay was marred by several issues. The toilet in my room had visible mold, which was quite unpleasant. • The tap and shower head were rusty, and the water stains were everywhere in the bathroom. • The lack of soundproofing made for a noisy and disruptive experience. • To make matters worse, there was no housekeeping service provided during my entire stay, leaving me disappointed and inconvenienced. In summary, while the hotel’s location is a plus, the numerous maintenance and service issues I encountered make it difficult to recommend.

Private carpark RM5. 30 per entry. Room is large and cozy. Bed is excellent. Cleanliness 4/5, floor mat has stained. Can hear the mrt when pass by. Noise insulation not that good, can hear when other guests talked loudly when they pass by the corridor. Overall, would come again.

This place is great for solo travellers or small groups. The rooms are very comfy however there are a few flaws such as no hot shower and also no closet. But the place is super strategic where it only takes 10 minutes to Petaling street & Pasar Seni. It also takes less than 10 minutes to Pudu where lalaport is and also it's otw to Bukit Bintang area. Overall the place has been great with good service staff and a comfortable place to stay for a few nights. Will definitely come back here again one day.

I stayed in this hotel for three days The policy of this hotel was that they take 100 ringgit advance. They said that when you go back, your money will be given to you. But when they wanted me back they kept 20 ringgit When the reason was arrested they said that you emptied the room too late. But the real thing is that I did not know the confirmed time but they messaged me very late and said that your time is over. it was their own fault. From this I learned that Malaysian people are not good . If I ever visit Malaysia again I will not come back to this hotel again

The hotel is very beautiful at the lobby. Rooms are also comfortable Just there is no almirahs to keep clothes. Sufficient drawers are there to keep small stuff. They do have hangers in the room. There is a beautiful restaurant at lobby bluebird. There is also a water filter near lift area that makes us save a lot for water expense and access water any time of the day. We did not try but you can try their breakfast menu. They are not bothering in any kind. You can order food online as well. Only make sure their beddings are not messed up with food. We went during Christmas and it was very beautifully decorated. The view from room was also beautiful.

This hotel is refurbished and reopened to the public with new layouts, surroundings, and paints. But we're not too happy due to pillows and mattress conditions. Pillows provided are almost thinner, hard and severely old and uncomfortable. Same goes for the mattress too. Mattresses are uncomfortably dense, hard and rough. We almost couldn't get a profound sleep the entire night. Our room is facing the TRX building. Fortunately there's no such noise of construction of concrete buildings. The staff are good and friendly. But, the checkout process was lengthy and took almost 20mins for a successful checkout at the counter. We might not repeat due to uncomfortable bed set.

Room was spacious with a queen bed. There is a big smart tv in the room but can't really enjoy it because no WiFi provided in the room. Ironing facilities provided at the lift lobby at each floor. Breakfast rate quite cheap rm9.90. Overall, I enjoyed staying here but hotel need to clean its toilet floor. I think it is slippery due to not being cleaned frequently (floor's color is black, so can't really see if it is dirty).

We booked the junior suite. The room is a little smaller than than I expected. However, the kids loved it. Bathroom as previous reviews, black floor which masks the cleanliness. wished it could be cleaned better. However, the room was OK. Bed Sheets were clean. Room little dusty, but OK. WiFi in the room wasn't working. After informing the counter, they did want to send the technician team at 12 midnight, which was the time we filed the complaint. However, we declined, as it's already late and the kids were already sleeping. We ate at their restaurant, and food was pretty good. It's really nearby to the mrt. No need for car traveling at all.

Location undeniably is the best with the price your paid for staying in a central location in Kuala Lumpur. The service is good but there is lack of some attention. The room is quite spacious for two. Bedding is comfortable but the hygiene is quite lack with some old stains noted by my partner during the stays. Basically everything is okay

Honest review: Pros: big room and spacious room Smart tv with Netflix n all Cons: -but at front desk they ask us to use my mobile hotspot on tv not sure why -Only 1 access card given, so its really hard if you’re staying with someone -No daily housekeeping, even if you stay fr more than 2days and request -No phone is the room, so anything you have to whatsapp front desk and they hardly reply u -if you want to extend your stay, you will have to wait for the checkout time. And if the room you are staying not available, they will give different room with different price, so tiring -front desk staffs all youngsters and i believe they are all new, so expect long queue always - parking NOT free, rm6 per day - their cafe close at 3pm not sure why - nearby no cafes, shops. - all the positive reviews could be bcz of rm30 voucher given to guest to give 5 stars.

As for our first visit to this hotel, need to give compliment for the friendly staff that always greet with wide smile. Generous room space for affordable price that so close with city center. Definitely recommended for cool stay at city area.

Front desk had very limited English speaking personnel, so first time guests had to guess the check in instruction or await for an English speaking personnel to assist. The place is more suited for families with kids, and the day we book it seems like the entire hotel was overrun with kids. This can get very noisy especially at night, you can hear the kids screaming since the walls are thin and the acoustic is non-existent. For its price point, the room per night is somewhat competitive but the facilities are just not well kept and dirty. Anyone who books this have to take the photos representation on the site and on Google with a very big spoon of salt.

Right off the bat, I couldn't come to the lobby because there's a parking barrier that requires a Touch and Go card (my cabbie's card wasn't accepted) so as a dynamically disabled person, I had to walk all the way. Then prior to check in, the reception staff would not exchange my RM 100 note for small change so I could pay the cabbie until I demanded they sell me something so they had to give me change. Appalling! Thankfully, the room is a delight, brightly coloured which is why I chose it.Sadly, the hair dryer didn't work, I had to go down to get a spare from reception. The trains can be heard passing outside btw. New day,new cabbie, same getting to the lobby problem cause of the barrier. Despite the high review score, I'm terribly disappointed. If it is a smooth, relaxing experience you're looking for while in the city, look elsewhere as you'll only meet resistance here.

Loved that it is a kid friendly hotel- love the deco, very vibrant and colorful. The food however is below average, not particularly good. Go during off-peak - I can’t imagine going when it’s full - it will be very noisy. Walls are thin. Wouldn’t recommend going for business or leisure- more suitable for families. However location is great - right next to Merdeka MRT. Basic hotel but overall a good stay!

The room is clean and spacious. The bathroom is clean and all toiletries is prepared well. The bed very comfy and soft. The staff is very friendly. Bunk bed is good. ... Great location, staff and room. Stayed for a couple of nights, no issues. Good for family. Excellent place🤩

Lovely fuss free hotel which was connected to the fencing venue ! Serves ice cream at breakfast and I don't hear any kids complaining! It's just next to Merdeka 118 but unfortunately it's not open as yet.

Very good location and amenities are good as well. Hotel looks a little old, but well maintained. Only issue is that the bathroom could be better. Bathroom is small and water pressure is slightly lower than I would like.

I wish there is a no star button. Extremely disappointed with their food quality and taste. I took breakfast buffet the price quite reasonable but the way the food was so awful. The egg scramble was left open then the flies just came and sit. The milk that prepared to eat cereal is the powdered milk 🤮. The taste also very very bad. I wish I could spend that money for a good breakfast outside. In term of room i would say it's a bit spacious but then for cleanliness I would rate 2 star only cause the bedsheets felt a bit dusty and bathrooms is not so clean. They use black color mosaic so that the dirts are not visible but literally the bathroom floor is so wet. Overall I would b Never come back to this hotel again

We book the hotel and stated that can be checked in on 3pm. we arrived early 230pm and ask whether can check in earlier. the management said the room havent done cleaning. after that we come back on 6pm. the management still saying that the room havent cleaning. Wonder how the management clean the room that required half day to clean standard room? Quite disappointed with the service.

This hotel is near Merdeka MRT station. You can walk to Petaling Street 10 minutes walk. Check In time 3 PM. You can put your luggage first earlier. Check In process normal. You need to put deposit 100RM. And tourism tax 10RM. Lift is only 2 unit. When i was there, it only worked 1 unit. Ambience at the alley is dark since they paint the wall black colour. Room is not clean enough. It must be improved to satisfy your guest. The window is quite dark as well. I dont like dark ambience. Wifi was working good. Check out time is 12 PM. You have to wait 5 minutes when check out. Overall it still okay stay with your family. But it must have lot improvements. My score: 7/10

First time ever i stay in the worst hotel . But the only thing nice the room . I had to use my own data to switch on the tv , i had to pay if i want 1 more extra card . For the parking also need to pay . I am so disappointed with the staff front office, the room I already pay but i just ask for few hours to pay the deposit, in the rude way staff say if u don’t pay the deposit u, u cannot enter the room . HAHAHA SO FUNNY EVEN IN 5 stars hotel they give guess few hour to pay . The management is not systematic at all . Please teach your staff your to greeting guess .

Choosing this staycation for my kids birthday celebration. The place was comfy and suitable for kids especially the "mini house" for the kids. The location also strategic near by public transport, easier to move around places near KL. You won't regret staying at this hotel as it will make you kids happy, the decoration surround the hotel also nice for OOTD.

Good service. Nice staff. Pretty cool pool. The lobby is also nice, even though not quite up to other hard rock hotels in my view. Music at the pool was also a little boring. But that’s all criticism on a very high level. Awesome breakfast. Great rooms. Very clean.

The price is very reasonable. What I like about this hotel, the location is very close to the MRT station and very accessible by public transport. Plenty of parking available. The water pressure is also good and I can say this hotel offer a comfortable stay at a reasonable price
